Scripting Guide referenced scripts

All over the CS3 scripting guide there are parts of scripts and it says
in parentheses (for the complete script, see ...). Where do I find these
scripts that are being referenced to?

Hi Fred,
You can download the scripts from here:

  • SCSM 2012 - Problems running script in custom workflow

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to create a custom workflow in the Authoring Tool that will send an email when a ticket in certain queues is unassigned, but I only want this to run during business hours. I've created the PowerShell script, and it runs great on its own.
    However, whenever I try to add any kind of scripting event to a custom workflow, the workflow fails:
    Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common.InconsistentDataException: The requested objects had an unknown management pack. ---> Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common.InconsistentDataException: The call produced inconsistent results. The data on the client
    does not match the data returned from the server. The most likely cause is that client-side cache is out of sync with server data. ---> Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common.ObjectNotFoundException: An object of class ManagementPack with ID %GUID% was not
    found...
    If I create and import a management pack with an empty workflow, the workflow succeeds. If I use the "Add AD DS User to Group", the workflow succeeds. But as soon as I add a scripting event, the workflow fails.
    For testing, I added a PowerShell event with this code:
    $a=1
    I also added a Command Script event with this code and got the same error as above: ping SomeServer
    I even tried a VBScript, but that caused the workflow to not run at all:
    dim someVariable
    someVariable = "some value"
    I then disabled the VBScript activity and the workflow runs successfully.
    I'm running SCSM 2012 SP1 with UR4. I am copying the .dll file into the SCSM installation directory (which is not in the default location). The GUID referenced in the error code is the GUID for my custom MP.
    This is my first time creating a custom workflow in the Authoring Tool. Can you tell me what I'm missing? Please let me know if you need any more information
    Thanks!
    Marnie

    Thanks, Anders. I had seen that issue in my searches on this problem. I had tried both the manual fix suggested in that post as well as upgrading to UR4 (so I'm on on SP1 UR4). Neither approach made any difference.
    Am I supposed to do anything with the .cs, .xoml, and .xomlx files that also get generated? I noticed that if I move ALL the associated files into the install directory (not just the .dll file), then import the MP, I get a different error. Instead of the
    MP being missing, the error is now:
    System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

       at System.Workflow.ComponentModel.ActivityExecutorDelegateInfo`1.ActivityExecutorDelegateOperation.Run(IWorkflowCoreRuntime workflowCoreRuntime)
       at System.Workflow.Runtime.Scheduler.Run()
    This makes it seem like I do need to move ALL the files to the install directory, but maybe now the workflow just doesn't like my code?
    Thanks!

  • Weblogic GC Problem - Please assist

    Hi,
    I am working on WebLogic(for the first time) with a sun JVM on a 8 CPU solaris machine, we have set the GC algorithm as,
    "-Xms2048m -Xmx2048m -XX:NewSize=576m -XX:MaxNewSize=576m -XX:PermSize=256m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -XX:SurvivorRatio=8 -Xverify:none -verbose:gc -XX:+PrintGCTimeStamps -XX:+PrintGCDetails -XX:+PrintTenuringDistribution -XX:+UseParallelGC "
    The problem is The FULL GC takes consistently between 15 - 20 sec, firstly is that a concern?
    We see that the heap is used up to 1.9 GB before it GC's
    The CPU Utilzation on box is not high below 40% on an average.
    Is using the "Concurrent Low Pause Collector" a good option in this case?
    Please assist.
    Thanks in advance.

    I am guessing from your question that you are concerned about the full GC pauses.
    1.5.0_06 onwards there is a parallel old gc option available -XX:+UseParallelOldGC
    which can help on an 8-way. I'd expect (much handwaving and guessing here)
    that your full GC pauses might reduce from the current 15 sec range to the 2 second
    range.
    The concurrent GC would also help, albeit might require a bit of tuning to get
    right -XX:+UseConcurrentMarkSweepGC, available since 1.4.2, and made
    much more efficient and scalable in 5.0 and 6.0.
    For tuning guidance, look at the tuning guides and white papers available
    off of http://java.sun.com/docs/hotspot ,
    especially http://java.sun.com/docs/hotspot/gc5.0/gc_tuning_5.html
    and the associated FAQ (at the end of the tuning guide referenced above).

