Search of  Blog Asset show's Zero Results

HI,
I have installed blog assets but when I am searching for a Blog_Asset in contributor it displays no results whereas I have checked the entries in Blog_Asset table it contains 28 entries. What could be issue ? Is the issue related to resultsetcashe ? I have invalidated the resultsetcache but no change.
Any help is Appreciated.
Thanks,
Pratush

Hello Pratush,
Are you talking about the Community Blogs module?
Try rebuilding the index for the FW_BlogParent and FW_BlogAsset asset types from the Admin tab -> Search -> Configure Global Search. Select Re-index, then select those two asset types, then click Ok.
Wait a minute or so, then try searching in the contibutor UI again.
If you're referring to a different kind of Blog asset you can try the same thing for your specific Blog asset type.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Stephan.

  • Tag Cloud to show search terms with zero results

    I have been following the blue print document that we have regarding our OEID system which is under development at present.
    We have a field called Search Terms which contains the text the user or the navigation has searched for. At present we have a tag cloud that shows the most popular. We also need to show the ones which are at the top of the "yeild zero results" list.
    Looking at the Tag Cloud component and after reading the documentation on the tag cloud, it would not seem possible to create an EQL query to do this. Therefore would I have to create a custom attribute when I'm parsing our raw data to do this, then be able to display the 30 or so most popular search terms that yeild zero results, or is there a better way of doing this?

    That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Iweb site working great but blog not showing in Google Search

    Not sure how to get my iweb blog to show up in Google searches.  I am using iweb seo tool, and all my other pages on the site are searchable on Google, but the blog entries are not. It's been a month or more.  Is this something that's happening on the blog pages only because I"m using my ftp and not publishing through mobileme?  Not necessary that I have comments, but I would like the blog entries to be searchable.  Thanks!

    iWeb SEO Tool allows you to add the title tag and meta descritption for the Google entry...
    http://www.iwebformusicians.com/Search-Engine-Optimization/Tags.html
    To get the spiders to this info you need to give them a sitemap with all the URLs to crawl. Blog HTML files are buried in a sub folder so you need to provide the path.

  • A php search engine that only shows results that match entire serch string

    I have set up a dreamweaver search engine through php and a fulltext search (WHERE MATCH (....) AGAINST (...). However, when someone inputs more than one word into the search form, the search engine churns out results that only have one of those words. How do I get it to only show results that have all the search string words inside? (or, at least, how do I get those results to show up at the top?)
    I have seen some advice (here) that uses php code to process the search query, divide up the words, and place a BOOLEAN '+' between each of the words. By doing this, the search engine will only show results that fully match all the terms.
    My problem is that I do not know how to put this code into my Dreamweaver-created code.
    My dreamweaver created code:
    <?php
    if (!function_exists("GetSQLValueString")) {
    function GetSQLValueString($theValue, $theType, $theDefinedValue = "", $theNotDefinedValue = "")
      if (PHP_VERSION < 6) {
        $theValue = get_magic_quotes_gpc() ? stripslashes($theValue) : $theValue;
      $theValue = function_exists("mysql_real_escape_string") ? mysql_real_escape_string($theValue) : mysql_escape_string($theValue);
      switch ($theType) {
        case "text":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? "'" . $theValue . "'" : "NULL";
          break;
        case "long":
        case "int":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? intval($theValue) : "NULL";
          break;
        case "double":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? doubleval($theValue) : "NULL";
          break;
        case "date":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? "'" . $theValue . "'" : "NULL";
          break;
        case "defined":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? $theDefinedValue : $theNotDefinedValue;
          break;
      return $theValue;
    $form_rsSearch = "-1";
    if (isset($_get['search'])) {
      $form_rsSearch = $_get['search'];
    mysql_select_db($database_dataConnect, $dataConnect);
    $query_rsSearch = sprintf("SELECT title, content FROM encyclopedia WHERE MATCH (title, content) AGAINST (%s)", GetSQLValueString($form_rsSearch, "text"));
    $rsSearch = mysql_query($query_rsSearch, $dataConnect) or die(mysql_error());
    $row_rsSearch = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsSearch);
    $totalRows_rsSearch = mysql_num_rows($rsSearch);
    $input_rsSearchResults = "-1";
    if (isset($_GET['search'])) {
      $input_rsSearchResults = $_GET['search'];
    mysql_select_db($database_EMdataConnect, $dataConnect);
    $query_rsSearchResults = sprintf("SELECT title, content FROM encyclopedia WHERE MATCH(title, content) AGAINST(%s)", GetSQLValueString($input_rsSearchResults, "text"));
    $rsSearchResults = mysql_query($query_rsSearchResults, $dataConnect) or die(mysql_error());
    $row_rsSearchResults = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsSearchResults);
    ?>
    and the code the website (link above) gives is:
    function search(String $search_string) {
         //strip Boolean search characters out of search string
         $search_string = string_replace($search_string,"+","");
         $search_string = string_replace($search_string,"-","");
         $search_string = string_replace($search_string,"*","");
         //split the search string up into an array of words
         Array $tokenized_search = split($search_string, " ");
         //init an empty final search string
         String $processed_search = "";
         //for each word in the search, wrap it
         //with an + and * character and then append
         //it to the processed_search variable
         foreach($tokenized_search as $token) {
              $processed_search+="+"+$token+"* ";
         //build the sql for the query and query the DB
         String $db_query = "select id, description
              from product_descriptions
              where MATCH(description)
              AGAINST ('"+$processed_search+"' IN BOOLEAN MODE)";
         Array results = execute_database_query($db_query);
         return results;
    If anyone can instruct me on the correct way to go about this, I would be very much obliged.
    Thank you,
    YWSW

