Sender interface from R/3 6.20 to XI 3.0

I am trying to get our <b>R/3 6.20</b> back end talking to our <b>XI 3.0</b> environment. I have been successfully making receiver RFC BAPI calls to R/3 as well as plain_http sender and file sender to XI.
We need to pass HR/Payroll information from R/3 to another 3rd party system via XI. Originally we wanted to use the ‘HTTP_POST_FILES' function but this sent the ABAP generated XML in a multi-part mime type which the XI plain adapter appears to not accept.
Also, due to the lack of SOAP handling and ABAP proxy generation in 6.20 this does not look a viable solution.
Can anyone give me advice on the best way of <i>Sending</i> data to the XI system from R/3 6.20.
Thanks in advance
Ben

The best method in regards to performance will be ABAP proxies. They are also very easy to generate. Since you are pulling from a custom table, I wouldn't bother with RFC's or IDOCS. Proxies do Native XML communciation with XI.
To get them up:
1) Have basis install the plugin via transaction SAINT.
2) Create a message interface in XI for the structure of the data
3) Go to transaction SPROXY and generate the proxy for the message interface
4)A class now exists with a method to handle the call directly into XI. Use this method in your ABAP program to push the data to XI
As for XI, no sender agreement will be requried with Proxies, however they must be maintained for RFC's.

  • Sending Data from BI to Third Party System through CIB Interface

    Hi Experts ,

    Hi,
          My problem is solved.
    Sol:  Getting wrong data from third party sytem. They are adding spaces in front of the payload and end of the payload so it was not processing. After deleting that spaces its is working fine.
            Thanks for your help.

  • Send Mail from webmail interface, appearing to be from gmail account

    I thought this topic came up during the .mac/mobileme debacle that occurred a while back, but i can't find anything about it. Here is my scenario. I use my .mac address as my main email address and use aliases for website signups, etc. -- anywhere i don't want to give out my "good" address. However, i am in the middle of job searching and have created a new gmail address specifically for that - it keeps things cleaner and allows me to give out a very specific address -- in the past i've found my email ends up earning me spam when job searching. So here's what i want to do. I want to be able to send/receive mail from my Mail application AS WELL AS the mobile me webmail -- is this possible? so that when a potential employer gets the email it is from my "job search address" but allows the convenience of a single hub (versus logging into gmail separately from my mobilme.
    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your thoughts - i really appreciate it!

    You can't send mail from the MobileMe web client that appears to be from Gmail. You could send email from Gmail via Mail, which is quite easy and you would not have to pretend that it's from somewhere else. And if someone sends you an email related to your job search, you can receive it via Mail and then BCC it to your .Mac account.

    - SLDCHECK work properly,<br>
    - none of the users PI* type not lock,<br>
    - password to the PI* users in exchangeProfile entered correctly,<br>
    - In VA in the JCo RFC Provider I have properly configure: AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER, LCRSAPRFC, SAPSLDAPI_SID - from the ABAP I can connect to this programs ID<br>
    - In VA in SLD Data Supplier I have properly configure bookmarks HTTP Settings and CIM Client Generation Settings. CIMClient Test is OK<br>
    <br>
    I do not know what else I can see, what else I have properly configured ... I looked at the notes:: 936093 jak i 721548...<br>

    I increased logging in the NWA (Configuration -> Log Configuration) - and increased the some things here to log ALL. So that from the NWA (Monitoring -> Logs and Traces) I see a little more information (but does not follow that with which the user is a problem).<br>
    <br>
    Here are some interesting logs ...<br>
    I was most rash or irritation of those that say about the lack of credentials u2013 I must use Viusal Administrator and set good service ...<br>
    <br>
    What do I have done:<br>
    In the Visual Administrator -> Cluster -> Server -> Services -> SLD Data Supplier<br>
    I have set in the HTTP Settings tab the host and port SLD, the user name and password is also entered as it is in the SLD. To be sure, already have set for the user entered here such roles as:<br>
    SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR<br>
    SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR<br>
    SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER<br>
    SAP_SLD_GUEST<br>
    SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER<br>
    Maybe we are talking in this place about a different user?<br>
    <br>
    Similarly, when it comes to tab CIM Client Generation Settings - here's all the same thing done. CIMClient test shows that everything is OK.<br>
    When I click the button: This trigger the transfer of data to the SLD gets the message that everything was shipped correctly. Indeed, I received an instance of JAVA in SLD<br>
    Also clicked on this icon: Assign application roles to user group - got information that everything is attached properly.<br>
    <br>
    By ABAP side, the connections: INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI, SAPSLDAPI, LCRSAPRFC, AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER and AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER work correctly, ie I can perform the test - which means that programs ID are properly positioned in JCO Provider in VA.<br>
    <br>
    Puzzling is this message:<br>
    The SLD data is inconsistent.<br>
    <br>
    Strange also that the message (from the ABAP everything is available in SMGW no errors):<br>
    Connect to SAP gateway failed<br>
    <br>
    And what is this error:<br>

    Hi Narendra,
    Message is clearly showing that your system is not reachable
    102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to SAP gateway failed Connect_PM TYPE=A ASHOST=10.1.45.35 SYSNR=01 GWHOST=10.1.45.35 GWSERV=sapgw01 PCS=1 LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host with Unicode ERROR partner '10.1.45.35:sapgw01' not reached
    Please check to ping the BI server  IP 10.1.45.35 from your XI server , in case its working you can check telnet to SAP standard port like 3201/3601/3301/3901 etc.
    It seems to be connectivity issue only.
    Make sure your both the systems are up and running.
    Revert back after checking above stuff.

