Hi Alexandre,
If you want to use the SNC then definitely you need to have the
secure certificate. First you have to generate it using sapgenpse
it will create a file called cert in the folder saprouter\ntintel
prior configure the path of SNC_LIB and Also SECUDIR
SECUDIR-->usr/sap/saprouter
SNC_LIB--->usr/sap/saprouter/ntintel/sapcrypto.dll
set this variables. Then go to service market place and go to TCS
Request for the certificate then copy that certificate and paste in a txt
file with the name srcert.then import that certificate into saprouter.
Maintain routetab and then start the router.
Reward points if helpful.
Regards,
Vamshi.

Hi all
I have a sap router which was working fine until our IT dept changed from an old firewall to a new one with new ip addresses, since then i havent been able to connect to the SAP OSS from my ERP systems and i can't connect to my servers using a remote connection. I have changed the gateway fro the sap router to see the new changes and have had the ports 3200 and 3900 open on the PUBLIC ip address. where couls be the problem with my connectionHi,
Please ensure you have correct entries (IP Address, syntax) in your 'saproute.ini' under %winnt% directory (or wherever you have this 'saproute.ini' file located) in your SAP system.
for example for below router entry:
Router
sapservX=/H/your-SAProuter-internal-IP-address/H/SAPServX-IP-address/H/
Example:
sapserv4=/H/200.10.10.24/H/204.79.199.2/H/
200.10.10.24 is my SAP routeru2019s IP address.
204.79.199.2 is SAPServ4u2019s IP address.
Also, ask SAP if they are able to connect to your Router atlest. If they are able to connect to your router then the problem is between your SAP systems and your router alone. Otherwise you need to cross verify the whole connectivity.

yshenzHello,
Sorry I don't see what you mean with 'X25', can you explain ?
My firewall (ISA server 2006) is configured to let incoming connection go through and my saprouttab too, the parameters mean to be correct cause it's work but may be there is a problem with compatibility between ISA server and the saprouter ?
When the connection is local, we didn't have problem. Only when the connection is from the WAN.
Thanks

Saprouter reinstalling problem
Hi to all
I am having a problem previously i was having saprouter installed in one of my system with operating system XP installed in it.Now for some reasons i had to format that system and now when i am trying to connect saprouter i am unable to do that.Can any one please help me step by step how to reinstal saprouter again as i have already registered once how can i fix this problemHi Sanjay ,
Please let me know whether your IP ( Public and private ) and the hostname is changed or not .
If not changed , you can reinstall the SAPROUTER without registering again .
If it is changed , you need to register again and the document for registering your connection/SAProuter
IP address with SAP is Note 28976 (Remote Connection Data Sheet). This note contains all of
the information that you require when setting up your connection to SAP.

Hello everyone,
I face a problem with my saprouter, when I stay connected to SAP without using it more than 15 minutes, the connection is broken down !!!
The connection of my saprouter is ok if I work on SAP without interruption.
Any idea to tune the connection keepalive of saprouter ?
Thanks a lot in advance

Hi Friends,
I want to establish a RFC connection to a system.
Normaly, then I logon to the destination system using the gui I have to provide a saprouter string like /H/123.23.22.222/H/.
So then I connect through rfc how can I provide the string.
Thanks in advance.
JimbobHi Jimbob,
Provide something like "/H/<sap_router_hostname>/S/sapdp99/H/194.39.131.34/S/sapdp99/H/oss001" string into target with sysnr "01". Don't forget to define "sapdp99" in your services file on the host, if it is not exist.

When I run niping I get an error:
I run sapgenpse get_pse -v -noreq -p local.pse "CN=saprouter" where saprouter is the name of the local user. Maybe I am wrong ?
What should I write in CN ? Maybe host\username ? In other instructions I see that peoples make the certificate like:
CN=sgw, OU=IT, O=FTVL, C=COM, but I don't know how to use it for the local user on host, like CN=username, O=computername, C=domainname. C=local
Thanks!Sapgenpse get_my_name -v -n Issuer:

Windows 7 64 bit giving BEx Problems. Big time problems (!!)
Hi there, i just got through an issue with BEx connecting to SAP on a laptop using Windows 7. After googling and sdning and SAP noting for a while did not find any suitable answer to this issue which seems strange to me as Windows 7 64 bit is not really a brand new product. The full specs are as follow. Anyone bringing some light into this subject would be very much appreciatted.
=> SAP Logon 720 with 0 Patch Level.
=> MS Office 2007
=> Windows 7 64 bits
In C:\Windows i got:
-> SAPMSG.ini
-> Saproute.ini
-> saplogon.ini
in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common i got:
-> Sapgrph
-> saplogon
-> SapLogonTree.xml
-> saprules.xml
-> Saproute
-> services
The issue is that i am not able to logon either via BEx 7.x or 3.x. The Error message is:

This means that when using 64bit operating sytems with SAP GUI for Windows and related components you have to use a 32bit Microsoft Office version .
For your issue , you can check these Notes.

Could not open permission table
With Thanks and regards,
Pratip BhattacharyyaHi! Barry,
Rightly you have detected my problem. Yes , I am trying to create a route permission table.
But, unfortuanetly I am not able to do it till now. Even the PDF reffered by you and it's earlier documents. As per the doc (pg 25.) I have already created a txt file named as saprouttab.txt in d:\usr\sap\saprouter folder. Our Server is in Windows 2003. I have tried with defferent combination of connect string. But nothing working. I cannot understand the the problem. Am I doing anything wrong or missed something ?
I simply want to establish a connection in-between SAP Support server and our ECC server.
Awaiting for your advise.
With regards,

Problem with large spool lists
Hello everyone,
we have the following problem with one of our printers. When we are trying to print larger lists (>30 pages) the spool shows an "unknown error" and only a few pages are printed out.
We have the following setup. A Kyocera FS-9520DN printer with Device Type KYOAAB1C which is connected via saprouter connection and host spool access method U. The only error I get from the tracefile of the Spool WP is
S Tue Feb 22 07:34:37 2011
S *** ERROR => cannot write to connection [rspoclpd.c 857]
S *** ERROR => Lost connection, control file not sent [rspoyunx.c 1754]
T new memory block 000000002B6D6CE0
S handle memory type is RSTSPROMMM
and the SP01 error message
Status: Incorrect (Reason unknown)
Job status: Completed
Area: Unknown
Error: Reason unknown
Last event:
Message: Processing completed by spool work process
Any suggestions what might improve the situation? Thanks in advance
MarcoHi,
A direct connection to a remote printer is not recommended as per the SAP Note #64628.
The best option is to define the printer locally on the SAP server with Access method L for Unix or Access Method C for windows. If you need to use remote Access Method U or S, you should use a print server in between the SAP system and the printers.

Aidan