  • Search site description not showing results

    I have the site description set (from site setting-> title, description and logo) in the site but when i search the description, the site won't show up in results. we have the url covered in content source and crawl rule, and a full crawl ran, actually
    the page content can be searchable in the site.
    any idea?

    Hi Zhongmingzhao,
    As per my understanding, you had created site with description and when you search with created site description, you are not getting search results.
    Had you tried searching any documents in the site.
    Is there crawled propertied mapped.
    I recommend try searching with site name or any documents inside the site, hope that could help you.
    Thanks.

    Hello Guys,
    I am creating resultsource from central admin. If I create it from central admin it works fine. But if I am creating result source from power shell scripts it shows me following error message.

  • Calculated column shows all zeros in cross tab discoverer report

    Hi
    I have a calculated column in a cross tab report which shows all zeros, but when i duplicate the report as 'table' the calculated colun is getting populated.
    i did not understand why it is doing like that, are there any special privileges or any special settings required for creating a cross tab report.

    Hi,
    No there is no special privs for cross tab but there is an aggregation issue.
    There are some methods of aggregations used in the discoverer.
    First thing you can so is to make sure that in the cross tab sheet you use the detailed data points and that you are not combining different levels of aggregations (for example one amount in details and another one summed).
    Second thing you can try is to change the aggregation for this worksheet, you can do that by going to the worksheet properties to the aggregation tab and try to change the settings.
    Third thing is to check the pref.txt file in the application server and set "AllowAggregationOverRepeatedValues" to 1
    BTW also search your data and find whether you got NULL values in the aggregated items, if so then wrap the data points with NVL function.

  • Blog page shows blank in iweb, but can see entries

    blog page shows blank in iweb, but can see entries. I have search fro many help hints and currently I have deleted the Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWeb.plist and restarted (done this a few times) and fixed permissions.
    If there is no fix for this, then can someone tell me if I can create a new blog then add the old entries to a new blog ??

    Alrighty... i might have found a way to make your blog page shown again.. it's a lot of work tho! Especially if u have had a lot in your entries...
    I only have 20 or so entries... What i did was, changing the blog page theme to another theme that has similarities in the blog layout page.. and then switching it back to the theme that you have...
    ex. My original theme is the Modern Frame.. I switch it to Water Color theme (check if your blog page is there..) then switch it back to your original theme.
    It's not done yet! You have to edit your entries again, in order to get your web original look! i edited it per post! make sure you keep saving it after you edited a little bit of stuff, just to make sure you won't lose it AGAIN...
    Once I'm done, i even save another copy of a domain file on my desktop.. you know, just in case..
    Mac should fix this iweb problems.. Thank god i only have a few posts by now.. What about people who has hundreds of post...
    iWeb should come in handy.. Not giving us more problems..

  • How can I show all the results returned by a sql query?

