Send just one Aperture photo to a flashdrive?

God help me... if ALL my mac apps are sooo.... easy to learn/use then: why is it so difficult send an aperture photo to a flashdrive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What problems are you having?
Make sure the flash drive is mounted and accessible from the finder.
In Aperture select the image then File->Export->Version, select the flash drive as the destination.

Problem Process: Send E-Mail
I have a form that has data entered onto it 3 different time by 2 different people with an e-mail that needs to be sent after each entry.
User comes in and request to have work done. Clicks button to send e-mail so that the appropriate person can see the request.
Appropriate person goes in and gives it an estimate so that the person requesting will no how much it costs. Sends e-mail back.
User goes in looks at data and approves. Send e-mail so that work can be done.
Problem: Send e-mail click sends all emails.
How do I set this up so that it is only sending the e-mail that the button click asked for. These are three different buttons referencing 3 different processes.
Any help is greatly appreciated. If more information is needed please ask and I will try to supply a piece that is missing.

Hi Chuck,
the best way to find out what's going on is to enable debug mode for your application and run your page in debug mode. Click on one of the buttons and check in the debug output what actually happens. But you can also upload your application into a workspace on apex.oracle.com so that I can have a look.

How can I attach more than one file , whenever I attach more than one and I send it just sits there. If I send just one it goes thru , what am I doing wrong.

I just purchased Aperture and have 20,000 photos in my iPhoto Library. Can I import only certain events from iPhoto into Aperture or do I have to merge the whole iPhoto library?

I just purchased Aperture and have 20,000 + photos in my iPhoto Library. I see that I can create a unified library between the two. I am wondering if I can import only certain events from iPhoto (like only 2014 events) into Aperture or do I have to merge the whole iPhoto library? Are there any benefits to bringing the whole iPhoto library over to Aperture (iPhoto is SO SLOW for me, I wonder if it is because I have so many photos). Or, any detriment to only bring a few events over?
And, if I don't merge the two libraries, I assume that means I cannot do it at a later date?
Help. My local Apple store has had very few Aperture workshops, and the next one is like 2 months away.

Disk space - it says 114.43 GB out of 499.25 GB free. I have no idea if that is enough.

Again, I am not sure how to know if I have 3rd party software...but I don't think I do. Is 3rd party software anything non-apple?
I will try rebuilding the library. if that doesn't help, maybe I need more memory...? That is what Apple suggested, but that, of course, means buying something else. I've already bought APERTURE, on their recommendation...
It wasn't, and they told me it was slow because I had too many photos for iPhoto to handle and that I should buy Aperture. Which I did.
What is your iPhoto version? Are you using the most recent version 9.5.1?
iPhoto can handle 20000 photos, no problem. Your computer can be slow for several reasons:
The most common problem for slowness - insufficient disk space. Don't let your free disk space drop below 20 GB of free space, better more. If the operating system does not have enough working space and the applications you are using, you will notice a very lagging behaviour.
Older or incompatible softweare can cripple your mac. Do you have any older third-party software installed, that might have installed incompatible kernel extensions?
Aperture might be slow or keep crashing, if you imported a corrupted image or incompatible video, that cannot be processed. Then Aperture will try over and over again to create previews and never succeed. You could test for this situation, by launching Aperture with the Shift-key held down. This will defer the generation of previews. If Aperture will launch and work better this way, you probably have some bad media in your photo library.
Another problem to check for is a corruption of your Aperture/iPhoto library. You have run the First Aid Tools to repair the iPhoto Library, but have you ever tried to rebuild the library? See this post by Old Toad: Rebuild iPhoto Version 11

Should I create an Aperture library and import all of my photos from iPhoto to the new Aperture library? Then delete my iPhoto library entirely? Just trying to get my library structure correct from the get-go as I plan to shoot only in RAW.
That is not an easy question. There are still a few glitches with the unified library approach. For example, the new iWork applications will not yet show the Aperture library in the Media Browser, only the current iPhoto library. If you are using iWork with your photolibrary, keep it an iPhoto library.
And it is unclear, what will happen, when Aperture or iPhoto will be upgraded to newer versions. Right now you need the latest iPhoto version to be able to upgrade older iPhoto libraries, if you want to open them in Aperture. So probably you will need to upgrade iPhoto as well, if you keep your library an iPhoto library, when both Aperture and iPhoto will be upgraded to Aperture 4 and iPhoto 12.0 or similar. In the long run it will be safer to convert the library to an Aperture library, if you do not want to keep updating iPhoto, but that can wait.
If you want to convert the iPhoto library to an Aperture library, back up your iPhoto library.
Then create a new Aperture library (with File > Switch to Library > Other/New ) and then import your iPhoto library into Aperture using the command "File > Import > Library" and select your iPhoto library.
You will need plenty of space on the drive with the new library. Merging a library into another one will temporarily a lot of working space and may take a long time - several hours for a large library, without visible progress.

When you import to Aperture using this method you get all the versions that iPhoto has - Mster and Edited version. If you haven't edited the photo then tow possibilities:
A: the photo is Raw and you'e gettting the automatic preview that iPhoto creates on import as well
B: The shot has an auto-rotate tag from the camera

Take heart. We can help.
First turn on page view so you can see how the content of your sheet fits on the page(s). A Numbers document contains sheets (listed on the left) which in turn contain tables, charts, text, and graphics. Select the sheet you want to print on the left, then enable page view by selecting the menu item:
"View > Show Print View":
Now you should see your content and how it fits on one, or more, pages. If thie content is too big for one page use the controls and the bottom left of the window to expose the sheet controls:

Have your husband text the word "stop" to 48369. This should take his number out of the iMessage system.
Go into your settings under messaging and make sure the box to send as an SMS if iMessage is unavailable is checked.
Hopefully this will get your messages sending/receiving to each other.

I want to be able to send a text message to just one person at a time.
My iPhone 4s keeps sending messages to all the people that have been grouped with the intended recipient, no matter if I put ONLY that recipients name in the box.
I have:
     - cleared out the list of previous messages (even tho I hated to do so).
    - turned off group messaging.
     - shut down my phone, waited 30 min and restarted it.

I had a similar problem in that my wife's iphone 5 could not send pics with imessage. Had to set the settings to default to SMS or whatever. After laboring many hours on the web I coincidentally was on the phone with the internet people to question my internet speed. They changed the router channel, which is something that I am capable of doing myself. After that, the pics go over imessage. My own Iphone didn't have the problem. We are both latest IOS 7.0.6.
