Searching for an OCI Demo Catalog

Hello altogether,
am looking for an Demo OCI Catalog - which I can use for testing in SRM.
Does anybody know, if there is an test catalog in web?
Would be glad, if someone could help me.
Best Regards,
J.H.

If they are different product categories you will be required to map to your own.
This can be done via BADI 'BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER'.
Hope this helps.
Keith
The details for this badi are below:
Transfer Shopping Cart from Catalog
You can use the Business Add-In BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER to change or add to the data that the catalog returns to SAP Enterprise Buyer via the catalog interface.
Note that your changes also affect the following applications in SAP Enterprise Buyer:
Confirm Goods Receipt/Service Entry
Plan Products for Maintenance Order
The call of this BAdI occurs in function module 'BBP_WS_IMPORT_SC_DATA'. This module is called by the relevant application to import catalog items previously sent by the browser of the user to the application Web server from there. After the catalog has transferred the data to SAP Enterprise Buyer the system carries out the following actions.
Conversion of ISO code of unit of measure and currency to SAP format
Conversion of price field to SAP format
In the case of transfer of a material or service number:
The system reads the product master with this number. If the number exists, the system transfers from the product master record the description and the purchase order unit of measure.
In the case of a partner number:
The system reads the business partner master with this number. If the number does not exist, the number in the shopping cart item is reset.
Note
In previous Releases, only the tables with the prefix "ENRICHED" were available. These were then returned to the calling application and transferred to the relevant document structure from there. From this Release on, the data is transferred from the current document structure to the application. The relevant tables are included as additional parameters (parameters with the prefix "ET_SC_").
New implementations should use these tables only and set the parameter "ev_sc_structures_used". In order that previous implementations need not be changed, a mapping occurs after the BADI. The parameter controls the mapping direction:
Set: New structure overwrites old structure
Not set: Old structure overwrites new structure
In the method ENRICH_ITEM_DATA, the following parameters are available:
catalog_content
This parameter contains the original data that the catalog transferred to the catalog interface. The structure corresponds exactly to the catalog interface. The data in this parameter is only for information purposes, you make any changes in the parameters et_sc_item_data , et_sc_accounting, et_sc_partner, et_sc_orgdata, et_sc_longtext, and et_sc_messages.
Note
The catalog interface also contains customer fields that you can use for your own purposes. You can pass these on in fields that the application can use further.
enriched_item_data
This parameter contains the data for a shopping cart item in Enterprise Buyer.
Note
This table should not be used in new implementations (see above Note).
enriched_acct_data
This parameter contains all account assignment fields. This parameter is empty at this time in the standard system.
Note
This table should not be used in new implementations (see above Note).
enriched_item_longtext
This parameter contains the long texts for the items.
Note
This table should not be used in new implementations (see above Note).
catalog_content_errors
This parameter contains the error messages that occurred when the catalog items were being enriched.
Note
This table should not be used in new implementations (see above Note).
ev_sc_structures_used
This parameter has to be set if the following tables are used in the implementation (recommended procedure, see Note above) et_sc_item_data This parameter contains the data of a shopping cart item in Enterprise Buyer.
et_sc_accounting
This parameter contains all account assignment fields. In the standard system, this parameter is empty at this time.
et_sc_partner
This parameter contains the links to the requester and the supplier, if used.
et_sc_orgdata
This parameter contains the links to the org. data for the partners from et_sc_partner.
et_sc_longtext
This parameter contains the long texts for the items.
et_sc_messages
This parameter contains the error messages that occurred during enrichment of catalog items. If this table contains a message of type 'E', the item causing this error is not transferred to et_sc_item_data. If the item is added in the BADI again (from the data from catalog_content), the relevant error message should be deleted, since the current SRM Server application generally searches this table for error messages of type 'E' in order to output an error message to the user.

