Saving an user exit

Where can i save my user exit while i am working with an user exit in real time. should i save it in my package or in local object.

If u do any changes in user exits that need to be save in
package level under workbench request.Not in Local object.

Problem in saving a user exit

I am working on a user exit for the KKA2 transaction . I needed to maintain Text Elements for the same(The main program where the text elements are maintained is SAPLXKAG) and while saving of the text elements i assigned the package name but saved it as a local variable by mistake due to which it is saved as a local object . Now i need to put these text elements under a Transport request . Can some one help me out . Thanks in advance .

I've tried recreating in my system. I see how you did it now. We must change the package for object directory entry....
R3TR FUGX XKAG
Go to SE03, click on the option for....
Change Object Directory Entries
Next, click on the execute.
At the end of the list, enter FUGX in the first input box and XKAG in the second input box, the first box in the line which is greyed out will be filled in automotically, check the checkbox next to your entry and click execute.
On the next screen, you will see you object, notice that is is assigned to $TMP package, now double clickk on your object, a dialog will appear where you can change the package.

 I am in search for User Exit before the Purchase Order gets saved.This User Exit should capture this generated Purchase Order and post it to the Destination System for further processing.

User Exit while saving the Excise Invoice in J1IIN

Dear All,
I want know whether anu User Exits are there while saving the Excise Invoice in J1IIN.
The "scenario" here is as follows:
---I will create an invoice(Commercial) in VF01. Suppose I got a number 1234(This is Billing Document number).
---Now I will go to J1IIN and create an Excise Invoice by reffering to the VF01 Billing Doc Number.I will enter all the details. Then I will Save it. While saving I want to check the following aspect:
I want to compare the Billing Document Number and Excise Invoice Number and give error if both the numbers are not same.
---That is I want to see that Excise Invoice and Billng Document number should be same.
I need your suggestion in the above scenario.
I will definitely reward if problem is solved.

Updating custom field in table EKKO within user exit when PO is saved

I am trying to update a custom field in table EKKO when a PO is saved. I am using FM EXIT_SAPMM06E_013, within enhancement MM06E005. Since EKKO is not a table that can be updated with this user exit, I am using a technic that I read about on SDN where I assign a field symbol to the calling program variable and then am able to access data within EKKO table. But when I pass this data back into the field symbol, for some reason this field is not getting saved when the PO is saved. In debug mode, it looks like this field is getting updated, but when I look in the table after the PO is saved, it is not there. My code sample is below. What I am doing wrong?

Firstly, have you investigated using EXIT_SAPMM06E_008 to set any custom fields you have added in the EKKO_CI / CI_EKKODB structure?.. that might work more easily.
In terms of doing an assign back into a calling program's memory, it can work but it's probably worth setting a break point in your code then stepping through watching the values in EKKO - sometimes you can find subsequent code that re-writes an earlier copy of values back into the structure, thereby preventing you doing your change... SAP does warn this method is for "internal use". Also check in your debugger that it's SAPLMEPO and not SAPMM06E you need.

User Exit/BADI to modify MCHA-HSDAT while saving a process order

Dear all,
I would like to know if there are any user-exits or BADI's to modify MCHA-HSDAT field, while saving process order.
Scenario: There are two material types ZBUL and ZFDF. After releasing the process order and when I save, an entry in MCHA table for material with material type ZFDF is created.I should make a check if MCHA-HSDAT of this ZFDF material is equal to MCHA-HSDAT of ZBUL.
If not, I should replace MCHA-HSDAT of ZFDF material with the HSDAT of ZBUL material.
I have checked user exits 'PPCO0007' and PPCO0014 and PPCO0020 but I could not find MCHA structure to update.
Do, I need to create an implicit enhancement for this?

Do the following steps in order to find the best exit for you.
for e.g. using enhancemnt PPCO0020 FM EXIT_SAPLCOKO_005. Use the "Where used list" to get the point where this FM has been called. So in this case you can use "(SAPLCOKO)MCHA" as field symbol.

User Exit for ME21 PO Creation at the time of saving--Urgent

Hi,
Can some one help me out in finding the user exit for PO creation at the time of saving.
The Requirement is:
I need to create a custom field in EKKO table.
After appending the structure with the field to the EKKO table, i need to create a PO.
Now i need to update the field which has been created at the time of pressing the SAVE button.
I need to update the EKKO table it self.
I could find the user exits but none of them have the EKKO table either in Changing or in Tables.

Stoping process of saving purchase order(ME21/ME21N) in the user exit.

Hi,
I am using user exit "EXIT_SAPMM06E_016" of purchase order. While creating PO and after user enters 1st line item or more items and presses save button, then this user exit will be called.
Now my requirement is I have to check "item delivery date" , if it is more than 300 days from creation date then I have to show popup for warning the user for the same and if user want to make the changes then this user exit should stops the process of saving the PO and returns and allows to change the PO.
Please help me in this.
how I can stop the saving process.

You can do it in IM_ITEM method
DATA: ls_mepoitem TYPE mepoitem.
ls_mepoitem = im_item->get_data( ).
if you check ls_mepoitem-quantity field it will give your required value....pls Go through the documentation below for the method

User Exit OR Badi for MK01 transaction (used for saving vendor amster data)

Hi All,
I have a requirement where I have to call my workflow, when we create the Vendor using my custom transaction (ZMK01, which is a copy of standard transaction MK01).
For Workflow triggering I am using FM 'SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT' in the user exit 'EXIT_SAPMF02K_001' but this is only for checking the data on saving Vendor Master.
So I want to use FM 'SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT' at right place. For that , I need User-Exit or BADI which is used for saving vendor master data.
Could anyone please help me to find out the user exit or BADI for save event of vendor master data using transaction MK01.

U will the badi definitions.
For User exits:

You have to use 'EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_003' to import data from screen to your tables and use 'EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_001' to send data to screen.use the below code like below:
EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_001:

clear: ci_ebandb.

move-corresponding i_mereq_item to ci_ebandb.
