Scanning issue with my bank

I used to be able to scan checks to my bank for deposit.  I now get a message that I have duplex capablility and I should check with HP.  It will not scan to my bank site.   I am able to scan other documents PDF or JPG..and save them, but working from my bank site it will not even begin to scan.  I selected Twain and USB
I have and HP 8620 All in One.  My operating system is Windows 7.

Truthfully, because all other scan functions work, the issue is not with the printer or HP Software. They only thin I can think to suggest is to contact the Banks web page support team, or the bank themselves.

    You might want to consider "voting with your feet" and taking your business to another bank.  When they tell you the upgrade is the problem, it is really their problem and not yours.  If you don't want to do that, the suggestion that you try another browser is absolutely correct.

    I am having issues with online banking with PNC and Safari 6.  Is anyone else having this problem?

    Yes.  I connected yesterday with no problem.  The problem I'm having is my checking not displaying the detail, it just says "Loading" but nothing happens.  I called PNC support, and they said that some customers were having this issue using Safari 6, but they had not found a solution.  I asked why it worked fine yesterday and all previous days, and he did not have an answer.  I have a windows PC also, and it works on it using Firefox.

  • Scanning Issue with Maverick and Office Jet Pro 8600

    Just wanted to add my voice to the numerous problem reports.  Specifically:
    1)  I could scan just fine until I upgraded to Maverick (Mac OS 10.9)
    2)  to address the problem, I downloaded the latest HP drivers for 10.9-didn't help
    3)  Tried to use the separate HP Scan application-no luck; couldn't fine the computer (even though I have been printing regularly)
    4)  Based on the HP problem solution posting (which seems a bit out of date), tried to uninstall the software and reinstall; the uninstall would not complete, although it did delete all of my printers.
    It appears that it is finally time to abandon HP for printers, if they can't keep up with Apple's releases.

    I understand you are having an issue with the scan software working with Mavericks. I can't help you with this. My suggestion is to completely remove all HP software from the computer and reinstall. Follow the instructions below to resolve the issue.
    Scrub
    Open the Applications folder > HP or Hewlett Packard folder > HP Uninstaller
    Click continue, click on one of the printers in the list.
    Hold down Control, Option and Command
    While holding the three buttons down, Click uninstall.
    Reset Printing System
    Click the Apple icon (     ), and then click  System Preferences.
    In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan  dialog box opens.
    Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
    Click OK to confirm the reset.
    Type the correct Name  and Password.
    Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
    Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
    Repair Disk Permissions (I know many of you have done this but because we have now done a scrub it is good measure to ensure non of your permissions differ)
    On the Dock, click Applications, and then click Utilities.
    Double-click Disk Utility.
    Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
    Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
    Once the repair is complete, restart the computer.
    Restart the computer.
    Now you will have a fresh start and be able to reinstall the software. Please let me know if this resolves the issue you are experiencing. If it does not, I will gladly follow up.

  • Scanning issue with HP LaserJet M1536dnf MFP

    I am getting the error messages in my windows 8 machines "The scanner is currently in use. Please wait until your previous task is completed and then try scanning again." I have a HP LaserJet M1536dnf MFP printer which is connected to the network and users connected to the network through wifi. I have installed the latest driver versions from hp.com. It will work for some time but again will face the same issue. In Windows 7 machines, there are no issues.If anybody is having solution to this problem please share.Thank you.

  • HP Utility and Scanning issues with Officejet Pro 6830

    I purchased a 6830 several weeks ago and have been using it for general wireless printing from my Mac for serveral weeks with no problems.   Today I wanted to try scanning, and for the first time brought up the "HP Utility" and noticed that it connects to the printer, but lists the supplies as "Cartidge is missing" for all the cartridges.   However, when I go to the front panel of printer and select the "ink" icon, it show that I have all cartridges installed with almost full ink.   I perform a "test print" from the printer queue and it prints it fine.   
    I removed the driver and reinstalled, and got the same results (evern with multiple reboots, and printer power resets)
    In addition, when I try to do a ether a scan to computer from the printer, or from the HP Scan utility I get a failure.  From the scan utility. Using scan to computer, I select my Mac and the process starts (and a little window pops up on my Mac for a few seconds), but eventually the printer gives a message that it lost contact with the computer.   
    Yes the "Enable Scan to Computer" box is checked, and there is a green "Scan to Computer Enabled" indicator in the HP Utility window.
    I've followed various appropriate trouble shooting guides but nothing appears to work.
    Also checked if the Printer Firmware was up to date and it was.
    When I connect using the Webinterface to the printer,  the productinformation->printer information page show that the cartidges are installed, and "ink guage" has appropriate levels.
    Also, webscan does not appear to work, although it pops up an empty pdf page, and I can hear the printer doing something (although not feeding the pages)

