Hi Yonela,
Request your security/Authorizations team to create userid for those people who need alert mails to be triggered and addtheir users in ALERTCATDEF.

  • Email alert with 6 email accounts

For the love of God how do I setup my phone to alert me (make a sound) when I receive an email on any of my mailbox?  For some weird reason, it only alerts me on the primary and secondary mailbox on main screen.
Please don't tell me that this ain't possible, I'm going to throw this piece of sh** out the window!
First I lost the tap and turn, then a lot of features on the manual that is not on the PHONE! Like the out of the office reply! And mailbox renaming!
I should have sticked with my G1

You did not mention the phone model, but I assume it is a S6v3. In this case, this is the situation:
    - you cannot have more than 6 E-mail accounts
    - you cannot set more than 2 E-mail addresses for auto-retrive
    - you cannot get alert from more than 2 E-mail addresses
Maybe someone else knows better, but this is my expeience. Obviously, you won't find these limitations in the specs or User Manual.

  • Clicking the Trash button on email alerts brings the email app to front

I have a mid-2010 MBP, and I just upgraded to Mavericks. Also, I switched to AirMail as my default email app as Mail has issues handling Gmail (or Gmail IMAP is the one with issues... whatever). AirMail seems to be working flawlessly so far.
The problem is with the pop up notifications (alerts). Being able to delete email message directly from the pop up notifications (alerts) is great, except it brings the mail app to focus/front, which beats the whole purpose of the shortcut. Am I the only one having this issue, or is this one of the many bugs in Mavericks?

GO to settings, mail, contacts and calendars and right at the top is 'add an account'
Add the login info for your mail account and follow the prompts. then you should be able to mail from your iPad.

  • T5120-Alom-Email alert not going through email server.

    Hi,
I have 3 T5120 and with latest firmware. I have setup ALOM to send Minor email alerts to my email id using a SMTP server we use here. I found that, although the T5120 alom sends(FROM:[email protected]) I don't receive it. I have checked email server logs and found that T5120 alom is using BDAT commad and chunking messages. I don't know much why it does this but as a result email server doesn't deliver email to the recipient.
I have other Sunfire systems that I get ALOM alerts from fine and they use same email server and recipient email address.
Has anyone used T5120 ALOM/ILOM to successfully receive an email alert from it? Let me know what can be done to resolve this issue.
    Thanks!

Have you changed anything with your email recently like to two step validation or your password or???
in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it
    OR
IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

  • Problems with email alerts in OEM ( 10g )

    Gurus,
I have setup the notification for the listener availability and I am having problems with getting the emails when the listener is down. I manually tested the setup by stopping the listener from the command prompt on the server and I don't see any email alerts, but the email alerts come after the listener is started back again from the prompt. I am interested in seeing the alerts when the listener goes down, any info on this is appreciated.
    Thanks.

Thanks for your response. I have selected "yes" for both Up and down in your alert setup and still no luck. I did check the field where it says about sending email. Again when I stopped the listener alert didn't fired up, but it fired up after starting the listener.

  • EMAIL ALERTS FROM FIOSADMIN@VERIZON.COM

I've been receiving email alert notifications from [email protected] for every phone call that is received to my Verizon home digial voice number.  The emails are sent to an email address that I've been told is the default email address associated with my account, not my standard email address.  Verizon techs said the problem is caused by Verzion Call Assistant.  My Verizon Call Assistant does not have email alerts activated and their tech supports states that email alerts from Version Call Assistant would be generated from [email protected] and the problem is at verizon.com.
This began 3 days ago and I have not accessed any of my verizon accounts or setting in months.
    Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I put my money on an issue wht the FiOS Digital Voice Account Manager at verizon.com/fiosvoice
but if need be...... link to the Call assistant software

