Scene 2 moves immediatley to scene 3 after animation is finished in 2.

You appear to have your images mislabeled. Scene 2 is shown as the first, and I don't see anything in it that would cause it to stop there, so it would move right into scene 3 from its last frame.

The latest version of CS6 is 11.0.4 - do you have that? (The latest version of AE is 13.2.0.49, in case anyone was wondering).

Trying to convert a windows WMV movie clip so that Adobe After Effects can read, as the Mac OSX version of After Effects does not like WMV.
Any help appreciated.
Maxi'm with the Captain's answer, Flip4Mac's Windows Media Components will allow you to work with the files directly in AE or other QT compliant application
but whilst the free player version will allow you to view the files, you'll need to pony up for at least the Player Pro version if you intend to transcode to another format (otherwise the copy will have a Flip4Mac watermark) -
Are there any plans to move the "Math Check" to AFTER the O.K. BUTTON is pushed on STEP AND REPEAT?
One of my pet peeves is that I have to clear all the fields in the STEP AND REPEAT dialouge box before I can begin entering information. I have been patiently waiting for this bug to be fixed. I am beginning to wonder if Adobe is even aware of the bug? It drives me nuts to no end!!! I am sure it is responsible for several points in my blood pressure reading on given days. I'll have an object selected that I need to step 7 times and I'll bring up the Step and Repeat dialouge box. I'll enter 7 in the COUNT field. InDesign will in some cases immediately flag the operation as not possible because there are numbers in the other two fields that I haven't had a chance to edit yet that will cause the step and repeat operation to go off the pasteboard. It makes me MAD because it changes my 7 back to a 1 and I have to go and put in the correct values for the VERTICAL and HORIZONTAL offset fields and then I have to go back up to the COUNT field and re-enter my 7. All of this and I haven't even hit the O.K. button yet!!! Can someone at Adobe pleeeeeeaaaaaase inform the programmers of this glitch and have them move the MATH CHECK to AFTER THE O.K. BUTTON is clicked! I wouldn't mind the message if the figures I entered were incorrect and I had hit the O.K. button. But it drives me absolutely insane when it starts trying to correct me before I've even finished entering my values!
Am I the only one?
I would love to hear from anyone else out there that gets frustrated from this. If for no other reason then to let me know I haven't completely lost my sanity yet.

RandyO.K. Peter. I did go and file a report. I couldn't bring myself though to call it a feature request because I clearly believe it is a bug. A co-worker of mine and I had a long discussion about it. He argued your side of things suggesting that the program was working as the programmers intended for it to be and because of that I couldn't call it a bug. But, I contend that the program IS NOT working as the programmers intended for it to be because if you look at the OBJECT > TRANSFORM > MOVE item in InDesign it also brings up a dialogue box. This dialogue box also has a PREVIEW check box on it. If the PREVIEW check box is checked then it immediately evaluates the numbers as you enter them into the various fields. And if you enter an invalid number it will immediately present the error message. However, if the PREVIEW check box is left unchecked then it waits until you press the O.K. Button before evaluating the numbers and executing the move. The STEP AND REPEAT dialogue box should behave the same way but it doesn't. It behaves as if the PREVIEW check box is checked whether it is or not. So that is a BUG in my humble opinion.
Thanks for your help in pointing me to the correct form. I'm usually so busy working that I never have time to look that kind of stuff up.

I compare the same page on MS internet explorer and have no problem.

Using the PrintScreen-before-and-after-each-action method seems a
little better for me. Either method requires way too much editing
for a simple "let me show you" movie. I have moved on to version 3
since it seems to behave a little better.
I think it is odd how sometimes Captivate puts an action
(like a mouse click) on a background from *two* slides previous.
Why would it ever go backward - especially skipping over the
previous slide to get an even older screen. If I have forced a
screen capture, you would think it would stay with that.
I realize that I am not using Captivate where its strengths
seem to be (eLearning) but there must be a lot of people capturing
demos of web-based material. Does everyone have this