    Armin,
    I haven't seen this one before.
    Is your browser set to run with German locale?
    Here is my standard reply for problems with applet deployment in 3.1. It is probably the case that some classes available in the JDeveloper environment were not deployed to your web server environment.
    Applet Deployment for JDev 3.1
    Deployment issues for client and server:
    1. Make sure you have the JDK 1.2 plugin installed on the client.
    2. If your webserver and database are not on the same machine, you will have to configure your applet
    differently, or install the Net8 Connection Manager. See the Oracle JDBC Developer's Guide for more
    information (exact location of applet info depends on which version of the DB).
    Creating your Applet within JDeveloper:
    1. Create a new workspace.
    2. Create a new Business Components project. You will define your data model and business logic in this
    project. This is effectively your middle tier, but can be deployed to any tier you choose. In this
    project you will use the Business Components wizard to create:
    a. entity objects for each of the tables/views you want to develop against
    b. view objects (and optionally view links, associations) for each of the entity objects or
    combination of entity objects
    c. application module(s) to represent your data model(s)
    3. Save and build your business components project.
    4. Create a new empty project to contain your applet code.
    5. Launch the Infobus DataForm wizard to create your DAC applet. Choose the app module you created in
    step 2 as a data source. (Alternately, you can create the applet from scratch using the controls and
    binding your sessioninfo object to your app module).
    Deployment Steps within JDeveloper:
    1. Deploy your business components project.
    a. decide how you will deploy your app module (local, visibroker, etc.)
    b. if you decide to deploy in local mode, use the Deployment Profile Wizard and choose 'Simple
    Archive', including all of the business components project's XML and .JAVA files in the archive.
    c. if you will deploy to visibroker, see the online help for deploying your business components,
    and see the Release Notes for additional changes you need to make to your applet project.
    2. (if deploying BC4J project in local mode) Create a library using the archive you generated in Step
    1. Add this library to your applet project from the Project Properties Libraries tab.
    3. Clear out a directory on your local machine where the deployment wizard can copy everything you
    need to deploy.
    4. Deploy your applet project.
    a. Run the JDeveloper Deployment Profile Wizard and choose the Web Application to Web Server option
    on Page 1.
    b. On page 2, select all of the .class files in your project that make up the applet.
    c. Select all the libraries listed and shuttle them to the selected list. The contents of these
    libraries will automatically be added to your applet's HTML file during deployment
    d. Give the .jar file a name, and run the deployment to generate that jar file.
    e. select the location of the 'clean' directory you created in step 3.
    Deploying to your WebServer:
    1. Copy everything that the deployment process placed in your 'clean' directory to your WebServer.
    If you deployed your BC4J project locally, you will need to deploy the archive file containing your
    business components to the webserver along with all of the other archives.
    2. If you want to put the dependency archives in a different location from the applet's HTML file
    under the webserver root, then you need to set the CODEBASE tag in the HTML file to the (relative)
    location of the archives.
    Troubleshooting:
    1. Try both Netscape and IE. Different Browsers sometimes give different errors and one might be more
    helpful/indicative of the problem's source.
    2. Use the Java Console to get a more detailed stack trace. For Netscape, choose
    Communicator->Tools->Java Console.

  • Build and Capture - waiting to install

    I am using SCCM 2012 RTM and have started seeing an issue with our Build and Capture Task Sequence.  When performing a build and capture the system will not install anything for a day or so and anything that is advertised to it gets stuck in a "Waiting
    to Install..." status in the Software Center UI.
    When looking at the execmgr log for the client I see the following items that stick out to me:

    When I use the same Task Sequence (or any other deployment) on a system built from our old .WIM created with the same Build and Capture Task Sequence they always install immediately.  I am thinking it has something to do with the default SCCM Client
    upgrade package available by default, but I had our SCCM owner verify that has been disabled in the hierarchy.
    The deployments are set to ignore maintenance windows and things of that nature.  It appears to be an issue with the agents state when it comes up out of the build process.  It checks in with the Site and processes assignments for Compliance (DCM)
    without issues as well.  The build and capture new WIM/System builds just seem to not want to install anything.
    What makes this issue even more odd is that if I leave the system on for several days sitting at the "Waiting to Install..." state, the agent finally works out whatever issue it is stuck on and begins to work without issues.  If I don't use
    the WIM for several days after it was created, the WIM will also stop experiencing the issue too.
    Has anyone else run into this too?  This was working a couple months back and I went to create a new WIM in December and it hasn't work correctly since.
    Thanks..Jon

