Select rows in custom Grid/Matrix form.

Hi,
I am creating custom Form(Screen) with Matrix Control,
now i want to select row and on click of OK button , i want to set currency values in Standard Sap :B1 Screen Fields(say Landed Cost)
but i am not able to select the rows,
Does anybody knows the code in vb about how to select single or multiple rows in Sap B1 user form(Screen)?

Selected row in a grid

Hi everybody,
How can I know which row is selected in a grid?
I can know it with pval.row when I work with the gridself, but how I can Know with a button?
Is there some property similar selectedRow that returns de number of row?

You can access it two ways.
1. oGrid.Rows.SelectedRows which returns you all the selected rows in a collection
or
2. do a loop and check
int selectedrow=0;
for(int i =0; i<oGrid.Rows.Count; i++)

Problem in selecting rows in ALV Grid

Hi All,
I am doing a ALV Grid program using Classes. when i select 2 rows from that grid and executes,
it going next screen. Again when i am using back button and selecting same rows or different rows from teh same Grid and executing it is not retrieving any rows. In dedugger it is showing that the there is no selection of rows.
Please suggest me the solution.

Selecting rows in ALV Grid using Classes

I am displaying the output in ALV grid format.
Now i am using cl_gui_alv_grid->Get_selected_ROWS to get the row index selected by User and on clicking a button it will take us to another screen which will hold the values of the selected row.
Problem Faced: But when we again go back to the first screen and select another row or same rows and click this button the selected rows index remains initial, that value is not getting captured.
I cleared the parameters and refershed grid also.
But the problem is not yet solved.
Please Give me the solution.

Getting selected rows in ALV grid output

As per my requirement, in the ALV output i have 3 push buttons (Display, Edit and Print).
Using the below code, I am trying to get the selected rows from the output.
    CALL METHOD ob_grid->check_changed_data
      CHANGING
        c_refresh = w_x.
    CALL METHOD ob_grid->get_selected_rows
      IMPORTING
        et_index_rows = is_rows.
When I execute the code wid Display/Edit push buttons it is working fine as long as Print button is not used.
If I use the Print button and then try to select any other push button, I am not getting the entries in is_rows internal table.

Would your user actually select a row if they wanted simply to print?   I don't see that you're checking to see if the user actually selected a row ( after et_index_rows = is_rows, need to be sure is_rows is not initial (zero)).    Debug should show you exactly what is happening in the situation you described.

Displaying the selected rows in ALV Grid output

Hi Experts,
I am developing one interactive ALV Grid report where user can process the selected records/rows from the ALV Grid output.
for displaying the ALV Grid, I have used the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID class. I am working on ECC 6.0 system.
when I select any records/rows from output and then press any Application Toolbar button, PAI and then PBO modules of the screen gets executed as per the normal flow.
however After PBO, when same ALV output comes, all the selected/highlighted rows appear as unselected, that means I want to retain the ALV
rows selection during the round trip.
please advise.

After upgrading to CF10, the selected row of my cfgrid is no longer passed on form post.

I have a cfform which contains a cfgrid and prior to the 9 to 10 update, upon submission of the cfform, the selected row of the grid was passed/posted to my form action page as:

After upgrading to CF10, and with no changes to the code, performing this same process, __CFGRID__gridForm__renewalGrid is still passed in the form scope to my action page, but now it is empty.
I have not yet uninstalled CF9, so I brought it up on a different port, and I can run the same code as CF9 or CF10 and watch... in 9 the selected row is passed, in 10 it is empty.
Is this a bug? Is there a work around? Please help.

appears that apple has changed SMB code, and now its not possible login from windows on mac.
i installed snow leopard and now works fine.
apple is capable to make it run paying new license of smb code, but isnted of this, apple has created new protocol smbx and now, all others need to adapt your code to apple..

How can I get the selected rows from two ALV grids at the same time?

I have a program that uses two ALV grids in one dialog screen. I'm using the OO ALV model (SALV* classes).
The user can select any number of rows from each grid. Then, when a toolbar pushbutton is pressed, I'd have to retrieve the selected rows from both grids and start some processing with these rows.
It is no problem to assign event handlers to both grids, and use the CL_SALV_TABLE->GET_SELECTIONS and CL_SALV_SELECTIONS->GET_SELECTED_ROWS methods to find out which rows were marked by the user. Trouble is, this only works when I raise an event in each grid separately, for instance via an own function that I added to the grid's toolbar. So, I can only see the selected rows of the same grid where such an event was raised.
If I try to do this in the PBO of the dialog screen (that contains the two grids), the result of CL_SALV_SELECTIONS->GET_SELECTED_ROWS will be empty, as the program does not recognize the marked entries in the grids. Also, an event for grid1 does not see the selected rows from grid2 either.
As it is right now, I can have an own button in both grid's toolbar, select the rows, click on the extra button in each grid (this will tell me what entries were selected per grid). Then, I'd have to click on a third button (the one in the dialog screen's toolbar), and process the selected rows from both grids.
How can I select the rows, then click on just one button, and process the marked entries from both grids?
Is it somehow possible to raise an event belonging to each grid programmatically, so that then the corresponding CL_SALV_SELECTIONS->GET_SELECTED_ROWS will work?

Event Select Rows in Matrix

Hi,
I'm have one form made in Screen Printer with one matrix. How do you create the event "select row" in a matrix so that when one double-clicks on the row, the informations goes to form on SBO Apllication ?
For example,
When you type ' * ' in the ItemNumber field and "Enter" in the form "Item Master Data", the form " Find (List of Itens)" opens up. This form opens the matrix with all itens and when you double-click on a row the information of that specific item goes to the Item Mater Data Form.
The language is C#.
Could someone help me out?

How to select row automatically in matrix (exp:automatic select row no 2)?

Hi
example i fill matrix row no 1 - 3 in serial number selection form or else (from database data)
and i want to automatic select row no 2
and i really have a big problem to do this
oQuant = edit text
oColumn = column
oForm = form
here some of my code

but it didn't work , it's said that not user defined item

it works but that not the select what i want

Thank You for your reply and yes i didn't write selection mode for my matrix
but when i tried both of these code it still didn't work (for information i'm using visual basic 6, so it has a different syntax about .net and VB6 - exp: for .net oMatrix.selectrow(2,true,false) , for VB6 oMatrix.selectrow 2,true,false )

is there any presiquities for selection mode ?? because I always have <b>warning</b> on oMatrix.selectionmode

Edit : it works when i created a form and select row no 2, but it didn't work with serial number selection form which the form is already exist in SBO (serial number selection is the form after klik add button in good issue form)

I use JDev 11.1 with ADF, i have grid, i need to get selected row of grid when i press buttom, how can i do that?

You have a table in your page that is based on a viewObject iterator and you need to get the selected row in your backing bean when you click on a button.
Did I get this right?
If so then you need to add an actionListener on this button that executes a method in the backing bean.
the button code:

                                    actionListener="#{myBean.buttonActionListener}"/>In this method you need to add code like this:
