Send DOCMAS without attached files (Originals)

I need to send DOCMAS header information from one system to another using ALE.  However, I have no need for the originals on the receiving system and they are causing me the error: Error while checking in and storing problem.
Is there a flag that can be set telling ALE to ignore the attached files?
I can see in the documentation for the E1DRAWM segment of the DOCMAS IDOC there are two fields:
internal data type : CHAR
Internal length : 000002 characters
Position in segment : 037, Offset : 0598. external length : 000002
ORIG1_DSTRB : Transport originals with ALE
internal data type : CHAR
Internal length : 000001 characters
Position in segment : 038, Offset : 0600. external length : 000001
ORIG2_DSTRB : Transport originals with ALE
However, I cannot find any documentation on possible values for these fields.  Does anyone know?
I see from this forum post, a similar person resolved this problem in BD79.  What Flag is being referred to here?
[ALE/ IDoc: Error while checking in and storing|ALE/ IDoc: Error while checking in and storing]
Thank you for your help.
Scott

....maybe you can try to simulate message type DOCMAS from transaction WE19 before you run the ALE program in transaction BDA5

  • [HELP] Send email with attachment  files from application server

How can i send email to users with pdf/xls attachment files through job with pl/sql , but the files are on application server.
I've tried using UTL_MAIL but it's not working, cause the file & DIRectory setting should be inside of database server. Should I copy the files from report server to database file system or any other techniques so there's no need to use the physical files?

  • [SSRS 2012] export to html (instead of mhrml) without attach file

    Dear all,
I enable export to HMTL format on reporting services. But the issue is the file is sending in attachment instead of seing directly on mail body.
How I can have my report directly on mail (like MHTML export, but didn't work here (mail are sending, but exchange send a return error with message :
"This message exceeds the maximum message size allowed. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please make the message smaller --
by removing attachments, for example -- and try sending it again, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator." )
    Thanks in advance,
    BR

    Hi phoneix75,
According to your description, you want to export your report into HTML format and display the report directly in the email instead of using an attached file. Right?
In Reporting Services, we can export a report into different format (MHTML, CSV, Excel…). For these type of files, only MHTML file can be displayed in email directly because Exchange/Outlook can only render MHTML format. It can’t recognize other format so
that they can only be kept in attached file. For an email, it also has max size for its content area. So if your report exceed this max size, it will come out the error message as you post. Unfortunately, your requirement can’t be achieved currently.
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
    Best Regards,
    Simon Hou

  • Send mail witch attach files from forms server 6i

How to attach file from my logical drive , and sending mail via forms web 6i ?

    Hi jean,
there is a lot of complication involved with trying to attach files using the java web server, the best thing i have done was i have added a microsoft windows email component on to my form and invoked its methods and properties, for eg. for attaching a file u have something called as microsoft windows common controls which opens the file open dialog box. Remember , trying to build email and messeging kind of applications with oracle tools is a bit complicated as of now because windows 2000 server has additional security features equivalent to standard firewall and the java interface of oracle looks for certifications for each and every cgi request.

  • Script to send attach file from oracle...

    Hi All,
I´m trying to monitoring my tablespaces space usage, using utl_smtp utility, but nothing that I´ve found in web is working. I can send a sample email without attach files, this works well, but when I try to attach a file nothing works. Maybe with a trigger or something I can solve the problem.
Maybe someone of you guys could help me in this task.
    Any help would be great!!
    Thanks and Regards!
    Marcello.

but nothing that I´ve found in web is workingDid you try the sample code from OTN?

  • Sending mail with attachment fails on MAC Mail and WRP400.

Sending mail with attachment fails on MAC Mail and WRP400.
We have hundreds of WRP400 connected with Mac (Machintosh) computers. No special configurations are applied (no virtual server or DMZ). Web navigation, P2P programs and sending mail without attachment work right.
The problem is the impossibility to send mails with medium or big size files attachment from MAC Mail.
If we use Windows PCs or a different linksys routers (eg. WRT54G) the problem not happens.
We have upgraded WRP400 firmware version from 1.00.06 to 2.00.05 but the result is the same. Sending mail with attachment using Mac fails.
We tried to configure WRP400 with DMZ to a particular MAC. We tried to configure Virtual server on tcp 25 port of a MAC. The result is always the same.
This is a WRP400 bug? Windows PCs work right. MAC and MAC mail works right with other linksys router.
    We need help. Thanks.

The problem was fixed since beta firmware 2.00.11.
I think that this issue was caused from a bug that decrease upload bitrate of WRP400 after some days of activity.
See more details on Cisco forum under title "WRP400 stops responding after browsing certain websites".
    Thanks.

  • Fetching of attached files delayed, minutes-hours in Outlook 2011 for Mac from Exchange online

    Hi,
I have an annoying problem I would be grateful if someone could solve.
I run Outlook 2011 for Mac which is synced towards Microsoft Exchange online. Everything works well except when there are attached files in incoming emails.  Sometimes it can take up to hours before an attached file is available (the email as such is
available immediately), however luckily it is mostly done within 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile the notification bar switch between "Awaiting synchronisation for this folder" and "Fetching attached files...". There is no actual difference between
larger and smaller files and there is also no problem sending emails with attached files, they are sent immediately.
I have tested in different locations with good connections to rule out unstable internet connection without success.
Thanks for any help with this issue!

  • Attach file to mail with "unusual" characters

    Hi
I have made a procedure that can send mail with attached file/files. But when I attach a text file that contains characters like (Å, Ä or Ö) these characters gets like (A, A and ?) when I recieve the mail to my mail client. When I look at the file on the disk before I attach it the characters is OK but when I attach the file and mails it the characters get replaced. So why does the charaters get messed up when I attach the file to a mail??

    Hi Madhu,
Using the default modules PayloadSwapBean and MessageTransformBean you can able to send multiple attachments.
swap.keyName  :payload-name or payload-description or content-type, content-description. swap.keyValue: If you have  a multiple attachments then give the multiple key value.
    Like you have payload name
      Attachment1, Attachment2 then
    swap.keyName  payload-name
    swap.keyValue  Attachment1, Attachment2
Using the MessageTransformBean you can able to change the file name.
    PayloadSwapBean:
