Script Language Translation - Very Common Question, but unable to resolve !

Hi Gurus,
I know this is very common question, but I am stuck, unable to get this one resolved.
Need to translate sap script "TEXT SYMBOLS" from "English" to "French".
Have maintained language translation text symbol values in table TTDTG.
But when i login through French language, these are still getting printed in English !!
Any Pointers to resolve this will be of great help.
Many Thanks,
Madan

hi
1) Copy the Script into FR language and then change the Corresponding ENGLISH text to FRENCH text.
2) Pass ur logon langauge   in the OPEN_FORM FM  Import parameters
                                                                                LANGUAGE = sy-langu.
so that whatever is ur logon langauge it corresponding Form will be called.

  • Possibly a very basic question but I have set up a spread sheet in Numbers and have viewed help videos but I can't get it to give me sums for the columns I highlight.  Keeps coming up with the figure zero.  I have version 09 2.3(554). Can anyone help

    Possibly a very basic question but I am going nowhere without a solution.  I have set up a spreadsheet in Numbers but it won't give me sums for chosen columns. I  have viewed the run through videos and used the formula but nothing happens apart from giving a figure of zero or a red arrow.  The sum icon in the bottom left hand section of the window does not highlight or show any total as I understand from the video that you can drag whatever total is here onto the relevent position on your spreadsheet.  I have Numbers 09 version 2.3 (554). Can anyone advise. Thanks.

    Hi Sohojools,
    To sum a column, use a formula such as this one in Cell A6
    Type this in a cell below your data:
    =SUM(A2:A4) or whatever range of cells you want to sum. The easy way is to type:
    =SUM(
    and then drag or shift-click to select the range of cells. Close the formula with a final bracket ")".
    The sum icon in the bottom left hand section of the window does not highlight or show any total
    To see the sum (and other simple statistics) in the bottom left, select a range of cells. That tells Numbers which cells you are refering to.
    The videos are good, but the Numbers'09 User guide, and the Formulas and Functions User Guide are better. Download them from the Help Menu in Numbers.
    Regards,
    Ian.

  • Script - language translation

    Hi all,
      what is the differnce between script language translation which is done in transaction se63 and
    in the translation se71.
    <u><b>se63 -language transalation method</b></u>
    se63 --> translation --> r/3enterprise --> other longtexts --> forms and styles.
    <u>
    <b>se71 - language translation method.</b></u>
    se71 -> ulitilites -->copy form client --
    is there any particular difference is there?
    thanks in advance.
    regards
    vinoth.

    <b>se63 -language transalation method</b>
    translate the text from one language to another
    <b>se71 - language translation method.</b>
    to copy the form from one client to another client. here it wont allow u to tranlate the text.

    Ok, fair enough.  But since Job's death - Apple's control on leaks has been terrible.  I got the new iPhone, and I like it - but it hasn't made nearly as big as an impression as previous ones.  Because of the vast ammount of leaks.  With the iPad mini leaks, it's 99% sure to come out next week.
    Apple uses many manufacturers and it's massive also websites prefer to report on Apple whether true or false because it brings more hits.
    Amd by "others" I meant other people on iPads - not other devices/manufacturers.  It's possible to do so, I just want to know how.  I honestly don't think we'll ever be in a Post-PC era until all tablets allow us to use USB in the way computers do.
    No, USB is not the future, you missed the memo about cloud and wireless computing?

  • Common question but, i have a 2012 macbook pro which is running very slow.

    I dont have multipule apps/programs running at the same time so it cant be that, my hard drive still has 400gb spare on it, I'm constantly cleaning my memory with Memory keeper, which does help but surely thats not what i have to do all the time. I notice on other peoples macbooks that they have alot more apps in there dock or in launchpad yet they dont have have the speed issues i have. I've retsored the macbook back to factory settings alot as this seems to be the only to get it back up to speed but thats a real pain.
    Any help will be appricated but PLEASE explain it in simple terms as im no expert and when people start saying to run commands, type into terminal etc. it just confuses me and therefore will be no help to me.
    Thanks

    No its not Mackeeper its called Memory cleaner, it gave a display showing how much memory was being used and then let you clean it. Could this have been the problem? I've just a factory restore (again!) but ive not put that back on.

