Serialization error in OIM 11g

Hi,
I have a custom jar file in OIM 11g which is causing this issue,
<All session object
s should be serializable to replicate. Check the objects in your session. Failed
to replicate non-serializable object.
java.rmi.UnmarshalException: error unmarshalling arguments; nested exception is:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Failed to load class ...
Please suggest what should be done to avoid this.

I don't like to extract each peace of information using at least two posts.
Is you custom class serializable? Does the class implement the Serializable interface to make it serializable? If not implement this interface (just add implements Serializable to your class definition) and try again.
If this doesn't help you should give more and detailed info.

Please check if you have followed the below steps to install PS1
1) Install Database
2) Run RCU and create Schema for PS1
3) Install Weblogic Server 10.3.6
4) Install SOA Server 11.1.1.6 and Install SOA patches
5) Install IDM Server 11.1.1.2.1
6) Create Domains
7) Configure Security Store Python Script
8) Start both Admin server and SOA server (in 11g R2 SOA server is not required ) but in PS1 it is required to start SOA server before configuring domain.
9) Configure OIM and Design Console
10) Start OIM managed servers

UDF Creation Error in OIM 11g

Hi,
When I tried to create new UDF under "Custom Attributes" category (through OIM Admin Console), it throws below error.

I have restarted the server and tried again but getting the same error.
Please help me to fix this...

Yes i specified the unique parameter attribute in the connection parameters screen. (unique-attribute: userid)
and also specified the matching only for one attribute in the mapping screen.

Thanks for the reply. As suggested by you I have assigned the default value as 0 for all the checkbox type in form designer for AD User form but still I am getting the same error while provisioning the AD resource.

IAM-2050242: Orchestration process with id 815, failed with error message IAM-3010201:LDAP create event failed: Object Class Violation.
any pointers?

Try to check which OBJ Class violation are you hitting , for example: If you have uniquemember instead of member and try to add more than one member this will be a rule violation. Eg: ADD request to an attribute that is included in an account entry because the attribute entry has been existed prior to the ADD request.

Service date is a varchar field(VARCHAR 2 BYTE) in our trusted table. Its mapped to service date field in OIM 11g which is of type date.
Please let me know if I need to change the field type in our trusted table.
Note: The same configuration is working fine in OIM 9.x.

Now, i went into IDM schema & altered date fields to VARCHAR2(30 CHAR) for all the date type attributes. Now, when I ran schedule job is worked fine and didnt got any errros. But now the trusted recon is not creating users. I dont know why users are not getting created. Can you please let me know which all things should be checked to make a recon a trusted recon so that it creates users.

The Connector Server is installed on the AD instance, and the key has been set, and used appropriately in the Active Directory Connector Server IT Resource in OIM.

Getting Error - Cause: Status of the batch is not 'Completed' in OIM 11g R2 during Trusted Recon

Hi All
I am new to OIM 11g R2. I am trying to create custom connector for trusted recon. The case is to migrate the users from 10g to 11g R2. The recon event is created but it is in Event Recieved status and when I re-evaluate the event, its giving error - Cause: Status of the batch is not 'Completed'.
I saw in some posts to change the recon batch size parameter to 0 and restart the server. I have done that but still I am facing the same issue.
There is no child data in the attribute mapping and user login is set as key.
Any inputs are welcome on how to get rid of this error.

In Web Console Job Scheduler, I had one Recon "LDAP FULL Recon" which has a property
"OIM Employee Type" which was before "Full-TYpe" i changed it to * & it worked.Now I am able to generate events.
It seems like value of Employee Type has an Issue in OID, please correct me ?

Check oracle certification matrix first. Your SOA is uncertified. What error you are getting in logs? Check log file shown in image.

OIM 11g: SAP HRMS User Recon gives error

Hello,
I am using the SAP ER (Employee Reconciliation) connector, version Version: 9.1.2.2. I have upgraded to bundle patch 3 (BP3).
Connectivity to SAP works. I have run the manager recon, org recon and it brought in values.
When I try to reconcile users (using limited reconciliation) from IDOCS, it finds the user, creates a reconciliation event but ignores it. On querying the recon event the reason given for not linking is "Data Validation Failed"

"Invalid ManagerLogin : 10000037" 10000037 is the org number in the lookup and its corresponding personnel number 00016901 is not being picked up.
There is a known bug that if a user with that personnel number (i.e 00016901) does not exist in OIM 11g then OIM will not insert the record (bug 9688099), so to work around this, I added that personnel number to a user in OIM (USR_UDF_PERSONNEL_NUMBER). Still the same.
Has anyone seen a similar error? Any ideas on what I could be missing? Troubleshooting tips?

This turned out to be an Oracle bug.
Bug 9539918 - BOTH MANAGER ID FIELD AND ORG UNIT FIELD IS DISPLAYED WITH ORG UNIT VALUE
This has been fixed in9.1.2.4 version of the connector. Patch11656991
