Save modified difference in ik11 enhancement

Hello all,
The requirement is, in ik11 while creating measuring document, the difference should be modified according to the measuring point and saved on save button, which is not in standard.
For finding exact point for coding, I put breakpoint in BADIs(IMRC_CHANGE_CHECK, APPL_OBJ_OHFW, APPL_OHFW), Exit(IMRC0001) and BTE(PM000040 used ZSAMPLE_INTERFACE_PM000040), and tried to modify the cdiff value which is for field difference in the global internal tables and saved, but when i am checking the table IMRG or generated measuring document in ik13, modified value is not getting displayed.
Where should I put my code so that modified value gets saved.

The user exit IMRC0001 can be used for your requirement. Please read the documentation where it clearly mentions which table to modify. Can you please share your sample code

Explicit enhancement option
The Implicit enhancement options are provided at specific source code places explicitly by SAP (Note that these enhancement definitions can also be created by partners and customers in their code).
There are two types of Explicit Enhancement options available. One which can be provided at a specific place - called Enhancement Point, and another which can be used to replace a set of statements u2013 called Enhancement Section. For this, we now have two new ABAP statements, viz.
u2022 ENHANCEMENT-POINT
u2022 ENHANCEMENT-SECTION
When the Enhancement-Section is implemented, only the implementation gets executed and the original code doesnu2019t get executed. This is a new technique, which didnu2019t exist previously in any of the old ways of enhancing, to exclude any standard SAP code from execution. Because of this, there can be only one active implementation of an Enhancement-Section. On the other hand, there can be multiple active implementations of an Enhancement-Point, in which case all the implementations will be executed with no guarantee in the order of execution.

How to save modified Virtual Compnents to database

I am wondering if there is a way to save modified Virtual Components back to the database as a new component model? I have not seen a way of doing this. For example, if I create a Relay using the Virtual Relay, is there a way to save my newly created Relay as a new Part in my database for future use?
Also, while I am on this subject, if I download someone else's schematic with a part model that is not in my database, how do I go about saving that particular part to my database?

Hi Lacy,
Any interactive component will not allow you to save back to your database for the purpose of simulation. if you only care about the create a schematic you can always use the symbol by going through the component wizard. Interactive components referred to component that changes state while simulating, for a relay you see the symbol toggle on the screen as you simulating the circuit. The models for these components have special code and when you save them to your database the engine no longer recognize the code therefore will not work.
If someone send you a schematic you can double click on the component and there should be a "save to database" option. This feature was added in V8 if I recall correctly, double check for yourself if you have this option. If you don't have this feature, you can extract the netlist by selecting Transfer-->Export netlist and you can open the file with Notepad, in the netlist file you will find the model which you can copy and create a new component yourself.

How to save the difference values in cube after planning functions.

Now i am facing small problem but it is tricky..
in BPS reading the actual value and modifying the actual value in my plan layout and storing the plan values in my transactional cube.before saving the data i am checking the difference between actual and plan value and that difference value i am saving into my cube.here i am using two planing function one is distributing the actual value into my weeks(using fox code i done)after distributing now i am using second planning function to calculate the difference values.but in my layout alwyas i have to show distribute values only.not difference values but in cube i have to save difference values how can i manage this situation.

Can't save modified file to a folder in an image disk directly

I have an image disk on an external drive (firewire) and if I try to save a modified file of an existing file or do a "save as" to a folder, I'm always sent to the root directly of the finder and I have to navigate myself all the way back to the destination folder, every time. MS Word is even worse. I get a message that I have the wrong path and then it sends me back to the root directory. When I get back to the destination folder, MS Word accepts it but shows the message again, anyway. This doesn't happen if I save to the image disk directly and not go into a folder.

Perhaps your Quicken preference files are corrupted, it's not bad, and an easy fix. Locate this file or one that is similar: com.quicken.plist It should be here; MacintoshHD/Users/Library/Preferences. Open the Preferences folder, locate that file, drag it to the Trash, empty the Trash and reboot. It's ok to trash a pref file, your Mac will create a new one for you.

Can see but not save/modify files on external drive

New Mac user. I have an external drive for all photos/movies that I've used wth a PC.
Bought the Mac. I can pull files from the drive but I can't access the drive to delete/modify existing files or save new files.
It's treats whole drive as "read only".
How can I modify stuff on the external drive and save new files to the external drive?

