SDM Deployment Problem with aii_af_jmsproviderlib

Hi
When I try to deploy aii_af_jmsproviderlib I get the following error:
"SDM has not calculated any deployment actions.Possible reasons:
All selected archives have already been deployed before in the same or in a higher version".
Also, it does not let me select the option: "Update deployed SDA/SCA version" which I need to select based on the documentation. Any suggestions how to fix this?
Thanks
Tim

Hi!
Could you
1) give the detail of you modification?
2) in my META-INF, I only find manifest but no SAP-manifest, why?
Thanks a lot!

  • Deploying problem with remout OC4J (10.1.2)

    Hello!
I have a problem with PDK-Java Portlet deployng. I'm relatively new in this field.
I use Jdeveloper 10g (10.1.2). I have read in the Jdeveloper help how to deploy portlet on remout Application Server.
I start the following comand in server's console where OC4J installed:
    java -jar ${ORACLE_HOME}/j2ee/home/admin.jar ormi://myserver:3204 my_pass -deploy -file Oc4jDcmServlet.ear -deploymentName Oc4jDcmServlet
    and get the Error: Unable to find java:comp/ServerAdministrator: Lookup error: javax.naming.AuthenticationException: Invalid username/password for default (adminuser);
I login to Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control by the same user(adminuser) and the same password (my_pass).
Anybody know how to resolve this problem?

did you change the admin password after installation?
Oracle doesnt change all passwords, the password entered during installation of OC4J is the password you have to use for deployment from JDEV
    atleast, thats my experiance

  • General install and deployment problem with WLS clustering on two boxes

    Hi,
I've come across a general installation problem with WLS with a cluster spanning two different physical machines and two Managed Servers, one Managed Server per physical machine.
The problem is, starting from scratch, you install WLS on both physical machines. You can then use the config wizard to create the domain, cluster and managed servers, but this is a manual typing in process.
So we've now got a WLST Script which we run with "java weblogic.WLST domaincreate.py domain.properties". This is good as it creates the domain, cluster, managed servers and JMS modules.
Now the trouble is, it doesn't do anything to the 2nd physical machine which will be running only the 2nd Managed Server.
One dirty way to get around this in order to start the 2nd managed server was to copy the domain directory to the 2nd server, but I'm sure this is bad practice and what you can actually do is improve the WLST script to actually, but the same as the config wizard and dump the nessary information to the 2nd physical machine in order so you don't need to copy the domain directory across so that it will startup straight after running the WLST.
    Any help appriecated.
    Surfbum.

Hi I think I've found the answer. You can build a managed server template using the pack command.

  • MDM Business Package : Deployment problem with SDM GUI

    Dear Experts,
I want to deploy the MDM Business Package on to the j2ee engine. However, when i go to the SDM GUI and select the first SDA(com.sap.mdm.tech.mdm4j.sda) file for deployment, it just hangs and nothing happens after that.I feel something is wrong with the SDM GUI.
Please let me know any possible solutions/alternatives to this problem.
    Thanks,
    Karambir Singh

    Hi Karambir,
    1) Are you trying to deploy the sda from your local machine or from a network drive? If a network drive, try copying it to your local machine and then deploying it.
    2) If the SDM is connecting to a remote application server, it can sometimes take a long time to get a response.
    3) Can you deploy other deployable archives via the SDM, or is only mdm4j.sda causing a problem?

  • Web Module Deployment Problem with Weblogic [Deployer:149026]

    Dear Friends,
I've been facing a problem during deploying an Web Module on Weblogic 8.1. The name of my webmodule is 'MyOraWebModule'.
When I first developed, deployed and tested it in Weblogic 8.1, it was deployed and worked fine. But on the next day, when I tried to redeploy it, the deployment failed. This thing not just happens only once.. it is happeing always i.e. if I develop a new webmodule and deploy/redeploy it, it will work fine ONLY ON THE FIRST DAY (i.e. the day when the web module is created), but on the next day, it shows the following error if I try to redeploy it. The error is:
Task 3 failed: [Deployer:149026]Deploy application MyOraWebModule on myserver.

