Saving back to tha DB from an down loaded XLS

Hi,
In my application from a JSP I need to genarate some reports and user will be able to export that data to XL.
Once after viewing it , he will be editing some data and then the requirement is that he should be able to save the new data back to Data Base.
I am able to export data to XLS, once after it reachesthe client there won't be any connection with server and how do I save that in the Data Base back?
If it's in XLS-MACROS (using Visula basic), probably by launching the macro it can be done by ODBC connection. But
1) I don't know how to launch macro, which will be having genarated report data in the XLS-MACRO?
2) Even if it's done, user will be able to see the code and connections etc.. and if all the users start opening connections and Open data base calls to Data Base it will hang.
Does any one did this before and any one has any idea ?

I have a separate approach for this solution. You need not at all have any macro call for XLS. Use csv format for file updaload and download. Then you need to do little bit of extra work (for storing and extracting data those are formatted by comma separated value). All database fields wil be separated by comma.
CSV is a format that is supported by microsoft excel. It is a normal text file type. So while downloading the data from your JSP to file, you can very well save data in CSV format and write into a file with .csv extension. Once your application downloads data into CSV file (which opens with microsoft excel), you can add / delete /modify the file using excel. The updated data you can trap very easily and load back to your database.
I am sure this will solve your problem to the fullest extent.

Swipe through your screens and swipe to the left of your Home screen. Type in App Store in the search field. It's a permanent pre installed Apple app so it can't be deleted.
If you can't locate it on the iPad for some reason, connect the device to your computer. Right or control click the iPad under Devices left side of the iTunes window then click: Restore from backup

TS1424 parts of songs from itunes down loads missing

i have downloaded some purchased songs and only part of the song plays.
after 3-4 minutes of songs ranging from 8-33mins it stops or jumps to next track. there were no error messages when downloading.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Set up from creative down load does not detect any sound blaster audigy mess

I have a sound blaster audigy with no installation cd. I installed the card to download the drivers. The detection software on the site said there was no creative product installed.
I downloaded the web update file and saved to my desk top. Ran the file after closinging all apps and got a message that there was no audigy detected. Reinstalled the card, same, did it again in another pci slot.
Tried finding a driver in xp, found one for soundblaster. No sound at all with this xp driver. I do not have intergrated sound on the abit k7rsa board. How do you install the driver if the set up program stops you because it does not see the device, and with no install cd? Thanks for any help.

I have the same problem. About a year ago I threw out all my driver cd's because they were really piling up and i figured i'd never need them because I've been able to download all the driver's i've ever needed from company websites.
NOT SO with Creative.
I have the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum (the one with the ports for the front of the computer). I recently had to reinstall my OS. I got the soundcard to work, but all the optional components I had before (like the ability to use the remote control to control sound, and the EAX console etc) are gone. I tried to download these components from the website (it's really hard to tell which is which, so i downloaded them all). They will NOT install! I keep getting the error message "Setup did not detect required components, Setup will exit" on all the download software.
This is extremely frustrating because I'm unable to setup the speakers properly (windows speaker settings don't really work).
I did manage to do the automatic update thing, but it only updates the core drivers.
PLEASE HELP!
I paid $200 bucks for this card (granted, that was a couple years ago), so I should be able to at least download the same software that came with the product!
Please have a professional (not an engineer without user interface experience) design the download area too...it is extremely difficult to understand what the individual components really do! At the very least, when you download them...they should work!

My college has informed me that firefox 7 is not compatable with their online classes and I must go back to firefox 6 but you down load of 6 will not let me it is trying to force me to upgrade to 7 how can I get 6 back?

My school (Highline Community College) as advised me that firefox 7 will not allow people to use the (Angel) online e-mail system. I need to stay in contact with my teachers. They said don't get firefox 7 but I already have it. They said go back to firefox 6 which they even provide a link for but when you upload it it says this is an old system click here to get 7. I already have 7 and know it will not work. How can I get 6 back.

I have the same problem. It was literally snuck in as a simple update and suddenly I couldn't upload any of my assignments. You can get rid of 7 by going to control panel and removing the Mozilla file. then look for the FF 6 upload. I warn you though. It REALLY wants to be 7. Don't allow any updates to happen or you will be in the same position.
I like Firefox and it is truly disappointing that they would force this situation. My nest step is back to IE 8 which wants to be 9. Arghh!

You would be better off contacting the site you downloaded the screensavers from. You may need to run a setup file to install the screensavers. The site you downloaded them from should be able to confirm what you need to do.

For some unknown reason a down load was interrupted (not paused) and i have 1.7 GB of a 4.7 GB file down loaded. How to resume?

I was down loading a 4.7 GB file (ISO image) and paused at 1.7 GB. When resuming I got a message that the file could not be saved. On trying to resume the down load, it starts from the beginning! On checking the directory I find that a 1.7 GB file exists on my disk. How do I down load the balance file. The OS is Open SUSE 11.2. Linux.

In Disk Utility, select the iPod (the device) in the sidebar. So, if you see the iPod in the sidbar with a "volume" indented below the iPod, select the "device" (not the volume).
Go to the Erase tab to the right. The choice for Format is Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Name does not matter, because iTunes will rename it during the Restore. Click Erase.

That may be an issue with the USB connection. As a test, shut down (power off) the Mac. Disconnect other USB devices including USB hub, except for standard USB keyboard and mouse (if normally used). SInce this is a laptop, connect it to its power adapter, so that it's not running on battery power.
Connect the iPod to a direct USB port on the Mac. Note if there is any difference regarding the iPod not maintaining a connection.

My Iphone 4 is not restoring, specifically I have slow down load speeds and it is not completeing the download?

I have gotten results from, the down load will not start, to I get over 500MB of the 780MB than it stops and I lose it all. I have tried to do small blcks and pause, but whenever I pause the download it starts from the begining again. According to Itunes, my phone and Itunes are up to date. Does anyone have any ideas to help break up the download so I can get it in pieces and eventually have the full update to restore to?

Have you tried transferring a purchased move by:

In iTunes 11 use Control+B to show the Menu bar then go to iTunes>File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
Does your country allow a redownload by? Not all countries do and the link also provides a link to what each country allows for redownloads

Open Time Machine to the date that you know the iPhoto Library is in the format you want and select and Restore it.

I bought an iPad 5 days before my mum did. My one set up from switching on. My mums what a nightmare had to take it back to the shop for them to down load iCloud. How can they sell 2 different products?

I bought an ipad2 5 days before my mum. Mine started to set up from the minute I switched it on. However my mums what a nightmare. After many hours of trying to solve the problem and searching the Internet we took it back to the shop. This one had to have iclouds downloaded from iTunes. Was told that they are the same? When you looked at the boxes the discription on the back was different and mine had a tiny silver cloud sticker on it which ment it didn't have to down load th iOS soft ware from iTunes. I wish I had known at the time that there was 2types out there as I would have asked for my mums to be the same as mine. Not happy.

Sounds like one unit had iOS 5, the other had iOS 4. Unfortunately it happens that some units are shipped from the factory at different times with different Operatin Systems installed.

Since the Brushes were rewritten for CC, backsaving them (as well as other items) will cause them to be expanded. No way around it.
