Sequence not update

Hi,
I have the following problem:
A client device came to us with an invalid sequence out of range.
This client device synchronized "correctly" but would not update the sequence
of the table that had the problem.
Why does this happen? Is there any way to update without having to uninstall and reinstall the client device?

have you done a rebuild of the client?
There can be a problem with sequences (there is a problem in the c$default_pub_qpkg package) if you have synchronises with no sequence updates (eg: download only) and then you do a complete rebuild of the client database. In this circumstance you may find that the sequence current values roll back to the min value.
To avoid this we always reset the user (cut, paste and save a data subsetting parameter is the simplest way to do this) to force a reset of the sequence ranges before doing a complete rebuild of a client.
If your sequence ranges overlap with server sequence ranges or you have loaded the same client onto multiple devices you can also have table id values not matching those of the client. If you have view based publication items also be careful about how the virtual PK values are created on the server as this can cause duplication if not the same as originally created on the client

  • AME 2014 Export Error. Sequences not updating from Premiere.

    It seems that queuing sequences from Premiere Pro to AME via Ctrl+M is forever broken as that causes Premiere to hang and crash on the "Export Media" dialog box. This has been broken for several months. I have talked to developers with no resolution to this. Because of this, I now can only export projects by dragging sequences over to AME from Premiere. This has worked fine until a few days ago.
    What happens now is that AME gets part way through encoding a video and then hangs and fails encoding. I get the super helpful

    I have created new sequences with the same media, removed 3rd party audio plugins, moved all the footage over to a different drive, tried to encoded to a different format like AVI, and I have tried setting the encode to save on several drives. It always fails at the same point. It seems hang and fail on clips that I created in AE, which are rendered using PhotoJPEG .MOV. I tried rendering the clip where AME fails using a different AVI container, but it ended up failing in the same spot.
    The strangest thing is that when I disable the clips in Premiere and dragged tried rendering, it hangs on the same clip as if it wasn't disabled! I have also deleted the clips from the timeline and they still show up in the preview window in AME and it hangs on them and then fails!
    Here are my system specs:
    Premiere Pro CC (up to date)
    Win 7 64bit (up to date)
    i7 970
    24GB Ram
    NVIDIA 470GTX (driver up to date)
    3 x 1.5TB internal
    4TB internal
    3TB internal
    12TB RAID 5 via USB 3.0
    USB 2.0 and 3.0 drives
    FireWire audio device (M-AUDIO FireWire1814)... although, I am not using it for playback. It is connected.
    Footage is from C100 H.264 .MTS, PhotoJPEG .MOV from AE, JPG Stills, simple titles made in Premiere Pro, color mattes, and .WAV audio clips
    All stock video effects and transitions.

    Adobe Media Encoder (AME)

    I tried a re-install of PP and AME, moving all assets to another machine and encoding, enabling and disabling "Import sees natively" in AME, enabling and disabling Mercury in PP and AME, and I got the same result. AME fails encoding with a "error compiling movie" error. Same result when I tried to export from PP.
    The only thing that worked was re-rendering all the clips that I created in AE using a different codec (was MOV PhotoJPEG and I re-rendered to Lagarith AVI). This seemed to work. When it would fail in AME it would hang on a frame for several minutes before giving me the sheep sound. The original MOV PhotoJPEG clips from PP played fine in the sequences and in media players. No drama, no glitches.
    Not sure why AME wan't updating the sequences from PP. The fix for that was launching AME with Shift held down to clear preferences. Also I made sure I saved in PP before I dragged over to AME for encoding.
    Hopefully this will help someone else along their journey. Thanks for looking!

