Send Webdynporo Java request for ABAP to a specific server

Currently, we have Solution Manager 7.0 (EHP 1.0, ST @ Stack 24) installed and also have configured Service Desk Management. This is installed on our Central System Landscape which currently has 2 servers, the central instance (CI) and also a dialog instance (DI). The DI we is configured specifically for Adobe Document services.
In Service Desk when using some functionality of the work centers, we noticed that the Webdynpro send request to a ABAP work process. Sometimes this request routes to the CI and sometimes it routes to the DI. In the DI, we have it's resources (memory, CPU, wp sizing) sized small to only run Adobe Document services. I am not sure I understand how webdynpro determines which server to route the ABAP request to, and I am wondering if there is a way to control this.
Specifically I am looking for a way to direct a Webdynpro request for all Serivce desk activities to a specific server (in this case the CI). We have tried going to SICF transaction and for all the known Service Desk services using a logon group in the Load Balancing area, but this has not worked.
Anyone have an ideas/suggestions or can help clear up how this works for me?

Well.. i rebooted to safemode, and was there able to connect to both the website and the mailserver. Went back to normal mode, and removed LogMeIn Hamachi (which was set to offline and disconnected from anything, completely inactive, you'd say) and problem was solved...

User mapping when installing JAVA addin for ABAP

I have installd SAP ABAP on a domain.
As the ABAP went fine and successfully gets installed.
When I am installing JAVA addon for ABAP it is throwing an error lke the users are not mapped.
So can any one guide me where actually I should map the SAP users in a domain.

Your question is very vague, please post the full error.
As this is a java add-in it should user ABAP as datasource so no user mapping should be required.
User mapping is used where java and backend system use different datasources and the naming conventions are different...
Theres not enough information here to give you an objective answer.

JDev sends many net requests for web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd

When using jDeveloper 9.0.3, I have observed:
On startup, jDev sends several (50?) requests to java.sun.com for web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd.
The 'current' project in jDev is a web-prosject containing Struts 1.0.2, and the Struts TLD files are included as files in the project. (this is the only files where I can find a reference to the mentioned .dtd)
I can understand that jDev does a http get for this file, since the TLD file reference it as remote, but so many requests? (startup of jDev takes 2-3 minutes...)
If I remove that project from my workspace, and add it again, this behaviour is not seen before I start to edit a file in the project (makes it current project). Then startup of jDev changes from 15 seconds to 3 minutes.
Many requests for the DTD is also sent:
- if I close a TLD file with that .dtd reference in the editor pane,
- if I remove the project from the workspace.
Anyone else who have seen this behaviour? any workarounds?

As far as I can see all the classes and jars are in the right place and the .tlds and .xml files all seem to tally
Check if commons-logging.jar is in your project WEF-INF/lib. If not copy it from <jdev_home>/jakarta-struts/lib.

i want to send an email without a attachment after the customer has filled a form.
The Webdynpro for Abap action must send a notification Email to the
service department about these new request.
Has anyone an example how to send an email with Webdynpro for Abap.

How to create a billing request for service order that has serv contract?

Dear Experts,
Can you please help me?
The scenario is, my client has service contracts with their customer but they want to charge customers not periorically but as and when they provide service (ad-hoc).
So how to bill the customer in this case?
In my testing if I have a service contract (order type = SC) then when I create service order, system automatically picks up standard order type SM01. (which is service order with contract.)
And when I perform time confirmation and material consumption (goods issue), actual costs gets booked to the service order. However, using the service order number as referece, if I try to create a billing request in DP90, system create a blank billing request with no line items.
So, could you please advice, how can I create a billing request for a service order, if I have a contract?

Ok, these are the steps how I have executed the process.
- I have created a service contract for an equipment. In the service contract, I have maintained the service material in the line item, maintained price and assigned equipment in the technical objects.
- I created service notification, which automatically picked up contract.
- When I create service order, from notification screen, system automatically picked up correct order type SM01 (Service order with contract).
- Then I planned operations and spare parts in the service order.
- Checked settlement rule in the service order is SDI.
- released and saved service order.
- Using IW42, in SAP ECC6, you can perform both time confirmation and material consumption using the same screen and also TECO service order. System issues message to say, goods issue have been posted.
- when you check the document flow of service order, you can see operations posted, and also goods issue posted.
- check cost tab to see actual costs. (if I want to settle costs from service order to service contract, I can do so w/o a problem in KO88)
- Use DP90, enter service order number and create billing request. System takes to billing request screen but it is blank. No line items.
- So, since there is a contract, in this case, am I meant to be creating the billing request from Service contract? instead of from Service order?