I am automating the process of sending appointment reminders to my clients. I started with an alert with an email in calendar using the clients email address as a custom entry in my me card in my contacts. this was resulting in three emails being sent with slightly different versions of the same address (see my previous post). Heating someone else's suggestion I created a workflow file to send an email and calling that file from an alert on my calendar. This is working and sends only one email to the client.
My calendar is on I cloud and I access it from three different computers so I can keep my appointment calendar current. The files that send the email only exist on one computer. My other computers show error messages when those emails get sent. It seems that each computer wants to send the email. It's a small problem but is there a way that I could not get those alerts.
But appreciate any thoughts about this. It seems like both problems might be related to the iCloud system.
    Thank you in advance,
    Michael

Good work, catch so far Michael, does seem to be a "feature" of iCloud syncing, not sure what you could do to disable it.

How do I get rid of a "bot" on my Mac that is sending out erroneous emails to everyone in our address book?

You will have to look around your machine & figure out the name of the program.
    try /application/utilities/activity monitor
I recommend that you get a littlesnitch. littlesnitch will track your Web traffic and tell you which applications are sending data from your computer. Be sure to run it awhile because it will trigger a number of alerts. In trail mode, it will run for three hours per boot for a about a month.

This list maybe different in your release of X.
Check System Preferences>Accounts (Users & Groups in later OSX versions)>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

  • Sending Early Watch Alert Report through Email

    Hi All,
For sending the Early Watch Alert Report through Email, I have completed the configuration. After adding the desired Email Address in Path Solution_manager-->goto--
    > Automatic Email Transmission, do i need to create a Zjob in SCOT T-code or this is sufficient.
    waiting for ur quick responses.
    Regards,
    Prashant.

    Dear
You have to make sure your mailing of SCOT is being sent out.
Regular SCOT job for mailing is sufficient, it does not require additional one (INT option).
    Kind regards

  • My ical calender does not send email alerts anymore, now what?

The alerts are configured correctly, if I look at the alert it says that an email will be send (for ex. 09.00 the day before). However when the moment comes, the email does not. Can anyone help me with this one. This is the case since the upgrade to Mavericks.

Hi Patrick, I have the same problem as does everybdy else I guess - it just wont work!
I have set My Card in address book, tested it 100 times and whatever you do it ill not send an email alert? Everything I see on forums blah blahs about setting my card in address book and hey presto but none of it helps.
Someone MUST know if it will ever work or if it is another issues that apple will never resolve, instead they will just ruin a perfectly nice looking operating system by updating it and making my phone icons and notes / bookshelf etc look like it was bought from Toys R Us instead of an Apple store!
Did you find a solution to iCal not sending email alerts? DAVID.

  • Ical won't forward alert to specified email address

i have my ical alerts set up to email me from Mail to my yahoo account. worked for years, but now with 10.5 it still isn't sending. the alert stays in my Mail sent folder. OSX10.5.8

<blockquote>''My email address has been changed''</blockquote>
    Where? By whom?
The best way to work with a change of email address, for whatever reason, is usually to set up a new account in Thunderbird for the new address.
However, any account that you've stopped using will be at risk of trying to connect to its server and will bug you with error messages. If you want to keep the messages from an defunct account, the best way to deal with it is to move them to Local Folders in Thunderbird, or if you must, into the folders of the new account.
Using the Archive function may also be appropriate for older messages; allowing messages to accumulate indefinitely may lead to very large files on your hard disk, which may either fail if/when they reach a size limit or at the least, may become very slow to access. But you'll need to take care to specify where the Archive should be; leaving it inside the defunct account's folders will just continue provoking errors when it tries to access a non-existent server.
If you have stopped using one particular SMTP server to send (which is often part and parcel of a "change of email address") then you need to delete the obsolete one and set up a new; this would happen automatically if you go down the route of setting up as a new address.