    I have identified the source of the problem, but no solution yet.   The blocking program is found under SMS_MaintenanceTaskRequests in the local client WMI Namespace Root\CCM\SMS_MaintenanceTaskRequests.  The GUID that is found in there has
    a matching TaskID to a TaskID found in the SMSTS from the Build and Capture Task Sequence logs.
    This is found in the SMSTSLog from the Build and Capture process showing the same Task GUID referenced (followed by a failure I cannot find good info on).  C:\SMSTSLog\SMSTS.log

  • RV120W 1.0.2.6 Port VLAN

    I recently upgraded from 1.0.1.3 to 1.0.2.6. I tried to change on of my port VLANs and couldn't find the port vlan configuration anymore. After a lot of searching, I reloaded 1.0.1.3, reconfigured the port vlans and then reloaded 1.0.2.6. All is fine now.
    I reread all the notes, and I can't find anything on changes to port vlan. Am I missing it in the configuration areas, or was it eliminated?

    Hi Richard,
    No VLANing functionality and mapping wireless to a VLAN is sort integral to the unit.
    It's got to be there.
    I know the newest version of code was also designed  to improve the usability of the GUI, so i guess thaings may have changed around a bit.
    The Admin guide referenced below, does suggest on page 30;
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/csbr/rv120w/administration/guide/rv120w_admin.pdf
    So it looks like the GUI may have  gone from port vlan to vlan membership, but I have loaned out my RV120W to a Cisco partner and cannot personally confirm this.
    Enabling VLANs
    STEP 1 Choose Networking > LAN (Local Network) > VLAN Membership.
    STEP 2 Check the Enable box.
    STEP 3 Click Save
    Creating a VLAN
    You can create up to four VLANs on the Cisco RV120W.
    STEP 1 Choose Networking > LAN (Local Network) > VLAN Membership.
    STEP 2 In the VLAN Membership Table, click Add Row.
    STEP 3 Enter a numerical VLAN ID that will be assigned to endpoints in the VLAN
    membership.
    The VLAN ID can range from 2 to 4094. VLAN ID 1 is reserved for the
    default VLAN, which is used for untagged frames received on the interface, and
    VLAN ID 4092 is reserved and cannot be used.
    Hope this helps

  • Problems  with Oracle 11R2 on Oracle Linux 6

    hi all
    We are setting up a new server and decided to be brave and go for OEL6, even though 11gR2 is not yet certified for it. It's a brand new box, with pretty much nothing on it. It will be a test server.
    I installed OEL 6 and included some extra packages as per the guide.
    I am now following the 11gR2 install recipe on http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/install.112/e16768/toc.htm, with some cross-referring to Mr Kartik's 11g recipe (which is aslo for OEL 5).
    All the 64-bit versions of the packages mentioned in the OEL5 list are installed.
    When I tried to install some of the 32 bit versions of various packages mentioned in the list (glibc, glibc-devel, libstdc++, libstdc++-devel), they failed with various missing dependencies.
    I pressed on, thinking that maybe I could get away with it.
    I am able to start the installer, but it then just hangs at the first form. I can enter a couple of characters in the first field but they take minutes to be echoed back. If I check the java process using System Monitor, I can see that it is consuming >100% of the CPU and appears to be in a wait state.
    thanks for any advice given

    Hi Hans;
    Linux6 certified wiht oracle 11g? I already checked certification matrix and also installation guide and cant see its certified, but as you post Tim is already published installation steps.Please clarifyIn the comments of Tim's article, it notes:
    remember, until some official notes come out it is risky to do anything important on OL6. In the server installation guide referenced in Tim's article, it specifically states it is only for the versions referenced in the guide, which does not include OL6.
    Just because someone shows something can be done, doesn't mean you should do it. If something is not certified by Oracle, you are on your own on the bleeding edge. Only those who acknowledge that should be doing it.
    That said, kudos to Tim for such a cookbook. Many of us have such a need, and the puzzle of what is necessary to make it work is just a distraction. We can only hope Oracle improves the quality of what they do certify, production quality means no silly incantations to work around bugs and misfeatures.
    I'm still amazed that people run production on uncertified configurations.

  • When to plug in and when no to?

    Just got my MacBook and I will be using it a lot at home. I could keep it plugged in all the time if that is ok for it. I didn't know if I should cycle the battery or what. These battery things always confuse me every time I get a new toy. Everyone also seems to recommend something different.

