SDK CLSID Error

Good day!
I'm new to using the SAP SDK (DI) for integration. Recently I've encountered a COM error saying
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID
{632F4591-AA62-4219-8FB6-22BCF5F62007} failed due to the following
error: 80040154.
I think that the reason for this error is because I haven't installed the SAP Client on the test machines. On other test machines with existing SAP Clients, the addon works just fine.
Is there any way to use the SAP SDK without installing the SAP Client?
Thanks in advance

Hi Vincent,
You can install the DI API separately from the SAP client. On your server there will be a share called B1_SHR. In this there will be a subfolder named 'B1DIAPI' that includes the installer for the DI API. Just run the Setup.exe in this folder to install the DI API on the local machine.
Kind Regards,
Owen

I am trying to install LabVIEW Student Edition 2010 on Windows 7 64-bit. I get SDK function error. I searched the knowledgebase questions but it seems the problem is mostly for 2008 versions or older. If anyone knows the solution to this, it would be of great help. Thank you.

    Hello Alxandr,
Thank you for taking the time to submit this issue to Connect. This is a known issue with Windows 8.1 RTM and it will be addressed in a future update of Windows 8.1. In the meantime, you can typically rename the EXE to get it to work correctly.

    @Jason Villmer,
I believe the issue you're describing is http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-26940.
There is a workaround listed in the bug report which should work (based on my testing), or you could probably set the direction and layoutDirection styles globally using a Style block.

  • Nokia Series 40 SDK, preverify error

When making my first project with JBuilder9 and Nokia Developer's Suite 2.2 for J2ME && Nokia Series 40 SDK, such an error appears:
ERROR: floating-point arguments should not appear
    Error preverifying class java.lang.String
However I dont use any floating-point arguments, there are used in java.lang.String,
    as I see.
So how can I solve this problem?

i have the same problem with eclipse, i think that
eclipse isnt work so good in Nokia Developer's Suite
2.2 for J2ME(TM), but i attache the sdk 1.1 in
eclipse, and then run the stand alone version of
Nokia Developer's Suite 2.2 for J2ME(TM), and have
the same problem... how can i configure it there ?I had the same problem, but, when I turned on the built-in preverifier, the error dissapeared. What confuses me most is the fact that the error appeared suddenly after adding j2me-ws.jar to the build path and persisted even after I removed it from the class path.

    Hi javafueled,
I too had this issue and have just discovered that if I remove the 'jre' hack was needed to install the server, then my scripts start working.
(i.e. reverse the jre actions that are described here : http://samuraism.jp/blog/2008/09/20/running_weblogic_server_10g_release_3_on_a_mac.html )
    Hope this helps,

    Hi,
This problem usually occurs when you are installing from an ISO build for a different architecture.
Windows SDK now have different ISO’s for different architectures. Please download the correct ISO based on your system platform and architecture type.

  • Base SDK Missing error

I previously coded a test iPhone application on Mac OS X 10.4 (Leopard), which uses the older XCode SDK. I now upgraded to Mac OS X 10.6.4 (Snow Leopard) and is now using XCode 3.2.4. When I attempt to run the iPhone application with the upgraded version of XCode an error message of "Base SDK Missing". Can I make it run with the newer XCode 3.2.4? Thank you very much!

Right click your project name in the groups and files pane. Choose get info. Click Base SDK and change it to 4.1. This sould fix your problem.
    P.S. Leopard is 10.5 not 10.4. Tiger is 10.4

Do you have an idea ?
    Thank you for your answer.

Just for clarification, there's a flood of developers now purchasing Macs to code for the iPhone platform. For those of you new to Xcode, you add a framework by doing the following:
    1. Open your iPhone project in XCode
    2. In the project window, ctrl+click (or right-click if you have 2-button mouse) on 'Frameworks' folder > Add > Existing Frameworks
    3. Navigate to /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS2.0.sdk/System/Li brary/Frameworks/CoreLocation.framework
    4. Click 'Add' button
    5. Compile
Also, for anyone coming for the ActionScript Java or C# world, I've been blogging on transitioning to iPhone OS development platform.

  • IPhone SDK CodeSign Error: Redux (latest OS X update is broken)

This bug - http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1455699&start=0&tstart=0 - is back. My AdHoc project, which worked perfectly last week, has just stopped building, with this:
"object file format invalid or unsuitable"
As soon as I upgraded from 10.5.7 to 10.5.8, this bug appeared.
However, this bug was officially fixed in 10.5.7 - so, I'm guessing here, Apple has accidentally re-created it.
Unfortunately, I cannot add to the original post, because Apple has frozen the topic.
So, here's a new topic to ask if anyone else is having this problem, and what they did about it - is it exactly the same as the old bug? or is it different in some way?
I'm going to try some of the workarounds for the old bug - but hacking command line scripts isn't fun, and I'm worried I might break something even worse .
