SAVE AS window-Untitled should be replaced  by Invoice Number

Hi Folks,
I am giving the user the flexibility of saving the smartform in whichever the drive he wants.Indeed it is picking up the invoice number but not populating the same in the save GUI window.May I know what could be the problem.
I mean to say when the user click on pdf button on the pop up the following code is poppin up SAVE AS window but in the filename of that window it is not getting the INVOICE number.It is showing it as untitled.I want this untitled to be replaced by the invoice number.Kindly help me.
concatenate ls_bil_invoice-HD_KOMK-BIL_NUMBER c_extn into filename.
data:guiobj type ref to cl_gui_frontend_services.
data:name type string.
data:path type string.
data:fullpath type string.
data:filter type string.
data:uact type i.
data:cancel.
filter = '(.)|.|'.
create object guiobj.
call method guiobj->file_save_dialog
  exporting default_extension = 'pdf'
            default_file_name = space
            file_filter       = filter
  changing  filename          = FILENAME1
            path              = path
            fullpath          = fullpath
            user_action       = uact.
write:/ sy-subrc."kk
if uact = guiobj->action_cancel.
  cancel = 'X'.
  exit.
endif.
K.Kiran.

Hi Kiran ,
If I am not wrong you are sending a different name to frontend service
concatenate ls_bil_invoice-HD_KOMK-BIL_NUMBER c_extn into <b>filename.</b>
call method guiobj->file_save_dialog
exporting default_extension = 'pdf'
default_file_name = space
file_filter = filter
changing filename = <b>FILENAME1</b> " i think this has to be FILENAME .
Hope this helps.

  • Cannot boot into Windows XP, should I replace hard drive?

    THE PROBLEM: I have not been able to boot into or use Windows XP (SP2) for almost 3 years. I have been using Linux instead for 3 years and am using it now. The Windows Recovery process only half works, it works up until you have to boot up the computer from the hard drive. Then it no longer works. The computer will load the files from the TOSHIBA Recovery and Applications/Drivers DVD that came new with the computer onto the hard drive. But when you get to the point of booting off the hard drive, with newly added Windows & Toshiba files, nothing happens. It does not boot up into Windows XP. In fact I can see the newly added Windows & Toshiba fileson the hard drive when I boot into Linux (Live) off the hard drive.
    THE HARD DRIVE (Specs below): I ran a SMART Data check using a Linux (Ubuntu) Disk utility on the hard drive and it passed everything except for Reallocated Sector Count. There are 20 bad sectors. I called the Toshiba 800 # on the DVD and they told me that the problem may be the hard drive. A new TOSHIBA Recovery and Applications/Drivers DVD costs $40. Toshiba also said there is no Windows XP Recovery Console on the DVD.
    CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM: I think, and TOSHIBA agreed it is either the hard drive or corrupteD files on the TOSHIBA Recovery and Applications/Drivers DVD
    POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS: I have found a couple of sites that seem to have instructions for making a  Windows XP Recovery Console CD. And I have thought I might try to run some Windows XP Recovery Console commands  from such a CD, such as fixboot, fixmbr, etc. The try to see if I can boot into Windows XP from the hard drive. If I can, then that might suggest he problem is corrupted files on the TOSHIBA Recovery and Applications/Drivers DVD. If I still cannot boot into Windows, then maybe I should replace the hard drive. This should be very easy to do.
    QUESTION(S): Does anybody have any comments or suggestions? Does my approach sound good? Do you have any other suggestions?
    I have a TOSHIBA Satellite L25 S1216 that I bought new in early 2006. It has a 40 GB (5400 RPM) Enhanced IDE (ATA-6) 9.5 mm height hard disk drive in it. User removable, i.e., it is easy to replace.
    Thank you,
    Bob
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    My plan is to try to use the TOSHIBA Recovery and Applications/Drivers DVD to load the WIndows XP files onto the hard drive, then use the Windows XP Recovery console CD I downloaded from here
    http://www.proposedsolution.com/downloads/download-windows-recovery-console/
    by using commmands such as fxmbr, fixboot, etc to see if I can get the computer to boot up into Windows XP.
    Good plan, Bob!
       Description of the Windows XP Recovery Console for advanced users
    A backup plan would be to obtain a Windows XP installation CD from eBay or wherever. They are super cheap now. Then you could install Windows clean and add the drivers and utilities from the website here. Or you could use it to repair-install Windows.
       How to Perform a Windows XP Repair Install
    You are entitled to activate Home Edition for free. I understand that even after Microsoft no longer supports Windows XP (in April), they will honor activation attempts.
    I wouldn't mess with SSDs. And stick with IDE PATA drives. You won't need to worry about advanced-format technology since that didn't come along until the very recent SATA drives. Your BIOS should support 120GB (KB303013).  Some here.

