Security check before displaying data in SXMB_MONI tcode

Hi All,
I need help in integrating a security check before displaying the archived data when we execute SXMB_MONI tcode.
Only authorized person can view the archived HR related data .
My analysis-There is no BADI or user exit to include a code to check for the authorization.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Mangai.

Hi Soumya,
Yes, the issues was resolved in my case. There was problem with certificates and their mismatch was causing this issue.
You need make sure that certificate for signing and encryption are correct at your end and also same certificates (with same public keys) are used at your third party application to decrypt and validate the signed message you send.

  • Pre Checks before running Data Pump Export/Import

    Hi,
    Oracle :-11.2
    OS:- Windows
Kindly share the pre-checks required for data pump export and import which should be followed by a DBA.
    Thanks

When you do a tablespace mode export, Data Pump is essentially doing a table mode export of all of the tables in the tablespaces mentioned.  So if you have this:
    tablespace a    contains table 1
                                              table 2
                                             index 3a(on table 3)
tablespace b   contains index 1a on table 1
                                             index 2a on table 2
                                            table 3
and if you expdp tablespaces=a ...
you will get table 1, table 2, index 1a, and index 2a.
My belief is that you will not get table 3 or index 3a.  The way I understand the code to work is that you get the tables in the tablespaces you mention and their dependent objects, but not the other way around.  You could easily verify this to make sure.

  • User Exit for tcode PA20 check before displaying the employee details.

    Dear All,
I want to restrict some of the user to see the details of some employee..  Can you please suggest how I can achieve this.. I would like the user from viewing the details of the employee even if employee comes in the  help. If user select these employee and select an  infotype to view the details a message should come You are not allowed to see this details'.
It will be good if we can stop these employee from even coming in the F4 help.
    Regards,
    Vidya.

    Hi JB,
Infact we are using the structural authorisation concept.  The requirements is to allow the user to see the employee belonging to one site only while the user should be able to view the complete org structure..
We have achieved this by creating a profile which gives access to the complete org unit and restricting the employee for site specific value. This we have achieved by creating a profile in tcode OOSP and then assigning this to the user in OOSB.
This works fine and user is able to see complete org unit and only the people belonging to his site but he is also able to see all the employee who has left the company irrespective of their site.
We don't want the user to see leaver from other site so we were thinking of writting some some code which will stop them from coming in the help or if they appear in the help then stop user from viewing the details of other site leaver.
Please suggest any other way if possible..
    Thanks,
    Vidya.

  • Checks before deleting data connection in Infopath 2010

I have one form which has more than 80 fields and about  7 sections. This form was published to PROD before year back now client found some performance issues while opening/submitting form.
I checked and found one retrieve data connection is culprit. Now i want to delete that connection and create different one, but before deleting it, i have to find out all the references of this connections i.e- check where any columns used in rules, default
    values or validations etc.
It's difficult and time consuming task to check each and every field in the form. Is there any easy trick to do this?
    w: sandippatilblog.blogspot.com/

Found the solution, here below are the check
1: Run Rule Inspector, for this go to DATA-->Rule Inspector form toolbar
2: Delete the connection and try to publish the form, if form contains any rules or default value corresponding to deleted connection then form will not get published. It will give prompt to check errors, for this check the form using design check and see
errors, then find the references about the errors on the form.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

  • Hyperlinks in table component? Data processing before display?

    Hi all!
I have following problem to solve - I have some database tables I need to show on a page. Creating a DataProvider and using it works really fine even with parameters in my query.
But I have some columns with data that needs processing after fetching from data base (e.g. one colum has a value 20060925 with should be shown as date). Who can I do this - implementing my own data provider is the only thing I can think of.
Second, I need one column in my table to be a hyperlink, changing column type will do, but sometimes I would like a simple text (when there are no details to link to). Any ideas for this one?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jan

You can use the date time converter to display date. or then you can also use the sql function to format the date field before displaying...
for example, If you are using an Oracle database, use the SQL Timestamp converter instead.

  • How would you check URLs in a page before displaying?

Any ideas how this could be done in Portal?
    Any thoughts appreciated..
    Colin

Are you talking about "dead link detection" having portal parse
and check if any page links are invalid before displaying them?
So the portal would parse each page, check each non-portal
generated link and test the http: connection before displaying
    the page? (ouch on performance...)
    or
Are you talking about creating a porlet that checks itself
    before displaying raw html?
    or
Are you talking about an utility that goes out and checks a
given portal page name building, parseing, checking, and
providing a report that shows all the dead links? This utility
would function like some of the HTML web authoring tools do.
Option #3 would be a great portal administration feature.
Dead link detection utility or report build into portal.
Any chance of getting "Dead Link Detection" in the next release
    of portal?