Movie rentals disappear several days after transferring to iPad.
I'm having a repeating problem where I rent iTunes movies on my laptop and then transfer them to my iPad but the movies disappear from the iPad after several days. They do not reappear on my laptop, nor do they show as expired. They are literally just gone without warning. This is always inside the 30 day rental period and without opening them. I'm aware of the 24-hour rule and that is not the problem. They literally just vanish.
iTunes customer service has been good about restoring credits to my account for missing movies, but they are clueless as to why it is happening. I am running the latest OS versions on my laptop (mid 2012 Mac Book Pro) and iPad 2. Everything is up to date.
The first time this happened it was curiousity; now that it's happened multiple times I am DONE with iTunes rentals until there is a solution. The tipping point was when the customer service person emailed me and suggested I use the fee-based support system to work directly with an Apple tech specialist.
Really? Are you suggesting that I should PAY YOU to fix a broken system just so to once again have the opportunity to PAY YOU to watch movies? I don't think so...
I'm a die hard Apple user/owner but the suggestion that I pay them to find a software bug...just so I then can give them more money (in the form of rentals)...ridiculous. That's what's called "adding insult to injury."
I really would like to see this resolved, but I'm switching to Amazon rentals in the mean time.

After every sequence finish execution in a client sequence file, i want to check the status of every step in that sequence. Based on the status, say i want to do something. Currently i am having a subsequence that gets called at the end of every sequence. I was wondering whether i could move this subsequence into some callbacks so that i don't have to call explicitly in every sequence.

There is a way, using the SequenceFilePostStep callback. This will execute for every step, but you can use a Flow Control 'If' to Check for PropertyExists("Parameters.Result.TS.SequenceCall"); when true, the step results for the sequence call will be in Parameters.Result.TS.SequenceCall.ResultList.
Note this will only execute for steps that occur in the sequence file that contains the SequenceFilePostStep callback.

I have a question regarding my txt/alert tones. I recently updated my iPhone 5's software without first backing it up on iCloud or my computer (oops). After my phone finished updating, i lost the new ringtones and txt/alert tones i had bought. I connected my iPhone to my computer and sync'd it hoping that it could download my purchases from the itunes store and then put them back on to my phone but no such luck. When i look at my iphone on my computer and look at tones, they do not show up at all. However, if i click on the "On This iPhone" tab and click on "Tones" the deleted ringtones and altert tones show up...they are just grey'd out and have a dotted circle to the left of them. I also tried to go to the iTunes store on my phone and redownload them and it tells me that i have already purchased this ringtone and asks me if i want to buy it again. I press Cancel. I know when i do that with music it would usually let me redownload the song without buying it again but it wont let me with the ringtones...so how do i get them back? any help would be greatly appreicated

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

I rented a movie off of iTunes for my iPhone 5. My 24 hours are up but it is still trying to download the movie in my store downloads. It will finish downloading and say error and start over. How do I fix this?

my new iphone 5 is frozen, with the cord to computer symbol on the screen after failing to finish updating to ios 7. iTunes no longer sees the phone. I've tried rebooting the computer, rebooting the iPhone, but iTunes still doesn't see the iPhone.
If your computer doesn't see the phone when you plug it in, you may have to take it to an Apple Store.

The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like app, music and videos. Thus, you wll have to resync those back to your iPod.

Link to DPS article after animation has played?
Hi,
Is it possible to link to a DPS article using a trigger command (or after a delay, or anything similar) without the need for a second click once an animation has finished?
Currently I have a short animation that will play when pressed and I would like it to link to another article once it has reached the end of the timeline or a specific label. The animation itself works fine and the DPS link does work but will not go to the specified article unless there is another press by the user at the end.
I have tried linking to the article using both 'complete' in the default timeline and trigger actions, to no avail...
Any ideas?

Made a JPEG of the magazine cover and imported to Edge and made it dissolve in after the title animation.
This gives the illusion that it goes to the cover page.
Was hoping for a generic topper that wouldn't need updating each month. -

Hey, so I'm trying to build a website full of these flipping
movieclips that flip when you mouse-over them, and flip back when
you mouse out. Problem is, if you mouse out before the flip
animation has finished, the flipped side stays up, and you have to
return the cursor over the mc and mouse-out again. I am using
Jumpeye Components' MCTE V3 as well as the Flip pattern for this,
in AS2, but I think this is an AS thing not a MCTE problem. I've
attached the flipping code for one of the movie clips.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Additional information
During the update to from IOS 7.02 to 7.03 the update process stopped and asked to restore the iPhone
The restore deleted all data on my phone. Yes restore means delete all data including your photos.
My backup did not work so now running IOS 7.03 with the "Finishing Sync" issue on iTunes
Please let me know how to solve this issue
