Script to Analyze multiple schemas at same time

Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a script by which I can analyze (estimate 25%) multiple schemas (In Oracle 9i Database) at same time. I know we can use dbms_utility but do not know, how to use for multiple schemas (around 60 schemas). I appreciate your cooperation.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sanjeev

Hi Syed,
Thanks for response,
can u tell me how I can analyze multiple schema by using dbms_stats at same time. I would appriciate if you can send any script for me for same.
Thanks,
Sanjeev

    Hi
    There are as many options for that
    You can go for
    1)MASS t code
    2) LSMW  (by recording)
    3)BDC (by recording)
    and the most easiest way is by doing the MASS tcode
    goto MASS and enter the object type as BUS2032
    execute now select the sales order haeader data and execute and now enter the sales doc from and to range and execute now all the sales dox will be displayed
    and from the menu click on select fields  and select the terms of payment
    now select the terms of payment row and enter the new values  and click on carry out new changes

  • Triggering a sub work flow for multiple users at same time.

    I have a scenario in which I have created sub workflow as an activity for approval process. This sub work flow should be triggered for multiple users at the same time and their decison is independent of each other.
    This is like creating multipe instance of the same sub work flow and then the sub work flow runs indepedently as a new work flow for each of the approver and the process is completeded for approver independently.
    How can this be achieved?

    Tyr to do like this,
    1. First include the subworkflow in the main workflow template.
    2. Now include standard Block Step in the main workflow template.
    3. In the block select the block type as ParForEach.
    4. Before doing the 3rd point make sure that all the agents for whom you want whom you want to initiate the workflow, populate them in a Multiline conatiner element.
    5. Once completing 3rd and 4th points open the block step under the tab ParallelProcessing  assign the multiline container element name in the   for e;g if the multi line container element name is COSTCENTER then do the binding like below. the conatiner element COSTCENTERLINE is created by default once you include the multi line conatiner element under parller processing tab.
    &COSTCENTER[&_WF_PARFOREACH_INDEX&]&   -------->     &_COSTCENTER_LINE&
    Now assign the agent of the subworkflow as COSTCENTERLINE , imean if suppose you have 3 entries in the internal table then three separate and for three different agents the workflow is instantiated.

  • Editing multiple clips at same time

    Hi, I am attempting to edit a project that, among other things, has multiple subtitles. So each subtitle that appears on the screen is its own seperate clip. If I want to make an edit to all of the clips of subtitles at the same time (for example, to add drop shadow) is there a way i can do this without having to edit each clip individually?
    As well, I am trying to put 1.85:1 aspect ratio on the project. I was able to put widescreen (1.67:1) on the entire project at the same time, but have been unable to figure out a way to make alterations to the entire project at the same time. Again, would I have to go through every clip and change the widescreen ratio, or is there an easier way?
    Thanks in advance! noah

    thats not really the way it works
    what you'd do is edit within the nest ... just double click the nest 'clip' and it opens up in its own timeline
    an alternative is to add a cropped color matte on an upper video track to give you the letterbox, or you could build a widescreen matte in photoshop and drop that on an upper track (or you can download my letterbox generator from David Slaters http://www.proapptips.com/ site, you'll need to register first then go to the MyDownloads section)

    Unable to scan multiple pictures at the same time on the glass flatbed & have saved into individual jpg files. Scans all the pics as one - one file. For jpgs under Advanced Settings - file tab. Checked but greyed out - create a separate file for each scanned image. I need to scan many pictures & I don't want to do them individually

    Hi Dhpakid,
    From the HP Officejet Pro 8620 software click on Scan a Document or Photo.
    Set the Scan Size as "Entire Scanner Glass".
    Change the Scan Sourse into "Flatbed Glass".
    Click the Advanced Settings button, Check the Auto-Crop option (if it is grayed out change the scan type into Photo) and click OK.
    Click the scan button and complete the scan, it will be cropped automatically into multiple files.

  • A way to connect multiple drives at same time?

    Are there any current products or soon to be released products that will allow me to place multiple bare drives into an enclosure and connect the enclosure via thunderbolt so all of the drives will be accessible at the same time on a Mac? I have a Macpro and have multiple drives in it and am trying to find a way to also do this with a new iMac.
    Thanks.

    The Elite Pro Dual + Thunderbolt Adapter

    So it might work for you.

  • Save required when adding record to avoid multiple record entries@same time

    Hello, just wondering if anyone would be so kind as to help me out. I have a small problem that when a user is adding records to my form I want them to add one, then if they go on to add another at the same time (before commiting the first one) that they will be shown a prompt Which states something along the lines of "Before you add another record you must first save the first record, do you wish to do so" , yes will then commit the first record and allow the user to enter the second record, whilst cancel will not allow a second record to be entered.
    If anyone would helpout i would be very grateful.