Message flow in SAP PI 7.31 JAVA only for ABAP Proxy synchronous scenario with Oracle DB

Dear Experts,
I am working on a synchronous scenario Sender ABAP Proxy <===> SAP PI 7.31 JAVA only <===> Oracle Database.I have successfully
configured all the proxy configurations as well both Sender SOAP and JDBC receiver channels are showing no error when pinged from
Cc monitoring in NWA.
1.During testing at Tx SPROXY , I am triggering a message and after 5 minutes I receive an PARSING error message with 2 messages in ECC
local IE i.e. Tx SXMB_MONI.
Note : In NWA , I can see only 1 message that too in cancelled status.
2.Seeing the trace of the messages I assume that the messages have not moved from sender ECC system. I am still confused with flow of message
from the Message Audit log. Audit log of error messages.Could any one share the full Audit log of a successful message generated in SAP PI 7.31 JAVA only.
3.I observed that the QIN Scheduler status in ECC is in INACTIVE status. There is no queue id for 2 messages generated in ECC. Does
it should in ACTIVE status in Tx SMQR..

1. Since I don't have any audit log for successful message, would you be able to share referring to the
below screenshot whether the message was put into receiver JDBC adapter and JDBC adapter tried to retrieve the Select response from Oracle Database.
2.I have done some setting in Advance mode of the receiver JDBC to increase the time out and other parameters as per SAP note but still the issue is same. If you perhaps have some experience in such scenarios, please share some input so that I can ask the Oracle Database administrator exactly what is required from our side.
3.Regarding the slow response from Oracle , there was some suggestion that the datatype of the request and response should match the column name of the Oracle database. I did that.. Do you have any more suggestion that may be hampering the generation of the response message from the Oracle like SAP note or document.

Transport request for ABAP OO Class

Hi,
I have created a class with multiple methods and saved into one TR. Now under the TR contains task and under the task contains
->Class (ABAP Objects)
 ZCL_VRL_ZCFA_CLASS =>This is normal and fine.
Now I have created new class with 3 methods but the methods are recorded separately and the class name recorded separately, please find the below details.
SD1K977104(Main TR)
SD1K977105(Task)
->Method (ABAP Objects)
 ZCL_BASECLASS CHECK_CONTRACT_MCON_ACON
 ZCL_BASECLASS CHECK_CONTRACT_QUOTATION

The separate recording will be happen when the TR is transported earlier, whenever creating new class this separate(class and methods) recording should not happen.
While transporting into Quality the first method trying to activate but the second method(which is called in 1st method) doesnt exist at this time. Anyhow the class(Object) getting transported and activated and working as expected but transport error log appearing in SE09/SE10.

My question is why the class name and method name recorded separately.

There is no separate ABAP HR version.. it is consistent with the SAP Version like 4.5b,4.6c,4.7, NW04,NW04s etc.. HR was orignially not a core module of SAP.. I think SAP bought a HRMS Company & integrated their software into SAP as what we now know as HCM.. It was probably done as early as the 3.0 Version during the late 90's or even earlier..

Can you debug the program while execute?
I think there is some hardcoding in the program for checkiing the client and then raised a custom message in the program.
Can you share the coding of the prorgam if possible?
Try to check for any messages raised in the program. Also click on the on the message pop up and see the details on the message and let us know.

Is it possible to connect to a Adobe Flash Media Streaming
Server by a java client?
I need to be able to receive a streamed RTMP flash-video and
implement the following functions:
- PLAY
- PAUSE
- STOP
- GO TO A SPECIFIC POSITION
I need to implement this player on a non-top-level Swing
JComponent in Java (because this is the restriction I have from
sun's wonderland, where I want to implement this player)...
How can I do that in Java? Are there any code examples
available or do you know an API or other possibilities to do that?

This is a pretty big question. Is it possible? Probably. In
theory it should. But *normally* the client is based on the flash
player. I believe the protocol is publically available if you want
to roll your own.
But if you are looking for readily available solution, there
is none that I know of.

I can't connect to my Yahoo calendar, getting error, the server responded with an error, the request for account Yahoo failed, the server responded with 502 to operation, caldavaccountrefreshqueable operation

I was connected to my Yahoo mail using ical but kept getting the error message. I deleted my Yahoo profile from ical and then added it again. Now all my entries in my Calendar are gone and I am still getting the error message.

I am tired of how Yahoo has gotten worse and worse. It is the ONLY account I get problems with DAILY (even after removing and re-adding). AOL will act up once in a while not taking a saved password but accepting it when OK is clicked.... But Yahoo is always responding with such errors.... Today's calendar error is:
The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “Yahoo” failed.