  • How can I: Search for files "not in catalog"

Is there a way to search for files/photos on my hard drive that are *NOT* already in my catalog?
    (a) I can do a mass search to find all photos on my hard drive.
    (b) And there is a reconnect feature - for all entries in catalog with a missing/invalid link, look for the file that matches best.
But I'd like to have Elements find photos that I have not added to the catalog.
That is, do (a), but check each one to see if it is already added.
Is there a way to do that?
    Thanks,
      -ceej

What you want to achieve by finding those files?
In folder view you can see the folder which have no media files in Organizer.
If you import all the files form all the drives on your system, by deafult you will see files just imported into catalog. That means, just after import ou will have the files which were not in your catalog :-)
I know my  answer could be confusing for you, but it will make sense if you know what happens after import in Organizer...

  • Searching for duplicates in PSE catalog?

I am experiencing numerous duplicate photo images in my PSE catalog. I woud like to do a search of the catalog and bulk remove the duplicates. Is there a way to do this?

See that faq by John R Ellis:
    http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_Find_and_delete
    That works with PSE6.
Once you have selected a number of files, you can either:
    - right click, choose stack and automatically suggest photo stacks
    - or the find menu, 'by visual similarity'

  • OCI mapping for External Punch Out Catalog - SRM

    Dear SRM Gurus,
We are using SRM 7.0 Classic scenario.
We have a scenario to External punch out catalog. I am  aware of Web service call structure, UI config and  BADIs.
But I am very much confused that how exactly the External Catalog data will be mapped to SRM? Where would be the inbound OCI mapping done for External Punch out catalog.
    Kindly share your knowledge.
    Thanks.
    Regarsd, Magesh.

    Magesh,
The OCI field mapping is done as specified in OCI 4.0 specification. If you like technical details on exactly where the mapping happens, you can search for FM OCI. Also, the CATALOG_TRANSFER BADI can be used to read the data that has been mapped and change if needed.

  • Searching for images with no keywords in large catalogs - LR5

I have a catalog with several thousand images and 98% have keywords. Is there any way to do a global search for the images which I may have missed adding keywords to?

Thanks Geoff, that was very helpful!

  • Steps for Mapping OCI Catalog with R3 ISA (ERP E-Commerce)

    Hi Gurus,
I just needed some help on how to go about integrating R3 ISA with OCI Catalog. Please provide reference to some relevant documentation if available.
    Thanks.
    Jai

Technically other than some [XCM settings and configuration|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/2f/86653fac7ab21ae10000000a114084/content.htm] that define the external catalog URL, there isn't much needed to integrate a OCI compliant catalog - provided, you already have a OCI compliant catalog.
Start here on some technical information on OCI catalogs - [/people/masayuki.sekihara/blog/2007/12/07/oci-open-catalog-interface-setting-and-trouble-shooting|/people/masayuki.sekihara/blog/2007/12/07/oci-open-catalog-interface-setting-and-trouble-shooting]

  • Searching for a single keyword in lightroom 5

    Hi there,
I am a newbie to lightroom 5 and I am slowly learning the power of keywords.
    My question is,
I have 1000's of images of my daughter in my catalog I have key worded all of them. There are some images with her on her own or with me, the mum, nan, granddad etc etc. I have also key worded the photos with, for example me. So on an image the key word is annie, nick. When I go to the 'text' search in the library list I type in annie and every single image of her comes up be it with me the nan, the mum etc. My daughter has hundreds of image with different family members. How do I just get the search to pick "annie" as the keyword and not the rest of the keywords in the catalog.
    For example,
I know I can do a search like this, annie, !nick, !mum, !granddad etc etc, but this is so time consuming. Is there a character that can tell lightroom that you only want the image of annie with no one else or nothing else.
I am aware you can select all of the singular images of my daughter and create a collection with just her but this is also time consuming.
Another way this would be annoying is if you had images of trees for example, some trees might be taken by a water fall, mountain, road, picnic table or just one on its own. you might have hundreds of tree image on there own and hundreds of images of trees with a feature. If you try and search for just a tree or trees with nothing else in the image your search result is going to bring up every single image with a tree in it. Not just the images of a tree.
Hope this makes some sort of sense. I have searched all over the internet and there doesn't seem to be an option for this. Or maybe I am missing something. If I'm not missing something and this just isn't possible maybe lightroom designers could look at implementing this search criteria in future updates.
    Regards,
    Nick.