    Hi
    Here is my suggestion, the idea is to use a global variable to memorize the fact that a record has been created :
    KEY-CREREC
    begin
              if :GLOBAL.<BLOCK-NAME>RECORDCREATED = 'FALSE' then
                   create_record;
                   :GLOBAL.<BLOCK-NAME>RECORDCREATED := 'TRUE';
              else
                   message('Commit or delete before inserting a new record');
                   message('Commit or delete before inserting a new record');
              end if;
    end;
    =====================================================================
    KEY-DELREC
    begin
         if :system.record_status in ('NEW','INSERT') then
              :GLOBAL.<BLOCK-NAME>RECORDCREATED := 'FALSE';
         end if;
         delete_record;
    end;
    ====================================================================
    KEY-COMMIT
    begin
         commit_form;
         :GLOBAL.<BLOCK-NAME>RECORDCREATED := 'FALSE';
    end;
    ====================================================================
    POST-SELECT
    :GLOBAL.<BLOCK-NAME>RECORDCREATED := 'FALSE';
    ====================================================================
    It's a bit more complicated if you allow the user to go beyond the last record for creating a new record, as KEY-CREREC and KEY-DELREC are not triggered.
    In this case, my suggestion is the following :
    KEY-CREREC
    begin
              if :GLOBAL.<BLOCK-NAME>RECORDCREATED = 'FALSE' then
                   if :system.last_record = 'TRUE'then
                        next_record;
                   else
                        create_record;
                        :GLOBAL.<BLOCK-NAME>RECORDCREATED := 'TRUE';
                   end if;
              else
                   message('Commit or delete before inserting a new record');
                   message('Commit or delete before inserting a new record');
              end if;
    end;
    ===============================================================
    WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE
    begin
         if :system.mode = 'NORMAL' then
              if :system.record_status = 'NEW' and :system.last_record = 'TRUE' then
                   if :GLOBAL.<BLOCK-NAME>RECORDCREATED = 'TRUE' then
                        message('Commit or delete before inserting a new record');
                        message('Commit or delete before inserting a new record');
                        delete_record;
                   end if;
              end if;
         end if;
    end;
    ================================================================
    KEY-DELREC
    begin
         if :system.record_status in ('NEW','INSERT') then
              :GLOBAL.<BLOCK-NAME>RECORDCREATED := 'FALSE';
         end if;
         delete_record;
    end;
    =================================================================
    KEY-COMMIT
    begin
         commit_form;

  • It is possible to have a dynamic Oracle Label Security procedure/script to configure data label (compartments and data label)  for multiple rows at same time?

  • InDesign CS3 Scripting XML Import Multiple Images into same Text Frame

    I am having trouble importing multiple images into the same Text Frame using XML import. I imported 5 images into the text frame. However, all 5 images are laying on top of one another. Does anyone know if there is a way to have all images laying out like how Microsoft Word handles inline images, i.e., laying out next image to the right of previsous image in the same line and if there is not enough space left in the line, then wrap to next line. Thanks in advance. I understand I could use JavaScript to do post import processing, e.g, calculate the image size and place each images accordingly. But I am trying to see whether there is a way to do this without scripts.

    You can apply an object style to all anchored images by script. A text frame containing main flow should be selected.
    var doc = app.activeDocument;
    var textFrame =  app.selection[0];
    var rectangles = textFrame.texts[0].rectangles;
    if (rectangles.length > 0) {
         for (var i=0; i < rectangles.length; i++) {
              rectangles[i].appliedObjectStyle = doc.objectStyles.item("Cover");
    However, there is a better approach:
    Step 1
    Create place holders for a single "Book" element and format it as needed -- apply an object style to the cover.
    Step 2
    Import the xml file -- the placeholders are replaced with data from the 1st xml element
    Step 3
    Drag & drop the element containing all "Books" elements into the main flow -- all elements are placed and formatted the same way as in step 1.
    Finally, add a new page, click the overset text icon and autoflow text to add pages so that to fit all the text.
    Hope this helps.

  • Multiple Schemas with same Workbooks

    Hello
    I have a problem with discoverer. I have 1 database instance with 1 discoverer instance. In the database are 15 comparable schemas (development, test, produktiv 1-13). For me it's not possible to let the same workbook (or make change of schema-owner) run on different schema_tables.
    I have all time to new design the workbook for each schema.
    In the SQL-Inspector i can see the statement that i connect every time to the same schema-table but i cound't change the schema.
    Also the SQL*export and import doesn't function well because i lose the layout for the workbook.
    One solution is to revoke the access from discoverer-administrator for the the table (who i have designer the workbook) and open the workbook. Then there are some screen to redefine all items within my workbook (there are more then 30). But to do this for 10 Workbooks multiply with 15 schemas. this is a very hard work and is near that to design from new for each.
    Martin

