Selecting a row after dataset has loaded

I have a situatioin where my server side logic supplies logic
to provide a possition in the XML to be selected.
EG:

and the server supplys a variable to say that "image 12 is
selected"
inline doesn't work as I guess the Javascript is firing
before the dataset is loaded:

so I want to be able to fire a callback(?) function once the
dataset is loaded
Is this possible? or is there another solution do achive this

How to set selection in UIPickerView after view has loaded?

I have a UIPickerView working just fine, and I can set the current selection when a button is clicked, but how can I set the current selection when the view appears?
I've tried to set the selection in viewDidLoad, viewDidAppear and viewWillAppear to no avail, I've also tried to do it in initWithNibName. Again no joy.
As far as I can tell, the sequence of events is that my nib gets loaded by the view, my UIPickerViewDelegate interface methods are called to configure the picker, but what message can I pick up after all that has occured to set the selection?

I use this in one of my apps and it works great. Once the view loads, the picker gets set to the value I want with a nice animation. Let's say you want to set it to row 3.

Of note: If you have the function - (void)viewWillAppear without the :(BOOL)animated part, it won't throw an error on compile, nor will it get called. Yes, I learned that firsthand.

How can I select the row after a cfgrid refresh?

I have a form that is bound to a cfgrid. The grid is populated from a database. When you navigate in the grid the data displayed in the form changes to match the selected row. I can edit the data in the form and update the database. After updating the data I refresh the cfgrid, which then displays the updated data.
Unfortunately the cfgrid always highlights the first row, row 0, after a refresh. I want to highlight the same row that was highlighted when the data was edited and saved. Can anyone advise as to how I can do that?
I have tried setting a listener when the grid is initiated that responds whenever the store is refreshed and triggers the function refreshSelection():

Before the form data is saved, the row number is stored in selectedRow[0]. When the grid is refreshed, refreshSelection is run:

If I comment out the alert, this fails every time, with row 0 being highlighted. selectedRecords[0] is reset to 0 after the attempt to select the row so that navigation through the grid, such as choosing "Next Page," will properly highlight the first row of the page rather than the last row number that was edited.

Hi all
I'm working with Flash 8, with the FLV player component. The
player loads various flash videos (flv)
that can have verious sizes.
I have set the autosize detection for the player. But I want
the size of the embeded player to also
change according to the size of the loaded flv.
For example, if the loaded flv is 100px by 100px, I want the
embeded player to be 100px by 100px (in
the html code). if the flv is 500px by 350px, i want the
embeded flav to change to that 500 x 350px.
As far as I know, the sizes of the flv file cannot be
detected with PHP or javascript, so only the
component can detect the flv size. Therefore I would need a
way to re-write the embeded code after
the flv has loaded.
Anybody knows how to do that? Is it possible?

Tab title is changing to "connecting" after page has loaded

Yesterday, my tabs in firefox started to act a little bit odd. When (only when) tab has loaded few seconds pass and tab title changes to "Connecting...". Before title change to "Connecting...", tab title is as it should be - webpage title. And this is happening to all tabs. I have opened like 12 tabs all the time. Is someone familiar with this situation? I don't have tab renamizer installed. Thanks

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

Then i would like to update this field after a time with new date.
To do this i need to know which rows has still data field set to null, i try sth like this but it doesn't work

Dis-Select table rows after table update.

Hello All,
I have given the user a functionality to update table records on the BSP page.
I am using multiselect first and then when user clicks on a button, the selected rows becomes editable...
The user can then edit the rows and after they click on another button, the changes gets reflected in the database table....
Now my problem is that when the table is updated, i am changing the selectionMode to Multiselect, but the rows still remains selected and i want to clear all the selected rows...i.e <b>dis-select all the rows...</b>
Please help.