How to attach custom code after invoice save/modify

Hi to all,
i should solve techically this problem.
I have an invoice document.
After the modify/save of the invoice document, i should start a custom procedure that, line by line, read the invoice document just saved, and save the net value of each position in a custom table.
I cannot simply read the whole net amount of the document, because only positions that fulfill some conditions must be added to the custom table.
On the second step, i should modify that document and create another invoice document whith the positions that doesen't fulfill the conditions above. The same check (and the same code) must be executed on invoice modify also.
Exit, BADI, business transaction events, workflow (that i never use), modify standard trx code (but the customer doesen't want).
These are the methods that i know. I've already searched for exit, BADI and BTE (event 00001030 for example), but nothing of these seems help me on solve the problem, because they all start before the document is saved on the database (so i don't have the document number and the effective data saved).
Any good suggestions/hints/links/solutions etc... will be surely rewarded.

i was quite sure that the problem was solved but .... i was wrong.
The problem is more difficult that what i wrote in the first post.
For this, i need your help/suggestions.
If i create a document 0000001 with VA01 trx, after the document is saved on db,i have to :
- read positions of 0000001 invoice document
- add the net value of some positions in a custom table
- modify some data of some invoice positions of 0000001 invoice document
- save again the document 0000001
Whith the BADI, i can save the net value of the invoice positions in the custom table. The problem is that the BADI code is executed before the commit work. But i think i can solve this problem using a function module ... in update task.
The main problem comes after i saved the net value in the custom table, because i have to modify the invoice document just created.
Before the commit i don't have any values in the db, so how i can modify that values? And with which technique? The BADI doesen't support "PERFORMS" (on commit) and in a function module (in update task) i cannot use instructions like call transaction, call screen, submit etc because they set an implicit commit work --> that means dump during registration.
How i colud solve the problem? Workflow?

How to save modified photo to I Photo

I'm very new to Elements. I dragged a picture to PSE, modified it and want to drag it back to I Photo. I can't find a way to save it to I Photo.

How do I save modified RAW images in JPEG format?

I have several RAW images that I mass modified with the "Camera Raw" editor (I modified one and applied the changes to all other images). How can I now save the modified images as JPEG images? I know I could open each file in Photoshop and save it as JPEG there, but that would take A LONG time.

They have to be opened, one by one, before the adjustments are applied and the image files saved, but the process can be automated. For instance through the already included Image Processor, or Image Processor Pro, also pre-installed, or through Actions and Droplets you create yourself.

Can't save modified dpi in Preview.

I am attempting to change the dpi of several images for my publisher, from 72 to 300 dpi. The Inspector box shows that I've made the change, until I go to save the change, and it reverts back to the 72 dpi. What am I doing wrong?

DPI is Dots Per Inch is a mathematical calculation rather than a setting - to know the DPI you first must know the pixel dimensions of the image - get this from the Info pane in iPhoto - then you need inches which you get from the person who is going to print the image - digital images have no inches, only pixels - physical images (computer displays are usually 72 DPI displays) do have DPI but you calculate it rather than set it
So if you want to print an image at 8" x 10" and 300 DPI then the digital image image must be 2400 x 3000 pixels or larger - see http://www.rideau-info.com/photos/mythdpi.html
That being said there is a meaningless DPI field in the EXIF data - while it makes no difference at all you can set a value in that meaningless field in PhotoShop Elements and maybe other programs - you can not in iPhoto

Cannot save modified connection properties

SQL Developer 2.1.1.64. I create a database connection and use it for some time. Now I right click on connection to modify its properties. Then I click on Save but the changes are never saved. No matter what I do, the connection keeps pointing to original parameters. When I press Connect, nothing happens. The only way to change is to delete and create a new one. Is there something I am doing wrong?

There is no output in the console window.
I will give an example. I have a connection entry like
Connection Name: ORCL_system
Username: system
Password: abcdefg
Save Password is checked
Role: default
Connection type: Basic
Hostname: server1.abc.com
Port: 1521
Service Name: orcl.abc.com
Now I want to change this entry to use TNS. I right click on ORCL_system and select "Properties" from context menu. I change these properties as:
Connection Name: ORCL_system
Username: system
Password: abcdefg
Save Password is checked
Role: default
Connection type: TNS
Network alias : ORCL (select this from the drop down list which is generated from my tnsnames.ora file)
Now I click "Test". I get a success message. This means that SQL Developer has established the connection. I do either of the following actions and they fail:
a) I click "Save". The changed properties are not saved. If I close SQL Deveoper and start it again, the connection goes back to using "Basic".
b) I click "Connect" and nothing happens. The SQL Worksheet does not open. The connection properties are not saved if I close SQL Developer.
I am very sure that this used to work in earlier versions.

Adobe Acrobat X Std. How do I save modified pages with comments only?

I have a 500 page document which I edited few pages. I was wondering if there is a way to save (in pdf format) only the modified pages that includes the text comments + add file or pictures.

You'll want to ask in the forum for Acrobat. This one is for the free Reader which cannot do any of this.
But to get you started, you can use Document>Extract pages to create a new file of the modified pages...
