Saving text and pics......... please

hi
ive a prob with object cerialization. some text and pictures are in the JTextPane and they have to be saved in file. in many books only few things are given about cerialization. please give me a link to sort out my problum. and any example if u can pl pl pl....

DefaultStyledDocument already implements Serializable.
