SCORM import to LMS fails

I get an error when trying to import a SCORM package created
by Captivate 3 into my Kallidus LMS. Anyone seen something like
this? The Kallidus LMS uses a "content import wizard", and it seems
to load almost everything, but at the end cuts out with an "import
error" and the log entry below.
I've been poking around the LMS for solutions, but it seems
the Captivate 3 output may be the problem because I can bring a
TechSmith Camtasia SCO into the LMS just fine. It's just the
Captivate output that's a problem.
Any thoughts?

Hi Andy and welcome to the forums.
Based on the vague error message, there's no way to know
what's really wrong.
Any chance you can compare the Camtasia manifest file and the
Captivate file and see if you can spot any differences?

Import from iphoto fails every time.

It should not be a serious flaw, since this something that you only do ONCE. You don't want to use both organizer and iphoto. You'll have two sets of photos with no knowledge of each other. Import from iphoto is not meant to be a regular use item, only for the one time after you've decided organizer is what you prefer. It's fine to make a small test catalog while you decide whether iphoto or organizer suits you better, but to keep on using both is going to make you crazy in short order.

Import to QA fails

Hi Guys,
We have enhance the Standard ESS/MSS applications. The activation and check-in into development system went on successfully. The assembly step was also successful, but suprisingly the import to QA failed.
The logs give out the following error message. Suprising that it is stopped eploying at Per_Address_AU/Per_Addr DC. The DCs before that got deployed appropriately. After thsi failed the import paused. Please see the compelte error message below.

Application with same name not possible with the same application aliases - context root. You need to define different application aliases for the application to work properly.

Zfs-import-cache.service fails on startup

I have been using zfs for a couple of days now.
It's only for storage purposes, not for root system.
I installed it, and enabled zfs.target for startup, but since a couple of reboots ago, I noticed zfs-import-cache.service fails resulting in sometimes, the pool not getting mounted.

You need to create a script in /etc/zfs/zed.d/ - see the zed man page.
Use the existing scripts in that dir for examples (e.g. scrub.finish-email.sh).
The existing scripts use /etc/zfs/zed.d/zed.rc; in that you need to set “ZED_EMAIL” to the email address to mail to in order to make the existing mailer scripts do something. Your script could instead hard code the email address.

If you look at zfs.target et al, you'll see they already use Require/After/Before to order things. Xi0N's problem is not the ordering, but that the kernel module hasn't always created the zfs device when systemd runs the .service.
I use ZFS as my root, and the zfs hook runscript has a similar wait in it - so for me the zfs device exists by the time systemd runs the .service.
I don't know if your problem is the slowness of the zfs kernel modules or something else. My first port of call would be to check the journal for errors.

Utils import config command failed on CUCM8.6.1

I've created cucm861sub.flp file and uploaded it to the datastore on ESXi 4.1, then mapped to the floppy, i.e. I followed procedure on cisco wiki to the last letter. Still, after applying command I'm receiving following error: "Cannot locate configuration file"
I've used Winimage to crate 1.44MB floppy that contains only one file, called platformConfig.xml (file was downloaded directly from CCO).
Was anybody able to apply successfully new identity feature?

I opened a TAC case and found this is a bug. CSCtx55507 :utils import config" is failing.
these are the call manager versions that has the fix for this issue: 8.6(2.10000.30), 8.6(1.98000.87), 8.6(1.98000.39) or any later version.

SQL Server Import Export Wizard fails while trying to retrieve the data from FastObjects Database

When trying to import data from FastObjects database to SQL Server 2008 R2 using import/ export wizard we get the following error message :

Does the issue persists after you use the "Write a query to specify the data to transfer" option instead of “Copy data from one or more tables or views” option? If so, the issue may occur due to incorrect data type matching between the FastObjects database
data types and SSIS data types. In this condition, I don’t think it is necessary to upgrade the SQL Server version. Since you can open the Column Mappings dialog box, please try to modify the data type mapping manually.
In addition, the issue seems to be the same as the issue described in the following blog:

Import of taxonomy failed

Hi
I have two taxonomies in a development system which I should have transported to production.
I have been exporting the first taxonomy, downloaded the .xml and .dtd files locally from dev and uploaded them in production - ~system/Taxonomies/Import/MyFolder1. And from here imported the the first taxonomy - this is working.
But when performing the same steps for the second taxonomy the import does not work - the import report says:

LMS 3.2 DFM Import of Devices Failed

My name is Ashley. I have recently installed LMS 3.2. Everything is working fine, CM, CS,HUM, RME,IPM. However, I am not able to import devices from DCR to DFM.
On Auto Allocation Window, I get the following error:

Could you please help, I am running out of ideas.

If the problem persists after a full server reboot, then you are probably not seeing this bug. Post the NMSROOT/objects/smarts/local/logs/DFM.log and DFM1.log as well as the brcontrol output after the full reboot.

Export to LMS fails from Mac

I have a project publishing to ComplianceWire, a Scorm 1.2 compatible Windows-based LMS.
When published as Scorm 1.2 from Windows, it imports to the LMS and works fine. The same project published with the same settings from Mac fails to import, causing server IO errors with "bad characters in path" messages.
Our testing tells us it is not our assets, but Captivate's Mac publishing which is the problem.
We are a Mac shop, so obviously a serious blow to productivity, not to mention that it means I have to maintain a Captivate for Windows installation, which means that I can't have Creative Cloud on my MacBook. This is a bad deal all the way around.

Not sure if my problem was similar.
My problem was pdf report used to display 5 pages on end users comp and 2 pages on mine.
Problem was with Acrobat reders page size setting. I changed it through the reporting application and problem was solved. I dont know how and where to change settings in Acrobat reader.

Adobe Captivate course import to LMS issue

Hi,
Want to know the which LMS (SCORM) does captivate is compatible with.
My LMS is OpenElms and supports SCORM 2004 and when I publish course and import to OpenElms, it does import., But when I use it a dialog box appears saying that cannot find Xpath.... bla bla
Want to know if it is compatible with Open Elms ?
