Sending inbound payload to another receiver based on the first receiver response.
My Scenario is like
File to WebService. Once it receive the response from the web service i want to send webservice inbound payload to another file system.
can anyone plz provide me the steps to achieve this one

once again,
File systems A -> FileA -> WS.request message -> WS
WS responds back with WS response message
1. now do you want to send the WS response message to File System A?
then follow the blog mentioned in above responses
2. do you want to send the WS response message to File System B?
follow the blog. only difference in the receiver determination from BPM to file sys use the File system B as the receiver and configure file receiver adapter with that file systems detail
3. do you want to send the WS request message to File System A?
same blog only difference is after sync send step you will have to have another transformation that will map the WS request message to the req. target
4. do you want to send the WS request message to File System A?
same as 3. only receiver sys and CC details will change

The sap system is sending us a field, that is not avaible on the web service we are consuming.
The problem is that the sap system requires this field at the responce.
How can I read the inbound payload, when I'm mapping the outbound responce?

Well, I will ignore solutions 1 and 3. The project has an a "must" not tu use BPM and is not possible to modify the web service due it's a closed system (legal issues).
And regarding the second point, are you proposing to create an RFC on the sap system?, The problem is that is not possible to reconstruct the relationship between the responce and the sended message. That is why I need to read the outbound payload.
Is there any walkaround to "export" this field at the outbound mapping (Context objects?) and then import it at the inbound mapping? Where are the messages stored?... I was thinking that maybe i'll be able to read the sended message using ABAP mapping, using the msgid to read an ABAP table (dont know which one). Can this be done?

How to populate Second drop down based on the first drop down value

Hi Experts,
i have a HTML BSP page. with 2 drop down with SELECT and OPTION tags. i need to populate the second drop down based on the first drop down value.
i tried HTMLB script they work good as stand alone when i try to embed the HTMLB with HTML it does not work.
Please can you give me a solution only with ABAP script and HTML.
please clearly let me know on what event i should implement it. sample code is really appreciated .

You can have event handler for first drop down . Then populate the data for 2nd field when the event triggers on first field.

check in settings > mail contacts calendars, and in the contacts area you should be able to change how the names are viewed

Is column visibility based on the first page of the result set or the entire result set?

I have tried, in vain, to play with the column visibility expression in my report. So where my Business Unit is "MC" or "FM", then I want to display column "HCFA Number"...otherwise hide it. If I run strictly for "MC"
it works! If I run simply for "CO" it works! And doesn't show! But if I combine "CO" and "MC", it is hidden and I would expect it to be visible since "MC" is part of my entire report.
Here's the expression I came up with for Column Visibility...
=IIf((Fields!BUSINESS_UNIT.Value = "MC") OR
(Fields!BUSINESS_UNIT.Value = "FM"),FALSE,TRUE)
Am I missing something here or just being dense late on a Friday???

It seems you have add parameter based on the "Business Unit" which is multiple values and when you select the "CO,MC" the entire column "HCFA Number" is hide, but what you want is to hide the CO related "HCFA Number"
and show the MC related "HCFA Number", right?
The expression you are using to show/hide the column visibility will based on the current filtered entire result set. That is mean the entire column "HCFA Number" will be show when the result set contains "MC" or "FM"
or both, otherwise, it will always hide.
In your scenario, you can set the row visibility using the expression and you will get the result like below:
You can set the visibility of the textbox "[HCFANumber]", but the CO related "HCFANumber" will be blank:
If I have some misunderstanding, please try to provide more details information about the expect result you want.

Ok. First off.
1)Open up the video that you want to convert in QT.
2)Go to view, Movie info.
3)Check the formatting of the video. If it is MPEG1 or 2 Muxed(something like that), then when you try and convert it, you will only get the Video, no audio. It has something to do with in that format it is all one thing or something. I dont know for sure.
But if it is something else that MPEG1 or 2 Muxed, then continue
4)Go up to File(I believe it is), and select Export(If you cant select export, then connect your Ipod, then you should be able to select export)
5)Select the spot you want yor video to be saved. IE: Desktop, a folder...
6)Select the formatting that you want it. Most likely "Ipod 340x280(I think those are the numbers)".
7)Hit "save" or what ever the button is, then let it do its magic over night, and vwhala! A video perfect for your Ipod.

How do I read a txt file and keep only IP addresses based on the first 2 or 3 octets of the IP?

I'd like to create an output file which has only one entry for each unique entry in the file where either the first 2 or 3 octets are unique as follows:

1. It already reads in the file. The (@' .. '@) bits are just there to create a file using your test data to demonstrate that it works.
2. Not user what kind of "details" you want. There really isn't much there, and get-help on the cmdlets used should provide information on what's going on with them in that script.

Sort a table with two columns based on the first

I have a powershell table with the columns 'Used Perc' and 'ID'.
This was formed from the following

Before this, the file $STATDISKOUT had the columns 'nUsed_Avg', 'nSize', and 'nStatisticalIdentificationID'.
My question is, how would I sort the new table based on 'Used Perc' but keeping the corresponding 'ID' column lined up to the right value?

We use a select statement to reorder columns and recalculate, The formatters just go at the end to adjust the display.

When I Google something in Fierefox 4, Google provides a drop down list of suggested options based on the first few letters, so why can't I choose an item off the list like I used to with earlier Firefox versions.

I updated to Firefox 4 yesterday. If in Google I type say LON it gives a drop down box offering choices like 'London underground', 'London tube map'. If I want to choose one such option, I click on it, but the Firefox/Google search does nothing. I have to type the whole thing out in full. Everything worked fine with FF3.

Adapter development - sender/inbound integration

hi,
i have few questions to ask ,in relation to adapter development.
1) the sample adapter given part of the documentation contains implementation representing a file oriented integration process.can it be deployed as an adapter and tried in the adapter framework for integration?
2)if the answer is yes to previous question,does the SAP's transaction managed provide transactional capablities for file access ?
3)the ManagedConnectionConnectionFactory implementation provided part of the sample adapter also implements Runnable interface stating the purpose of supporting sender/inbound integration.how the client can initiate a sender/inbound integration without any support from the implementation's jca cci to send the message from its
system ?
4)is there some clear example of sender/inbound integration implementation done part of the JCA adapter ?

2)if you see the SPIManagedConnectionFactory's sender/inbound integration implementation (to be specific sendMessageFromFile() method)the tx manager obtained from SAPAdapterResource is started ,file is copied and finally the tx is called to commit.that's why i had ask the second question .
3) the sample adapter implements CCI only for receiver/outbound integraiton,i fear i didn't find any of such support for sender/inbound integration

is it possible to get F4 functionality for a record in column in ALV based on the first 3 records of the same column....
material vendor shipping contract

the contract value should only come based on the first 3 records of the coulumn and it shouldnt show any other value...other than combination values of first 3 records.....

How can I pull info into a report using just the first two characters of that field?

I am trying to pull a total cost based upon locations in a particular area(s). Can I get the formula to just do this based on the first two characters of that field?
Here is what I have so far:
if {PACKED.LOCATIONS.NEXT OPERATION} = ["xx"] THEN {Job.Total_Price}
Packed locations is a table I'm pulling from and the column I want just the first two digits is the the Next operation. Once this meets the "xx" (whatever location) then give me the total price from the Job table.
This works for one or two orders, but then blows up when I do 10 or so.

Create a new formula and place it in the field where you see the {Job.Total_Price} field (Detail or Group depending on your report) with the formula:

You can go ahead and suppress that field.
Create a new formula to place where you want to view the summary using the formula:

This method allows for a higher degree of flexibility and you can search for the first x characters of that field instead of only the first 2 characters