    I went to my local Apple store last weekend with a similar issue on my 2007 C2D MBP and they quoted me a price of around £60 (excluding VAT) to replace the optical drive. That's about the same price as the external optical drive a bought for my RMBP.
    Alternatively you could just buy a 3rd party external drive if you want to save cash but note that the external Apple superdrive is not compatible with MacBooks with built in optical drives.

  • 2 SAVE AS WINDOWS

    Hi,
    When printing with 10.6 OS, Acrobat 9 Pro, using the PDF/Save As PDF/Save As: window opens up.
    I name the file and name the place on the harddrive where I want to store the file.
    I hit the SAVE button and the WINDOW IS IMMEDIATELY REPLACED WITH ANOTHER WINDOW!!!
    This window sometimes, sometimes not-depending upon what program I'm in-will show the location and file name correctly that I want to save this file to. When I hit the SAVE button on this 2nd window, the file is saved.
    Doing this twice is so stupid and I don't have a high enough IQ to through to ADOBE with my complaint.
    So. Any ideas.

    In a situation like this the people who know anything have signed a non disclosure agreement not to talke about what they are doing and know. As frustrating as it is you'll have to be patient. Bumps like this have happened in the past and Apple has responded with an update to fix it. How long it takes will depend entirely on how difficult it is to find the cause.
    This is why I always make sure I have a current backup before I apply any kind of an updater. Most times no disaster occurs but when it does....

  • Normal Save As Window

    It's kind of a pain to have to hit browse every time just to get to the normal windows Save As window.
    In this particular instance, I'm working on a daily radio show and I would normally Save As and just start typing the date for the name (201111 would bring up a list of all files starting with 201111, so I would know what the last date is).
    It may have something to do with the Mac/Windows integration, but maybe just use whatever default is there for the OS or give an option to use the new window or OS window?

    Store the folder they choose in a global or property variable

    tDestination = gLocalFolder & "word.doc"
    if baFileExists(tDestination) then
    -- prompt to overwrite
    tChose = baMsgBox("The file 'word.doc' already exists."
    &RETURN&
    "Do you want to overwrite it?", "Overwrite...?", "YesNo",

    There's no "New File" shortcut in Finder on Macs, so you have to launch the application you want (eg TextEdit), create your document, and save it there. There are workarounds using Terminal (the touch command), AppleScript/Automator, and using third-party launch programs like Quicksilver, but natively, it can't be done.

  • Why does my "save as" window grey out?

    Why does my FireFox 3.6.13 "save as" window grey out when I'm trying to save a file? (Actually it's light blue as opposed to the standard Windows Title Bar blue.) No matter what I try to click on within the box or the red X kill button, nothing is activated. I can move the window around but that's it.
    I can Ctrl-Tab my way around my open tabs but the save as window is still front and center. I can press the Alt key and scroll down to Exit but Firefox still shows up in Task Manager. In fact, if I try to restart FF after Exiting, I get a message saying something to the effect that FF is still running and must be closed out before it can be restarted.
    At first this was happening (started about 10 days ago) when saving a screenshot with a screen capture extension that I've been using for years so I uninstalled it. But now it's happening way too often, even when simply saving something as simple as an html file.
    I've reinstalled 3.6.13 but to no avail. There is no correlation between any recently installed extensions (I uninstalled them all). So I'm perplexed. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Have you tried the suggestions in this article? [[What to do if you can't download or save files]].
    Also, although it's not a complete replacement, I usually print those kinds of pages to PDF.

  • Can't save a windows file when opened on a MAC

    A colleague is updating some Flash files. I copied them to a
    DVD and gave them to her. She transfered them to the MAC. She can
    open them, but she can't save them. Has anyone ever heard of this?
    Thanks in advance!!!
    Rick

    I think sometimes when transferring files off of Windows
    written media the permissions can get messed up. Can she save them
    with a new name?
    Otherwise. In the finder (after copying off the DVD) select
    an item and do get info.
    At the bottom of the info window there should be a
    permissions section. Make sure her account has read and
    write.