  • I know it is a silly question But unable to get HelloWorldServlet to work!

              Hello Everybody,
              I've downloaded the weblogic server today and thought of testing it with HelloWorld servlet. I made directory structure and copied under mydomain/applications/
              So finally my directory structure is mydomain/applications/myWebAPP/WEB-INF/classes/examples/servlets/HelloWorldServlet.class.

    In developement, it is working fine.
    How to Transport this to Quality environment.

    Hi Colleague,
    You can follow below steps to add your translation SAPscript into transport request:
    1. Go to se71, input your form name and the language is 'RU' (Russian).
    2. Click change button
    3.Go to Form->Active in screen header.
    Then a dialog pops up to ask you save in a TR. Then you can add it in your TR.
    Hope it helps.

  • I know this is a common question - but is there a way to connect a USB pen drive to the iPad? (See details)

    Basically, I just bought a Nexus 7 after growing impatient waiting for the iPad mini.  But the Nexus has a fault, and I'm taking it back next week.  I'm wondering whether to get my money back, or just get another - because it's a pretty good device!
    My major big thing about it, is that I can plug a USB pen drive into it with a OTG cable and either just stream pictures, documents or movies - or save them to the Nexus for viewing without a dangly wire to annoy me.  It's great!  However, being an Apple fan - an iPad mini (if it comes out!) would be simpler, because it would sync to iCloud etc.  whereas obviously my Nexus 7 doesn't do this at all.  The only iCloud factor I can access is my mail.  Which isn't a problem, just a prefference.
    So, with current iPads - is there a way, without jailbraking the device, to say stream movies to the device through a USB pen drive/external HDD, and save them to the iPad?
    I've seen ways on YouTube but thought it was best to ask here.
    If this was possible, I'd swap the Nexus for the iPad mini straight away - the Nexus 7 is fantastic!  No problem with it, if it wasn't for iCloud, I'd keep that.
    Oh, and as a closing question on the iPad mini/Apple Maps - the Nexus 7 lets you download offline maps, and also you have a GPS which is used even when not on wifi - do you think this will be likely on an iPad mini? I can't see it myself.
    It's a sad day for me, when I start to think Google may still have the upperhand on 7" tablets, even after the iPad mini is released.  I might even wait for the Second generation (if it exists!) - just because I for some reason never like first generation things from Apple.
    But anyway, that's a lot of questions and info!
    Thanks in advance!

  • Very random question, but important

    I've bought a new MacBook Pro to take on an upcoming deployment overseas. Needless to say its going to be quite dusty there, and its an extremely fine dust, almost like powder. It gets everywhere. I'm going to buy a pelican case for storage when I'm not using it, but want to do everything I can to make sure it is well protected while I am using it....
    Do you think it would be safe and/or a good idea to cover the ports and the DVD slot with electrical tape while I am using the MBP to help keep the dust out? Would electrical tape over the slot interfere with an already inserted disk? My instinct is that it would not affect the MBP, but I thought I'd ask around.

    I doubt it will cause any issues. However it would probably be better to copy/RIP the disks you want to use rather than having them spin in a dusty environment- the lens comes very close to the disk and dust can cause scratches in both the lens and the disk. You'll never keep it all out.
    The biggest dust trap is going to be the keyboard. There are several keyboard cover options that I'd consider- just do a google search.

  • VERY basic question but I haven't found a good example...

    I've been trying to figure out how to make one big project using class files to break the big project down into several small projects. I can't seem to find a good explanation of how to make one class file recognize another.
    Hell, I'll even throw in a Duke Dollar because I know this should be totally obvious to me...

    Hi. Well yes this is quite simple, but we all have our problems :) Breaking down a program into classes is very good for security reasons and productivity. All that you should do is take all of your MAJOR "methods" and place them in a class file by itself :
    public class MyMethods
    (your methods)
    Then in your MAIN class you just use those class files as objects :
    public class MyMainClass extends MyMethods
    public static void main(String args[])
    MyMethods.MyMethod();
    and just keep doing that. Normally in java you have a main class file like the one i just showed u and one or several other class files that contain all of your methods that makes your program run. You just use your class files as objects which is a big thing that Java is about, "object oriented programming", but of course u must extend the class, as I showed. Extending makes everything that you have in that class file , "come" into that file.
    Hope that helps, I need that 1 duke dollar :)

  • Very simple question - but cant find anything to do this! (other than a full proxy server)

    Simple one for everyone who has kids... I run a wrt54gs, v1.50.9 wireless network in my house. I have 2 teenage kids both with laptops...
    I'd like to be able to see what sites they're browsing (ie firewall logs) - but without installing something like 'netnanny ' on each laptop (there apears to be a log setup on the router but doesnt record anything let alone outgoing traffic)
    I know I can bar sites through the setup...but does anyone know of any app that will record from the router, who's looked at what site?,,,so I know (quietly!) what they're looking at?
    Cheers.