  • Checking the master data automatically before the payroll run...

    Hi Friends,
Can anyone tell me that, is it possible to check the master data automatically before the payroll run.
If any user forget to maintain any important info-type ( like Cost Distribution ) in time of master data maintenance, SAP allow the Payroll system to run the payroll for that employee. Only in time of account posting the user is able to know the problem and due to rectify the problem they have to delete the payroll.
So, I therefore wants to know that is there any check point or can customized any such things, which will check the necessary info-types before running payroll and generate an error massage about the missing info-type and also skip the processing for that person.
    With regards,
    Diptendu

    have
    a look at this report
but before that make sure wht are the mandatory infotypes that are maintained to the employee so that u can come to an idea what are infotypes that are maintained for the memployee

  • Missing authorization check to display master data error..

    Hi,
    We are in SRM7.0.
After adding content in my shopping cart, I am trying to change the Account Assignment in the Item Details from Network to Cost Center or GL Account.
Under Item Overview, after changing the Account Assignment to Cost Center, I go to "Assign Number" to add a Cost center..On clicking the matchcode search box,  I get selection entries like Cost Center, Controlling area etc..If I click on the Search box without keying anything, I get a "Missing authorization check to display master data error".
I get the same error, when I try to select Assets under Account Assignment area and use search under Assign number. I dont get any errors on searching networks.
Am we missing any authorization check in the backend ?
    Regards,
    Rajan.K

    Hello Rajan,
You could use transaction ST01 in SRM to perform some 'authorisation' trace.
It might give you some pointers to the issue.

  • Displaying security banner before login in ASDM

Is there a way to modify the ASDM launcher or related files to display the ASDM security banner prior to a user logging on?  Or does Cisco have plans to modify or allow to change when the ASDM security banner is displayed?  This is currently a requirement in NERC CIP Standard CIP-005-3 R2.6.

The correct way is to throw ALMException which is then displayed in the status box

  • Display data from a virtual InfoCube

    Hi experts,
When I tryed to display data from the virtual InfoCube 0FIGL_V40, I've got a dump.
Please help me to solve this problem.

    Dear Akshay,
Is it possible that the problem comes from R/3 since when I check the extractor 0FI_GL_40 with the RSA3 Tcode I've got the message:
Errors occurred during the extraction --- Message no. RJ012
I think that the pb has been solved by switching on the business function "Reporting Financials" . Inthe SAP source System -> TA: SFW5. Turn on Reporting Financials. Then I've no pb while testing the extractor.
    Pb solved.
    Many thanks

  • Display Data Flow - Short Dump

    Hi all,
When i select display data flow of any cube...it is going for a short dump.
I have searched for the answer in previous Forum questions. I could find only for previous BW versions but not for for BI7.
Could you please let me know the solution for this issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Eswari

    Hi All,
Thank you very much for all of your responces.....
I am working on Support Package 10.
Here is the detailed description of the short dump.
    Short text
The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.
    What happened?
The current application program detected a situation which really
should not occur. Therefore, a termination with a short dump was
triggered on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (type X).
    What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
        administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
    Error analysis
        Short text of error message:
GP: Control Framework returned an error; contact system administrator
        Long text of error message:
         Diagnosis
The Graphical Framework is based on the basis technology known as
the Control Framework. A method in the Control Framework returned
             an error.
         Procedure
It probably involves a programming error. You should contact your
             system administrator.
         Procedure for System Administration
Check the programming of the graphics proxy especially for the
parameters that were sent and, if necessary, correct your program.
        Technical information about the message:
        Message class....... "APPLG"
        Number.............. 229
        Variable 1.......... " "
        Variable 2.......... " "
        Variable 3.......... " "
        Variable 4.......... " "
    How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
        keywords:
        "MESSAGE_TYPE_X" " "
        "CL_AWB_OBJECT_NET_SAPGUI======CP" or "CL_AWB_OBJECT_NET_SAPGUI======CM005"
        "PBO"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
        1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
           In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
        Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
       4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.
    Thanks,
    Eswari.

  • Yoga 2 Kernel Security Check Failure

I have this Yoga 2 13' for almost two months. A few days after my purchase, the computer suddenly gave a blue screen and restarted. Then this BSODs became more frequent. The strange thing is that, I was in France for almost a month, and no BSODs happened. Now that I am in Turkey for a few days, the PC started to give out kernel security check failures.
Any suggestions for the resolution of the problem. Cause it's quite annoying to wait for the PC to crush before doing anything?

The strange thing is that, I was in France for almost a month, and no BSODs happened. Now that I am in Turkey for a few days, the PC started to give out kernel security check failures.
Any suggestions for the resolution of the problem. Cause it's quite annoying to wait for the PC to crush before doing anything?
