Make sure you are using the same version of Xerces in ant, tomcat, jaxb and java (endorsed folder). Preferably 2.2.1. Still, for some reason I cannot make it work under Tomcat 4.1.12, works fine whenever my app is run outside tomcat, but if I run it in tomcat, it doesn't recognize the XML document as it was defined in the schema (especifically the attributes). I have posted the question but no answers yet.
I had your problem, and checked what I was doing and had different versions of Xerces, one packaged with JVM 1.4.1_01, another with Ant 1.5, another with tomcat and yet another one used in my app. Just downloaded the latest version, replaced all instances of xercesImpl.jar, xalan.jar (if you are using it), xmlParsersAPI.jar and xsltc.jar (if using latest v. of xalan) everywhere and it worked fine, compiles fine and runs fine (outside of tomcat). Make sure you copy them in your endorsed folder (inside the jre/lib folder of your java installation).
In any case, if you run the JVM with the parameter -verbose:class you will be able to see from where the DOM and SAX classes are being loaded.

    Thanks,

    Hi, you may look at your report builder version because a lot of them are bugged out and do need to be upgraded to a higher level...I saw a lots of crashing when opening reports and also compiling reports that ended being an old report builder version full of bugs.

    But I'm compiling within "Borland JBuilder 9.0". I've
    set the JDK path of the current project to point to
    the path of JDK 1.5.0 . I've also tried to compile at
    command prompt with "javac". I'm getting the same
    error of "Undefinedclassloader" with long StatckTrace.
    I don't know anything about JBuilder either. If you use the command prompt and enter the full path to the 1.5 javac.exe then that will prove whether the issue is using an older javac or not. For example "c:\j2sdk1.5.0_01\bin\javac HelloWorld.java"

  • Getting an strange error in "PluginPrefix.pch" while compiling a plugin code with InDesign CS4 SDK.

    Hi everybody,
    Currently trying to compile/build the existing Plugin code (C++) with InDesign CS4 SDK on my Mac OS X 10.5 machine but getting following strange errors.
      /Volumes/MAC Extended/Inbetween Extended/Visual Studio/Adobe InDesign CS4 SDK/source/precomp/gcc/PluginPrefix.pch:26:27: error: MemoryStatics.h: No such file or directory
      /Volumes/MAC Extended/Inbetween Extended/Visual Studio/Adobe InDesign CS4 SDK/source/precomp/gcc/PluginPrefix.pch:39:30: error: PluginBuildFlags.h: No such file or directory
      /Volumes/MAC Extended/Inbetween Extended/Visual Studio/Adobe InDesign CS4 SDK/source/precomp/gcc/PluginPrefix.pch:40:28: error: AnsiBasedTypes.h: No such file or directory
      /Volumes/MAC Extended/Inbetween Extended/Visual Studio/Adobe InDesign CS4 SDK/source/precomp/gcc/PluginPrefix.pch:41:26: error: ShukHeaders.cp: No such file or directory
    Though above mentioned files are present at the following directory
    /Volumes/../../../Adobe InDesign CS4 SDK/source/precomp/common/
    Note : However initially I did not find “MemoryStatics.h” and “AnsiBasedTypes.h” files in the installed SDK directory. I have downloaded them from the net and copied those into the above mentioned directory.
    I am not much familiar with Mac OS environment and compiling/building C++ code with Xcode. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue (might be very trivial and related to Xcode project configuration) ?

    Thanks for the quick response,
    Yes, current build settings include path shortcuts as mentioned below and it also contains “$(CS_SDK_PATH)/source/public/includes” path in HEADER_SEARCH_PATHS settings.  But still I am getting the same error: MemoryStatics.h: No such file or directory
    CS_SDK_PATH= /Volumes/MAC Extended/Inbetween Extended/Visual Studio/Adobe InDesign CS4 SDK
    CS_SDK_PRJ_PATH=/Volumes/MAC Extended/Inbetween Extended/Visual Studio/InBetweenDev/Projects/InBetweenCS/IBClientPluginCS3/prjCS4/mac
    Just for clarification : my Plugin code /project files are not inside the InDesign SDK (build/mac/prj). All the plugin project is outside of the InDesign SDK directory. Thus above mentioned CS_SDK_PATH and CS_SDK_PRJ_PATH are completely different.
    Is it expected that the plugin code/project files should be inside the InDesign SDK/build/mac/prj  directory only ? or is it okay if we put it in the completely another directory structure and modify the  SDK_PRJ_PATH accordingly (as in my case) ?
    Please let me know if you want me to elaborate the situation further.