  • Changes to master nested sequence not updating in new sequence

    Good morning - I have spent the past half hour or so searching the forum for this topic but have not found the answer. If the answer exists elsewhere, please point me in that direction; otherwise, here goes:
    I created a nested sequence by simply dragging one sequence (A) from the browser into a new sequence (B) in the timeline. Later, I went back to Seq A and replaced all of the audio (which was in-camera audio) with clean audio from a Tascam field recorder. So far so good. However, Seq B still plays the original camera audio and is not reflecting any of the changes I made to Seq A.
    I tried deleting audio render files, quitting and restarting FCP, etc., all to no avail. I have the latest versions of the OS and FCP. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    As you've probably found there are several ways to create/edit nests into sequences. The manual points out an advantage of using nested sequences is you can make a change and that change will be reflected in all the subsequent nests. As you've also found out, this isn't exactly true.
    The only way I've found to have communications carry forward to nests from the original sequence is if I edit the sequence into another sequence via the Canvas overlay/edit keyboard shortcuts from the Viewer. I've found dragging and dropping to do as you've found.

  • After Affects CS6 comp do not update in Premiere Pro sequence

    Since CS6, if I change an After Effects project when the comp is already in a Premiere Pro timeline, the comp won't automatically update on the timeline, but it will update on the source monitor.

    I'm having a similar problem. I have 2 Mac Pro machines that have recently been updated to CS6(Production Premium). This occurs on both machines. And is not specific to any one item being changed. It occurs to any changes being made AFTER rendering into PPro.
    If I link between PPro & AE comps/sequence, I can make changes in AE and it will update to PPro as long as it has not been rendered. However, if I render the sequence in PPro, and then go back to AE and make changes(and yes, I am saving it before returning to PPro), it does not unrender the PPro sequence, and will not update.  It remains rendered in the sequence as if nothing has changed. No matter what I do to the imported AE comp in PPro, it will not unrender. (short of adding an adjustment layer with an effect above it all in the sequence to force it to unrender - this is my workaround for the moment).
    I've gone so far as to delete the linked comp out of PPro, and re-import the AE comp, and if I drop it on the same sequence it pops immediately back up as rendered.  My guess is it has something to do with the global cache.
    This is not a legacy issue, as this project was created from scratch in CS6.
    Here's the workflow
    Create PPro Proj  -> import footage -> edit video -> save.
    Create AE Project -> edit composition to desired effect/graphics etc... -> import or drag comp from AE to PPro -> Lay AE comp on video layer above base footage -> Go back to AE make any desired changes and Save -> return to PPro, and project is updated -> Render ALL in PPro ->  realize something needs to be adjusted in AE -> go to comp in AE, make adjustment & save -> return to PPro and find that it will not update/refresh/unrender.
    I can duplicate this exactly on the other machine as well, so it's not a specific issue with a specific machine.
    Am I missing something short of clearing out the entire render folder in PPro?

    It is possible to enter multiple documents.
    You can enter a list of single documents or in intervals.
    Enter the document number in ascending order.
    Ex:
    Individual documents.
    10001,10003,10011
    If the documents are in a sequence you can enter the Interval like this
    (10001,10011)

  • Can not update MS-Acess 2000 db; currently locked

    Running CFMX7, IIS6 on Win2k3. Using <unfortunately>
    multiple Ms-Access 2000 mdbs. One application in particular is
    erroring out constantly. I have "maintain connections" unchecked.
    Line 86 is the location of the update query. The update query DOES
    NOT use CFUPDATE...it uses CFQUERY with update statement inside.

    I did eventually get it to work. The most important piece was
    changing the CF datasource type from MS-Acess to ODBC-Socket.
    Making this change was the single biggest improvement I could
    have made. It must be because even though the CF Datasource type
    says MS-Access, it's actually using a JDBC-ODBC bridge, whereas the
    ODBC-Socket is using the "old" or "previous" method of using ODBC
    directly. So you need to make sure you have an existing ODBC entry
    in the windows odbc administrator (odbcad32.exe).

