Selection of a price list based on the delivery date of purchase orders

Description of requirement:
One of our customers would like to have the price list selected on the basis of the delivery date of purchase orders rather than on the posting date.
The customer wants to have this feature available by the date scheduled for their go-live, that is January 2nd 2008.
Best regards,
Emmanuel Ruellan

Dear development team,
Is it possible to have the above functionality in a future version?
Best regards,

  • Delivery tolerance (based on the delivery date)

    Dear All
    How to maintain delivery tolerance (based on the delivery date) in Purchasing Order
    Would you help me, please
    thanks
    imron

    YOu can try with
    u2022     ST: Date variance (value x days)
    The system calculates for each item the product of amount * (scheduled delivery date - date invoice entered) and compares this product with the absolute upper limit defined. This allows relatively high schedule variances for invoice items for small amounts, but only small schedule variances for invoice items for large amounts.
    IN transaction code OMR6 for a company code.
    IN SPRO - Materials Management -- LIV -- Incoming  Invoice -- Invoice Block.

  • Regarding the delivery date in sales order

    Hai
    when we give the inhouse production time in material master and the create a sales order whenever we give the quantity the delivery date does not change according to the quantity
    ex :- when i give the inhouse time as 2 days for producing a single material
                    but when the quantity in sales 10 no. but delivery date is only 2 days
                         i.e, based  sales order quantity delivery date should change
               i need the delivery date as 20 days who to do this give the customizing settings
    advance thank's for your reply

    Dear,
    Please check the timing in work scheduling view. other wise schedule the routing and maintain time there and check your result.
    In material Master MRP2 screen you will get Scheduling Screen where you will get
    In-house production
    GR processing time
    Plnd delivery time
    These are lot size independent but value in work scheduling view are lot size dependent.
    Go to VOV8 and check the Lead time part. If u will maintain lead time of 2 days, the req deliverty date will be 2 days frm order creation date.
    You can configure this in the configuration of the Sales document type in VOV8. Here we can specify the value and as per that configuration the date will be defaulted.

  • How system updating the delivery dates in sale order schedule line

    Hello
    i created a sales order with 2 line items. For the first line item the confirmed delivery date in the schedule line is 06.02.2012 and for the second line item the confirmed delivery date in the schedule line is 14.02.2012 . Both the line items are third party items and the PR created against the line items in the sales order .
    We created the PO with reference to the PR of the SO and we find there are different delivery dates coming in the PO document for the 2 line items . For the first line item the delivery date is coming as 14.11.2011 and for the second line item in the PO , the delivery date coming as 11.11.2011 . Firstly we are not understanding from where the delivery dates are picking in the PO.
    Secondly , once we saved the Purchase order and once we come back to the sales order , the schedule line dates are getting changed automatically in the sales order . For the first line item in the sales order the delivery date is changing to 22.11.2011 and for the second line item in the sales order the delivery date is changing to 22.11.2011.
    Now my question , is from where the delivery dates are updating in the Purchase order and once we save the purchase order how the delivery dates in the schedule line are getting changed .

    Now my question , is from where the delivery dates are updating in the Purchase order and once we save the purchase order how the delivery dates in the schedule line are getting changed .
    For third party processing, the delivery dates are updated in the purchase order based on the settings in the field Planned delivery time in the MRP2 view of the material master(defined in purchase info record in t.code ME11/ME12) and purchasing processing time defined in t.code OMEW. This means, since the date of PO created, it will take the days mentioned in the planned delivery time field and purchasing processing times to determine the delivery date, which will be copied into the sales order as delivery date. In your case, the purchase order delivery date is not copied into the sales order, hence you may need to check OSS note. How the PO is handled? Any confirmation control functionality is used?