    While the guide referenced is a good place to start, it doesn't tell the entire picture.
    All rechargeable batteries lose ultimate capacity over time. Lithium rechargeable batteries also have a tendency to lose capacity just due to age. They lose capacity every time they get charged, and do so much more when drained to almost zero or charged to 100% too often.
    If your battery use is occasional (like mine) here's my opinion. Using it off battery power all the time will just lead to eventual battery degradation as you accumulate charge-discharge cycles. If you never use the battery power at all, the battery will degrade due to lack of use. The happy medium is to leave it on adapter power most of the time, but use it off the battery at least once a month. I have an iCal reminder to use it off the battery at the first day of each month.

  • Ejb and jsproc deployment problems

    Am trying to deploy the java stored procedure (jsp) example
    (jsproc subdirectory in acmevideo directory) and the enterprise
    java bean (ejb) example (ejb subdirectory in acmevideo
    directory). Both use the business and util subdirectries of
    acmevideo directory. These examples are provided with
    JDeveloper.
    In the case of the jsp example, the files compile fine in
    JDeveloper. The deployment profile file is created okay using
    the Stored Procedure Profile Wizard. But when the jsp is
    attempted to be deployed by right clicking the deployment
    profile file menu in JDeveloper, the following errors appear:
    SQL error during creation of acmevideo/util/DataWrapper
    ORA-00922 - missing or invalid option
    SQL error during creation of acmevideo/business/TitleQueries
    ORA-00922 - missing or invalid option
    Is there a corrective action for these errors? Are the details
    recorded in any log so that these errors can be troubleshooted?
    In the case of the jbe example, the files compile fine in
    JDeveloper. The deployment profile file is created okay using
    the EJB Profile Wizard. But when the jsp is attempted to be
    deployed by right clicking the deployment profile file menu in
    JDeveloper, the following happens:
    The message indicating that the deployment will take a few
    minues continues to show forever. There is no completion,
    and one is forced to cancel the process.
    This happens when using the port settings of 1521, 1526 (Oracle
    listener ports) or 2651 (OAS ORB port). Specifying the service
    or omitting it yeilds the same results.
    Is there a corrective action for this? Are the details recorded
    in any log so that these errors can be troubleshooted?
    For both the situations, is the classpath variable need to set
    outside the JDeveloper environment?
    Also am not able to locate the Oracle 8i CORBA and Enterprise
    Java Beans Developer's Guide and the Oracle 8i Java Stored
    Procedure Developer's Guide referenced in Building Java
    Applications for Oracle 8i anywhere.
    Would appreciate any help in this area.

  • Applets on the Mac

    I am getting royally confused as to how to deploy applets in a way that will work on the Mac platform. I already know that the plugin2 mechanism as described in the current Java Tutorial under "Developing an Applet", i.e.,
    http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/deployment/applet/deployingApplet.html
    won't work. But what exactly is the "old" mechanism? Is it what is described under "Deploying With the Applet Tag" (still in the current tutorial), i.e.,
    http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/deployment/applet/html.html
    or do I need to go all the way back to pre-1.6 times, e.g., to this description:
    http://download.oracle.com/javase/1.5.0/docs/guide/plugin/developer_guide/contents.html
    The discussion of the applet tag in these two documents is especially confusing. The current tutorial implies that it it still perfectly valid but the Java 1.5 plugin guide referenced above say: "The HTML specification states that the applet tag is deprecated, and that you should use the object tag instead. However, the specification is vague about how browsers should implement the object tag to support Java applets, and browser support is currently inconsistent. Sun therefore recommends that you continue to use the applet tag as a consistent way to deploy Java applets across browsers on all platforms." So, which is it: can we depend on the applet tag or not?
    Thanks a lot for any enlightenment.

    Thanks for the answer. I just coded a test applet without JNLP and using the applet tag and, glory be, it works in IE8! Presumably it works in IE9, too. As for IE7/6/5 etc, well, that's just too bad; it's high time to desupport these antiquities.
    OTOH a friendly tester told me that the plugin2 version of the applet works even on the Mac but only with the Chrome browser. I am baffled by this since I don't see what would make Chrome special (AFAIK it doesn't bundle its own Java) and would like it double-checked but, not having a Mac myself, I cannot investigate. Can anyone confirm of deny?