    Hi guys,
    I need your help.
    Let's say I have one table: TableA. Fields of TableA are aleg, anon, apes. The following sentence can return, in general, several rows: select anon from TableA where aleg = somevalue. I'd like to show the result of column anon but no luck. If I try to show the results in a TextArea and the origin is an sql query only shows the first row value. I tried Show as: show as text (based in PLSQL) and coding an anonymous plsql block as
    DECLARE
    v_anon TableA.anon%TYPE;
    CURSOR v_cur IS
         select anon from TableA where aleg = somevalue;
    BEGIN
    OPEN v_cur;
    LOOP
    FETCH v_cur INTO v_anon;
    EXIT WHEN v_cur%NOTFOUND;
    :FIELD_IN_FORM := v_anon;
    END LOOP;
    CLOSE v_cur;
    END;
    but in this case it's not shown any result.
    So the first question is what kind of field should I use to show the result. And the second one is what can I do to being able to show all the results returned by the query (provided that is more than one single row).
    regards

    Hi Denes,
    Just starting with apex. I think I know how to show the results in a report region. I've simplified the posted question.
    A more detailed question would be: Suppose you have a region where you have put several text areas to accommodate the result of a multi-column query (lets say for TableA) that only returns one row, each column value returned put in a different text area. Also you want to show the values of other fields in TableB that depends on some value just retrieved from TableA and that you want all values retrieved (from TableA and the linked TableB) to be show in the same region. Is that possible? If yes, how?
    Thank you in advance

  • Stored proc returns zero result

    Hello, please help me. I am quite new to oracle stored
    procedures. I have a proc that returns data to cfm but it keeps
    giving zero results. But if i don't use stored proc, the same query
    gives me something. please help. my stored proc and cfm goes

    suppose to return something . Any help is much appreciated. Thank
    you. *********

    just an update. i found out that it has something to do with
    the condition "IN". the values there is supposed to be a list (e.g.
    a,b,c,d,e,f,g). What I suspect is that when in stored proc, it
    interprets in the query as "IN('a,b,c,d,e,f,g')" instead of
    "IN('a','b','c','d','e','f','g')" which is what I actually want.
    I have also tried the quotedvaluelist in cfm but still no
    result, so i suspect again, using quotedvaluelist, that it
    interprets in the proc as "IN(''a','b','c','d','e','f','g'')".
    Can anybody help me whit this so i can have the proc
    interpret my IN condition as "IN('a','b','c','d','e','f','g')"?
    Thanks.

  • WMI Query to SCCM 2012 results zero results in c#

    In 2007 this works without issues, however in 2012 when attempting the 2nd query it returns zero results.  However if I do this manually I can produce results...Here is my code:
    using (WqlConnectionManager connection = Connect(getServer))
       string query = "select * from SMS_ObjectContainerItem WHERE ContainerNodeID='" + ProfileID + "'";
       foreach (IResultObject getobject in connection.QueryProcessor.ExecuteQuery(query))
         getPackageID = getobject["InstanceKey"].StringValue;
         query = "select * from SMS_Collection WHERE CollectionID='" + getPackageID + "'";
    **This is where it will return zero results**
         foreach (IResultObject searchID in connection.QueryProcessor.ExecuteQuery(query))
            CMProfiles profile = new CMProfiles();
            profile.Name = searchID["Name"].StringValue;
            profile.ID = getPackageID;
            results.Add(profile);
    I'm pulling my hairs trying to understand by the 2nd query is not returning any results. When this works fine in SCCM 2007

    What you are using here are the SDK libraries, which are admittedly very thin wrappers around WMI, but not quite.  Have you tried implementing this directly using WMI?  I have written software that manipulates 2007 / 2012 and eventually found that
    the SDK libraries just sort of got in my way, so now I do all of my interactions with SCCM directly with WMI and forgoe the SDK libraries.
    Before I changed over, I did find that there are some oddities in using the SDK.  What I eventually found that worked for me was to bind to the 2007 SDK libraries, deliver them with my application and use the 2007 libraries regardless of if I was connecting
    to 2007 or 2012.  What I found was that I would run into issues using the 2012 libraries to talk to 2007, but the 2007 libraries would work fine with both.
    I have tested your queries, directly using WMI and PowerShell on a 2012 server and they work fine.  I am presuming that the folder that you are attempting to access is a Device Collection folder.
    Once again, I would suggest using WMI directly, especially if making a product that will work with 2007 and 2012; you will be a much happier person.
    It would be greatly appreciated if you would mark any helpful entries as helpful and if the entry answers your question, please mark it with the Answer link.
