In F110 Automatic Payment Run, I want to generate check numbers but without creating a spool. I want to do so because the interface would give the cheque details straight away to the banks. Also a spool should not be created in system for control purposes to avoid duplication.

Hi,
Create a blank payment form and assign it to the payment method in FBZP. Thus no cheque is printed / spool created when running the print program in F110. At the same time cheque numbers are also generated.

Create a form without the option to submit or send via email

Just oant to know is it posible to create a form without the option to submit or send via email. I want my students to fill in the form and save it to a personal folder. The submit form button creates confusion.

Many thanks Randy, I'll give it a go. But it means setting up the how to pay question at the top of the form. Currently we have it setup at the bottom.
Think I can do a "Will you be paying by credit card?" check box at the top - Tick equal show Fields A (which I have already mapped to the payment option) and Unchecked Show Fields B.
Sound logical..will be cumbersome though as there are 12 mult show/hide fileds in there already here's the link just for the original form for future reference for anyone in the forum wanting to see what the form looks like and is facing the same problem.
Will make the changes in a quiet perios and anyone interested can take a look next week and see how I got on.

Basic button or hyperlinked text to send email without form

I am relatively new to LiveCycyle Designer (included with my copy of Acrobat Pro ), and I am working on a form in which I am trying to set up a basic button (or text hyperlink) for the user to click on, to contact me by email for information.
I don't want to submit or attach the form/data from the form. I've tried scripting a "mailto:" item (for example using gotoURL), but on clicking the button, it doesn't work. So far, every solution I've found attaches the form, and I can't figure out how not to attach it.
Is there any way to script a button or hypertext email launch using mailto: without also attaching the form or data?
UPDATE: I think I found the answer:
xfa.host.gotoURL ("mailto:[email protected]")
So, no further help needed.

If you upgrade to 10.4 there is a widget that will let you compose and send mail without opening Mail.
Here's two other options.
1. Does your isp have a web based email?
2. Download a program like thunderbird for email. When you configure it end phony information for incoming mail and only fill in the correct infor for outgoing mail.

Saving an Adobe Interactive Form without dialog in background

Hi'
I hope someone here can help us.
Our client uses an R/3 system, version 4.6C, where data for the Interactive form is generated.
We use an RFC call to send the data to a NetWeaver system.
The RFC generates our Adobe Interactive form in the NetWeaver system.
We need to save the generated PDF file onto a harddrive in this background processing ( in the RFC ) immidiately after the file has been generated.
Any ideas as to how we save the file?

Here's one way I could think of doing it. Not sure if it's the most efficient. There may be some function modules out there....
You write a small program to print an Adobe form from the RFC.
Before you call Job open (CALL FUNCTION 'FP_JOB_OPEN'
), set the following parameters of
sfpoutputparams.
Set the outputparamaters to suppress the dialog
utputparams-nodialog = 'X'.
Set to print to a dummy printer
outputparams-dest = 'LP01'.
Set a spool request
outputparams-REQNEW = 'X'.
Then you can call a program like rstxpdft4 to download the PDF file.

How to generate a Spool based on output type in SAP Script

Hi all,
Is it possible to generate a spool based on output type for a SAP Script (without explicitly trigger in Tcode VF02 and selecting output type from there )
Actually a background job will be scheduled to process output types selected in VF01 / VF02
When output type is ZABC in the background a work flow is called pdf is generated

Contact form without PHP Help!

I'm trying to create a contact form to send an email to me
when they click on the submit button. I'm using the "getUrl and
Mailto). It works when I set the variables manually, but I can't
get it to store the value of the user input fields to use in my
message body.
This has got to be a simple matter of syntax or placement of

Sorry Sachin, I mean that I created a simple form on the page from the widget and started adding fields to it. The more fields I add the slower the delay becomes in creating a new field. Even when I try to select and drag or move an item, there's a huge delay and sometimes the program feezes, loose what i've done and have ot restart.
I'm doing an enployment form that has more than 20 fields, at least, and I need to be able to build the fields in separate categories, like Education, Past Employment, etc... quickly without delay issues.
I can probably send you a snap shot of what I'm talking about if I cna post it or attach it here..?

Want to generate single spool for diffrent documents

Hi All,
I have developed one BDC which will call report 'FBZ5' (for print form for payment documents). The print report is copied from RFFOUS_C.
FBZ5 is used to print one document at a time so I have created this BDC for multiple documents.
The probelm wat i m facing is BDC is generating sinlge spool for each and every document. I want to generate only single spool for multiple documents. Wat should I do.

I had a similar problem and the resolution was to update program ZRVADOPFO as follows:
before the * open form line insert the following:
 if sy-batch = 'x'
 and nast-vsztp < > 3 or 4
 clear lvs_itcpo-tdnewid
 endif
This solved it for me. Good luck.

I have a requirement to find print program and form name from the spool list.
I got the list of programs and forms from TNAPR table, I also want to find out any custom program sending the form directly to the spool.

The easiest way of printing a list while creating it, is for the user to choose Execute + print on the report's selection screen. The user can choose between displaying the list on the screen (choosing Execute) or printing it directly without displaying it (choosing Execute + print).
use this function module SET_PRINT_PARAMETERS' to send a report directly to spool.

You can send a list from a called program directly to the spool system instead of displaying it on the screen. To do this, use the TO SAP-SPOOL addition in the SUBMIT statement:

Heavy performance issues using Adobe Interactive Form PDFs generated by SAP BPM

Dear experts,
we use Adobe Interactive Form PDFs (generated with LiveCycle Designer) as Human Tasks within SAP BPM processes. The PDFs are generated and transmitted correctly, but when they are opened at the receivers PC, Windows freezes for 2-3 minutes, then the PDF opens and can be filled out and sent back. The next PDFs can be opened much faster, but when the PC is restarted, we get the same problem again. We use Adobe Reader XI (11.0.2) on our clients; is their any know performance issue?
Please note, that we have this problem with EVERY Adobe Interactive Form PDF... I created a simple PDF containing just a field and the client PC still freezes. So it can't be in the form or the scripting. Normal static PDFs can be opend without any problems.

They haven't really announced it, because there is no product to announce. Rather the opposite.
There are no conversion tools, so far as I know.
XFA forms are a non-starter if you want portability.
AcroForms are a nightmare in themselves, because the functionality is limited in Adobe Reader and varies between absent and weird in other products. No idea about Blackberry support.
You will not find a simple recommendation. Rather, you need to use Acroforms and carefully test everything (EVERYTHING: no assumptions) on every platform you intend to support.
Yes, rather unsatisfactory, but until Adobe realise that the future is platform equivalence or irrelevance, this is where we are.