  • Guide to External Jobs on 10g with dbms_scheduler e.g. scripts,batch files

    GUIDE TO RUNNING EXTERNAL JOBS ON 10g WITH DBMS_SCHEDULER
    NOTE: Users using 11g should use the new method of specifying a credential which eliminates many of the issues mentioned in this note.
    This guide covers several common questions and problems encountered when using
    dbms_scheduler to run external jobs, either on Windows or on UNIX.
    What operating system (OS) user does the job run as ?
    External jobs which have a credential (available in 11g) run as the user
    specified in the credential. But for jobs without credentials including
    all jobs in 10gR1 and 10gR2 there are several cases.
    - On UNIX systems, in releases including and after 10.2.0.2 there is a file $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/externaljob.ora . All external jobs not in the SYS schema and with no credential run as the user and group specified in this file. This should be nobody:nobody by default.
    - On UNIX systems, in releases prior to 10.2.0.2 there was no "externaljob.ora" file. In this case all external jobs not in the SYS schema and with no credential run as the owner and group of the $ORACLE_HOME/bin/extjob file which should be setuid and setgid. By default extjob is owned by nobody:nobody except for oracle-xe where it is owned by oracle:oraclegroup and is not setuid/setgid.
    - On Windows, external jobs not in the SYS schema and with no credential run as the user that the OracleJobScheduler Windows service runs as. This service must be started before these jobs can run.
    - In all releases on both Windows and UNIX systems, external jobs in the SYS schema without a credential run as the oracle user.
    What errors are reported in SCHEDULERJOB_RUN_DETAILS views ?
    If a job fails, the first place to look for diagnostic information is the SCHEDULERJOB_RUN_DETAILS set of views. In 10gR2 and up the first 200 characters of the standard error stream is included in the additional_info column.
    In all releases, the error number returned by the job is converted into a
    system error message (e.g. errno.h on UNIX or net helpmsg on Windows) and that
    system error message is recorded in the additional info column. If there is no
    corresponding message the number is displayed.
    In 11g and up the error number returned by the job is additionally recorded in
    the error# column. In earlier releases 27369 would always be recorded in the
    error# column.
    Generic Issues Applicable to UNIX and Windows
    - The job action (script or executable) must return 0 or the job run will be marked as failed.
    - Always use the full pathname to executables and scripts.
    - Do not count on environment variables being set in your job. Make sure that the script or executable that your jobs runs sets all required environment variables including ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID, PATH etc.
    - It is not recommended to pass in a complete command line including arguments as the action. Instead it is recommended to pass in only the path to and name of the executable and to pass in arguments as job argument values.
    - Scripts with special characters in the execution path or script name may give problems.
    - Ensure that the OS user your job runs as has the required privileges/permissions to run your job. See above for how to tell who the job runs as.
    - External job actions cannot contain redirection operators e.g. > < >> | && ||
    - In general try getting a simple external job working first e.g. /bin/echo or ipconfig.exe on Windows. Also try running the job action directly from the commandline as the OS user that the job will run as.
    Windows-specific Issues
    - The OracleJobScheduler Windows service must be started before external jobs will run (except for jobs in the SYS schema and jobs with credentials).
    - The user that the OracleJobScheduler Windows service runs as must have the "Log on as batch job" Windows privilege.
    - A batch file (ending in .bat) cannot be called directly by the Scheduler. Instead cmd.exe must be used and the name of the batch file passed in as an argument. For example
    begin
    dbms_scheduler.create_job('myjob',

