Scripts - How to define a different dimension

Hi,
I have data for certain members called "concepto", these data is going to be stored in the dimension TIME but only for year. What i want to do is take this data by year and spread it to each month of the year. But also, the members of the dimension change.
1. Concepts: MOD, GL, MP (3 members)
Stored for 2011
Stored also with the following dims: Cliente: Dummy , Concepts: Cd (Parent of the 3 concepts) , Consumibles : Consumibles, Lob: Dummy, Metrica: X, Moneda: Dummy, OI: Dummy, Tiempo: 2011, Version: Esperado_2011, Vendedor: Dummy
2. Spreading the value for the months, calling the 3 concepts with a property (dist):
*XDIM_MEMBERSET TIEMPO=2009,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014,2015,2016,2017,2018,2019,2020,2021
*WHEN CONCEPTO.DIST
*IS "Y"
*FOR %ANO%= %TIEMPO_SET%

So far, it works perfectly, but the destination for those dims is not the right one, I'd like to change 3 dims:
Lob: Servicios_out , Metrica: Importe, Moneda: MXN.
3. How can I define this destination? I have tried adding FOR (each dimension) along with the FOR statements (time) but it does not work.

In order to store the data in the dimensions i want and the rest of them stay as the original, i.e. Version, etc.
It simply ignored this and stored everything in the wrong members for the dimensions.
Any other suggestion?

Hello Juliana,
What you would like to do is possible with some simple string manipulation. First you will need a Device Name constant from the DAQmx >> Advanced >> DAQmx Constants & Property Nodes palette. Right-click on the constant and turn it into a control. Then, use a concatenate strings function to join the device name with the rest of the characters you need to define your input channels. Wire the output of the concatenate strings VI to your DAQmx Create Channel VI.

By default its taking all dimensions as sparse dimension type. I want to define sparse and dense through MAXLand automate everything.

you cannot modify sparse/desne settings directly through MAXL.
The only way you will be able to build/modify/remove dimensions/members through maxl is using rules files.
So if you are building dimensions using rules files, for a new dimension you can specify dimension properties.
in rules file options -> dimension build settings -> dimension definition -> Rules file -> dimensions.
Here you can specify new dimensions and after specifying you can right click and edit properties where you can change various dimension level properties including sparse/dense settings.

The schema location used to register the XML schema with XML DB does not need to be a valid URL for accessing the XML Schema
I can use the same URL , for instance
http://xmlns.example.scom/xsd/myXMLSchema.xsd
on machines dbserver1, and dbserver2. The only reason some people choose to use the hostname / portnumber convention is that this makes it possible to validate the XML Instance documents against the copy of the XML schema stored in the XML DB repository using an external tool like XMLSpy without have to add entries to XMLSpy's OASIS catalog files.
I am concerned about the message you are getting. That's not correct AFAICT but I'd need to see the complete XML Schema and Instance to be sure.

How to Watermark multiple images with different dimensions in Photoshop ?

Is there any way that I can place a watermark on the right bottom of multiple images, no matter what dimension the images are? I have tried using Photoshop Scripts > image processor, but it works only for images of same dimension. I want to put watermark on multiple images of different dimensions. This is the output i got.
For the first image the watermark got placed correctly, but for the second image watermark got distracted. As you can clearly see the dimensions are different. Please suggest me some solution.

Open an image to watermark. We must have this open before we start recording an action or else it will keep opening this image and watermarking it over and over again.
In Photoshop go to Windows >> Actions
At the bottom of the Actions Palette you will see a little folder icon, click on it and create a new folder to hold you action in.
Once you have a folder to hold your action we need to hit the Create New Action button (next to the new folder Icon we just used.)
Give our new action a name and set a function key (if required.)
If the record button is not already depressed which it should be by default, hit it now to start recording our action. (located near the folder icon again but this time to the left)
Now that our action is recording go to File >> Place
When the dialog box comes up navigate to your previously created watermark file.
Hit the Place button
Position the watermark as you would normally have it (default is dead center) and hit enter.
Go to File >> Save as,navigate to where you want your watermarked images to finish up and hit save. DO NOT CHANGE THE FILE NAME if you do when you play the batch it will name all the files it saves the same over-writing each other.
Close the image we just watermarked.
when a save dialog comes up do not save the image.
On the Actions Palette hit stop recording.
Our Action is now recorded.
To process an entire folder of images we go to File >> Automate >> Batch
Select the folder in which your images are currently
Select the folder you wish to save the watermarked copies too.
Hit OK
Photoshop is now watermarking all the Images in the selected folder for you.

I am fairly new to Application express, I have created an application but I would like to define a different homepage for a user when they login. Of course I can modifiy the PLSQL code:

You can create an nXSD using Native Format Builder and use lookAhead attribute to read values at specific position and use that as the choice. You can find an example here

If you need to make a hierarchy in an Attribute view you need to have all relevant fields/columns in the same Dimension table..

How to define different styles to different levels of hierarchical titles?

With difficulty, I found how to define a style for hierarchical titles, i.e.:
1. First level
1.1. Second level
1.1.1. Third level
etc.
But all levels will have the same character parameters (font, size, etc).
What I would like is, e.g.:
1. First level
1.1. Second level
1.1.1. Third level
In MS Word, it is easy: you define a different style for each level. In Pages, I found no way to do this, and no clue in the user's manual.
Is it possible (I guess it should be), and if so, how?

You need to use the Styles Drawer. Go to: View > Show Styles Drawer. To define a Style, highlight the formatted text then click the plus sign at the bottom of the styles drawer. To delete a style, secondary click on the style and choose Delete Style.

eg of two dimensions

In this case, I believe, you should have the allocation within a for loop. But you should note that the performance might reduce.

How to have multiple default dimension members

Hi There
I am using AS2008, when editing a role, under the dimension data tab, under advanced, you can define a default dimension member.
However i need my default dimension member to be members, i have tried using a attribute set to true for many members and creating a hierarchy.
But neither works, it seems to randomly pick one Key for a set of members and you cannot use a hierarchy to define members.
How can i define multiple default members ? what i really want is all members except one.

We're going to need some more details about exactly what you did because it really sounds like you're making a mistake. This extra attribute should work.
The only situation I can think of where it might not work as intended is if your new attribute is a property of the state attribute... when you slice by the state attribute, it will override the default member on the new attribute.
What are your attribute relationships in that dimension? What do you get when you run the following MDX queries?