I have tried that and i think i am more confused. Its going to take me a while to learn this stuff. I have done the ! option and have narrowed it down to the images I want and have created a collection with just the images I wanted. I think I am going to have to think ahead with the keywording in the future. I will get there, its all trial and error at the moment.
Its only a problem at the moment as I have an external hard drive so I have just added 'ADD" all images (over 4000) to lightroom from there as I want to save all future photos I do on the external hard drive. I am reluctant to fill my new IMAC with loads of images and take up loads of space. With photos I do in the future I will be saving on the imac probably and backing up on my external hard drive. The 4000 images are from the last year or so before I got this MAC.
When I do future photo shoots etc it will be easier to move the images to the correct folders as I will be working on a lot less images. So I believe in the future it will be more managable. Trying to key word 1000's of images at the same time has confused me a bit.
Cheers for you inputs peeps, appreciate it.

  • How to search for a text node with a particular value in an xml document with labview

supposing i have the following xml document:
    <head>
    <book>
    <bookname>zio</bookname>
    <author>dan</author>
    </book>
    <book>

    <book>
    <bookname>the beard</bookname>
    <author>derrick</author>
    </book>
    </head>
i want to search for the author of the book "the beard" using for example the V.I Get first match  of labview to access the the node with value "the beard" and then use Get next sibling  V.I  and Get node text content to get get the author of this book..so my question is how do i write the xpath expression for Get first match so as to access the node with bookname "the beard" instantyly?  am trying to minimise the use of loops because they increase the time duration,..thank you (NB:i dont want to use Get all Matched V.I because it obliges me to use a loop in order to access the name derrick and this increases the time duration for my v.i)
    Solved!

Since it's all text, why not use a real quick Match Pattern (or Regular Expression, but you don't need that much power here), see attached.

  • Unable to search for words in a pdf document

I am using Adobe Reader Ver 10.1.1 (All updates)
I have a pdf document in which I am unable to search for words. No words in the document are found even though they do exist. If I copy a word from within the document and paste it into the search criteria then instead of getting the word that I copied, I get substitute characters and it can in fact find these characters as the word being searched.
The document is a catalog and can be downloaded from the following URL.
    http://www.carbatec.com.au/getcatalogue?zenid=d1cuvbat0ois0g37r0r33vnah1
I will appreciate any help as to why I cannot search for words in the document.

Thank you Dave Merchant and try67 for your responses. As per my previous post, I contacted the company re the catalogue and they have responded favourably. I'll include their response because it gives the reason for the search failure as document compression which you might find interesting. I'll await their new catalogue and see if they have fixed the problem.
    Company response:
Thank you very much for your input.  And yes, you are correct, the compression we used for the current catalogue's PDF format does strip out text included in the catalogue.  We used the compression settings we did with the intention of minimising download time, however I take your point about including text for search purposes (which I also utilise when I'm scanning through PDFs).
We will actually be posting out our new catalogue next week and we'll release the new PDF version on the website at the same time.  I've asked our graphic designer to ensure that the PDF we use for the new catalogue includes searchable text.

  • PSE10 Crashes when searching for duplicate photos

    Hello,
I recently upgraded to PSE10 and imported my catalog from a different machine (which had been running XP).  Unfortunately, I ended up with a bunch of duplicate entries in the catalog, one with the path c:\users\... the other with c:\my documents\...  These paths both point to the same image on the hard drive.
When I try to Search for Duplicate Photos (from Find>By Visual Searches), PSE invariably crashes.  I am running PSE10 under Windows 7 (full system info at the end of this message).
Any idea why this might be happening, and is there a different way I can remove the duplicate entries in the catalog?
    Thanks,
    Chris

If I understand well, what you are calling 'duplicates' are duplicate entries in the catalog, the same media being called either by its original path+filename or shortcut path+filename.
The organizer will try open two different files to compare them, but when trying to open the second 'shortcut', the file will be already blocked (in use). That could explain the failure of the comparison for similarity.
Try creating a new catalog with similar images, for instance jpegs and png copies. Does the visual search work ?
About backup and restore : If my supposition is right, that should work if you try to restore to a new custom location with keeping the file structure : the backup should create real file duplicates on different paths. If it works, finding visual duplicate should work, although this process may take a very long time.

