SCCM 2007 Hardware Inventory v_GS_VIRTUAL_MACHINE table missing the PhysicalHostName0 and PhysicalHostNameFullyQualifi0 Columns
Hi All,
I went to run a query in SQL Management Studio the other day and realized that the
v_GS_VIRTUAL_MACHINE table missing the PhysicalHostName0
and PhysicalHostNameFullyQualifi0 Columns.
I reviewed the Configuration.mof and SMS_def.mof files and they seem fine. The Configuration.mof file has the below in it where it should be gathering the PhysicalHostName0 and PhysicalHostNameFullyQualifi0 parameters.
// Virtual PC
#pragma namespace ("\\\\.\\root\\cimv2")
[DYNPROPS]
class Win32Reg_SMSGuestVirtualMachine
[key]
string InstanceKey;
string PhysicalHostName;
string PhysicalHostNameFullyQualified;
[DYNPROPS]
instance of Win32Reg_SMSGuestVirtualMachine
InstanceKey = "VPCKey";
[PropertyContext("local|HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Virtual Machine\\Guest\\Parameters|PhysicalHostName"),
Dynamic, Provider("RegPropProv")]
PhysicalHostName;
[PropertyContext("local|HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Virtual Machine\\Guest\\Parameters|PhysicalHostNameFullyQualified"),
Dynamic, Provider("RegPropProv")]
PhysicalHostNameFullyQualified;
[DYNPROPS]
class Win32Reg_SMSGuestVirtualMachine64
[key]
string InstanceKey;
string PhysicalHostName;
string PhysicalHostNameFullyQualified;
[DYNPROPS]
instance of Win32Reg_SMSGuestVirtualMachine64
InstanceKey = "VPCKey";
[PropertyContext("local|HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Virtual Machine\\Guest\\Parameters|PhysicalHostName"),
Dynamic, Provider("RegPropProv")]
PhysicalHostName;
[PropertyContext("local|HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Virtual Machine\\Guest\\Parameters|PhysicalHostNameFullyQualified"),
Dynamic, Provider("RegPropProv")]
PhysicalHostNameFullyQualified;
I'm not really sure what to look at next and am hoping someone else has experienced this issue before.
I have looked at other customers running SCCM 2007 and compared the Configuration.mof and SMS_def.mof files, which look pretty much the same.
Thanks in advanced.
Andrew
Are they running on virtual pc or virtual server? Notice that I said virtual pc and virtual server, not Hyper-v. In CM12 this is fix and will show the physical server when running on Hyper-v.

Sccm 2007 Hardware inventory full report fail
Dears,
I some machine issuw with H/W inventory rest are fine, below is error snapshot, could not able to resolved when google found below error code but cannot find resolution.
Error Code
Description
0x80040900
A valid WMI instance inventoried could not be added to the report. The __Path property may be undefined
[email protected]is this only happening to some machines? It appears tome that the WMI class is missing.
You may wish to do the below
1) At command prompt, run winmgmt /verifyrepository
2) If the repository is inconsistent, you should go ahead to run winmgmt /salvagerepository
3) when the above is completed, run ccmrepair in command prompt in the path c:\windows\system32\ccm

SCCM 2012 "hardware inventory classes" for AppV?
Hi, I would like to get a better view what App-V application issue we have on App-V 4.6.2 in an usercentric deployment senrio
I also see that SCCM 2012 "hardware inventory classes" "Appv Client Applications" is not set and not all is activated under "Virtual Applications".
I also would like to our support to get an better view if an user call an say it dont get an App-V 4.62 required deployment.
So what "hardware inventory classes" do I need to activate to get App-V deployment /and launch status.
/SaiTechAre you saying the class exists in SCCM 2012 for you but not applied to all of your virtual applications or that there and can't be applied or that the option isn't in SCCM for you at all?