Context path '/' is already in use by the module. when this exception is thrown I observed that the targets attribute of tag WebAppComponent is initialized to the server name. If I stop the server, make the value of the targets attribute to be empty string in config.xml and start the server, the server starts fine. And I could continue. Not sure why this is so since the targets attribute is used to identify on what servers the application needs to be deployed.
Any input on why the weblogic 8.1 is behaving this way when the targets attribute is defined with a value would of great help.
    thanks,

  • HOT deployment problem with WebLogic 5.1sp11

    Hello!
We trying to deploy our EJB (jar contains 5 EJB's) with WebLogic EJB DeployerTool.
When we registered our jar in the weblogic.properties file - everything is OK.
This ejb cotains correct EJB's which are made in EJB 1.1 standard.
In the WebLogic EJB DeployerTool I attach proper WeaWeblogic application server
(it works on another computer, but tool found our server confidently. Then I opened
my jar file. Tool parsed file and found all beans.
After all I'm trying to run Tools/Deploy and I have the error message showed below.
If somebody knows how to manage with this problem, help!

Is SP11 jars in the client classpath or not, before launching DeployerTool.
If yes, then it looks like a bug. You might want to report this problem to

  • Deployment issue with aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda file

    Hi,
While I was trying to deploy above .sda file after adding classes12.jar ( for Oracle DB connection) to provider.xml. I have followed the doc to deploy external drivers doc available in SDN.
However, it was still throwing following error. Please update me do i need to change any thing other than provider.xml file in the folder of server of above sda file.
    Details:
    = = = = = =
    1) Error loading archives selected.
    /scratch/aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda
    (server side name is /scratch/aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda)
com.sap.sdm.util.sduread.IIIFormattedSduFileException:the infomation about development component found in the manifest is either missing or incomplete! Manifest attributes are missing or have badly formatted value:attribute keylocation is missing attribute keyname is missing attribute keyvendor is missing attribute keycounter is missing(/scratch/aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda).
While I was modifing the .sda file I have only considered additional entry in provider.xml. I didn't make any changed in manifest or server manifest files. Those are remain same.
Please give me advice what would be cause of failure?

    Hi,
I got the same issue and i solved that the trick is instead of deploying as sda files i tried to deploy that by using zip or rar file type.
I am not sure it will work out but have a try of this one.

  • Java Stored Procedure Deployment Problem with JDev 3.1.1.2

    Dear JDeveloper Team:
I am having a problem deploying a test Java stored procedure to the database. In the Deployment Profile Wizard Connection tab, it displays no connection in the connection dropdown even though I have defined some connections that have been sucessfully connected to the database.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Tom

    Tom,
Verify that your Connections are valid as follows:
Double Click on the Connections folder of JDeveloper Navigator.
This opens up the Connection Manager.
Make sure you have defined JDBC Connections.
Pick your connection of intrest and select Edit... and then press the Test button to test the conneciton.
If this is a valid JDBC connection, then it should appear later when you run the deployment wizard.

  • Deployment problem with update

    Hi,
I'm new in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio etc. So I installed a local test environment on my pc and everything works fine. Then I created the first test project (Calculator) deployed and tested it. No problems. Looks good. Then I tried to make a simple change (changed text) in the JSP file and deployed it. The deployment succeeded but the changes are not visible in the browser. I exported the EAR file and looked in the contained JSP file; there are the changes available. So I guess something runs wrong during deployment to the J2EE environment?!
Any ideas where I failed ???

  • Deployment problems with dtd

i've been trying to deploy on as but i get the following error:
oracle.oc4j.admin.internal.DeployerException: Error initializing ejb-module; Exception Failure to initialize EJBQL descriptors: com.sun.enterprise.deployment.xml.ParseException: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://java.sun.com/dtd/ejb-jar_2_0.dtd
but if i try to deploy on the embedded i got no error, btw im using jdeveloper 10g as ide

We had the exact same issue 403 forbidden for ejb-jar.xml files that have EJBQL. Our workaround was to put the dtds on the local filesystem. You can find the dtds in the oc4j.jar under home.
Replace http://java.sun.com/dtd/ejb-jar_2_0.dtd with file:///[LOCATION_OF_DTDS]/ejb-jar_2_0.dtd and then try to deploy again.
    Hope this helps