    My problem is while GR against PO, inspection lot for the goods receipt is created automatically and system selects the inspection type as assigned to next status, BUT, When Quality person make a UD to inspection lot, the system NOT sets the next status in the status sequence i.e status not updating on UD. And even when UD is done for the existing lot system not allow for GR of next lot. 
    Kindly let me know where I am wrong.

    The problem is due to missing authorization object :B_USERSTAT".
    Assign this authorization object in your id/role and give necessary values in the fields (activity, authorization key, object category and status profile) and then carry out the transaction again.

    Please help me in resolving the issue which i am facing at the time of standard cost estimation.
    My client has a concept of subcontracting where raw materials given to the vendor as free of cost and pay some amount(labour cost) for converted as SFG. My client SFG cost would be Raw material cost + amount paid to the vendor(labour cost) this cost has to update in MM standard cost fieldwhen i run standard cost run. But system is calculating  standard cost as raw material cost only and even not updating my material master.
    Ex: Raw material A: Rs.100
          Raw material B: Rs.150
    Labour cost at the time of SFG convertion: Rs.10
    My standard cost must be = 10015010 = Rs.260.
    System updating only Rs.250  and not updating my Material master too...

    Check your configuration for valuation variant..by mainataining following things you will able to get charges paid to vendor in cost estimate
    1. Enter Special Procurement Type for Subcontracting in Material Master MRP data 2 or Costing Data 1..
    2. Enter Purchasing Info record for this material and vendor and Info record type for subcontracting in ME11 here, you need to specify the labour charges for the said combination (take help from you Material Management Consultant)
    3. In your Valuation Variant..go to subcontracting tab and select Net Quatation Price as a strategy sequence..
    4. Test the results in CK11N..

  • Data not updating in database

    Friends i have table and i have created a sequence on basis of that table.
    For 1st page i have created an html region and made few items there and a save button.
    I am filling data to the fields in page 1 and clicking the save button. In save button i have passed the address of the items of 1st page to items of 2nd page which contains the same field of page 1 and few more additional field.
    the 2nd page which i have made is on basis of form on a table or view and taken exsisting sequence there. When i clicking the submit button in page 2 it is not updating my database and throwing error called unable to fetch row. Any suggestions on this?

    Lev addition to this i wanted when my create button in 2nd page get clicks my database gets updated and also a query runs which checks the same data of combination variant_type,model_code,year_manuafacture. It means if i have 2 records in database with same variant_type,model_code,year_manufacture then in the field how_many in page 2 count of 3 gets updated and the other field solution avaiable get updated with Y.
    For this in my local system in page 2 i created a plsql process and wrote this code and applied it with create button but its not working. Any idea where i am failing?

    The SSIS Package deletes the current week's data, reloads it with fresh data, then calculates the difference between the current week and last week.
    The problem is that randomly, instead of deleting the current week, it will delete the previous week.  This happens maybe 5-10% of the time.  At least it does until I rebuild the package and import it into SQL Server again.
    I'm guessing that the Execute SQL Task is not updating the value of the Week variable before it executes.  I started with the source type being a variable.  Then I decided to try Direct input and pass in the Week as a parameter (OLE DB Connection
    Type).  That didn't work either.
    Most recently I tried writing the Week variable to a table first, then having a sequence container with all the tasks second.  Slightly better but I still saw the date was wrong 2 times in about 90 executions.  I was hoping that writing the Week
    variable out to the database would force an update of any associated connections to it, but that didn't seem to work.
    Any ideas?  Is this a known issue, am I missing a setting?

    John, computers either work all the time or have a bug. I suspect it is the latter.
    To find it [faster] you need to log what the resulting expression was used in the package.
    I am baffled how rebuilding a package would fix anything like setting a date.
    It might be even dependant on when you run the package.
    Why

    It must be enough to set the week (that appears to be a date) as above.