API to Update the DISCOUNT_DATE and DISCOUNT_AMOUNT_AVAILABLE column
Hi,
I am doing one inbound interface where I needs to Update the DISCOUNT_DATE and DISCOUNT_AMOUNT_AVAILABLE column in AP_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL table for each invoice. So that the value will display in Schedule Payments tab of the invoice workbench screen.
Requesting to suggest any public/private API for this process.
Any help will be needful for me
Thanks and RegardsHi,
I have a requirement where in I have to develop a report to display bank balance chart with the following details in the output.They are :
1. Posting Date
2. Bill Discount (BD)
3. Letter of Credit(LC)
4. Cheque Amount may be cheque issued.
5. Deposits.
Above are the information which i have to display based on Posting Date range , Company Code and Bank Key present in the selection-screen.
Below are my few observations:
1. To retrieve the Bill Discount, I am first fetching the data from BKPF table by checking the document types 'DZ' ,'KZ', Company code and Posting Date Range. Then using document number,company code present in these entries along with Posting key = 39 and special GL indicator = 'W' retrieving the data like DMBTR,WRBTR from BSEG.
2. Similarly for Letter of Credit amount retrieving the data in the same way as mentioned above except special GL indicator will be 'Y'.
Now please correct me if my approach is wrong. Request you all to throw some light as I am Technical Consultant and humbly looking forward to all your help.
Also, request to let me know the logic or process how one can calculate fourth point as well as Fifth point as mentioned above.
Edited by Raghavendra Kulkarni.
I am just looking for flow of data/process flow/standard transactions through which I can see these above mentioned things which can help me in building the logic. At least a general approach to this will be appreciated highly.
Regards,
Raghavendra Kulkarni. -

Patches not visible in SCCM 2007 Site server even after approving the patches in WSUS
Hi,
The patches are not appearing in SCCM 2007 site server after approving the same patches in WSUS.
Below are the patches.
MS14-080: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer - Windows Server 2008 SP2 - IE 7 - KB3008923 [23,186.1]
MS14-018: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer - IE 11 - KB2929437 - Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 (x64) [4,32.4]
MS14-066: Vulnerability in Schannel Could Allow Remote Code Execution - Windows Server 2008 SP2 - KB2992611 (x64) - V2 [1,8.3]
MS14-038: Vulnerability in Windows Journal Could Allow Remote Code Execution - Windows Server 2008 SP2 - KB2971850 [1,8.1]
MS09-060: Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Active Template Library (ATL) ActiveX Controls for Microsoft Office Could Allow Remote Code Execution - Visio Viewer 2007 SP1/SP2 [1,8.1]
MS12-001: Vulnerability in Windows Kernel Could Allow Security Feature Bypass - Windows Server 2008 R2 Gold (x64) [1,8.1]
MS14-033: Vulnerability in Microsoft XML Core Services Could Allow Information Disclosure - Windows Server 2008 SP2 - KB2939576 [1,8.1]

MS13-014: Vulnerability in NFS Server Could Allow Denial of Service - Windows Server 2008 R2 Gold/SP1 (x64) [1,7.7]
I have approved the above patches in WSUS and ran syncronization. The log wsyncmgr.log show that synchronization is done and even all child sites are syncronized. But I am unable to find the above even in the parent site. Checked all the SUP settings and
all the 2008 server updates are set and marked to download.
Please help me out on fixing this.So you should NEVER approve anything in WSUS. This will cause problems with your clients. Honestly since you approved things in WSUS, I would uninstall WSUS and reinstall it, reinstall the SUP, this will clear up any issues that now exist.

SCCM 2007 R2 - SQL query to know the compliance status of the client machines.
Hi All,
Can some one share the SQL query that will show the compliance of a "All systems" collection in SCCM 2007 R2 for past six months. I know that it is possible to get the reports from SCCM reporting but would like to run it from database.
Rgs,In SQL queries used in the reports we have prompts and hence I wanted avoid that.
What wrong with either removing the prompts from the query or hard coding the prompt data?

Sccm 2007 wsus spk2 updated now missing FCS in products
I have a TESTLAB with SCCM 2007 that has been running fine and deploying Forefront Client Security. In SCCM under SUP I can see FCS in the products. I installed the kb2720211 WSUS SPK 2 update and things are doing fine. So I do the same thing
in production and upgrade to WSUS 3.0 SPK2. Then I saw where I need to install KB2734608 to be able to work with Windows 8 and 2012 SERVER from SCCM 2007. I only installed it in production not in TESTLAB, I guess I broke my rule there. a week or two
go by and I notice that the FCS definitions stopped gong to windows 7 clients. Only have one Windows 8.1 in testing right now. not deployed in Production yet.
Now I go trouble shooting and on the TESTLAB I can go to SUP and configure my Classification and PRODUCTS, I can still see FCS in the software update point component listed in products. I can also open WSUS in TESTLAB from Admin tools but I know not
to manage products from here. On Production I do not see FCS anymore, it shows Microsoft Client Protection and Forefront Endpoint Protection 2012 in the SUP Products. My question is do I continue to move forward with upgrading TESTLAB and production to
use Forefront Endpoint Protection which I have not read how to upgrade yet? Or can I just uninstall the KB 2734608 and fix FCS for now?Again the ONLY support report is to use the CM07 restore procedures. Will everything work after your restore? Who know as there is no way to know what the problem was/is. There
will be gotcha when you restore your CM07 site and they sometime will fix themselves and other times it is just faster to force them to work. As such, I ALWAYS recommend to my clients that if they ever have to restore their CM environment that they contact
CSS directly for support. This way CSS can ensure that the site is healthy and working correctly. There is No way to do that within the forums in any meaningful way.

