Schedular to call OrderService at configured intervals in OSB?

HI All,
I am new to OSB, I have requirement of calling the exposed web service(Order service) at configured intervals in OSB.
Can you suggest best way. any related example blog.

you could use quartz to implement this in java, or use dbms jobs to schedule calls, enough ways

after you are done with the configuration--
Ge the config id for the given application from this table. And depending on the user get an entry from this table and display accordingly.

I get this error message when calling into an unassigned number which redirects to a response group:

26005; reason="The Response Group application was unable to transfer the call to the configured destination and no fallback exists."
Interestingly "To user URI: 0220198611;phone-context=DefaultProfile" is the number off the caller not the destination. I wonder is this a bug? So is the response group trying to transfer to this number and failing because of course it doesnt exist?
As you can see the below the number I am calling is not 0220198611:
From phone number: 0220198611;phone-context=DefaultProfile
To phone number: +6493760053 From mediation server: onzlyncfe1.domain.co.nz To mediation server: From gateway: 192.168.100.70
To gateway:
Disconnected by: +6493760053
Does the calling party's number have to be normalised? If so how can I do this because the global normailisation rules dont seem to apply
in this situation. These rules do work when when calling into a users DDI.
Also to be clear....
+6493760053 is an unassigned number which is setup to redirect to a response group.
If I assign +6493760053 to a user then it works.
Additionally this works perfectly when the gateway sends the call to our legacy 2007r2 mediation server then on to Lync. If the gateway sends the call directly to the co-located Lync mediation server I get the error described.
I hope I make sense. If you are confused let me know :)

Kindly advise how you transfered the unassigned numbers to a specific user, i used the below command but it failled, the message displayed but the call never routed:

I am new to the configurator. I am working on the following requirement.
From the Standard guided sales ui ( OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/cz/runtime/oa/webui/pages/CZMainPage) we have to call the (OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/cz/runtime/oa/webui/pages/BOMUIPrimaryPage) when user will click a custom button.
I have created the custom button using configurator extension which is using the java class.
Issue - I need to know how to call the OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/cz/runtime/oa/webui/pages/BOMUIPrimaryPage page from the java class.
If any one is having sample code please pass it to me.

You would then have to parse the request information to determine what is being asked for and generate an appropriate response.

Photoshop scripting calls from Adobe Configurator panels

Can javascritpt functions executing from an HTML element inside a panel affect the photoshop scene? I know it can using the scripting toolkit, but I'm trying to do this in the Adobe Configurator. In Configurator I created a new panel with an HTML panel and a button inside it that executes a javascript function on click "createDocument". When I bring this into photoshop, I can load the panel and click on the button, but I never get a new document created. If I uncomment the "alert" line, reexport the plugin, and click on the button, I get the alert, but still don't get a new document.

I've tried other functions like creating layers, but still don't see anything happening in photoshop affecting the UI. It's even more frustrating that I don't see any kind of error message that is happening. My conclusions seem to imply this panel can't call the photoshop files for some reason (running in a different VM, wrong namespace, etc.). Has anyone been able to make photoshop scripting calls from inside a configurator panel?

Lync 2013 Call Quality Reporting Time Intervals

Does anyone know the time interval used to report the metrics associated with the Lync 2013 call quality reports? If so, is there documentation that confirms that?
For example, Max Packet Loss Rate gives you a percentage. However, I haven't found any documentation that says how long a sample period is. Was that Max Packet Loss rate experienced for, at least, 1 second, 5 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 mintue etc?
I haven't found any conclusive information regarding how long of a period they may have experienced that max packet loss number, nor at what point during the call.

The network health is expressed by the number of poor audio streams, where a poor stream is defined as having a packet loss rate over 1 percent and a maximum packet loss rate over 5 percent.

SOAP synchronous channel specific call time out configuration

Hi,
This is regarding channel specific timeout configuration in SOAP sender and receiver channel.
We are having SOAP to Proxy synchronous web services. One of the web service is taking longer to execute the RFC's in ECC and getting the results back to PI.
The error we are getting is Message Expired in soap ui and PI logs.
When I checked the execution time it says 301165 ms from soap ui.
The default setting of XI is 180000 ms i.e 3 mins.
I configured channel specific time out in both sender and receiver channels. Now the configuration has timeout of 600000 ms. Below is the screen shot.

But still the message is getting timed out and below is the error:
Unable to contact target server XXXXXXXX:8000 after 1 tries.
Below is the error log from PI :
Please suggest the solution. I am not sure whether its actually taking the specific configured time.

