SE16N - Maintain entries check box

Hi Gurus,
I would like to know why the "Maintain entries" check box in SE16N is disabled. How to enable it permanantly?
I know we can mark it by using &SAP_EDIT. But I would like to know how to enable it permanantly?

In the maintenance flag for the table is maintained as "Display/maintenance allowed" the check-box "Maintain Entries" will be checked.
For the other 2 options this option will be disabled.

  • Can we set the Manual Price Entry check in a pricelist ?

    Hi,
    When using SBO's own import tool to update a pricelist based on another pricelist, I noticed that in those cases where the imported price happens to be the same as base price x factor, the manual price entry check box does not get set.
    So I figured that I would quickly build my own pricelist update tool, using the DI_API, but I can't seem to find any documentation or examples about setting the Manual Price Entry.
    Is it even possible? If so can anyone tell me where to look? If not, can someone explain to me why not?

    Thanks for your reply. Let me try to explain the challenge (problems do not exist, right?).
    This functionality is not actually original, "in the good old days" the Manual Price Entry check would always get set whenever you typed in a price, or updated it by import. Current behaviour appears to be since version 2007.
    Now you are right, that at least at first glance it is only logical that the system behaves as it does now. However, consider our scenario:
    I show all my active items (about 6000) with a base price, in an internet store for registered B2B customers. Each customer has been offered specific prices for tailored selections of products (about 100 - 200). These specific prices are not dynamic. So I create a pricelist per customer, and base it on our base pricelist. Then I import the selection into the new pricelist with the agreed prices.
    Prices in the base pricelist may of course fluctuate on a daily basis, but the prices of the selected items should remain the same. Setting the Manual Price Entry check accomplishes this.
    Imagine my surprise and dismay when I discovered that this method all of a sudden no longer worked, and now I am expected to manually scroll and click my way through each pricelist (about 100, and growing, which contain all 12000 items), and compare it to the relevant selection list, or alternatively I need to import my active items into each separate customer's Special Prices list, and maintain them all whenever an item is dropped or added to the active items. Not to mention that that would pretty much double the size of our database (which is already more than 60 GB).
    Hence my question.

    I got a requirement to add a check box in se16n & se16 for specific tables. I am not able to find any exit for that.
    How to acheive this.

    We do not have any standard exits or BADI available for the above transactions.
    I could not find even implicit enhancements available for this.
    You can make use of screen variants, and then assign it to transaction variants. If it is the legal requirement, try approaching SAP

  • Object Model - cl_salv_hierseq_table Check box in the parent entry

    Hi,
    I am doing a report with cl_salv_hierseq_table (Object Model) , in that i  need to put a check box in the t_table_level1 level. I know that SALV is not have an option to edit.
    My requirement is from the list user select multiple parent entries (ie t_table_level1 ) and selected entries must be converted to web template and send to HTML repository.
    Currently i am struck up with creating a check box in HIERSEQ list

  • Creating a fillable PDF form, check box entries do not print

    Hello.
    I am creating a PDF in Acrobat Pro for Adobe Reader users to enter information, with an option to print after the form is completed. I've added check box fields for users to indicate various options. However, when checked, these fields do not print.
    In the properties dialog, the field is visible - so theoretically it should print. All other form fields added to the document print, except for check boxes.
    Could this be a font issue? I notice that Adobe Pi font is used for check boxes, however, Zapf Dingbats is being substituted (I can see this in the Document Properties/Fonts dialog).

    Thank you so much for the quick response. This will be a huge help! I hate to be a bother, but can you tell me the steps to create the script or give me a reference/resouce to use? I have used adobe products quite a bit, but this is my first time creating a PDF Fillable Form that will be distributed for use by several people so I am a little lost.
    Also, I seem to be running into one more problem that I am hoping you can help me figure out. On the form there is a question for the recipient  to answer by checking one of two boxes, yes or no. Depending on the answer an action is initiated. This feature works perfectly, however the issue is that when the recipient choses "yes" he/she is directed to fill out four additional fields that I currently have set as "required", but when the recipient choses "No" the four additional fields are hidden yet still required. This becomes an issue when the recipient has completed the form and tries to submit the form. An error message pops up notifying the user there are required fields that are empty and must be completed before submission.
    My thought is (in a perfect world) one of these two options would be ideal:
    1. When the "No" option is chosen the four additional fields are changed from required to not required, or
    2. When the "No" option is chose the four additional required fields are autopopulated with NA.
    Either remedy would work just fine, however I am open to suggestions... Again thank you so much for your help with my previous question and thank you in advance for any information/help/advice you can provide in regards to my second question.

    As per our requirement we have to make Tax Code check box Ticked in all FI Transaction codes and it should always be ticked and grey(display) mode so no one can change its ticked status.
        Kindly suggest how to make this field ticked and greyed.

    You can do so by editing the necessary field status group and putting the tax check box as display only.
    However, you would not need tax calculation for all cases. Be sure that you know, why you want all accounts to be tax relevant.
    If I understand correctly, you will maintain the necessity of Tax Code in GL master through FS00 but you will keep it in display mode at document entry level.
    Please clarify your exact requirement.

    Under which case the below 2 fields are required to b filled while creating a PO apart from making them mandatory fieds in document type settings.
    1. GR msg check box in 'delivery/invoice' tab of header data
    2. Storage Location data in item details
    in me59n, system unable process p.req to PO becoz it is mandatory to fill these two fields.

    1. GR message check box issues message to the buyer after every the goods receipt against the PO.
    Message type has to be configured for this functionality.
    2. If you are managing stock of material at storage location level , then you will need to maintain this at PO item level.

    In my XML Publisher report , my template contains a checkbox, using forms tools i create that check box and run the report
    but output of check box is not comming becoz,The XML Publisher default PDF output font does not support checkbox.

    What version of XMLP are you using ?
    Check the user guide, there is an entry in there describing how to specifiy the check box glyph to be used for checks and unchecked.
    Its will either be set using the UI or thru a config file depending on your version.

  • The "Delete" check box is not working in a table

    I have created a Master-Multi Detailed groups page, I can "Add Row" to the Master table, which is saved to the DB okay, but I cannot Add rows to the DB in the detailed table, and I cannot Delete the records (by checking the delete check boxes and hitting "save"). Independent if these record are saved in the DB or not.
    Any idea what might be happening
    Is it related that I do not get the "Save" confirmation message when I add a new record and hit save for example? How do I get this confirmation message back?

    Yes, that might well be related.
    You probably performed an ADF drag and drop action in one of your pages, which causes the default ADF Phase listener to be added to the faces-config.xml. If you remove this <phase-listener> entry everything should work OK again.

  • GR non valuated check box in PO

    Dear All,
    Our client has created a PO for Asset (Acct Assignment A) and Multiple acct assignment given in item detail.
    After making GRN found that Accounting entry is not there.
    When checked in PO GR-non valuated check box is checked.
    After cancelling GRN and try to save the PO,again tick appears automatically.
    When i check the Account assignment in SPRO, GR non valuated check box is not checked.
    How to remove  GR non valuated tick in PO?

    I wrote the same issue to SAP and sap has confirmed that system will not generate the accounting documents at the time of MIGO for multiple account assignment.
    Incase of multiple account assignment category, the Cost proportion will not be appearing at the time of MIGO. It will get updated only at the time of Invoice verification.
    Just post the MIRO and then compare the account document at the time of MIRO with the single account assignment and multiple acc.assignmnet PO.Hope it will help.
