SCCM: Reports not appearing in console

The Reports node in the console, which is installed on my local machine, isn't expanding to show all the ConfigMgr reports. The reports node does expand on the console on the server (just a single primary site server with SQL and SSRS). I can reproduce the
issue using an account with full administrative access.
Any ideas on how the reports node to show reports on the console on my machine?

You can also try running  ReportViewer.exe (<ConfigMgrInstallDir>\tools\ConsoleSetup again) again. Plus check the certificates.

  • Agent not installing correctly and host not appearing in console

    Hi,
I encounter troubles with agents on some servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant Update 5).
*1)* The install script doesn't run correctly. It hangs after some times
    install.log :

    11-21-2007 17:37:05> /opt/local/uce/agent//bin/.uce.rc was not found
If I install the rpm manually, the packages is successfully installed. I then just copy the .uce.rc file at the correct location.
*2)* On those servers when the agent it running, it fails to connect to the SDS with this error in the error.log :

Any idea of what could be done ?
    Best regards,
    Fred. Oger

    Hi,
Still don't know why the agent installer doesn't work correctly, but I found the reason of the host not appearing in console :
The uce.public file had to be installed in /opt/local:uce/agent/bin

  • Monitoring info not appearing in console for one of the managed server

Monitoring info not appearing in console for one of the managed server though server is running fine. It happens some times. I tried to get these info from executruntimeMBean, but that is also not returning any info for that server. The entry for that server get erased from running-managed-server.xml after some time. Any idea why?

    hi Arun,
Please find the below diagnostic module config fom the condig.xml

This configuration was present earlier also, but it looks like the logs statrted accumulating recently due to some other changes made to console. There is nothing coming under the WLDF console extension in server admin console.
Other than changing the start script, will it be fine to go the file location ./server/data/store/diagnostics/WLSDIAGNOSTIC**.DAT and delete the older file while the server is running now?
Incase not posisible , an example on the change in startscript and the config.xml will b helpful

    Hi,
I have added a report to the dashboard.
Report has Title,Table and Filter View.

The report is appearing properly when it meets the prompt condition.
When there is no data matching the prompt condition. It should show no results and filter view. But nothing is coming on the dashboard.*
I can able to see dashboard links but nothing else is coming.
I am not getting any error or warning.

    Hi,
In Compound Layout we have the option ->Other Views -> No Results View click on that and Edit the No Result view and Type what you want in Text portion.

  • Meta-Directory 5.0 console Does not appear in console 5.0.

I installed it several different ways, but the Meta console does not appear in the console. What am I doing wrong?
    -Steve

    Hi,
It's a little late to reply your question. I don't know whether you
    solve this problem.
You should create the instance of join-engine in the administation
    console first.
Then you can use the Meta console.
    Hope it helps.

  • Machines appearing on SCCM but not on FEP Console

    Hi,
I have machines that are appearing on the SCCM list but not on the FEP list. I have verified that FEP is installed and the services are started. I have also verified that SCCM is also installed and services are also started.
Can someone please guide as to what could be the issue, why can't these machines appear on the FEP list if SCCM and FEP is installed and started?
    Your assistance will be appreaciated.
    Thank you

    Hi,
Try to run an inventory on that machine and see the result.

  • SCCM report not rendering using v_Add_Remove_Programs vs. v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS

    Hi all-
I created a report to provide some installed software info using add remove programs and discovered when using the view, v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS, the query ran fine in both SSMS and in reporting console.  The problem I found is that
I was missing some records when I spot checked, like my Exchange server records listed most of the installed software but not Exchange server.  So then I substituted v_Add_Remove_Programs and the query ran fine and I was seeing instances
of Exchange Server, SQL Server, etc., that I was missing before.  But then when I attempt to run the report in the reporting console I get a 500 internal server error.  I noted case differences for the view name but that didn't make any difference.
As soon as I change the name back to the GS view it displays fine.
What's the difference between these two views and why would it run fine in SQL management studio but throw an error from SCCM?

Here's the query.  It works fine as is below from SSMS. It does not work when going through the reporting browser.  But join v_GS_Add_Remove_Programs instead of v_Add_Remove_Programs and it works from both SSMS and browser.  I replicated the
    behavior in a test lab.

  • Enabled Homepage Reports Not Appearing in "Available Sections" picklist

    Good afternoon,
I have created numerous custom homepage reports and have enabled them to be added to homepage layouts. However, when building a new homepage layout, not all of the reports that have been enabled are visible in the "Available Sections" picklist. I cannot figure out why because all of the reports are listed in the "My Homepage Custom Reports" section. Is there a limit to the number of reports that will appear in the "Available Sections" picklist?
I'm stumped on this one. Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, is there a solution or a possible reason this is happening?
    Thanks in advance!
    Ryan

when you set up the reports did you select home page in the drop down or did some of them get set a detail page reports? that would be my only suggestion.
    cheers

  • SCCM reporting not working

    Dear Support,
I'm facing issue regarding reporting on SCCM 2012 sp1. Initially we have installed SCCM and SCOM on same server so i have uninstalled the SCOM from the server but after that reporting URL was not working at all.
I'm getting below URL when I browse the URL i.e.
    http://sccm/reportserver
The report server has encountered a configuration error. (rsServerConfigurationError)
    Get Online Help
    Hakim.B Sr.System Administrator

if you don't have any custom reports, then I suggest you remove the reporting services role in ConfigMgr and reinstall it. It will take you 10 minutes to do.