    /- In 10gR1 external jobs that wrote to standard output or standard error streams would sometimes return errors. Redirect to files or suppress all output and error messages when using 10gR1 to run external jobs.
    UNIX-specific Issues
    - When running scripts, make sure that the executable bit is set.
    - When running scripts directly, make sure that the first line of the script in a valid shebang line - starting with "#!" and containing the interpreter for the script.
    - In release 10.2.0.1, jobs creating a large amount of standard error text may hang when running (this was fixed in the first 10.2.0.2 patchset). If you are seeing this issue, redirect standard error to a file in your job. This issue has been seen when running the expdp utility which may produce large amounts of standard error text.
    - the user that the job runs as (see above section) must have execute access on $ORACLE_HOME/bin and all parent directories. If this is not the case the job may be reported as failed or hang in a running state. For example if your $ORACLE_HOME is /opt/oracle/db then you would have to make sure that
    chmod a+rx /opt
    chmod a+rx /opt/oracle
    chmod a+rx /opt/oracle/db
    chmod a+rx /opt/oracle/db/bin
    - On oracle-xe, the primary group of your oracle user (if it exists) must be dba before you install oracle-xe for external jobs to work. If you have an oracle user from a regular Oracle installation it may have the primary group set to oinstall.
    - On oracle-xe, the extjobo executable is missing so external jobs in the SYS schema will not work properly. This can be fixed by copying the extjob executable to extjobo in the same directory ($ORACLE_HOME/bin).
    - Check that correct permissions are set for external job files - extjob and externaljob.ora (see below)
    Correct permissions for extjob and externaljob.ora on UNIX
    There is some confusion as to what correct permissions are for external job related files.
    In 10gR1 and 10.2.0.1 :
    - rdbms/admin/externaljob.ora should not exist
    - bin/extjob should be setuid and setgid 6550 (r-sr-s---). It should be owned by the user that jobs should run as and by the group that jobs should run as.
    - bin/extjobo should have normal 755 (rwxr-xr-x) permissions and be owned by oracle:oraclegroup
    In 10.2.0.2 and higher
    - rdbms/admin/externaljob.ora file must must be owned by root:oraclegroup and be writable only by the owner i.e. 644 (rw-r--r--) It must contain at least two lines: one specifying the run-user and one specifying the run-group.
    - bin/extjob file must be also owned by root:oraclegroup but must be setuid i.e. 4750 (-rwsr-x---)
    - bin/extjobo should have normal 755 (rwxr-xr-x) permissions and be owned by oracle:oraclegroup
    In 11g and higher
    Same as 10.2.0.2 but additionally bin/jssu should exist with root setuid
    permissions i.e. owned by root:oraclegroup with 4750 (-rwsr-x---)
    Internal Error numbers for UNIX on 10.2.0.2 or 10.1.0.6 or higher
    If you are not using a credential and are using version 10.2.0.2 or higher or 10.1.0.6 or higher you may come across an internal error number. Here are the meanings for the internal error numbers.
    274661 - can't get owner of or permissions of externaljob.ora file
    274662 - not running as root or externaljob.ora file is writable by group or other or externaljob.ora file not owned by root (can't switch user)
    274663 - setting the group or effective group failed
    274664 - setting the user or effective user failed
    274665 - a user or group id was not changed successfully
    274666 - cannot access or open externaljob.ora file
    274667 - invalid run_user specified in externaljob.ora file
    274668 - invalid run_group specified in externaljob.ora file
    274669 - error parsing externaljob.ora file
    274670 - extjobo is running as root user or group

    Hi Ravi,
    Can you help me...
    Hi All,
    I planned to create a job to do rman backup daily at 04:00 AM.
    1. I created a program as follows
    BEGIN
    DBMS_SCHEDULER.CREATE_PROGRAM(
    program_name => 'rman_backup_prg',
    program_action => '/u02/rmanback/rman.sh',
    program_type => 'EXECUTABLE',
    comments => 'RMAN BACKUP');
    END;
    my rman script is
    #!/usr/bin/ksh
    export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1
    export PATH=$PATH:/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/bin
    /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/bin/exp rman/cat@catdb file=/u02/rmanback/rm
    an_220108.dmp log=/u02/rmanback/rman_220108.log owner=rman statistics=none comp
    ress=n buffer=400000
    compress *.dmp
    exit
    2. I created a schedule as follows
    BEGIN
    DBMS_SCHEDULER.CREATE_SCHEDULE(
    schedule_name => 'rman_backup_schedule',
    start_date => SYSTIMESTAMP,
    end_date => '31-DEC-16 05.00.00 AM',
    repeat_interval => 'FREQ=DAILY; BYHOUR=4',
    comments => 'Every day at 4 am');
    END;
    3. I created ajob as follows.
    BEGIN
    DBMS_SCHEDULER.CREATE_JOB (
    job_name => 'rman_backup_job',
    program_name => 'rman_backup_prg',
    schedule_name => 'rman_backup_schedule',
    enabled=> true,
    auto_drop=> false
    END;
    While I am running the job I am getting the following error anybody help me.
    ORA-27369: job of type EXECUTABLE failed with exit code: Not owner
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_ISCHED", line 150
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SCHEDULER", line 441
    ORA-06512: at line 2
    If I removed "compress *.dmp" line in rman script it is working fine.

  • Do I have to install SharePoint Foundation 2013 via a script in order to name my content databases without the GUID references?

    Hi,
    I want to install SharePoint Foundation 2013 on a standalone server with SQL Express but I want to be able to name the content databases without their GUID references. Will I have to use an install script (AutoSPInstaller perhaps?) to achieve this?
    Thanks.

    You can't do a standalone install if you want the alias (also if you plan to move the databases in the future)
    You'll need to create the alias before you create the farm with the Configuration wizard or PowerShell so you can specify the alias. Whether you create the alias before or after installing SQL Express doesn't matter as long as it points to the instance.
