I want to send documents from an external application to the KM. What should I do? Can anyone help me?

Hi Angel,
The easiest way to accomplish this, is to use the WebDAV functionality of KM.
To achieve this you could use this simple procedure:
1. In KM, goto Content Management > Explorer > Documents > the folder that you would like to fill with documents
2. Popup the context menu of the folder
3. Select Details; a new window opens...
4. In this window, select Properties from the Settings menu
5. Now go to the tab that says 'Access links'
6. There you will find a 'WebDAV link'; the contents of the input field can be used by any application to send documents to KM by just placing (a copy of) documents in the folder specified by the WebDAV URL. Copy the text in the field to the clipboard of Windows,
7. In order to be able to use the WebDAV folder directly from Windows (2000 and XP work, other versions I'm not sure about...) you have to map a drive letter to the Web DAV URL:
8. Open 'My Network Places',
9. A common task is available to 'Add a new network place' (This is for XP, other Windows versions might have a different approach, consult your specific Windows version's manual)
10. Click 'Next' and select 'Choose another network location'; click 'Next' again.
11. Paste the URL for the WebDAV folder of KM in the input field that is now shown.
12. Click 'Next'
All this information can also be found on help.sap.com, but I thought yo might appreciate a shortcut
NB: If you would like to send documents using email, then the scenario changes rather a lot. The WebDAV method allows you to 'send' documents from any application, regardless whether these applications are email enabled.
Another NB: Not all applications are able to write to a Network Place, but tools like Netdrive from Novell might help: this tool allows you to map a drive letter to a Network Place. Looking for help..
Requirement: I have 3 groups 1.requestors 2. Approvers 3. Vendors.
In Requestor group, there are so many Requestors and every Requestor logged in to subsite and create a new document in the same DocHub. But No Requestor can see documents created by others. ie, Requestor can see his own documents not by others created.
How to implement this. Is UserProfile service useful here or any other?
Finally , when Requestor click on save button then I have to send the particular document to Approvers group for approve/rejection.
Can you please suggest me that how to send the document to others through Designer workflows.?
Note: Currently we are using ootb
Kindly show me the way to do this.

By OOB option, we cannot send documents as attachment via workflow.
You could use document url as workaround or use code to achieve it:

I'm trying to print from wirelessy from my MacBook Pro (OS X Mountain Lion) to a P1102w printer without success.
The error message is:

It doesn't share the printer and the Mac can't print

How do I send email and web pages to a shared printer on home network. I verified that I can send documents to the shared printer.

My home network (one wireless computer using Windows 7--the other using Windows XP) share a printer, but I can't send web pages or email to the shared printer. I can send documents to the printer, so I know that connection is set up properly. Could Firefox be blocking this function? If so, how do I configure it. Both computers use Firefox exclusively.

Can't send document to Apple Mail after upgrading to Maverick

Hello,
When I in iWork '09 try to send a document to Apple Mail as an attachment, I get an error message that says "iWork encountered an error while attempting to create the attachment data", I get the same message wether I select "Pages", "Word" or "PDF".
I get the same message in Pages and in Numbers. It started after I upgraded to Maverick.
I copied this from the console:

Hello Fruhilda!
It seems that my problem is resolved. My version was 4.1 and App Store didn't show any updates. But after som searching I found out that there was an iWork 9.3 update which I downloaded and installed. After the update the version was 4.3 and I was able to send documents to Apple Mail.

Word saving documents as binary files- can't send documents as attachments

I've had my Macbook for about 9 months. During the first 6 months, I could send attachments via email perfectly fine. After about 6 months, something happened and the files could no longer be opened after being attached. I tried sending some attachments to myself and found out that the documents were being sent as binary files.
I also backed up my documents onto an external hard drive. When I opened the documents on a Windows computer, the Word documents that I created during the first 6 months could be opened. However, the most recently created documents couldn't be opened by my computer.
I decided to do an erase and install on Saturday. Afterwards, Word was working fine and I was able to send documents as attachments. This morning (Tuesday) I tried to send attachments again and it didn't work! Again, the documents were binary files.
I'm not sure what to do because it was working fine for three days, but now it's not working anymore. I think something must have happened during those three days that corrupted my computer?
Has anyone had a similar problem? Can anyone help?
Sorry I know it was a long post but I wanted to give more information in case it would give some clues. I feel I should add that I've been having quite a few problems with my Macbook, e.g. screen freezing, DMGs not loading properly, getting some pop ups

Also wanted to add that I've had my logicboard replaced recently because of problems such as freezing, so I don't think it should be a hardware problem.

Since Word is not an Apple product, you'll get better response if you use a forum dedicated to Microsoft's Mac products such as <http://groups.google.com/groups/dir?sel=33607053> rather than an Apple forum that focuses on compatibility between Macs and Windows.
Be sure to search the forum first in case someone has already had a similar question answered. You'll get your answer faster this way. Post your question in the forum if you don't find anything that helps you

XML gate way send document erroring out

We are using the "CLN_SHOW_SHIPMENT_OAG72_OUT.xgm" to map the ASN 856 XML gateway map.
But this is getting error out in the Show shipment workflow (send document process).