  • How to block the Statistical delivery date in purchase order from updation

    Hello All,
        We have the following requirement from our client.
    The client wants to track the delay in delivery of purchase orders raised to vendors. Currently the users, change the delivery date and then process the PO if there are any delays. The client wants to STOP this and track any changes being made.
        We created a new screen layout for purchase orders and checked the Statistics relevant delivery date as DISPLAY
    However, when we tested the same, the statistical delivery date was changed along with delivery date, when the delivery date was changed in the Purchase order, though the option for statistical delivery date was seen a DISPLAY field only.
    Please provide us your suggestions on any other options available.
    R's
    Manoj.

    if your client wants to track the delay of a delivery from your vendor, then he has to give the vendor a chance that he can deliver on time. And the usual way to do this is by sending the PO to the vendor.
    if you cange the delivery date before output of messagem then your vendor could not even know the original delivery date, so it is not the vendors fault if he cannot meet this date.
    if you change the delivery date after output of message , then the statistical delivery date will stay with the old date.
    the field is always open to maintain because it is not always the vendor who is reponsible for a delivery date change.
    if you want to change the delivery date because you can take the quantity at that date, then it is not the vendors fault, in this case you have to change the statistical delviery date to evaluate the vendors delivery performance against the new date.
    And often forgotten in this evaluation process is the warehouse personell that finally posts the goods receipt. if they post it with delay and do not change the goods reeipt date, then the vendor is as well evaluated to bad.

  • The delivery date in Sales Order VA01

    Hi,
    I am wondering how the sales order process goes in term of business given that I am not an SD person.
    Normally, when a customer rep receive a sales order, the customer will request the date in which the goods are require.
    Thus, during the sales order creation, the person will key in the material, order quantity, and the delivery date.
    Example, customer wants the goods to deliver on Nov 25th 2011
    My confusion arise when the ATP check (i.e. the three section proposal date) find out that the goods are only available on December 10th 2011. Thus, the committed schedule line with committed quantity is copied from the ATP proposal screen to the 2nd scheduline line item with delivery date as Dec 10th, and the committed quantity. The following is the VA01 screen
    Schedule Line tab of item detail view:
    Dely Date -
    OrderQty----CommitQty
    11.10.2011--3--
    0
    18.10.2011--0--
    3
    Sales Order Overview screen:
    MaterialOrderQty-itemCat-FirstDate -
    Plant
    10000----2pcTAN11.10.2011-----AU01
    Question.
    1 - Do you feedback to the customer saying that the Delivery Date that can reach you is 11.10.2011 or 18.11.2011?
    tuff

    hi tuffy,
    here system will check ATP while sales order and confirm delivery date,if u r making sales order on 11.10.2011 but system will confirm delivery date in schedule line.
    u can take ur  msg reference where system is taking order on 11.10.2011 and confirm qty for delivery on 18.11.2011 so customer delivery date would be 18.10.2011.

  • Tax Code removed on changing the posting Date in Purchase Order

    Dear All,
    This is with reference to the Purchase Order Document tax part, the document has been defined with the approval procedure and document series followed as annual series. The document series is linked to the period indicator as I am using the monthly series for the A/R & A/P Invoice.
    Now some Purchase Order was generated in the last month i.e. 30 NOV 07 which has gone for approval. These document are approved in the current month (Dec 07) & user are trying to add the records it displays the message as "Date deviates from permissible range [Purchase Order - Posting Date]  [Message 173-11]" as the period indicator is changed to Dec 07 in document numbering.
    The problem is when user changes the document date to Dec 07 for posting; system removes the tax codes, which is available in the document. Now as this is approved document user is not able to change or renter the tax codes.
    In this situation what can be done as the same case will again happen for the next month.
    Pls. provide the solution / work around for this problem.
    Regards,
    Yogesh Jadav

    hi yogesh,
    Cancel/Close the created purchase order.
    First you should change docduedate in posting period upto december 2007/end of fiscal year,by following the below path.
    (Administration->sytem intialization-> general settings--> posting period tab)
    Create a new purchase order.
    Send it for approval,authorizer can change date as required,
    once the posting date changes,tax code get refreshed,authorizer
    need to select tax code once again.
    <b>Tax code normally get refreshed when you change posting date it's normal
    system behaviour.</b>
    After authorizer does above changes,he can approve purchase order.
    Once purchase order is approved,orginator can add it as purchase order in draft stauts.
    <b>After approval we can not do any changes in purchase order.</b>
    Hope my solution will solve the problem.
    Thanks,
    With regards,

