Serious problem requiring URGENT assistance please!

I've been editing a short film shot on RED in 4k using Premiere Pro CS5 but have encountered an error with the following message when I last tried opening the project:
Premiere Pro has encountered an error
[..\..\Src\Clip\Masterclip.cpp-2802]
There's a button to continue after which, Premiere runs into a serious error and has to close. This happens everytime I open the project and literally started out of the blue it seems! I can "recover" the project and continue work on the edit by creating a new premiere project and importing the old one into the new one but the problem then persists after saving and closing the project and re-opening on my next session!
The other major problem that this is causing is that I cannot export .AAF or .OMF files out to my sound designers - the export will begin but then the progress bar will "hang" and not go any further. I previously exported an .AAF and .OMF for this project as a test to make sure it will all work and it was fine, but since getting the above error and having to create fresh projects out of old projects I cannot get these files out to complete the film! This problem also extends to things using dynamic link it would seem - for example, if I try to export the timeline using AME, the progress bar will get stuck at "connecting to dynamic link" though curiously if I do a direct export through Premiere I have no problems and can export an encoded video. Also, it seems I can still export edl's and FCP xml successfully, though after successfully importing an xml back into a new premiere project, the error struck again soon after when I tried to select the entire timeline and copy it to the clipboard to paste it into a new sequence!
I thought it might be an idea to delete all the temp files in the media cache folder buried deep within my c:drive, thinking that may be causing the error, but to no avail as I still get the error issue.
I'm getting very worried about the integrity of my project and all my hard work being ground to a halt or worse still totally corrupted so I would appreciate any assistance from someone who may have a solution to this problem! This has been a real pain as the edit has been going swimmingly up until now and we're fast approaching a deadline we were trying to make for submission to some film festivals, so I desperately need to get this to work so I can export the omf and aaf at the very least to my sound guys!

Ok, so I seem to have pinpointed the problem a little further... here are my findings so far:
So, the project I am running has multiple sequences. I've been using different sequences for different progressions of the cut, so if I made a major revision to a cut, I would duplicate the sequence, rename the copy and continue work within this new sequence to cut further.
I just did a test trying to export an OMF from a sequence iteration previous to the most current one that I'm working within and the export works just fine! In fact, I then proceeded to trying the export from all other previous sequences (I four or five in the project in total) and they all work fine when trying to export etc - it's just the most up-to-date cut that is bugging and I can't figure out for the life of me why this is the case!!!
The last test I tried was trying to copy and paste the contents of the troublesome sequence into a newly created sequence (I did so by first duplicating and then with that failing, creating a completely fresh sequence instead) but I must be copying over the error/bug as that new sequence suffers the same export issues as I have already detailed in my original post.
If anyone can help me with this issue that would be wonderful as it's getting quite frustrating being such a weird little bug that is setting our schedule back!

Issue in Retrieving and Restoring My Backup from Blackberry Link for Z 30. Require URGENT Assistance. Please suggest.

I have been facig this issue for last few days and it's absolutely insane to retreive my own BB Z30 backup via Blackberry Link. I beleived this is 1 User Interface which connect BB to computer (Win. or Mac or Other devices ) and make your life easy.

are you getting any sort of blue screen? if so, what numerical and text codes are you getting with it? (ie 0x[zeros/letters/numbers] CAPSANDUNDERSCORES)
if the blue screen mentions a specific file, let us know what that is called too. (exact spelling, please.)

Serious problem after migration assistant - any ideas?

I bought an iMac this weekend and for various reasons did not configure with data from my MacBook Pro when I first turned it on, but waited until two nights ago to use Migration Assistant to transfer all but users.
I updates both machines fully with Software Update first. MigAsst went fine until I hit the begin option and after a few minutes the iMac told me there was a problem with my MacBook Pro (MBP). I quit MigAsst on the iMac but even after an hour I couldn't escape it or quit the MBP, so shut down using the power button.
When I restarted, I had a black screen with lighted keyboard and startup chime. I hard-restarted, same thing happened. Third time, I got the grey apple window with no apple for about ten minutes, then a light blue screen with the spinning spokes (not the rainbow) and a slightly darker window with no spokes. The two blue windows alternated back and forth for maybe 8-10 seconds each endlessly until I restarted.
Since I live about 4 hours from the nearest Apple store and tech support was already closed for the evening, I restarted from the Snow Leopard disk and repaired permissions (there were many repairs) and repaired the disk (was told it was fine). I restarted and got the grey-blue-blue cycle again.
I reinstalled the OS from the Snow Leopard disk and everything worked fine - I ran as many tests as I know how to, even perturbed the casing slightly wondering if it was a loose video card wire or something. Nothing. It all worked fine for several hours until after the second Software Update (which as I recall was only Java and iTunes), and now all I get is the black screen again. Also, now the green light on the power cable is not glowing even though the battery reads as fully charged and the keyboard and startup chime are all hunky dory.
I'd think it was a video card issue, but there are too many incongruous symptoms. If I could at least start up from the OS disk again I could get my data off... Any ideas, diagnoses or suggestions would be much appreciated.