Slow JDBC calls with wrong configured DNS

We recently found out that a wrong configured DNS Server can cause oracle JDBC Clients to react extremly slow. (1 second per simple sql statment)
We have found also that if the DNS server is disabled on server side (8.1.7.1 Oracle, Redhat 6.2 server) the system responds with normal speed.
It seems for us that Reverse lookups are done for any SQL Statement sent from the client and not only for the first connection.
Does anybody know how to disable this Reverse DNS-Lookups on Server side because this may also cause a slowdown if the DNS-Server is correctly configured or all clients are defined in /etc/hosts.

Problem in configuring certificates in OSB

Hallo
I'm trying to configure a client certificate for a HTTPS Post call from OSB.
I've got the certificate file (.pfx) and I've got the key for it.
I defined a business service with protocol HTTP and post method, and I've enabled the security for it with "Client Certificate" option.
Can someone help me in understanding how the configuration should be made for this?
Do I need to create a Service Key Provider?
Which are the steps to follow?

First of all thanks for your help!
I've tried to do the following:
1. using OpenSSL, I exported the .pfx file to a .pem file
2. using Java Key tool I imported the .pem file in a new .jks file
Then I checked in the .pem file to retrieve, in addition to the root certificate, the Identity Certificate and the Intermediate Certificate.
But I can't find the in my file.
The .pem file that has been generated at step #1 contains only the Private Key and the Root Certificate.
Does this means that my .pfx original file has something wrong?

Issue while configuring cache management -/osb/service/ResultCache

Hello, I am trying to configure cache data management through OEM console of 12.1.0.2 version . While executing a coherance select query, I am getting below error message
"Error occurs while executing the "view" operation. CacheDataManager custom MBean is not registered with the Oracle Coherence JMX Server during startup. The custom MBean is available with the coherenceEMIntg.jar."
I have even included these jar files in my coherance server startup parameters ..

Configuring Retry in OSB Buisness service

Hi All
I have to invoke a web service protected with username password digest security. I have a requirement of retrying this web service in case of fault 3 times with some delay.
The problem is when i configure retry application errors to Yes and specify the retry count as 2 with a 2 second delay. I get and error on second invocations as duplicate nonce (Since it retries the same message and the backed web service complains that the same nonce is being sent again)
Currently i am routing to this service and hence this cannot be put in a loop of (i would have to change this to service callout). Also there is no wait activity in OSB.
What options do i have? Please help. Thanks

The problem is not with retrying, its with retrying a password digest protected web service. The problem is that during retrial, OSB does not generate the nonce again (in SOAP header) and rather retires the same soap message again. The backend service throws an error that a duplicate nonce is being sent.

Need to call Web Services in a periodic manner from BizTalk at specific intervals? Does BizTalk have the Timer functionality to schedule?

In BizTalk Send port, we have an option to enable service window but it works if we need to make a call with in a specific period. My requirement is, For instance to make a call at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 02:00 PM, 04:00 PM like that.
Is there a way to implement this in Orchestrations or through any windows schedulers? Also, need to consider the performance as well.
Please shed some light on this. Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

Your requirement is not of multiple schedule “service windows”, it’s of multiple schedule “service trigger” when you can send the message. Service windows would specify “between” a specific time window like between 1 AM and 2 AM or 9:00 AM and 12 AM. But
your requirement is send the messages at a specific time.
You can design this trigger for BizTalk to come using a schedule task to create a triggering file at the scheduled times so that it would trigger BizTalk and its artifacts (a send port) to send a message.
Or my options would be create WMI script (or powershell or any script) which would start the send port and another script to stop the send port - when it’s called/triggered. Configure a schedule task to run the “start” script so that during send port can
be started and after few minute call another schedule task which would call the “stop”-script which would stop the send ports. – Simple isn’t it

I want to a call a secure web service from CC&B through out bound message. I have configured the calling WSDL in XAI Sender. The wevservice is secured one.I tried to call it by configuring user name and password in XAI sender context.But still i am not able to call the service.
Can anybody help me how to over come this issue ??

Are you getting any errors? What type of XAI Class are you using?
One thing I've noticed is that if you are making changes to the XAI Sender you will have to restart the environment before the changes can take effect.
Also, if you are using RTHTTPSNDR as XAI Class you may have to include the HTTP Method - Post in the context.

Call forward to VM not working

Hi All;
we have switched from TDM to SIP trunk. after that call forward to voicemail and also automated attendant don't work. then I changed VM pilot number to full number instead of 6000. still when inbound call is received, and called party doesn't answer the call, it is supposed to forward to VM but call is failed. also when somebody calls to main number, it is supposed forward to AA, but call is failed. very appreciate, if there is any suggestion.

The problem is that Unity sees the forward call as "forward" actually is not a problem is the normal behavior. What we need to do is to Unity see the call as "Direct" configuring Routing Rules resolve the problem
