SCENARIO CREATION IN INTEGRATION SCENARIO

hi
I have one sender and two receivers. I am creating integration scenario in repository. in integration scenario creation i have to create three swim lanes or
two swim lanes? can i add both receivers in one swim lane? and how will i made
connection between sender and both receivers?
can any one please help me?
thanks&regards
venkat

Hi Venky,
I guess you will be sending the same data to both receivers.
So you do not have to use 3 swim lanes. Create only 2 swim lane.
1. One for Sender
2. Second one for Receiver (no need to think here for 2 receivers, think it when you do receiver determination)
Now, Making a connection will be very easy, just select the ACTION of Sender and Receiver and right click and say create connections.
For creating and working with integration scenario just go through the below link:

  • IDoc creation in Integration Process ...

    Hello guys,
I have a question for you. Is it possible to create Integration Process with one loop that will generate and send one specific IDoc every 5 minutes. I've created new process and I put new loop between Start and Stop marks. The loop has condition "true = true" and it contains a Wait (waiting interval is 5 minutes) and Send step. How could I configure parameters of the Send step? I want the Send step to create new IDoc (IDoc type will be still same and its content also) and send it to a receiver (receiver will be also still same). Where can I specify the IDoc type and IDoc's content?
    Regards,
    Zbynek

    Hi,
You can check the Idoc status using the transactions WE02 OR WE05.
When the Inbound Idoc is created then the status will be 64(IDoc ready to be transferred to application) then after you process the Idoc then the status will change to 53(Application document posted).
    Thanks,
    Srinivas

  • Concept of Integrated Consolidation Unit of SEM BCS

    HI Experts,
I'm now in the SEM BCS 4.0 and BW 3.5 implementation. Previously I was the ECCS specialist and before the FI and AM specialist.
Now I'm in SEM BCS implementation.
I have one question in connection to the integrated consolidation unit. As the reference, I take the concept of this using the ECCS.
As you might know, the creation of integrated consolidation unit for using realtime update method in ECCS, is pulled from FI company ID.
Meanings if I set the configuration properly, I can pull out the company master data as the consolidation unit master data in consolidation monitor.
Now, in SEM BCS, I want to do the same thing. I mean, off course I can create company ID in R/3 and then create the consolidation unit manually using UCWB. But this scenario can create inconsistency, and I also think this is not the right concept of doing integration between R/3 and SEM BCS.
My question is : what is the concept of this master data integration, and what is the proper way to do it?
Any advise on this question is highly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.
    regards,
    Halim

    Hi Halim,
You need to build properly your data basis in data model.
Assign your company to a consolidation unit role:

  • The userexit is not working in integration scenario- inb. delivery creation

    Hi Experts please help,
We know that vl31n is for inbound delivery creation.
in one of the userexits of vl31n, I did code ( shifting the batch to vendor batch )...
So,the user enters batch number under batch field and
fill all other required information and saves to create inbound delivery.
Whilw inbound delivery creation my coding in user exit gets executed and shifts the batch number to Vendor batch field.
This we observed when we check in vl32n or vl33n, the batch entered shifted to Vendor batch field() batch field is space.
This is working fine with vl31n inb. delivery creation.
But in integration testing it failed.
In Integration, what is happening the other system called "ICH" is creating ASN (shipping note) with the batch number, which inturn created the inbound delivery in R/3 via XI as shown like below.
    Integration scenario :
ICH System (ASN)   --> XI -->  R/3 System (Inb. delivery creation)
So when "ICH" triggers ASN to R/3 the inbound delivery creation is happening but the batch number is not shifting to vendor batch field.
when we open the inbound delivery in vl32n, the batch number is under batch field only...it should be under vendor batch field.
My understanding is my user exit coding of vl31n not getting executed in the integration process.
Kindly help me what can I do to shift the batch sending from ICH to shift to vendor batch field.
Please let me know if I could not explain the scenario.
    THANKS IN advance.
YOUR HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

the ASN from ICH, it uses a standard idoc function module IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1 and there is one user exit EXIT_SAPLV55K_012 which calls ZXTRKU07
    need to code there.
solved by meetings with some other experts.
    THANKS.

  • Doubt in Integration Scenario Creation

    Hi All,
My scenario is file to Idoc.Need to create a Integration Scenario. I have stored all the Interface and Mapping objects in teh same Software Component Version (say SWCA). So in Integration Scenario, What will be the Sender and Receiver Software Components. Will SWCA act as both Sender and Receiver or I need ot select SAPR3 for Receiver System.
And will teh actions be external or internal?