  • Add a Price List based on last purchase price

    Hi!
    I'm working with SAP B1 2005 A SP01 PL39 and I'm trying to add a Price List via DIAPI using this code in VB.net.
    Dim oPriceList As SAPbobsCOM.PriceLists
    oPriceList = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oPriceLists)
    oPriceList.PriceListName = "PriceList Z"
    oPriceList.BasePriceList = 0  '// last purchase price
    oPriceList.Factor = 1
    oPriceList.GroupNum = BoPriceListGroupNum.boplgn_Group1
    oPriceList.RoundingMethod = BoRoundingMethod.borm_NoRounding
    oPriceList.Add()
    The problem is when the Price List is added, the base price list changes and becomes "PriceList Z" instead of "last purchase price"!!
    After i try to update the base price list from "PriceList Z" to "last purchase price" manually at Inventory > Price Lists > Price Lists and it works!
    I even tested the code changing the base price list to "last evaluated price"...
    oPriceList.BasePriceList = -1  '// last evaluated price
    ... and it works too! The Price List is added based on the last evaluated price.
    I'm only having problems with last purchase price... why?

    Thanks for the quick response Petr but my problem isn't solved yet...
    As you can read in my first post, i've changed the code and based the new price list on the "Last Evaluated Price".
    This "Last Evaluated Price" isn't in the OPLN table and the new price list (with last evaluated price based on) is added successfully.
    The problem comes when i try to add a new price list based on the last purchase price.

  • A report to view the cash flow from Purchase Orders.

    Hi All,
    Could anyone suggest me a report to view the cash flow (financial obligations) which comes from Purchase Orders?
    Thanks
    Gandalf

    Hi,
    You will have to activate basic cash management (part of FSCM) and use TCode FF7B (liquidity forecast). What the report would do is, based on the delivery date of the purchase order and the payment terms of the vendor (plus some grace days for clearing the payment as per configuration) determine the date of expected payments and project the cash (and bank) balance by days/week or months.
    Alternatively you can write your own ABAP code which will do the same thing.
    a. Take a list of all open POs and determine the delivery date (EKKO and EKPO)
    b. Add the payment terms as per purchase order to the delivery date
    c. Compute the cost of the purchase order item
    d. Display the report which projects expected payments by date

  • Budget Check based on PO Delivery Date

    My users are currently facing an issue with PO creation. They are unable to save their POs as the Delivery Date for the line items in the PO has been set to next year. It would seem that the budget check is based on the Delivery Date in the PO, not the Document Date. The company I work for does not does not allocate budget beyond the current year. We perform annual budgeting.
    Is there a workaround or some configuration setting for this? Your assistance is much appreciate.

  • Material availability date can not be after the delivery date

    Dear Experts,
    we are using the following scnario,
    1. Once the user creates the sales order, automatically system creates PO in the background.
    we have created Bapi program for creation of Background PO in SD User Exit.
    The following issue occurs in Prd, DS1, QS1 server, We have done Technical upgradation project, Now when we creates sales order automatically po created with error message of Material availablity date can not be after the delivery date. even sales order no also not updated in the PO.
    QAS server (without technical upgrade) i refered the same input parameter and used the same and create the sales order system generates PO automatically without error message.
    Does any one can through lights on this issue,
    Thanks and Best Regards,
    Muralidharan S

    Hi
    The dates are determined due to shipping and transportation scheduling settings. So check whether the shipping and transportation scheduling is being performed as per the cofiguration settings after Technical upgrade. Since the MAD date should not be after Delivery date but it seems that the dates are not determined properly.
    Also check the Transit  time, Loading time, Pick/Pack time and Lead time are retained as same as before the technical upgrade. Use the QAS server settings to validate the settings in other servers.