The problem is described in a different post as well, and it is considered to be answered. However, the answers are not very satisfactory because they are complicated.
The underlying problem is that MacOS is looking for a FileVault user, while after migration the user files are actually not within a FileVault bundle.
I believe that there must be a setting to change the login properties for the user to not look for a FileVault user, but for a plain, non-encrypted user. So please, somebody from Apple answer this questions!
Command line very welcome, because I only have a command line user right now. And oh, my MBA didn't ship with a boot DVD so I don't even have the chance to reinstall my system easily. Also, getting my data out of the FileVault on my current machine, transfering everything again (almost 250 GB) and then putting them back into FileVault seems a bit too much effort for what appears to be a simple bit set somewhere…

Serious problems with El7/8: please help!

I really hope someone can help me-I've had no luck whatsoever with the customer support team.
I have been using El 3 very successfully for a couple of years. I recently upgraded to El 7 in order to be able to edit HD video and SD video together. The software works fine, however if I come to move multiple clips at once along the timeline, I get the black circle with a line through, and a small white box. This means I cannot move multiple clips. For me, this makes the product unusable.
I downloaded the trial for El8 and was please that this bug was not present. I have since ordered El 8 and installed it (a fresh install ith El 7 gone), however I have discovered that with this I cannot play any video in the monitor window! Again, this renderes the produce useless. I now have two pieces of software that are unusable, and I am receiving no help whatsoever from technical support. Please, can anyone assist?

First thing to try...with Premiere Elements 8, Edit Menu/Preferences/General and uncheck "Enable GPU Playback". If that does not help, then check out the AdobeTech Note:

Now, in the case of Premiere Elements 7, could you please go into detail about how you are "moving multiple clips along the Timeline"? Are you working on one track or mutiple tracks? How are you grouping these clips prior to the move? Where are you moving them to and from? Etc.

RE: el 7, I have been filming several scenes for a short film with the drama group I work with. Due to outside circumstances I have been editing back to front (so the last scene is currently at the beginning of the timeline etc.) What I am trying to do is select the clips and shift them to the correct sequential order on the timeline. I have tried highlighting all of them and clicking group, and simply tried dragging them as one big highlighted block. The clips are on seperate tracks, but I have never had any such problems with El 3 which I have used extensively in the past.
What is of particular interest, is that if I select sauy 6 tracks there's not a problem, it's when i select ALOT of tracks I run into difficulty.
I have also tried updating the graphics drivers recently for my GTX 285, which seemed to solve the problem on EL 8, only for it to then go back to what it was doing?!?

Partition failure! Require URGENT help please!!!

Okay so I was just using the Boot Camp assistant to install Windows 7. During the set-up process, Windows reported that the partition disk which I made (30 GB partition, FAT32) has to reformatted to NTFS. As a result, I changed my mind and wanted to remove the partition as I thought this process would be too complex for me!
So I went to Disk Utility and clicked on my hard disk and then selected the partition tab. I removed BootCamp partition by clicking the "-" sign and pulled down the Mac Hard disk back to its original space. But I didnt notice the "Apply" sign over there and just closed the Disk Utility!
Now its showing less hard disk space!
Here's what the problem is:
Originally
1) 320 GB hard-disk with 260 GB free space (all before partitioning the disk)
And now after removing the partition and my HORRIBLE mistake,
It is a 286 GB hard-disk with 239 GB left.
Please people, I really love my MacBook and I don't want to cause any harm to it!
Please, please help me get my Mac to get back to its original hard-disk state!

Serious problems with footnotes. Please help!

Working with InDesign CS 6 with a book containing about 200 pages with 330 footnotes, numbered from 1 to 330 throughout the whole book.
This day suddenly adding a new footnote at the beginning of the book (somewhere between footnote 11 and 12) is no longer possible. InDesign stops working and has to be ended by way of the taskmanager.
When I add a footnote somewhere between footnote 280 and 281 it is still working.
When I delete half of the book and half of the footnotes it is also working.
So there seems to be a capacity-problem where InDesign "says": enough footnotes.
I am not optimistic about a solution because (as an old user) I am aware that Adobe not repaired even the smallest imperfections concerning the management of footnotes since Pagemaker 3.
But does someone know a solution or work around?
The only thing I can think of is to manually add "footnoot-like" comments under the text on every page and placing some superscript sign to "fake" real footnotes. That is what we already have to do if we want to place a footnoot inside a table. Another very old and never solved problem! Even not after 10 years!
I am also uncertain if breaking up all these footnotes starting new numberings for each section will solve the problem as the TOTAL amount of notes will not change. But adding a footnoot AT THE BEGINNING of a small section (with less footnotes) may "push forward" less notes and therefor may (?) prevent InDesign from crashing?