    Why not ask in the Flash or Actionscript forum; this is the Flash Player forum.

  • Very stupid question, but i need answer

    how do i delete music from my ipod >.<
    plz answer

    How you delete content from your iPod depends how you have it set to update:
    If you are updating automatically then delete the files from the iTunes library and next time you connect they will automatically be deleted from your iPod.
    If you are updating manually, connect your iPod and click on the icon when it shows in the iTunes source list. Find the files on your iPod that you want to remove, highlight them and delete directly.
    To select multiple items such as all the songs in an album, click on the first track in the list hold down the shift key and click on the last track to highlight the selection. Then press the delete key.
    To summarise, you start by highlighting the song/video/selection in either the iTunes library or on the iPod song list as displayed in iTunes then press the delete key on your keyboard: Deleting songs or playlists from your iPod
    There are also a couple of ways that do not involved deleting from iTunes. The default iPod setting is automatically update with iTunes when connected. You can keep the automatically update setting and select "automatically update selected playlists only" then all you need to do is remove the song from the chosen playlist(s) and update, it remains in your library should you want to add it in future.
    Another way but more difficult to manage is to choose the "Only update checked songs" option in the iPod Preferences. By un-checking a song in iTunes, it will not be updated to the iPod and if already on the iPod, unchecking the song in iTunes will remove it from the iPod during the next update with iTunes.

  • Very very simple question but..

    public class zhen {
    public static void main(String[] args)
    String yourname;
    yourname=Console.readLine("Please enter your name.");
    System.out.println("Hello,"+yourname);
    copy from the corejava book, but its not work, i feel strange. also, corejava book said that need to import corejava.*; but i copy and run it in jcreator, so i remove the import corejava.*.
    Who can help me? it is too simple and embrass me.

    I am not familiar with the corejava book, but here is an example that will work without any extra libraries, and will probably be more help to you in the long run.
    import java.io.*;
    public class Test
        public static void main(String[] args)
             try {
                 BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
                 System.out.print("Please enter your name:");
                 String yourname = br.readLine();
                 System.out.println("Hello," + yourname);
             } catch(Exception e) {
                 e.printStackTrace();
    }Here's a link to an I/O tutorial that should also help:

  • TS2972 apple tv can't sign in to iTunes Store until the network time has been set. this is an Apple generated message. what does it mean? how can i fix it? very very very simple questions but there is no reasonable answer from Apple anywhere on the intern

    this is an apple generated message. simple!
    what does it mean? so far no one at apple has a clue.
    how do i fix it? nothing even begins to address this issue so far. generalities about system setup show a lack of respect for customers. yes my system is plugged in and i have reset and rebooted and rechecked everything. i need help because this a real problem that needs a real solution, not more platitudes.
    help please, not more wasting of my time. i have spent an entire afternoon on this already.

    this is exactly the kind of response i expected, almost begged support to please not do this to me and yet there it is another meaningless, non helpful, standard template response to restart my apple tv.
    this does NOT work which is why i am contacting you. i have tried all suggestions about unplugging and restarting and nothing works.
    i live in an apartment and logon to the provided wifi wireless. so i do not have access to a router. however, management says they have talked with their provider and have been assured that the required ports are available.
    remember all the jokes about how bad windows was because the solution was always to re boot. funny huh? how is apple any different.
    i have been to the local apple care store and they are clueless, too.
    should we just end it here and you admit that i will not be getting any support from apple on this one? i got the ipad because my kids were such big fans. it is difficult for me to share their enthusiasm.
    at this point i am just curious about how you say you cannot support your own product so i can complete my file on this contact.
    thanks...sorry it was you who got this problem..