    Hi,
    Well, you could have one workbook that worked with all the schemas, by creating a view that was a union all of the underlying tables from the different schemas, then use a context in the view to select the schema that you want use in your report.
    Assuming that you want to create a set of workbooks for each schema, then you can get Discoverer to change the mapping in the workbook to a new folder by changing the EUL timestamp located in the EUL5_VERSION table.
    Basically, when a workbook is open I think it goes a workflow similar to this to determine the mapping to the EUL items:
    1. If the EUL timestamp in the workbook is the same as in the EUL then it selects the items using the id held in the workbook.
    2. If the EUL timestamp is different or the item is not found using the id, then it uses the developer key in the workbook to select the item.
    3. If the item is still not found then it uses the item name and folder name in the workbook to retrieve the item from the EUL.
    So, if you have a workbook wb1 using folder f1 which is mapped to a table in schema s1 then you can try this workflow to create workbook wb2 pointing to schema s2 by:
    1. Create a f2 folder mapping to S2.
    2. Change the developer key in f1 to be a new key DK2.
    3. Connect as Desktop/Plus and open the workbook wb1 and save as wb2.
    4. Change the developer key in f1 back to the original key and the developer key in f2 to the new key DK2.
    5. Change the EUL timestamp.
    6. Open the workbook wb2 and save, it should now be pointing at folder f2 and schema S2.
    7. Open the workbook wb1 and save, it should still be pointing to S1.

  • Bash function/script to execute multiple commands on same output

    Occasionally, I come across the need to pass the output of a single command to multiple others (without piping each to the next), so today, I wrote a [very] simple Bash script to accomplish the task.  Piping the output of a command to `tree' is much like piping it to `tee', except `tree' allows you to execute multiple commands on the same output, rather than only writing to log files:
    #!/bin/bash
    # tree -- pipes the output of one command to >= 1 other
    # Usage: command | tree 'command 1' 'command 2'
    doc=$( cat - )
    for arg in "$@"; do
    bash -c "${arg}" <<EOF
    ${doc}
    EOF
    done
    An example of its usage:
    $ echo -e "1 2 3\n4 5 6" | tree 'grep 1' 'grep 4' "grep 1 | tee grep.log | awk '{print \$2}'"
    1 2 3
    4 5 6
    2
    $ cat grep.log
    1 2 3
    Though not elaborate, the script gets the job done.

  • Drill-down to multiple columns at same time

    Hello,
    Is it possible to simultaneously drill down to multiple columns on the same level with one click? I have several attributes that the user will want to see together at all times, so I want to be able to drill from level1 to level2a,2b, and 2c with one click.
    Thanks,
    Elliot

    This drilling down to all the levels may not be available with the OBIEE drill level based hierarchy feature OOTB but as an alternative you can try this at you DB level to create a hierarchy within you data using START WITH and CONNECT BY PRIOR to generate the parent->child levels hierarchy within the view instead of creating multiple hierarchical columns.
    Or may be you can try to create separate columns in a table for each hierarchy level. That table could either be in the database or be a logical one in the repository. For example:
    Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Description
    1 2A 3A
    1 2A 3B
    1 2B 3A
    1 2B 3B
    etc
    You then create separate reports for each level, so one report has only level1 in it for this dimension, another report has levels 1 an 2 and a third report has levels 1, 2 and 3 etc.
    In each report you put an action link on the levels' cells so that if you click on them you drill up or down by displaying a new report with either less or more level columns.
    Hope this helps. Pls mark if it does.
    Thanks,

  • Job with Multiple Schedule of same time & only one is executed, Why

    Hi ALL,
    I've Created a package to notify report in email  as excel, which is using a path to render report and save it as excel.
    This package was need to be schedule every first day of month and on every Friday even at morning 7 AM.
    So logically these are two events.
    But if we see on 1 May 2015 we have Friday and plus first day of month
    So technically this should fail.
    either for IO operation for render &
    storing data over same location with same file name.
    To replicate this i created two three schedule
    Below is the job history, job is invoked by only one schedule
    Question-
    1) Why one one schedule execute?
    2) why "sched2" only , it could be "sched3" only or "DentalOperationStackAndRank-Sched1" Only?
    Another this i result into error if different job executing same package at same schedule.
    FYI- package is deployed at database level
    HS

    Hi HS,
    As described in this
    article, more than one job can run on the same schedule, and more than one schedule can apply to the same job.
    And I make a test about your scenario, when configuring a SQL Server job with three schedules that reference same dates and times, my job behaves as yours that only one schedule is executed, but the job is invoked by schedule2 or schedule 3 in my environment.
    It is a normal behavior of SQL Server job in my opinion. For more details about such scenario, you can track the job following this
    blog.
    However, when I configure three jobs that run on the same schedule, everything works well and the three jobs all run successfully.
     I recommend you configure three different jobs that execute same package at same schedule .

    Paul

    Paul,
    Are you using the 'schema-name' system preference setting for each user?
    Oracle's mechanism for selecting database metadata requires that the
    appropriate schema name be explicitly when more than one schemas are used.
    See the database setup section of our documentation for more information.