  • Searching for phrases in Acrobat Professional 7.0

    Hi folks,
I would like to search for a phrase like "ethic issue" in many single pdf-documents with Index-Searching (Catalog). Can anyone give me a little tip, whether and how is this possible in Acrobat Professional 7.0?
    That would be great!

  • How to search for all files w Metadata mismatch?

    I Upgraded recently from LR2.6 to 3.3.
Many of my images have an Exclamation Mark on them, following the upgrade, informing me that there is a Metadata Mismatch...
When I click on it I get this Dialogue box:
Firstly I think LR developers are playing with potentially important information with a lack of care and consideration. I looked at the metadata in 'File Info' in Photoshop before clicking anything: the creation date was the date the file was created and much of the camera data was missing. After I clicked Overwrite Settings all the original data was back on the file. I have no idea how this came to pass exactly, but it shows metadata is an easily lost thing.
If Adobe care about their customers I would think they would make it more clear what was at stake here!
Secondly I would like to know if there is a way to search for all images with this issue to save me having to go through and do it one by one, possibly thousands of times?

I am not sure what the meaning of different values in column sidecarStatus and externalXmpIsDirty mean. This is what I've found out by trial and error:
sideCarStatus = 1 seems to mean "Settings have changed in Catalog compared to XMP"
sideCarStatus = 7 seems to be OK
externalXmpIsDirty = 1 seems to mean "Settings have changed in XMP compared to Catalog"
    sideCarStatus = 1 AND externalXmpIsDirty = 1seems to be a Metadata Conflict
The meaning of sideCarStatus > 1 is unknown to me
I usually run the query and then look at the single images reported in LR.
IMHO, this metadata matching is one of the weaker points in LR. I have encountered several conflict situations where I can be 100% sure I have not changed anything on the image outside of LR, and I have "Automatically write Changes to XMP" active. So a conflict should never arise.

  • How Can I stop Elements 7 from searching for a memory file?

Recently, every time I turn on Elements 7 it starts searching for a missing file each time it encounters a photo with a "?" in the corner. I must have pressed a key somewhere to start this function but now I can't get it to stop. I can only continue to another photo if I press cancel while it is searching but I have to do this for each "?" marked picture. Is there any way of cancelling this feature? Thanks in anticipation.

    Two solutions:
    1. Uncheck the option Edit > Preferences > Files > Automatically Search For And Reconnect Missing Files.
    2. Either reconnect the missing files or delete them from the catalog, using the File > Reconnect > All Missing command.  See this FAQ for tips on how to use the command:
    http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_Quickly_reconnecting_large
Leaving missing files in your catalog doesn't have any benefit.

  • Searching for a file name?

    Hey Guys,
Is there a way to fine the name of a text file? For example, I have 3 files 1235.txt, 2568.txt, and 2568.txt. I need to find one of these files and write user info into each one and then update the file with current user info.
I was just wonder if there is anyway you could search for a file name?
The reason I need to do this is because I want to store user details into seperate files, because I don't really want to use a random access file and using one file for all the users seems alot harder, when finding a file users info...
    Thanks Guys,

PS. I will post the code if required.... Thanks Again

O yeah, I remember (google refresh my memory) this is what we were going to use in the first place except.. Because we must demo the program on completely locked down computers we can't install the drivers (that's what I was told) So, we can't use it...

  • Organizer. not able to turn off "automatic search for missing files"

Organizer starts searching for missing files. files that i have deleted, and the programme just keep on forever searching for those already deleted files. When i try to turn off that function, the organizer just stops. Running the program on Imac 2010.

That's the thing with the Elements Organizer - once you start managing your media in it you must also use it for all subsequent maintenance so that it retains integrity.
To try and resolve the Find> all Missing Files crash problem go to File> Manage Catalogs and Repair your current catalog. Follow that with an Optimize. See if you can now find them without the crash.
If Find> All Missing Files is still causing a crash, you could try File> Reconnect> All Missing Files. As that searches your entire hard disk for one image at a time, and will take a very long time if you did a lot of deletions with your EasyDuplicateFinder program, wait for it to finish examining your catalog then cancel the attempt to find each image. Now in your organizer each of the missing files thumbnails will have a question mark at top left - you can then delete these from the catalog. After you've done quite a few retry Find> All Missing Files again to see if it will run without crashing.