  • Bell Pre won't send email on Telus account (Email Application Alert)

    Hi all,
Some help required from all you smart folks out there.
I have just enabled a Bell Palm Pre in Canada, and my email service provider is Telus.
I entered my Telus email address and password during the first start-up procedure, and the Pre started up ok, and was able to synchronize with my Telus webmail server.  I was able to see pushed emails from my Inbox and was also able to see other folders in my webmail account.
Then I tried sending an email, and the problems started.  My email was addressed to my hotmail account ([email protected]).  When I hit send, the status line on the bottom of the Pre said "Sending "test"".  (I called my first email "test").  Then a couple of seconds later I got another status that said "Error sending "test"".  Then a little envelope icon showed up on the bottom right corner, and clicking the icon brought up a big yellow warning triangle with the message "Email Application Alert" and below it "Error sending "test"".  The outgoing email then just sits in the Outbox with a little yellow triangle next to it.
I next went into my email account settings and went into the "Change Log-In Settings".
My incoming email server was listed as imap.telus.net but incoming was working OK, so I didn't touch that.
The outgoing email server was smtp.telus.net and the "Use Authentication" button was in the "On" position with my email address and password below.  It was using port 587 with No encryption.
The first thing I tried was switching the "Use Authentication" to the "Off" position.  The button slid to "Off", so then I exited the settings page.  The status line at the bottom of the Pre said "Preferences Updated".  So just to check I went back into the settings page, and the "Use Authentication" was mysteriously switched back to "On".  I have tried this numerous times since, and the Pre refuses to hold the "Off" setting, so my "Use authentication" is now always "On".
At this point I called Bell Technical Support.  I talked to a nice guy called "Jimmy".  He had me change the outgoing mail server to mail.telus.net and then to mail.1xbell.ca but neither of those helped.  In fact, they seemed to make things worse because now the Pre would try to send the outgoing email for about 30 seconds to a minute before puking up the same error message as before.
Jimmy also asked me to change the port setting to 20 and turn encryption to SSL.  Nothing helped.
Jimmy finally said he couldn't help and that I should call Palm technical support.  But by then they were closed for the night.
So I thanked Jimmy and continued trying to work around.  I put all my settings back to what they were before I talked to Jimmy.  I tried a few more things, one of which was sending an email to another [email protected] address.  WOW! Success!  That email sent successfully.  But wtf?  Why only to telus.net email addresses??
It was about midnight, and I got on the phone to Telus technical support (they go 24x7).  I got connected to Vartsala.  I explained the problem to her (about four times) that I could only send to [email protected] email addresses and to me it looked like the Telus smtp mail server was blocking all addresses other than telus.net email addresses.  She insisted that the Telus smtp server was not the problem, and it was at the Palm Pre level.  But why could the Palm send [email protected] emails, but not [email protected] emails?  She couldn't answer that.  I then talked to her supervisor who also insisted it was not a problem with the Telus smtp server.  She then refused to help me any further because she said it was not a Telus problem, and there was nothing she could do.
So that is my first question to everyone out there:  Is this a Palm Pre problem, or is there a problem with the Telus smtp mail server not accepting messages from the Pre unless they are addresed to an [email protected] email address?
This morning I called Palm techcinal support, and after being on hold for an hour, I got connected to "Juliette".  Juliette took down my info, and said she would not be able to help with this.  She said someone will phone later today or maybe in a couple of days, and that I should be patient.  So, no solutions there.
    Any ideas anyone??
    Cheers.

OK folks, I think we have a winner.
I finally got frustrated so I sponsored a conference call with a Palm Level 3 tech support guy, the Telus rep and a Bell rep.  We were on hold for a total of like 45 minutes as I chained the call along and finally got everyone on the same line.
So here's the deal: The setup has to be done manually as thepoet suggested.  The incoming server is OK as imap and imap.telus.net with no encryption.  The outgoing server has to be set to point to mail.1xbell.ca with NO authentication, port 25 and no encryption.  The initial Bell tech support guy was quite close to the solution, just the wrong port number and the wrong sequence of setting it up.
I have been able to send successfully, but want to try a couple of more things before I declare it a complete success.
Thanks for your help Poet, much appreciate your persistance.