    Hi,
the SCV is just a compnenet where you will design all the objects, under Integration scenario you will assign the sender and receiver communciation points in integration directory.
Actions are indicating as the triggering points for sender and receiver interface. If you will be using outside the SCV then it will external and for internal purpose have to select as internal
Please refer step by step process for IODC to file as well as file to IDOC

  • PO from SRM to supplier via PI 7.1

    Hello Experts,
I have a scenario where I need to send PO request from SRM to PI 7.1 via proxy and then from PI 7.1 to third party supplier via HTTP port.
I have imported all the ESR objects from market place and are available in my ESR. Many scenarios are there with many Integration process, actions and all.
Now I am confused which one to use from the above available scenarios during the creation of integration scenario in ID. Since my scenario only needs to send PO create, change and cancellation request.
    Please suggest,
if I have use Service_Procurement_SupplierEnablement from ESR
or I have create manually the configuration with only oubound interface Send_PurchaseOrder_out.
    I appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Madan Agrawal

    Madan,
If  I am not mistaken then EBP (Enterprise Buyer Professional) is nothing but a part of SRM and SUS (Supplier Self Service) is for the supplier.

  • Difference between SOA and B1ISN

    Hi all,
Can anybody tell  me what is the difference between SOA and B1ISN ???
    Thanks

    Hi,
SOA, and more specifically eSOA, is a common service-oriented architecture / platform for SAP products.  Partners can build business applications in .NET based around and on top of this new architecture for SAP Business One and other SAP / 3-rd party applications (one of the samples provided shows integration between SAP Business One and Outlook).  You can find more information about eSOA [here|https://websmp108.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700001387112008E].
B1iSN is SAP's existing integration solution for integrating data between SAP Business One and SAP R/3.  It is built on top of SAP's B1iP technology.  Users can either develop custom content / scenarios by using the core B1iSN solution, or can develop totally new and distinct solutions using B1iP.  You can find most information about B1iP in this forum.
In a more general sense, the answer to your question is that eSOA is a platform / architecture which allows the creation of integration solutions, while B1iSN is an existing solution built on top of B1iP.

  • Value mapping with BPM

    Hi Experts
How to do value mapping with BPM.
I tried searching for blogs in SDN but i didnt get any solution
    Regards
    Sowmya

    Hi,
Your question is not very clear. Let me know how you want to use Value mapping?
You can implement value mapping in two ways..
    1. Value Mapping Replecation Method, in which we create ABAP program (outbound proxy) in R3 which selects data from R3 tables and sends into XI, and which get stored in XI JAVA Cache untill you run the ABAP program next time which is very rare. This kind of method is best when you have large amount of R3 data.
    2. If you have some data which is used just to varify the conditions at run time then in that case we go for Value Mapping creation in Integration Directiory. Below mentiond blog will give an idea how to use Value mapping in ID.
    /people/community.user/blog/2007/01/08/valuemapping-using-the-graphical-mapping-tool
Value Mapping is used in Graphical Mapping which gives the value at run time only, so you cannot test it in TEST Tab of message mapping.
So as per you question, BPM can come into picture later on after you maintain the value mapping in ID and do the corresponding mapping in IR.

    Sarvesh

  • Mac os

I am considering a mac mini and have had a windows computer all of my life so i am wondering a few things about the mac software itself:
Ive read about no viruses, can i still browse the web with my cable connection? and if so how does it not have any viruses some kind of firewall?
also ive read that mac is simpler to use which sounds appealing to me, what makes it simpler than windows?
sorry if my questions seem a little newbish but thats exactly what i am a newb looking into mac
    thanks
    matt

Matt, There's another important factor in the question of why macs are more secure than PCs that so far hasn't been touched on - that while Windows is a proprietary operating system which Microsoft guards very carefully, MacOS is based on an open source version of UNIX that has been the subject of extensive examination and development by a wide community of programmers. The result is that it's been tested and tested in a public environment with no commercial pressure directing development.
The result is that where Windows is fundamentally weak, MacOS is not. The argument that market share plays a part is perhaps true, but since viruses have been written for small-market devices in the past, it's not necessarily a significant factor. Instead, what I'd tend to suggest is that many people who write viruses have a particular dislike of the Microsoft culture, and target Windows as a result. It's largely true that to hit MacOS, a virus (or spyware application or Trojan) would generally need to be granted administrative rights in order to run, but if malware authors really wanted to target MacOS it wouldn't be too hard to tag a bit of harful code onto legitimate downloads or into apparently legitimate web sites and have the user grant authorization for the malware without knowing it's there.
Macs are basically plug and play on the internet. Take it out of the box, plug it into a home network or phone line, switch on and get going. Everything about the Mac and MacOS is designed for ease of use and simplicity of design. In the end, the phrase that is often (rightly) used to describe the experience is 'it just works'. It's rarely necessary to mess with a Mac, just unpack it, connect it, switch it on and use it. After a little bit of time adjusting to the differences between Windows and MacOS, most people can't believe how complex Windows seems and yet that it doesn't do anything that the Mac can't do.
The Mac mini comes with an application called AppleWorks, which many people here tend to ignore, but which is a very powerfull multifunction application capable of extensive use. It opens most MS Office files and can save into formats used by MS Office. It's easy to use and facilitates creation and integration of text, graphics, drawings, data and spreadsheets using simple tools and methods. There's no shortage of alternative applications (including Mac versions of MS Office products) but AppleWorks is a good place to start! While Macs don't have floppy discs to exchange files with PCs, Macs and PCs can share the same network and data can be moved easily and seamlessly between them, or by use of almost any type of removable media.
There are people here who have previously been as hardened PC users as your family, and who are now fully converted to their Macs - there's a very good reason for that!!