    HP Inkjet 4 Driver 4.2.0
    OS X : 10.10.1

    Hi,
    First of all open System Preferences and select Sharing.
    Ensure the computer name doe snot include any Non-English or special characters, click on Edit and change it if necesary.
    Next clcik the Apple icon and then About This Mac.
    Clcik on Software Update and then clcik the top Store Menu.
    Select Reload This Page and install any listed HP or Apple Updte if a such exists.
    If thwe same persists a such may also happen due to network issues...
    What exact error appears while launching a scan from the HP Scan application or from Image Capture?
    A such may allow to better understand any possible cause.
    As well try enabling wireless direct on your printer and connect the Mac to the printer:
    Click the Wireless Direct icon () and turn it on, take a note of its passcode.
    From your Mac click the WiFi icon and select the printer's network
    Note: if a such is not listed click on Join Other Network and then Show Networks, then it should be listed.
    Allow it a moment to connect and try scanning from your Mac, as well try checking the ink levels now.
    If those are working as expected, the issue may rely on your home network.
    Please clarify your router brand and model, I will do my best to guide you further.

  • GL account issue with Electronic Bank Statement

    Hi Gurus,
    I need your help and advice with the following issue. We are using ECC 6.0 and have implemented electronic bank statement. It is working fine but we havea new requirements.
    Presently all the incoming ACH (ACH in) are being posted to one GL account set- up for such payments +++++++++1. Going forward, we want to post customer incoming ACH payments to seperate GL account and all the other incoming ACH's should keep on posted to the old account +++++++++1. I do not have exposure to configuring EBS and not sure how should I configure this.
    I would really apreciate if you can guide me with step by step details to do this set-up.

    Usually ACH in or outgoing, the corresponding bank will send you a code.
    so once you get into the config item for EBS
    1. you create account symbols( ACHPAY and ACHPAY2) and assign accounts (++++1 and a debit account ++++2) respectively
    2. Create posting keys, usually this is mimicked with a Z attached to the bank code for ACH payments (EX: 675 is the BAI code for ACH, create a posting key with Z675)
    3. create rules for the same posting keys like debit and credit account symbols, doc types, what kind of postings it should post( clearing entry or posting to GL)
    4. Create a transaction type and in the following step create external transaction types (usually bank BAI codes) and map them to posting rules and the processing types
    5. finally map bank accounts to transaction types

  • Scan issues with HP Officejet Pro 8600 that worked fine!Now, I have a problem----is it Dropbox?

    Never had a problem, but now when I scan, and it goes straight to My Documents,  when I go to open it, it's been replaced by an old picture.  Every one of my darn documents has that old picture and I can 't find any of my documents.  Please help. I do not have it hardwired in.  I have reset the printer and my laptop, but this started a few months ago and I think it has to do with Drop box.  I don't know what else to do.

    I think the best place to start the Doctors office (The HP Print and Scan Doctor).  The HP Print and Scan Doctor is a free utility (tool) that helps to quickly resolve common printing, scanning and connectivity issues including but not limited to:
    Connectivity:
    USB: Verifies that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product is working correctly.
    Network: Verifies that the network connection between your computer and your network is working correctly.
    Device Status Test: Checks for device errors such as out of paper, paper jams, carriage stalls, and paper feed issues, and then provides instructions for fixing the error.
    Driver Check: Checks for missing or corrupt driver files.
    Device Manager: Checks for problems in Device Manager that would prevent printing.
    Device Online: Checks if the product has been paused or set to offline, and then sets the status back to online if necessary.
    Print Queue: Checks for and clears pending print jobs in the print queue (a log of print jobs waiting to print).
    Port Match: Checks the port settings for the HP product.
    Device Conflicts: Checks for conflicts with other drivers, such as other printer brands.
    Ink Issues: Checks the cartridges and ink levels for issues that affect print quality.
    Print Settings: Checks and adjusts the print quality settings.
    Test Print: Prints a test page for print quality evaluation, and provides options for cleaning and aligning the printhead if necessary.
    Scan Tests: Checks the scan mechanism, drivers, and registry entries.