  • How to read Sender Interface name in adapter Module in PI 7.31

    Hello All,
    I am working on Adapter module .it accomplish to generate file with message id,message key ,sent time,received time,FromService(Business system names),toServiece(Business system name),sender interface name,receiver interface name .
    i got all details in my file by calling module data by method get principal data,but i am fail to get sender interface in that file .
    can you please guide me how to get sender interface name in adapter module.
    I am getting some information from this following blogs
    https://scn.sap.com/thread/1583665
    How to read Sender Interface name in Adapter module
    but i am facing same error what they faced.
    Please guide me to how to get sender interface name in adapter module.
    Thanks
    Ganesh

    Hi Ganesh
    Write a module in the sender adapter and use this piece of code
    Message mes = null;
    mes = (Message) inputModuleData.getPrincipalData();
    String SI = mes.getAction().getName();
    Also you can read the same by creating a UDF in message mapping
    Following is the code
    InputHeader inputHeader = container.getInputHeader();
    String SI = inputHeader.getInterface() ;

  • How to read Sender Interface name in Adapter module

    I have a need to read the Sender Interface name in an adapter module that will be attached to a Sender SOAP channel. Any ideas on how this can be done.
    I am familiar with the following code construct from the docs
    Hashtable mp = (Hashtable)inputModuleData.getSupplementalData("module.parameters");
    fileName = (String) mp.get("FileName");
    What is the key name (in the hashtable) for Sender Interface name ? The docs seem to be silent on this
    I dug around some and found references to "mp.context" and "message.interface". I guess I could just test this out but I dont have deploy access and I dont want to keep asking the BASIS group to deploy the module while I play around with different combinations...
    So would the following work
    Hashtable mp = (Hashtable)inputModuleData.getSupplementalData("mp.context");
    interfaceName = (String) mp.get("message.interface");
    Thank you
    Anil

    Hi Anil,
    I am not sure of how to get the Sender interface name. I even tried the code that you suggested above. It gave me a null pointer exception.
    I think instead of Sender Interface name you can decide upon the Sender System/Service.
    To get the Sender System Name:
    Object obj = null;
    Message msg = null;
    obj = ModuleData.getPrincipalData();
    msg = (Message) obj;
    String SenderSystem = msg.getFromService();
    Here based on the sender system you can do your partner specific processing in Proxy. Instead of Sender Interface Name.
    Hope this helps

    Aravind

  • Synchronous send step from ccBPM

    Hello Experts,
    I'd like to ask you if you have an idea how to configure synchronous send step from ccBPM. So scenario is quite simple:
    1. async start of process
    2. sync send to system A
    3. continue of process
    What I already did is:
    I define abstract sync interface everything including names is the same as target sync service interface. Then I define async abstract SI with a name of Request Message type and async abstract SI with a name of Response Message. I of course use Receiver From property set to Send Context...
    In monitoring it looks like this: I successfully call sync interface, but the way back???... First of all process does not wait for response but continue with other steps and response doesn't not have service interface, namespace and receivers properties set(service, interface, namespace)...
    Does anyone already face this problem or do you know how to send sync message from ccBPM in PI 7.1?
    Many Thanks,
    Milan

    A BPM cannot process further without receiving the response message of the SYnc Send......
    In the req and resp tabs of the Sync Step of BPM you have to use the correspoding Container Variables (which you have defined with the ABS Async Req and Resp MIs).
    I am having few Sync steps defined in some BPMs on PI7.1 and all are waiting for the response and then only proceeding....if any error then BPM wont progress (rather should not).....below are the settings of my Sync Step:
    Mode: Synchronous
    Create New Transaction: Unchecked
    Synchronous Interface: FileDetails_sync_AI
    Request Message: Container variable for Req MI
    Response Message: Container variable for Resp MI
    Receiver From: Send Context

  • How to send message from multiline container to same webservice or bus. sys

    Hi All,
    I want to send message from multiline container to a syn web service sequentially.
    I am getting that multiline container after a transformations step (1: n mapping).
    where i dont known what will be the value for n (number of message in multiline container). This will vary; depend upon input message to BPM.
    Scenario is like this.
    1. Receive step
    2. Transfromation to 1: n
    3. Want to send message from multiline container to a web service (business service),default loop and block step doesn’t give desirable result.
    any help will be appreciable
    Regards,
    Adish

    Adish Jain wrote:>
    > where as, if I will use block, it will send the same message to multiple receivers which are present in multiline receiver container. So need to think in different manner.
    Not necessarily.
    When you use block step in ForEach mode, you can select the container variable from:
    - a receiver container;
    - an interface container;
    The line element can then be either a receiver or an interface.
    The problem is that for this to work, the interfaces need to be async (since they are to be used as containers) and hence you won't be able to make your scenario work.
    But again, explain why your scenario with loop step didn't work.
    The only gap here is how to determine the number of loops (defining the counter variable value). But that can be easily solved if you include a new message with occurrence 1 as a target message of your mapping and as a container in your bpm.
    This new message needs only 1 single field, that should be filled with the number of messages you've created in the mapping (you could use count standard function, f.ex.).
    In your bpm, make sure to pass this fields value into the counter container right after your transformation step.
    Regards,
    Henrique.

  • Sending Email from PLSql Oracle 8.0.6

    Has anyone got any ideas or achieved this: Sending Email from PLSql for Oracle version 8.0.6 using the limited technology support in this version, i.e. UTL_SMTP & UTL_TCP are not supported.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Sending Email from PLSql for Oracle version 8.0.6 using the limited technology
    support in this version, i.e. UTL_SMTP & UTL_TCP are not supported.That's because they use Java and Java doesn't work with versions older than 8i. Does 8.0 support external procedures (I went straight from 7.3.4 to 8.1.6)? If so you might be able to cobble together some C to interface with smtp on the OS. Otherwise I think you're looking at writing some client-side application to do this.