  • SAP Netweaver XI / PI with ABAP or Basis?

I have good knowledge in SAP Netweaver XI abd PI several versions, now i would like to upgrade myself , which would be best option? ABAP or BASIS? , i dont have any idea about both, please guide me....which would be a better career for me to go with....
    1.Worked on XI 3.0, PI 7.0, PI 7.01, PI 7.02, PI 7.1, PI 7.11,PI 7.3 SAP Netweaver versions
2.Experienced in configuring System landscape directory,Enterprise service repository, integration directory, runtime work bench, Netweaver Administrator, message monitoring, component monitoring.
    3.Worked on SDM GUI, SAP GUI,Visual Administrator,Config tool,Deploy tool,JSPM and telnet
4.Good in channel ,agreements and determination creation and integrating components
5.Worked with various transport protocols like HTTP,TCP,FTP,MLLP,MQ series and File.
    6.Work with different Adapters
7.Worked in different OS like windows,unix,linux,hp-unix,solaris.
    Dont have knowledge in following
    1.Mapping
    2.ABAP
    3.Basis

I would suggest to educate yourself with SAP BPM and BRM. These are one of the interesting areas in the integration related tasks of SAP and those will change the way how to work with SAP integrations in future. This is already reality with SAP PI 7.3 and 7.31. When you are familiar with BRM, BPM you can learn eSOA of SAP.
However if you must select either ABAP or Basis, It depends the solution where you want to focus. If you want to focus NetWeaver platform and specially solutions like SAP PI, MDM etc. then learn Basis. If you want to work with SAP ERP learn ABAP.

Your Oracle Doc links are really very helpful. i would definitely go through these docs to get familiar with BPEL, But i have only one week to understand this part of technology.
So would request for any Live Example or How to's for Sample BPEL app creation and integration part of that. I would definitely read these document but i need some fast overview on these processes practically.
Can you please suggest me such things.
Thank you very much to both of you for your very quick and very helpful effort. :)

  • Production version with status " locked for any use" being considered

    Dear All,
while creating integration model for PDS , materials with production version locked for any use are being considered. Can any body put some light on it.
My requirement is that in creation of integration model it should not take production version which are locked for use.
    Regards
    Arun Negi

Check OSS Note 854561 - PDS does not recognize any locked production version in R/3
    "Symptom
If a production version is locked in the R/3 System, this change is not transferred to the related production data structure (PDS) in APO. The PDS is therefore still used as a source in APO in the plan explosion. This causes errors during planning and results in terminations when an order is converted and subsequently transferred to the R/3 system."

  • Which Adobe product is most suitable for sketches?

I want to add color, texture and realism to my A4 size paper sketches . Which is the most suitable product for this process?

    Welcome to the forum, Thomas!
The best application depends in part on what you ultimately want to do with your sketches.
For example, Adobe Illustrator uses vectors as the building blocks of its files. Vectors can be enlarged a lot and still look crisp and clear:
On the other hand, Adobe Photoshop mostly uses rasters as the building blocks of its files. If you enlarge a raster file too much, it can look unpleasantly jaggy:
For more on the difference between vectors and rasters, see the short explanation at http://www.adobe.com/designcenter-archive/keyconcepts/articles/concept_raster.html
To see how Von Glitschka, a professional artist, combines Photoshop and Illustrator to add texture and color to his sketches, go to http://vector.tutsplus.com/articles/interviews/interview-with-von-glitschka/ and scroll down to the question "You use textures in some of your artworks. I know that creation of raster textures is your passion. Tell us a little bit about the process of their creation and integration into vector artwork?"