Has anyone else ran into this? and if so, do I need to worry?
I ran my usual check on the mac drive via "Verify Disk" option. It came up with "needs repair"...etc., and told me to repair it. I did a command r during boot so I could do a repair, and the software told me "your mac drive seems to be ok"??? Some kind of glitch, or need I worry about it at all? Thanks for any assist.

Ok, I'm a little confused, please explain if you would. The way I look at this is I basically received faulse readings from "disk utility's "verify disk"" because when I followed procedure afterwards, which everyone knows is to use the installation cd to run "repair disk", it told me everything was ok (or in essence there wasn't anything wrong at all). This is normal? This makes no sense to me, can you please explain it, or point me to an Apple support article explaining it? Thank you sir for your time.

Mainboard: MSI 845e Max2-Blr
Memory:512MBDDR(256Xms2700 Corsayr;256MB Seitec 333mhz)
Video:Abit GF4 Mx440
HD:60GB Deskstar IBM
OS:Win XP PRO
The problem is:
My computer worked fine until yesterday when the xms memory arrived.
I opened my Pc and put out the Seitec memory that I had to test the Xms memory. They went really good. Then I tried to put them together
but the computer didn't finish the boot process, it booted until the Win xp logon, so i tried to change the memory slots where the memory
were placed but nothing happened until when i mounted on the pc only the XMS2700 CL2 Memory module that funcioned before.
The computer didn't boot.The I saw that the leds on the D-bracket were all red, that means the Cpu is damaged or not installed properly.
I tried with the other memory stick but same problem.
Please help me as soon as you can.

Serious problem with Zen Neeon - PLEASE H

Ok, this problem is driving me INSANE. Can someone please help.
No matter how I put music on the mp3 player (dragging MP3's in explorer, importing them through MediaSource organiser, or even ripping them direct from CD on to the Neeon), all through each song I get constant clicks, pops, and ski

I have tried different USB ports, i have tried different USB cables, and i've tried both WMA and MP3 and all the same result. Crappy tracks that constantly have noises, skips, click etc throughout them. Then when i copy the files back on to the computer, the noises ont he tracks remain.
Please help! I have always supported Creative (this is my second Creative MP3 player) but this is driving me crazy.

try to reinstall again. They had a message last night that there was an error, the download wasn't available for awhile, I was able to download and reinstall this morning.
I had uninstalled all apple products and tried to install but the download had disapeared till this morning. Worked after reinstall.

Poor image quality on DVD made in iDVD - Urgent assistance required PLEASE

I have imported pictures to form a slideshow in iDVD. The pictures are great quality and look good but the problem I am having is how distorted and blurry they become when burning the dvd.
They look good for a split second when they transition in and then transition out, but become distorted whilst on display (set for 5 seconds)
I need urgent assistance please with this matter.

I agree with Bengt - there are better ways to make slideshows. Here is mine:
There are many ways to produce slide shows using iPhoto, iMovie or iDVD, but they all have one thing in common: they reduce the quality of the photos to that of a movie still frame and sometimes limit the number of photos you can use.
If what you want is what I want, namely to be able to use high resolution photos (even 300 dpi tiff files), to pan and zoom individual photos, use a variety of transitions, to add and edit music or commentary, and to end up with a DVD that looks good on both your Mac and a TV - in other words end up with and end result that does not look like an old fashioned slide show from a projector - you may be interested in how I do it. You don't have to do it my way, but the following may be food for thought!
Firstly you need proper software to assemble the photos, decide on the duration of each, the transitions you want to use, and how to pan and zoom individual photos where required, and add proper titles. For this I use Photo to Movie. You can read about what it can do on their website:

(Other users here use the alternative FotoMagico: http://www.boinx.com/fotomagico/homevspro/ which you may prefer - I have no experience with it.)
Neither of these are freeware, but are worth the investment if you are going to do a lot of slide shows. Read about them in detail, then decide which one you feel is best suited to your needs.
Once you have timed and arranged and manipulated the photos to your liking in Photo to Movie, it exports the file to iMovie 6 as a DV stream. You can add music in Photo to Movie, but I prefer doing this in iMovie where it is easier to edit. You can now further edit the slide show in iMovie just as you would a movie, then send it to iDVD 7, or Toast, for burning.
You will be pleasantly surprised at how professional the results can be!