  • I'm using Firefox version 3.6 on my '02 Mac G4. When I installed it, it worked fine, But then all of a sudden the "save" and "save as" windows stopped coming up at all when I selected "save" anywhere in Firefox. What happened and how do I fix it?

    I downloaded and installed Firefox on my '02 Mac G4. It worked great. Now I have version 3.6. But my weird problem is one day when I ran it, the "save" and "save as" windows stopped popping up at all. I'd left click a picture and select "save as" and nothing would happen. I'd go to the menu and select "save" and still no window would pop up. It would just act as if nothing had been clicked. No loading icon or anything and no "save as" window. I've never been able to get it to work. The volunteer in the live support chat typed "That IS weird.." I tried his suggestion but it did nothing. I may have deleted the plist preferences file in the preferences library folder to get it started again after a freeze up threw it out of whack but I've never had this happen before.And i've tried doing that again to see if that would restore it. But the plist always regenerates itself and the "save as " window still never appears when I run Firefox. The "save" window works just fine in every other program on my Mac, but not in Firefox. Weird..

    EmadJamal,
    the battery won’t melt because of long connection to the AC charger, although that has the potential of reducing the battery’s life.
    Do you have access to a second 60 W AC charger to test with your MacBook Pro, or access to a second 13-inch MacBook Pro against which your AC charger could be tested?

  • Windows Store should have a "Desktop App" or "Windows Store App" filters.

    Hi all,
    I don't know where to post this or how to feedback to the "Store" app.
    My friends and I think Windows Store should have a "Desktop App" filter feature.
    Thinking when you search for the app and have some Desktop apps appear in search result can be sometime frustrated.
    Or some user just want to find some desktop app for his PC, he should search in Windows Store easily by just filter only desktop apps.
    I think it would be a great feature for Windows Store.
    Thanks.

    Hello P.
    when you have the Windows-10-Preview, you can use the feedback-function to provide the information to microsoft directly. As Microsoft meantioned in the live-Stream (21/01/2015), microsoft is giong to listen to users feedback.

  • Options Startup Show my Windows & Tabs from last time,but upon exit FF doesn't ask to save tabs & windows. When restarting FF I have a home pape,but no Bookmark tabs show. Why

    Upon starting FF and going to my Home Page, I have no Bookmarks or Tabs showing. I have to Re-load the Bookmark Tabs. My options at Startup are "Show my Windows & Tabs from last time" Also using the Firefox exit,it does not ask to save tabs & windows on Exit. I'm getting tired of adding Bookmark Tabs each time I want to use FF.

    It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
    Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

    If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
    Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

  • Save As window comes up when saving a WebI document another user modified

    When trying to save a Web Intelligence document in the "Web" mode (not the java "Rich Internet Application" mode), users get a "Save As" window if another user was the last one to save the document.  The user can simply select the same location and "overwrite" the existing report.  They can also use the Rich Internet Application mode instead, since this does not have the same issue.  After that, the same user can continue to save the report as usual, until another user saves it.  The user has full control permissions to the document and to the folder.
    This doesn't seem like it would be a big deal, but most of our users access reports using hyperlinks from other websites, which opens the document directly in the web mode; and they just make simple changes like selecting a different value in an input control.  If the Save As window comes up, it takes them to their Favorites folder, and they usually don't know which public folder the report is stored in.

    I can not print anything from Firefox but on IE everything prints just fine. I happen to like Firefox a whole lot better so would appreciate a solution to my problem.

  • PDF opens "save as" window instead of opening (in Firefox)

    Hi all,
    I am using Captivate 5.5 to publish to .swf.
    In my project I have a button set to open a URL or file, with a path to a PDF file.
    It used to work fine in all browsers, the PDF would open in Reader or in a tab when the button was clicked.
    However I just noticed that when using Mozilla Firefox, clicking the button now opens a "save as" window to save the PDF file, rather than display it. What happened?
    Behaviour is fine in Chrome or IE.
    Issue occurs whether the PDF is set to open in the actual or a new window, and whether the project is set to continue playing or not.
    The project is entirely published and read locally.
    I am at a loss. Can anyone give me a tip on how to configure my button to work the same in all browsers?
    Thanks.

    Never mind, I found the answer.
    A matter of setting the Firefox options so that PDF files open in Reader or whatnot rather than prompt to save.