Select specific row after a refresh

I can not find this in the documentation. I have a table
which list all my records from an XML. I then have a detail region
that allows me to update the data in the CURRENT record. Upon
submitting the updated data to the server, I need the record list
refreshed, not a problem, and then the row previously selected to
be selected again as current row. I have a Unique ID that my
database assigns the records, but that will be different than what
SPRY assigns. What is my best solution? I hope I have not
miscommunicated this.

This sounds like something that should be added to the data
set api to help folks out. I've jotted it down. Until then, you can
use something like this:

Why does my window resize after Firefox has loaded from being opened

Firefox opens to the full screen at first, but as the tabs finish loading the window collapses to a half screen. I have tried resetting the advanced JavaScript settings to no avail.

Does that also happen if you start Firefox with an blank page?

I tried replicating your requirement and have written below the exact working code for the same. I will try to explain you my component so that you can get to understand its functionality. I have 2 tables & 1 input field in my view. The user enters a customer number in the input field and presses on a button. This leads to the corresponding sales orders filled into the 1st table ui element. The user then selects multiple rows from this table and presses on a toolbar button to copy these selected rows to the 2nd table. Within the same event I also set the checkbox for the rows selected by the user in the 1st tables row to selected. Hope that this would meet your requirement. On pressing the button the system would check if the checkbox is enabled & then mark the selected rows checkboxes as selected and would also copy the rows to the 2nd table. If the checkbox is disabled then the system would neither set it as checked nor copy it to the 2nd table. The rest of the checkboxes for the rows which weren't selected by the user remain as unchecked.

I have checked your code where you say like:
IF elem_test->is_selected( ) = abap_true AND stru_test-enabled = abap_false.
You had earlier fetched the entire elements list using the get_elements method of if_wd_context_node & then checking each 1 of them individually to determine whether it was selected or not using the method id_selected. You can directly get only the elements which were selected by the user by using the method get_selected_elements instead. So now you will only have to check whether the checkbox field in that particular row is disabled/enabled. You now don't have to combine 2 conditions using AND & check them within the loop.

Error after using a servlet in ADF - unable to select another row in table

I have a go button and when I select a row in a table it call a download servlet. After I open or save the document I'm unable to make other selection in the table or make another action.
The table has single row selection active.
The servlet make part from a task-flow.

could somebody help me? I'm new to ADF and I'm trying to make a SearchPage. It works but I get this behavior:
#1: I bound the Table with the ResultSet of a EJB-SessionBean find-Method. When the SearchPage is loaded, a the SessionBean-find-Mehod is called. I want, that the Table only shows the ResultSet when the CommandButton "Search" is clicked not on PageLoad.
#2. In the ResultSet shown in the table no row is preselected. How can i change that?
# 3. The Table is placed in a TabbedPanel in a showDetailItem "SearchResult". After i select a row I want to show the Details of the selected row-Object in anoteher showDetailItem "Details". How could i handle that?

a) On the button "Search" add an af:setPropertyListener. It looks like this:

If no-one comes up with better ideas of what causes this then my questions and suggestions:
What do you mean by an infinite loop ? <br />
The page loads and then goes blank. What exactly happens next, does the page fully load and fully display again before going blank, and repeat this cycle endlessly in the same tab.
You do say the problem persisted in safe-mode and you had looked at the basic troubleshooting article. Buy that you can stop the problem by disabling javascript.
* did you disable all plugins - and did you still get the problem then ?
As you mention disabling javascript stops the problem, have you tried with<br /> Java script enabled but

* load images automatically OFF
* advanced options - ALL OFF<br /> What happens do you get the problem then or not.
While on this firefox site if I look at the error console Ctrl+Sift+J or Tools -> Error console If I clear the console content and reload the webpage the error console shows only a couple of messages. YouTube home page give a lot of yellow triangle warnings about 200, but no red warnings, do you get red warnings.
You could also try on the problem sites eg YouTube changing the permissions with tools -> Page Info | Permissions
Did you try the Basic Troubeshooting suggestion of making a new profile. (Heeding the warning not to delete settings, otherwise you loose all bookmarks etc) did that help ?
