Save edited datagrid change.

Hi it's me again. I ask before for something like that but
it's sound a bit confusing so I'll start from scratch.
I have a datagrid with name and other stuff inside. I edit a
name for example. Cause the grid is editable (true). I close the
application, open the application again and all the modifications
are gone. So what I want is to do is a button at the bottom of the
application that save all the modifications in the grid. So when I
open the application again later, the modification will still
there. I've try Array, XMLList... just tell me if you know an easy
way to do it. I'll start from scratch

  • I uploaded and edited my RAW image, clicked 'Save As', and changed the file type from .psed to .jpg.

I edited my raw image in Photoshop CS6, selected 'Save As', and changed the file type from .psed to .jpg. I also selected 12 and large file when the window popped up, concluding my 'saving as'. My computer does not recognize the file type and won't open them. Can someone help me? Thanks!

When naming files, stick to the letters of the ENGLISH alphabet, numbers and underscores.  Do not use illegal characters like apostrophes, commas, asterisks, ampersands, hatch or pound signs, diacritics or accented characters, slashes, etc.
While the period (dot) is not an illegal character per se, your file names should have only one period and that should always be followed by the file type extension.

  • How to save edit settings under preferrences to use when creating or printing a PDF from word 2003 Windows PC 8.1

I have tried to save my PDF settings after editing them, but when I go to "Print" to PDF and check the settings I keep getting Standard default settings.
There is no Adobe PDF listed as a file heading to change conversion settings on my Word screen.
I have tried to create a PDF by open file through the Adobe application and also by trying to print through the Word application with document open and using Adobe PDF as the printer driver.I have changed or edited the settings but they do not appear as an option to select, just the standard default settings.
I have been able to save my setting as a Adobe PDF job options, but can't access them or use them when it comes time to convert to PDF.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have apprached it 3 different ways:
    - by opening acrobat and going to preferrences, clining on  convert to PDf
    - Microsoft Word, then changes each section of the edit settings, ie
general, fonts, images, etc make the cahneges then hit OK, at this point I
get a save as option rather than a save. It saves my changes as a PDF, but I
am not able to access it when I go to make the PDF.
    - I also have tried to print PDF from Word  and got to properties to make
the changs with the same results as above.
    - Then I tried yur suggestion and went to the printer in the control panel
    and had the same results.
I am using mircosoft word 2003 which has been compatable with my windows 8.1
I think the problem may be I am using a "trial" version of Adobe Acrotbat DC
2105 version. It must not belettingme save the setting changes. But this
shouldnot be if they want me to really experience the full effects of the
    program.
    I appreciate your help, thanks

  • I transferred a pages file from ipad to mac (also pages) via email for editing. However received message that cannot save edited document to the mac because "trial period has expired for iwork"! I have purchased pages for both machines separately. Ideas?

I transferred a pages file from ipad to mac (also pages) via email for editing. It opened normally. However, after editing, received message that cannot save edited document to the mac because "trial period has expired for iwork"! I have purchased pages for both machines separately and presumed they would work without a hitch. Am I missing something?

It used to be that to update the trial to the licensed version with the box, you just inserted the DVD & ran the installer to convert the trial to licensed. This changed with Snow Leopard. You now need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

  • Accept all editions and changes with one click in a PDF document

In Adobe Acrobat (7.09) I see how to accept changes in a PDF document individually, but is is possible to accept all editions and changes with one click, as it is in Word for example. For tips thanks in advance.

    Hi,
To save usernames/passwords, you may have to make sure that '''Remember passwords for sites''' is still enabled in '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > '''Options''' > '''Security''' while at the same time in the '''Privacy''' tab, '''Never remember history''' or '''Always use Private Browsing''' shouldn't be enabled and if '''Settings''' is visible here, make sure that '''Saved Passwords''' is not enabled (ticked).

  • IPhoto 09 won't save edits...