  • Bug:  Histogram Does Not Update when Using Painting Tools

    I was investigating something else, and I saw something not working...  I'm under the distinct impression that the Histogram panel should automatically update after every operation.  Having the Histogram panel displayed full-time on the screen, it should always be up to date.
    However, when I Dodge or Burn or even paint color on an image, the Histogram is not updating. 
    If I select one of the History states I've just created, it updates.
    Consider this simple sequence of operations:
    I'm able to reproduce this failure in Photoshop CS5 as well, BUT NOT IN CS4 (it updates in Photoshop CS4 after every painting operation), so clearly it's not a new bug, though somehow I've managed not to notice it in my years of using Photoshop CS5.
    Is it broken like this for everyone in Photoshop CS5 and 6?
    Could this be some twisted attempt to try to optimize painting performance?  If so, why isn't there an option to allow a user to request it to update on every operation on a fast computer with cores out the wazoo?

    Just poking around in Photoshop CS6 to see what, if anything would make the Histogram display update...
    Even though the Refresh icon is disabled (and the "Uncached Refresh" entry in the fly-out menu is grayed-out), double-clicking in the topmost histogram display will force it to update (as described above by Conroy in post #1 above).
    If I change the selection Channel field in the Histogram panel, mostly it does not update, but when I change between some of the settings - for example between RGB and Luminosity - the graphs update.  Amazingly they revert back to the un-updated state if I switch the channel BACK to what it was!
    Making a selection DOES cause it to update.  
    Choosing Select - Color Range (just starting the function) DOES cause it to update.
    Hitting the quick mask mode button DOES cause it to update. Notably Edit in Quick Mask Mode is in the Select menu.  Could an association with Select be a clue?
    This bug is easy to reproduce, is shown to be a problem across multiple versions and multiple OSs, and in at least one case (Photoshop CS4 x64 on Windows 7 x64 here) it can be shown to work properly, so the code is probably not far off being right.  Seems to me this should be the kind of thing a junior engineer could find and fix so someone, say,  at Chris Cox's level could have it done before 5 today...

  • Values not updating in Condition records

    Hi All,
    Small question for you all -
    We have a condition record for TAX (ZVAT) this has three access sequences on it, one of these feilds for access is the HT (OIHANTYP),
    Nowe the problem is when HT = 01 then Vat should be calculated at the correct rate of which it does, but when you change the HT code to 02 then the Condition does not update, the only way around this is to carry out new pricing not ideal,
    Also if after changing the HT code and saving the order the order still does not update.
    Just as a side we also use scales and this works fine, if you amned the qty up then the rate chages automatically with these adjustments, it only seems to be when we change the HT that this problem occurs.
    Also just notice we are also using split valuation items, so also the batch needs to be maintained, if you get the right combination of Batch and HT then the condition updates all o, any ideas where this maybe set?
    Any help or comments are most welcome

  • Item status of SC of subtype ER not updated after creating BDI invitation

    Dear Experts,
    Our process is that we push a PR from ECC that creates a SC of subtype ER in SRM.
    In a Z program we based on some criterion we consolidate the line items of these SCs and create BID invitation for these.
    After BID invitation is created for the SCs what should be the status of these SCs in BBP_PD?
    In our system it is showing
    HEADER          I1021              Created
    HEADER          I1038              Completed
    HEADER          I1106              Shopping Cart Ordered
    HEADER          I1129              Approved
    0000000001    I111                Item in transfer process             X
    For ITEM the status is not updated to I1113 follow on documents created.
    In the Z program we check if the SC Item has status I1113, if yes it means it is already processed for BID else process it for BID now. Since the SC item status is not updated properly same SCs are getting processed again .
    How can we update the ITEM status for a SC of subtype ER after a BID invitation for the SC is created?

    Forgot to mention we are on SRM4.0 .
    I solved the issue by calling FM BBP_PD_SC_STATUS_CHANGE_DIRECT(passing item guid and status) and BBP_PDH_DIRECT_UPDATE (passing shopping cart guid) in sequence .
    Now the item level status is updated correctly.