Error Message 6013: Error while processing XML document in SENDDIRECT mode : 'ORA-20100: Error occurred while parsing: Element SHOW_SHIPMENT_005 not complete, expected elements '[DATAAREA]'.'. I have done the transaction setup , trading partner setup and reuired ECX profile options.
Below are the steps i am following.
To generate an ASN for one shipment of goods:
1. Log on to the Oracle Order Management application.
2. Create a sales order in Order Management either manually or electronically
through Order Process.
3. Book the sales order.
4. Navigate to Release Sales Order window.
5. Enter the sales order number in Order Number.
6. Click Execute Now to release this sales order.
7. Navigate to the Shipping Transaction window.
8. Click Search Delivery.
9. Enter the delivery name in From Delivery Name.
10. Click Find.
11. Ship confirm the delivery.
◗◗ To extract ASN for a delivery number in case of first ASN failure:
1. Navigate to the Supply Chain Trading Connector responsibility in Oracle
E-Business Suite.
2. Navigate to Requests and select Run.
3. Verify if Single Request is selected. Click Ok.
4. Select CLN:Send XML Show Shipment Document for Request Name.
5. Enter Delivery Number.
6. Click Submit to submit the request.
7. Search for Ship Notice collaboration in the Collaboration History by entering
Delivery Number for Document Number.
The go to workflow administrator > transaction monitor > item type %SHIP% then > go.
After this I could see that the workflow is erroring out at send document process.

Error when I try to send document to Business Objects Inbox in Infoview

I am testing XI 3.1 and when I select a Webi document then click on the option to send a document to a Business Objects Inbox, I get the following error:

Following are the rights you need to apply so that the particular set of users can
send the document to other useru2019s inbox.
1. Send the Document to Inbox
Any files stored in the CMS, even the agnostic ones, can be sent to a useru2019s Inbox.
The file is sent as is, without any refresh in the case of Web Intelligence or Desktop

I have two users that receive the following message when trying to send documents to clients:

I checked and the email addresses entered do not match their own. Could something be wrong with their user accounts?

Here are the steps to disable AutoComplete on IE:
Open Internet Explorer.
Click Tools Internet explorer tools icon in the upper right-hand corner.
Select Internet Options from the dropdown menu.
Under the Content tab, in the Autocomplete section, click the Settings button.
Within this window, you can select the fields in which you'd like to store Autocomplete data by using the checkboxes. This action turns Autocomplete On or Off based on what boxes are checked.
Once you have made your selections, click OK.

BI 4.0 send documents to INBOX

Admin could send documents to any inboxes just fine. When a normal user sends a documents to an inbox, it never shows up in the inbox. I try send the document to myself as a normal user. It does not show up.
I grant the normal user full control over top-level inboxes; top level users, BI launchpad. Not helping... any idea?

I know that it is possible to send documents from MM to SUS in the following case.
1) It is not possible to send the documents when you send a new purchase order from MM To SUS.
2)But it is possible to send documents from MM to SUS with the changed purchase order ( that is , you have to change the purchase order in MM).
3) for this there is some modifications (exit) to be implemented on MM system , there is one standard note available on the service market place for this, please search for that.
4)I have seen that the above mentioned note number ( i dont remember the number) talks about , Doc files (MS WORD) , but you have to go through the note for details (for other files like , PDF , JPG).

How do I send documents from my PC to Icloud?

What is it then? How and what exactly do i use it for? My i pad says there is not enough storage available so i have purchased more in i cloud. I now want to save some TV programmes and films to i cloud to free up some space but don't know how to... When you are told there is not enough space to download you are prompted to go to settings and to purchase more storage - so it is not unreasonable to assume that this will solve the problem - or am I missing something here? Or is this just a way for apple to get money out of me?

Onsite Scanner Unable To Send Documents Through Exchange 2007 Server (SBS 2008)

I have an SBS 2008 server complete with Exchange 2007 in house and have configured Exchange 2007 to use the Exchange Online Protection (EOP) to process mail for malware, etc. This setup has worked great for the last year or so with no issues.
However, all of a sudden in the last couple of weeks our onsite copier can no longer send documents through email to anyone within the organization. The copier is a Kyocera TaskAlfa 3050CI and exists with the same network. The copier can scan
to a network folder without issue.
If I change the SMTP settings to use a gmail account instead of a local account I can send mail to outside email address. Even with this changed though I still can't send to our domain addresses.
I tried running a message trace from the Exchange Management Console but it doesn't find anything for hte given subject or date/time when I scanned the document.
I am not exactly sure what I should be checking or what piece of the puzzle is causing the problem here. Any ideas on what might be happening or how to correct it?

Based on your description, it seems that only the copier can’t send documents via emails. On your SBS 2008
environment, please check if some user accounts encounter the similar issue. In other words, did users also can’t send emails attached with documents? If the email was attached with a small size document, will the same result?
In addition, can find any relevant error or events?

Sending documents to pc's

Im having ridiculous problems sending documents to windows pc's!
Ive done the usual thing of trying to send it as a PDF, converting it a word document etc but everything I do doesn't seem to work?! This is very important as it's job applications! Please Help!!!

As Klaus1 says, the option comes up, at least in Mountain Lion (don't remember in older versions of Mac OS X) when you are prompted to select the file you want to send as an attachment.