So at first I would make edits to photos and they would appear the same in the edit window as they do in the gallery view. Now the edits don't "stick" and when you leave edit view the changes are not there. Say I go to edit a photo, and change it to black & white, it is black & white in the edit view, but when it goes to gallery view it is in color, and if I export it, drag it to the desktop, upload it to Facebook etc., the edits are not there. How can I fix this?

    Two things to try:
1 - create a second temp library, import a picture or two and see it if will save edits. If it does then the library is bonkers. If the second library acts the same go to #2.
2 - log into another account and try there. If it doesn't work there then iPhoto is the culprit and requires a reinstall. To do so you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iPhoto" in the file name that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder.
If it does work in the other account then your primary account is the culprit. It could be a preference file other than iPhoto's. Here's how to check that out:
    Trouble Shooting Preferences in Leopard
1 - Create a folder titled "Preferences A" on the Desktop.
2 - Open the working Preferences folder, HD/Users/your_name/Library/Preferences, and move the contents to the Preferences A folder on the Desktop.
3 - Make a duplicate copy of the Preferences A folder on the Desktop as a precautionary backup.
4 - With the working Preferences folder empty run the application again and determine if the problems is fixed.
NOTE: you may have to drag the contents of the working folder to the trash and empty if moving the contents to the A folder only copies them instead of moving.
5 - If the problem is fixed:
A - open the working Preferences folder (HD/Users/your_name/Library/Preferences).
B - Open the Preferences A folder on the Desktop, select all of the contents and drag them into the working Preferences folder.
C - When the Copy window pops up check the "Apply to All" check box and then click on the Don't Replace button as seen here.
6 - If the problem is NOT fixed, empty the working Preferencess folder and move the contents of the Preferences folder on the desktop back into it.

  • Where is the commit button to save edits?

How to save edited image after making changes,  I find no commit button?

If you're talking about the PSE Editor, use File->Save or File->Save As
If you're talking about using Adobe Camera Raw, there is no such function because your edits are saved automatically without you having to specifically take action

  • How do you save edits to bookmarks in Adobe 10?

After editing the bookmarks in a PDF file when the file is saved it appears that the bookmarks revert back to the original text.  Is there a specific way to save these bookmark changes?  Do you need to perform a Save As to capture the bookmark changes to the file?

This should not happen. There is either a problem with the file, or with your installation of Acrobat.

  • Pse 5 unable to save edits

I have hade pse 5 for several years.  All of a sudden, I can't save edits.  I get error message, "Unable to save.  Computer error."  What to do?

    Thank you for your response.
I'll reinstall PSE and see what happens.  The error message has changed to "an error in the program has occurred."  Doesn't state which error, but does lead to the conclusion that reinstalling would be a good idea.
    >>> TinkerTinkerUK <[email protected]> 11/2/2009 1:38 AM >>>
Not clear if this problem relates to all edits or just one or two pictures. My suggested acton is
    1) use Vista to copy these pictures to somewhere safe (CD/DVD, another computer).
    2) make another copy of the picture e.g. copy fred.jpg to fred_xx.jpg; and see if edit works on the new file.
The key thing at the moment must be to save the pictures.
Once the pictures are secure then you can worry about PSE. If the pictures are OK then my next move would be to reinstall PSE5 (this will not have any impact on albums or configurations as you are only reloading the source code)
The fact that you do not have other copies of pictures highlights the need for backups and file management of pictures. My action is always to bring all the pictures (good and bad) from the camera into a picture_download file which is stored on two different hard drives (in my case a separate computer). I then copy the pictures to the Adobe work area and do all the deletions, corrections there. Hence, if disaster strikes, I can always go back to the original.

  • How to Batch Datagrid Changes

I have an editable DataGrid that has an ArrayCollection
dataProvider. Multiple user updates are expected, how should the
changes be batched and sent as a single commit to the database?
Is there a built-in way to flag changed ArrayCollection rows
and only send those? Should a new object of the changes be built
and send on commit? I've seen reference to the DataStore object,
    but only in FDS context.
    Any direction would be appreciated,
    Thanks!

