Seperate Project for EF

I am following a example on creating a ASP web app using the entity framework, but I have a database already created I would like to access.
I would like to use the entity framework classes in a couple of projects. Is it considered a good practice to put the entity framework. code in a separate project?
Do you put all the controller code in the entity framework project or in the web portion of the project?
When creating the project for the entity framework would I still use a web project template or would I use a DLL template?

Personally, I would like do that puts data access code to a separate project which would make us easy to manage it.

I do not quite understand what you mean about the controller code, if you mean business code, I would put them into a separate layer which we could call it business layer. It is not recommended to put business code and data access part code together.

If you are creating a MVC project, this project has already helped us constructed a separated layer. If it is just a common web application, you could create a class library project for your Entity Framework, and note do not forget to copy the connection
string in your class library project to your web application or it would throw an exception.

I was wondering if its possible to have all the test cases form different projects in a single project(which would only contain all Junit test cases) and then fire these tests from that single project.
So the idea is to have multiple projects but all the Junit tests would be compiled in a single project. Is there any way i can accomplish this.

You should create seperate projects for each par.

You can check them in the same workspace.

When you create a DC and there is an option of importing a par file onto your Development Component. If you have a parfile already you could use this option.

Rocker-65 is correct, large, long and complex projects can have problems resulting in a Error-108. Sometimes cutting a Project up into pieces or just cutting into 2 can help. Easiest way to accomplish the cutting is to create a Duplicate Project. Then just cut Project 1 in half, saving the first part. Duplicate Project gets cut in half and contains the second part.
Then if you want to stitch them back together, export each project individually at 720p. Import each one BACK into a new Event Folder in iMovie and combine then in a new Project, export that.

Income Tax Projection for Retiring Employees

Hi Folks,
One of our Employee is getting retired in the month of August, As per SAP,In April-2009 his IT projection happens for the entire financial Year April to March 2010.
That is his IT projection for APril to March is 5Lakhs, but his actual earnings from April to date of Separation (till august) is 3.5 Lakhs, because of this his Tax liablity from APril to July goes high and in the month of August there is a refund.
Now for retiring Employees how can we make the IT projection happen only till the month of Retirement. Is their any standard process available or through custom development.
Experts Plz advice.

I have personally checked this, as facing the same problem. AND THIS IS WORKING, THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION.
HOWEVER THERE IS ANOTHER SOLUTION ALSO.
One can create an retirement action, which has to be executed for all the employees going to retire during the year.
system will calculate the gross and project the tax only upto the retirement date.
if exttn is required you can also config the retirement-exten action in case of extension is carried out.
Rather than touching the standard scheme this is the best way I know? you can also fetch the reports in the future with the help of standard reports.
However, if anyone is having any PCR idea, that is also welcome. Do give me a helping hand by share the same.

How do I set up a seperate account for my wife?

We finally purchased a nice new iPhone for my wife. But she would like her own iTunes account. How do I set up a seperate account for her? She has her own laptop, with an iTunes account on it that I was using. Should I just un-install that iTunes package and have her download a new version? I'd rather have two versions so I don't lose the music on that old iTunes account. It's not huge, but would be a PITA.

FYI: iTunes account (used to make purchases) is not the same as iTunes library (iTunes on your computer with music, movies, etc.).

You can but you will not be able to limit what she syncs.

Each of you can create your own playlists then sync only those playlists.

I'd suggest you consider a cloud-based file sharing service such as Dropbox for this sort of use. iOS is not designed to be synched with more than one iTunes library at a time, so attempting to use it as you describe, connecting a single iPad to multiple computers, almost certainly won't work as you intend and is likely to cause nothing but headaches.

You can have a master paid account which create forms for each of your departments and have each deparment have their own account (could be a free account). The paid account can create the forms and share each form with the right deparment. This way each deparment have access to their own data only and can't mess up the other deparment forms and data.
Really though.... I would recommand for each department to have their own paid account so that they are in full control of their forms.

When I define a User interaction activity in my Oracle BPM 11gR1 Process and associate a Human Task to it. It generates a new project to hold all my forms. Anyone knows if it's possible to use this same project for different Human Task's ?

After you generate the UI project for your first human task, you can right click on the project in JDeveloper and select "New", click on the "All Technologies Tab", then "JSF" -> "ADF Task Flow Based on Human Task". Then browse to the .task file from your BPMN/composite project.
