Can we create a screen variant on our own screen dialog program ?

Go to tcode SHD0 and create the screen variant.
then use in the program
data scvariant like shdsvci-scvariant.
call function 'RS_HDSYS_SET_SC_VARIANT'
exporting

DYNPRO =
scvariant = scvariant
overwrite_scvariant = 'X'.

Just mention like below in your ABAP report.
PARAMETERS: p_aufnr TYPE aufnr MEMORY ID ord.
and mention the same memory ID name in the module pool screen property it automatically populates the value to and fro

Reset Screen field in dialog program

Hi,
I have four inputs fields in my dialog program, i select based on f4 value and insert into table. Once i press save, the fourth
input field must be automatically reset to blank.So that i again input some value and save.
How to achieve this?

Selection screen dialog programming

I have used a selection screen in the dialog programming.
I have written some code in the at selection screen to display the output on a table control in another screen 1001.
my problem is that when i try to enter the multiple values for material ,
it goes to the at selection screen and displays the output again.
if i write the code in start of selection instead of at selection screen
it doesnt give any output at all.
how do i correct this error?

How to print the output of the screen in Dialog Programming

Hi,
Could anybody help how to print the output of a screen in the dialog programming. i can select 'Hard Copy' option in the 'Custumizing of Local Layout' Icon in the standard tool bar. but that prints the whole screen with the toolbar. i want to print only the output which is displayed on the screen. Please help..

Ok. Do One thing. Go to menu bar and select Systems -> Own pool Request -> here you get the spool number. Select it and select the option "Print Directly" in tool bar.

Active E-mail address on the Dialog program Screen

Hello all,
I am displaying an E-mail address on the screen of a dialog program. The requirement is to open the Outlook addressing the Mail-id clicked. Is there any event driving this functionality or any FM to explicitly achieve this?
Eg. [url]xyz @ abc. com[url].--> When this is clicked the Outlook mail editor should open. Similar to the Microsoft Word, if an E-mail address is clicked, 'mailto:' command will be executed.
Please help me in this regard.

You mean a Safari shortcut to her log in page on the web, I assume.
Launch Safari and navigate to her log in page for her email. Then tap the arrow to the left of the URL field and select - Add to Home Screen. Name it as you see fit in the next window and tap the blue Add button.

Screen variant not working when assigned to transaction variant in SHd0

Dear All,
User requires tax code column for line items in MIRO to be made non-editable. I am using SHD0 transaction for the same. I am able to make the column grey-off by creating screen variant. The program is SAPLMR1M and screen number 6310. When tested individually thru SHD0 the variant is working perfect. But it is not working when assigned to a transaction variant. Any clues on the same would be really helpful.

Hi,
Try to record again for the whole set of screens instead of doing that for the individual tax screen and only for the tax screen make the required field disable.
Once done and saved, you can see all the screens variants in the transaction variant.
Use the Change WITH PROCESSING OPTION.

Select-Options in dialog program

I'm using a selection-screen in a dialog program, I declared it in the TOP.
Selection-screens
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 101 AS SUBSCREEN.
parameters: p_lifnr type lfa1-lifnr obligatory ,
p_werks type t001w-werks obligatory .
SELECT-OPTIONS:
s_licha FOR zbrtconsig-licha.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 101.
I have to use the event at selection-screen on value-request for s_licha-low, and I need the values from the fields p_lifnr and p_werks. the problem is:
If I only fill the fields p_lifnr, p_werks and click on F4 for s_licha, the values of p_lifnr and p_werks are not updated, they are empty. Only wether I do an Enter this fields is updated.

i am not clear about your problem, please expalin it clearly.
use FM : DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE to update screen fields.
use FM : DYNP_VALUES_READ to read screen fields.
use SET /GET Parameter id's to set parameters
this FM will update the screen fields before to PBO event.

ALV Grid Dialog Program Variant Problem

Hi Gurus-
Please help!!! I got the following problem-
The ALV dialog screen will have fields with display options as well as a number of fields as input options (editable). Based on user inputs in the input fields and other displayed fields, the user selects "Process"/F8 and it calls the BAPI_MATERIAL_EDIT functions to update material.
The problem is, I want to use variants in the input fields (Maybe REUSE_ALV_VARIANT_F4) when I select a variant it loops through the selected rows and fills out the input fields with the values stored in the variant. I want to use sample ALV grid program such as BCALV*.
The question is, can I use variants in ALV grid dialog program and if yes, how do I define variants to loop through and fill out the values in the input/editable fields on the ALV grid?
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Rep points for sure!

How to create a variant for a program without selection screen

Hi All,
I've created one program which takes the data from 30 tables and loads into one final table.
This program is already moved to Production.
But while creating variant it's not allowing, since the program doesn't have the selection screen.
Is there anyway where I can create a variant in production without selection screen directly as the program code is already moved to production.

Welcome to SDN!!!!
SAP does automatic data transfer when u have the variable defined in the Program and same variable(name) being used in any number of screens in the same program.
U donot want to worry abt Data Transfers!!!