OK. Note that I haven't got 10.7, so haven't tested it on 10.7
Start by making a backup copy of the Address Book data. You will probably need to use Finder's Go/Go to folder to navigate to Library in your Home directory, and look in it's Application Support folder to make a copy of the Address Book folder.
Then run Script Editor, paste in this script and click Run. It should find any numbers that match your spec, and display to you what it will be changed to. When you are happy with the changes being offered click Cancel instead of OK and, in the script, put -- (two minus signs) before the line
display dialog (NewNumb as text) and remove the -- from the line below it. Run the script again and it should make the changes.
    --Change phone numbers beginning with 041 11 to 041 11 9
    --AK July 2012
    tell application "Address Book"
              repeat with Acontact in people
repeat with APhone in phones of Acontact
if (value of APhone as text) starts with "041 11" then
set NewNumb to (value of APhone as text)
set NewNumb to characters 7 thru -1 of NewNumb
                                            set NewNumb to "041 11 9" & NewNumb
      display dialog (NewNumb as text)
--set value of APhone to NewNumb
                                  end if
                        end repeat
              end repeat
    end tell

  • Editable datagrid firefox problem

I have created an application that contains an editable
datagrid but experiences problems when using the firefox browser.
If there are multiple tabs of firefox open and an item is selected
in the grid, when switching between the firefox tabs, the datafield
in the grid becomes selected for edit without clicking on it. It
appears that some kind of event is being called to change an entry
in the grid. Similar results occur when changing between different
windows i.e. firefox and flex builder.
However, I don't have this problem when using internet
    explorer.

That should be true for any Flex component.  Focus is always on something, you have to move it to a new place otherwise it gets restored back to what last had foucs.

  • Any way to "save" edited photos in iPhotos as you progress?

I am new to the Mac environment and wanted to know how to manually "save" edits as you do them. I want to have the option to "go back" to an already saved photo, in case I mess up while trying to modify or touch up a photo. I have been working on a photo album project and noticed when using the "Retouching" option, after I complete my edits, I click "done". It goes back into the album page, and the photo doesn't look the same and it looks distorted. I tried closing the app, restarting to see if it was cached memory issue, but it still looks distorted. The only way to go back is the "revert to original", losing ALL changes/edits I spent a lot of time doing! Any help would be appreciated...thanks.

Well, after each edit function you could save by clicking on "done", then create a duplicate of the edited photo to do the next audit function. Then hit "done" and repeat the procedure for each edit function. At some point, you will find out which edit function is causing the distortion. But you will be able to revert back to the previously edited version without wiping out everything you have done.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks a ton in advance.

  • Editable DataGrid and setInterval()

I have a page with an editable datagrid on it. I am not using
any item renderers or anything. Also I am refreshing this page
every five seconds by doing a setInterval() on it. Here's the
scenario which is causing the problem.
I select a cell to edit. The cell's look changes from regular
text to the look of an editable field. However if the refresh
happens before I make my changes, the cell gets converted back to
regular text. Is there a way for me to maintain the editability of
the cell through the refresh or should I use some other method of
    refreshing the data?

It seems to me that if the user has started entering data,
that you should suspend the refresh activity entirely, until the
current data is saved. Otherwise, it wll be nearly impossible to
update the data, since few people will be able to type and samve
sopmething in less than 5 seconds.

  • Can LR 5.2 be configured to save edits to disk?

I would really like to be able to save edited photos to disk, i.e., overwrite the original.  I know this is a breach of some universal law, but I would LOVE to be able to make changes in Develop mode in LR, then overwrite the original file on disk.  In my opinion, if the photo in LR resides in a folder, then edits should overwrite the file in the folder.  If the photo resides in a catalog, then only changes to the catalog image should be made.
Is there anyway to get LR 5.2 to overwrite photos in a folder with the edited version?
    -Thanks

No. Lightroom is a parametric editor that never touches the original.
If you insist on burning your bridges you'll want a pixel editor like Photoshop or Elements.