Hi there,
since a few days there is on some machines (40-60) a high cpu usage on one core (quad core cpu machines) with the WMIPRSVE.EXE if the HARDWARE INVENTORY CYCLE started.
i try out some tests, read some forum articles and troubleshooting the WMI management but a real problem i doesn´t see.
in some articles i read that hardware inventory runs about minutes up to more hours but some machines runs longer, someone more as 1 day.
here an example of mine PC:
at 8:07 i started Hardware Inventory Cycle, in the InventoryAgent.log i can see that some Collection Namespace are captured.
after a few minutes there stopped and does nothing round about 5.9 hours or better, after 21436.097 Seconds.
For any hints i am grateful. :)

Looks like something in one or both of those wmi queries. it goes from 8:10:03 to 14:06:43 right around there. 6 hours to do that...
try running those queries from wbemtest manually; and see which one just never finishes.

It's a customer password protected site which uses dojo, scriptaculous and several other java scripts. It receives an array into a DIV and then copies portions of this array to the visible area. The user can change the order of the contents in the visible table.
I did a regression test today and could determine the last workable buid as the trunk firefox-3.0a2pre 2007-02-01 and the first broken build as the trunk firefox-3.0.a2pre 2007-02-02.
There is no error on console related to this. Simply the area stays
blank as if there were no data. On the page source the array is loaded but the table is empty. On the workable version, both the array and the table have content.'''bold text'''Hi people,
I'm back on the issue because I think I did not express my real need. I'm currently using Fedora 8 which was phased out 2 years ago because some old applications doesn't run on newer versions. Fedora 8 died whith ff 2.0.0.19.
Now I'm in process of migration to a newer version and discovered that one of the sites I need to access several times a month does not show a table.
As the moment to migrate is getting closer, I did a regression test since ff4 to ff2 and I discovered that the change happened on the compilation of the firefox 3.0a2pre on the date 2007-02-02.
At the end of january, 2007 there were several changes in the javascript interpreter and I don't know yet if the problem is a bug or a colateral effect of a change to follow some ECMA specification.
So, to continue the investigation, my question is:
'''Where and how can I obtain the sources for the firefox 3.0a2pre compiled in 2007-02-02 and the diff or the source for the same compiled in 2007-02-01?'''
Any tips will be very, very, very welcome! -
My organization is going through a SCCM 2012 migration and I was asked about our current SCCM 2007 Secondary Sites and when I remoted into my secondary site servers I saw that two of the three servers have multiple "SMS_SiteSystemToSiteServerConnection_<SiteCode>"
and "SMS_SiteToSiteConnection_<SiteCode>" local groups.
This just seemed quite odd and I wanted to know if anyone has dealt with this before.
Thank youThanks for your reply Eswar.
One of the SMS_SiteToSiteConnection_<SiteCode>
groups on two of my Secondary Site servers I believe are configured correctly and they both have my Primary Site Server as a member, but the
SMS_SiteSystemToSiteServerConnection_<SiteCode> group is empty. Is the
SMS_SiteSystemToSiteServerConnection_<SiteCode> group supposed to contain my Primary Site server as well? Both the SMS_SiteSystemToSiteServerConnection_<SiteCode>
and the
SMS_SiteToSiteConnection_<SiteCode> groups on my Primary Site Server have my Secondary Site Servers as members.
Is this correct?
I'm wondering now if the strange groups with the odd site codes that don't even exist were created when the secondary sites were initially being created a while back. From the documentation, it looks like the former admin initially configured the secondary
sites using a PowerShell script created by Kaido Jarvemets. According to some of the notes I have read, the admin kept uninstalling and re-installing the sites when they were not showing up in the SCCM 2007 Admin console, but apparently they simply forgot
to configure a Sender and an Address, if that makes any sense to you.
So, perhaps these groups ending with an odd Secondary Site code may have been a typo during one of the installation attempts? If this is the case, can these groups be deleted?
One thing I forgot to mention was that the Secondary Site servers belong to a Global Security AD group and that group is used to add them to both the SMS_SiteSystemToSiteServerConnection_<SiteCode
and the SMS_SiteToSiteConnection_<SiteCode>
groups on the Primary Site server.
Is this allowed?
Thanks
