Easy fix. Rename your iPhone so that the word "iPhone" is not part of the name.
Hondalink will immediately recognize the device. Just spoke with Honda customer service and this is what they suggested. It worked right away.

SMD and Self diagnosis not working

I put my system to Stack 12. After that, SMD and Self Diagnosis not working any more. Here the message:
URL http://sv030488.myco-group.com:8001/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/dswp_sd_self_diagnosis call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
The termination occurred in system MMS with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
SM59 connection test shows:
ERROR: program WEBADMIN not registered
how to register ??

Hello Wolfgang,
You have to activate the service dswp_sd_self_diagnosis.
Run transaction SICF, on Service Name, enter dswp_sd_self_diagnosis.
Right-click on the service and select "Activate Service".
Run the Setup Wizard of Diagnostics System on SMD to register the program WEBADMIN.

SMS is not working opinion iOS8.1 with iMessage on for multiple ppl. If we turn iMessage off and restart the phone SMS works (but obviously not iMessage). Is there a fix?

Self.close() or window.close() both not working in iOS8.0.2 safari

Both these function(self.close() and window.close()) are not working in safari.
These methods are used to close the tab currently opened.
So, if there is any workaround for this.

Hand gesture for closing apps not working in ios8

Since updating to ios8 (latest update), the hand gesture for closing apps (3 or 4 fingers) does not work most of the time On my gen 4 iPad. I have to use the 'home' button to close apps and I hate that it now takes two steps to close a web page in Safari.

its a problem of iOS 8, initially I thought it was because I have an iPad 2 which got ruined by the update, but I then noticed that it appens on the iPad air of my partner to. Moving around with one finger or swiping notification or Center down or the other up restore momentarily the functionality.

I have the same issue with Siri turning off the location setting for reminders. In fact my location based reminders do not work at all. IPhone 5s, ios 8.1, upgraded to 8.1.1 and that did not fix these issues.
SEems like Apple does not test the location setting every other upgrade to iOS. They break it, then fix it then break it etc...

Alarms not working in iOS8

My weekday morning Wake-Up Alarms are not working. I have 2 alarms set for 5:00AM and 5:20AM, both set to only go off on Weekdays.
I am wondering if it is because of the Do Not Disturb from 11PM - 6 AM feature, that is on, but it worked fine on iOS 7 and below.
This has started since the upgrade to iOS8 on my old iPhone5 32GB, and now has continued on my iPhone6Plus 64GB phone.
This morning I set an everyday alarm for 5:58AM and it worked, I am gonna try a few more permutations to see if I can narrow it down.

SOLVED for me by restarting my iPhone 5. Power off completely and powering back on.
I had the same issue after updating to iOS8 on my iPhone 5.
No Airplay and Remote Control doesn't work anymore. It worked for a day and then ,,, stopped working.
The Airplay button didn't show up, Remote control couldn't find my iTunes (the screen told me to turn on my Home Sharing, which is, and has been, on)

I just upgraded my iPhone 5S to iOS8, and the 4G is not working. I need to be connected to wifi if I want to use my apps or even to browse in Safari. Any help to fix this problem.

This script works fine on IE but not working on Moziila and Chrome.
Any help will be appreciated

I used to receive daily HTML email newsletters with links anchor down to detailed content. The links were working fine in all the previous versions. After upgrading to iOS 8, the internal hyperlinks (anchor links - both named as well as id) are not working. It takes me to nowhere and shows an error message id. This seems to be very specific with iOS 8 and there is no HTML code support to overcome this issue.
Can Apple fix this issue at the earliest as it is very difficult to scroll up and down every time to read the contents of the email newletters?

Airport Not Working After iOS8 Update

Hi,
Last night I updated my iPad to iOS8.
I was then invited to update the Airport Utility to make it work with iOS8.
The download & installation appeared to have completed successfully, but then I received the same message to update it. I ran the procedure again, following which I got the same message.
The router now has a flashing amber light & is unusable.
I have tried unplugging/reconnecting the mains lead. I have tried using the reset button. I have tried doing both together. Neither the iPad or my computer can see the router.
Can anyone help, please?

I spent several hours with Apple support today: the issue kept getting escalated as it was unable to be resolved by the person I was talking to at each level.
To cut a long story short: unable to resolve it, the unit will be repaired/replaced under warranty. They are very interested in getting hold of my failed unit to inspect it & figure out what has happened to it.
Many thanks to everyone I spoke to: they were all very interested, courteous & as helpful as possible. Excellent customer service.