  • Web based Crystal Report not appearing

    Hi
Hope this hasn't been asked before, had a look in the forum but couldn't find it specifically.
I am developing a web application with one CR in it.
VS 2010 + CR for VS installed on development machine.
The development environment is all fine, works a treat. The problems started when I tried shipping to our staging environment, and also a test area on our live server.
Our live web server is running Windows Server 2008 Web edition R2 with dotnet V4 x86 runtime installed.
After overcoming 'Type Initializer' error, 'log4net.dll' error and 'LoadReport' error on the live server, the live server now just displays a blank page.
When I had this problem on the staging server I found that this was caused by the 'aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13' folder not existing or in the right place. It works on the staging server when I'm browsing using http://localhost etc.
Things I have done to get the report working on the live server:
    1. Install CR Runtime 32bit V13
    2. Set security settings on C:\Windows\Temp to allow web user (actually set to 'Everyone' until it's all working properly) read/write access
    3. Moved  folder 'aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13' to the application folder and the www root folder (have tried in various places also)
I have to say that the report is displayed when I'm on the live web server and browse using http://localhost etc., and I can repeat the problem by moving the crystalreportviewers13 folder out of where it should be.
After getting all this done over the past 2 DAYS I believe that the problem lies with the location of the 'crystalreportviewers13' folder. Although it could be something else.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Julian

    OK, apologies. posted in haste!
It seems that the report is working, it's just the browser I was viewing it from simply doesn't display it. No idea why yet, but not too worried as all other machines I try it on, it works.
A little annoyed however at the amount of time I've wasted trying to get this working. Is it documented anywhere for instance that C:\Windows\Temp needs special privileges set up to make a web crystal report work?
Anyway, please ignore this, and the last post!
    Cheers
    Julian

  • SCCM Report not fetching the serial number.

not able to get Sl. numbers from some systems showing "To Be Filled By O.E.M" please help me what should be the problem.

    Hi,
If they show "To be filled by O.E.M" it means that the OEM that has branded those computers hasn't done their job and that the serial number in the BIOS actually is "To be filled by O.E.M" and that is why SCCM inventories that value.
To solve it, contact your supplier of that hardware and ask them to either change it for you or give you the tool/script you need to change the BIOS information yourself.
I have done that many times and normally they are very helpful.

also in SCOT AND SOST t-codes.
    Broadcasting
For an overview, see the E-Learning Maps on BI in SAP NetWeaver 2004s, http://service.sap.com (SMP login required). Information broadcasting is documented to a great detail in standard BI documentation.
If you integrate broadcasting with the SAP NetWeaver Portal, you have to implement the required settings for BI in the IMG (transaction SPRO) under "SAP Transaction SPRO/SAP Reference IMG ->SAP Customizing Implementation Guide ->SAP NetWeaver ->Business Intelligence ->Reporting-Relevant Settings ->Web-Based Settings ->Integration into Portal". • SCCM Reports Will Not Run - SQL Connection Issue

We have SCCM 2012 R2 CU2 and SQL 2012 SP1 CU6. We used to build our SCCM suites with SQL on the site server and have never had this problem that we now have on a new suite but this time we hosted SQL on its own server (SQ01) separate from the site server.
SCCM made the SQL server a component server (makes sense) and forced us to put Reporting Services on the SQL server (when trying to put it on the site server it would not find the instance-CM01, as that one has SSRS on it). The site server is ABC01. We've
already fixed a couple errors in regards to this issue.
The Reporting Services installed on SQ01 fine. When you go to reports in admin console it loads the 419 default SCCM reports just fine. But none of them will run properly. They open up but a popup appears with this error in the error details popup:
"An error has occurred during report processing....AbortedException: An error has occurred during report processing...ReportProcessingException: Cannot create a connection to data source AutoGen__(many numbers). System exception..."
If you go to SQ01, open Reporting Services Config Mgr, connect to instance SC01, click the URL under Report Manager URL, it prompts you for a logon (but should not do so) and you can log in with the service account selected when the Reporting services were
installed in SCCM Admin Console, drill down into ConfigMgr_ABC, click on the default created data source named {bunch of numbers}, and herein there are two more problems....1) it doesn't save the pwd for the service account, when clicking test connection we
often have to reenter it, and 2) the ConnectionString has this entry for Source="ABC01.fqdn/CM01" but it will never connect with that. If we change it to just "CM01" and it is currently holding the pwd, it will test connect successfully
but after just a few minutes it won't because something has reset the connection to "ABC01.fqdn/CM01" and forgotten the pwd. It is apparent that something is overwriting the settings in a way SQL currently doesn't like.
Also, we have an alias within SQL in this format "SQ01.fqn/CM01" when SQL already has a "CM01" alias. This seems to be a problem too.
    Any input appreciated.
    Ben JohnsonWY

OK, I'm duly web-embarrassed. Apparently due to some firewall blockage, my Admin Console on my workstation (which is in a different VLAN from these servers), could not save the changed Reporting Services configs to SQL. When we made the changes using the
Admin Console on ABC01, it all started working.

  • April 2015 Release KB2952664 Not Appearing in SCCM

I've withheld deploying previous versions of KB2952664 since it initial release after seeing multiple reports of troubles and failed installs. It's now at version 7 and I haven't seen any similar troubles with the latest release, however I'm
now noticing that it is not appearing in the SCCM console as an available update.  I've looked into the WSUS console on the server but am only finding the declined versions prior to the April 14 2015 release. Has anybody else seen this and what has
been done to get it available in SCCM?

The Windows Emulators require a physical machine that runs Windows 8.1 (x64) Professional edition or higher, and a processor that supports Client Hyper-V and Second Level Address Translation (SLAT). The emulators will not run when Visual Studio is installed
    in a Virtual Machine (VM).
The emulators for Universal Windows app development work best with Windows 10.