  • Error while compiling java file

    Hi, im newby in java,
    i was trying to compile java files, and after that i will use it in JSP as javabean.
    I have 2 files already, the first file is a connection code, and its compiled successfully, it looks like this
    i named this as ConnectionBean.java
    package my_package;
    import java.sql.*;
    public class ConnectionBean {
         private Connection con;
         private static final String driver = "org.postgresql.Driver";
         private static final String url = "jdbc:postgresql://localhost:5432/PSQLDS";
         private static final String username = "postgres";
         private static final String password = "mypassword";
         public ConnectionBean() {
         public Connection logOn() {
              try {
                   Class.forName(driver); con = DriverManager.getConnection(url, username, password); }
              catch(ClassNotFoundException e) {
                   System.err.println("ConnectionBean: driver unavailable..."); con = null; }
              catch (SQLException e) {
                   System.err.println("ConnectionBean: driver not loaded..."); con = null; }
              return con;
         public void logOff() {
              try {
                   con.close(); }
              catch (Exception e) {
                   e.printStackTrace(); }
    as you can see above im using "package", and yes i have manage to put all my java files within the correct path (ROOT\WEB-INF\classes\my_package)
    And also, i have test this class as javabean on JSP file and it works.
    There for i continue to create the second java file, as a purpose to create a back engine for JSP. I use the same package as ConnectionBean.java, it looks like this
    i named this as ListPageEngine.java
    package my_package;
    import java.beans.*;
    import java.sql.*;
    public class ListPageEngine {
         public static void main(String[] args) {
              ConnectionBean conBean = new ConnectionBean();}
    on compiling process using command "javac ListPageEngine.java", i get this error message
    ListPageEngine.java:11: cannot find symbol
    symbol : class ConnectionBean
    location: class my_package.ListPageEngine
    ConnectionBean conBean = new ConnectionBean();}
    ^
    ListPageEngine.java:11: cannot find symbol
    symbol : class ConnectionBean
    location: class my_package.ListPageEngine
    ConnectionBean conBean = new ConnectionBean();}
    ^
    2 errors
    I think, i am pretty much sure that all my configuration (wheater its Apache TomCat, Environment Variable or PostgreSQL server) was good, as a prove, i was able to use ConnectionBean.class in my JSP file.
    I susspect the problem is related with "package", seems i cannot use ConnectionBean class within ListPageEngine class when i use package.
    For another information, i didn't install such thing as J2EE, i only install JDK 1.5, i also guess this might be the cause.
    Right now im all stuck, i try to find thread which might be related with my problem but i failed to find it, most of them get the same answer by UncleSAM which are
    Try the following forum (about JSP technology)
    http://forum.java.sun.com/forum.jspa?forumID=45
    JavaBeans spec contains nothing about JSP, but JSP spec describes using of beans.
    i hope my question is clear so anyone who might have experience or clue with this problem might be able to help me.
    Thanks before

    finally folks, i found answer to my own problem hehehehe..
    the problem is on the compiling command (javac ... my_file.java), i found that i need to add some parameter on the command to make it works.
    This problem solved.

    Hi!
    I'm trying to compile the library(dll) in form server and getting a message that "can not open that file".At the same time able to compile 'fmb' files which is in the same directory.
    Could you please help me?
    Thank you,

    I am also working on Forte. Forte has an inbuilt Tomcat. You dont need to copy any files to any where in the file mount system. You need to specify the External / Internal Browser settings, So that when you try to execute it, the .jsp file can be displayed in the browser. I havent faced any problem as you said.

  • Error while compiling forms10g in Unix with webutil features.

    Hi,
    I developed a form called test.fmb and attached webutil.pll. change all text_io to client_text_io.
    Copied the file to unix and tried to compile, it says
    CLIENT_TEXT_IO.FILE_TYPE must be declared.
    (Please note that webutil.pll has been compiled and .plx file is generated).
    Please help.
    Thanks.

    Our Forms_90 Path is
    FORMS90_PATH=/AppsTop/FRMTOP/app/9.0.4/forms90:/AppsTop/FRMTOP/app/9.0.4/pi:/AppsTop/FRMTOP/app/9.0.4/webutil:/AppsTop/FRMTOP/app/9.0.4/webutil/forms
    I just copied webutil.pll from
    :/AppsTop/FRMTOP/app/9.0.4/webutil/forms/webutil.pll to
    my local directory C:\webutil.pll
    I attached the C:\webutil.pll under Attached Libraries in test.fmb in my own PC.
    Please advice.
    Thanks,
    Mano.

  • Error while compiling JSP file from glassfish server

    Hello, I have created a single page with only one text box using Netbeans and Visual Web Pack and deployed it on to Glassfish Build44 server. Deployed okay. But when I try to open the page I get the following error. But the same project when I create on studio creator and deploy to Sun java App Server that comes with creator, it works fine. Any help would be really useful.
    Error:
    ApplicationDispatcher[MAReports] PWC1231: Servlet.service() for servlet jsp threw exception

    I have tried 2 diff version of jdk1.5.0_06 and jdk1.5.0_12. No use. It is all running under win env. I saw couple google hits on this error. But no real solution that I could see.
    Thanks in Advance.

  • Showin error while compiling "LoadXML" File

    Error message"
    __*The CLR has been unable to transition from COM context 0x1a0150 to COM context 0x1a02c0 for 60 seconds. The thread that owns the destination context/apartment is most likely either doing a non pumping wait or processing a very long running operation without pumping Windows messages. This situation generally has a negative performance impact and may even lead to the application becoming non responsive or memory usage accumulating continually over time. To avoid this problem, all single threaded apartment (STA) threads should use pumping wait primitives (such as CoWaitForMultipleHandles) and routinely pump messages during long running operations.*__

  • File naming with sequence

    My editor requires that I name a file as in the following example:
    FI_RX_London(sequence number)
    if I try this while importing using file name with sequence, there will be a - sign in front of the number. My question, how do I remove the - sign

    In the import dialog, pick Filename-Sequence from the drop down File Naming list. (you will have done this already). Now click the drop-down list again and choose Edit. You will now see the Filename Template Editor window; remove the hyphen from the text box that shows
    {Filename>>}-{Sequence #(1)>>}. When you edit this, you will see the example just above it, reflect the change.