    If that does not resolve the issue, post back and let me know if there are any symbols other than green check marks and what they are next to of course. The wrench is not always easy to spot as the wrench and the check mart are in the green circle.
    If you see only green check marks (), the tool did not find any problems.
    If you see green wrenches (), the utility identified an issue and corrected it automatically.
    If you see yellow exclamation points (), the test failed and required user action, but the step was skipped.
    If you see a red X (), follow the on-screen instructions to resolve the issue.

  • Have scanning issues with mountain lion OS

    Have two HP Officejet Pro 8600's one at home office and one at buisness office. Home office is hardwired to a imac running OS X 10.6.8, no problem with printer software can use all options even all options are available on my Macbook Pro running OS X 10.8.3.
    However, at biz office the HP 8600 is hardwired to a Dell PC. I bring my macbook pro to the office, use HP 8600 wirelessly. I do not have the "Scan to Computer" option on my HP Utility application.
    I have called HP and they tell me its Apple's issue. Also what is upsetting is that Apple sells these printers on their store but running the latest OS X is not giving me the "scan to computer" option. I need this as I use this everyday for work!
    I am looking to upgrade the imac at home but scared because my new printer probably will not work completely like I need it to.
    I don't know if this is a Apple issue or an HP issue. I will say the HP 8600's are playing nice with the PC's in my life so........

    You'd have to check with the developer of the NTFS-3G product you installed.
    But, I think you can just right-click on the preference pane in System Preferences and choose Remove.
    Note that removing it will prevent you from writing to NTFS (Windows) volumes.

    Please have a look at the our mates suggestion, and,
    i think ur trying to change with payroll past(retrospective date ). try to change with current period.
    Kind attention: while running payroll for current period for this employee, system generate /56* wage types, if you did"t maintain bank details earlier and payroll processed already in last month.
    AND Please try to observe the differance betwwen Create and change while entering data in info tyoes..

  • Issue with electronic bank statement upload

    Hi All,
              Presently I face an inssue in posting electronic bank statement upload (Tcode - ff_5).
    The scenario goes like this.
             First we do payment to vendor using 'f110' transaction.Here the document currency is different from local currency.Let us say we paid 100 EBP i.e, approximately 177 USD.
    After the payment we get statement from Bank (in this case BAI format).In the bank statement due to exchange rate difference the amount will not be exactly 177 USD but slightly different like 185 USD or may be 170 USD.
           At this point we have to upload this statement using transaction 'FF_5' to system.Here obviously the differential amount goes to the system ( 185 USD or 170 USD).
    Now the issue is we have to post this difference amount like USD 8 or USD 7 to a specific GL account ( 11800 or any other GL acc number ).
    The 'FF_5' transaction updates the tables 'FEBKO,FEBEP' by using the programs 'RFEBBU00',
    'RFEBBU10'.There is an exit also like 'FEB00001'. We can put this difference amount in one of the fields of FEBEP table by using this exit.
       But the point I don't know is how to post this difeerence amount 8 or 7 USD to a specific G/l account ? I could not locate in the above program 'RFEBBU00' where the posting happens ?

  • Full table scan issue with optional params

    I have following problem when writing PL/SQL queries for optional search conditions in the SQL statements
    for ex: if there's a select querty with 3 contions as follows
    select .......
    from
    table1 t1 join...
    teble2 t2 join
    where
    ( :param1 = -1 or t1.col1 = :param1)
    and
    ( :param2 = -1 or t2.col1 = :param2)
    this is mainly to support optional search conditions such as param1 and param2 where when any of those params are option it is passed as -1 so that condition of where clause becomes true and has no filtering.
    However once we use this way even the contion columns are indexed those are not used but full scan happens.
    if we write dynamic SQL (i.e removing condition check section totally from where clause dynamically based on the value of the param) then the query performs as usual. other option is to duplicate the same query in if ... then.. else block for different values of param1 and param2 .. in that case we would end up with huge SP..
    so what's the solution for this kind of scenario... do we have to end up with dynamic SQL (string concatanation to build the query at runtime with required conditions)
    Please help me on this. Normally what is the usual approach for such selection query since most search pages have this option to ommit several selection criterias if necessary... so it should be very common problem

    while uplaoding the EBS file i got the error message tht do not have authrorization for FB01, i was not tried to post any thing with FB01 but i understood that i this program might caled the FB01 transactin in back ground
    when i see the statemtnt in FF67 it got posted for few documents and for few it was showing that to be posted
    what is the problme i cont understand, once it says that i dont have authorization it shuld not post all the transacton,
    any one can explain the reason ond the soltuion what to do with this
