Servicegen include sub class used by serviceClass

I have AbstractWSBE class which will expose service to users, how can I include
all other classs used by the AbstractWSBE webservice class using servicegen?
should I use comma to list all other sub class with AbstractWSBE?

The javaClassComponent specified in the servicegen cannot be
abstract. At deploy time WS runtime need to create an instance
of this class.

an alternative solution. If you could create a small reproducer, then
this will help them with a clear picture of your goal.
One more problem, wls deloy my WSBE.ear as a war correctly. But error show noDouble check the console log for any messages. Also try:

Assigning of Classes to superior classes Using SXDA_Tools...Urgent

Hi All,
I have a requirement in which i have to create classes(Material classes, CL01) and subclasses for them. In the second step i will have to assign the created sub classes to their respective superior classes.
I could create classes using batch input program "RCCLBI01" and object type BUS1003 from transaction SDXA_TOOLS.
However i am not sure how to assign the created classes to their respective superior class. Does anyone know any direct input program or batch input programs to assign a class to its superior class ??

How to include a .class file in a jsp page

hi everyone,
i know the syntax as:
<%@ include file = "filename.class" %>
then at run time the server could not find the class file
if i use,
<%@ page import = "FileName.class" %>
then also the same problem persists
& if i use
<jsp:include page = "Relative address"/>
the problem still remains as it is...
please help me out...i am working on developing an EJB application in which client interacts with server's Stateful session bean through a jsp page...it is necessary for me to include the home interface class file in my jsp page.
P.S. do not suggest me to include the class file in a package & then use
<%@ page import = "packageName.ClassFileName" %>

Include Sub-Items option in User Default Books

Hi,
I have > 1000 users in my On Demand system and the Default Book parameter on a User is set to a Book say "Sales" instead of "Sales +"
I want to do a data Import to set this from "Sales" to "Sales +". I tried doing an Import using the data Loader and also a Web Service.
but Default Book is still set to "Sales".
The + sign will include the sub-books in the search and this is what I want. the + sign will be set only when the "Include Sub-Items" is checked while selecting a Book.
Is this something that can be done only manually? or is there a way to do it using an Import?
I tried doing this using an Import with Default Book = "Sales +" but the import failed. even when I export the user record the value is exported as "Sales"
Has anyone faced this before?

Ram, we can default GL a/c & cost centre in org structure since client wants to us to keep the option of entering these for every shopping cart.
Sreenivas, I checked the 'copy to clipboard' option & its not there in EBP2 and I feel what you meant as cost centre tab is account assignment tab.
Let me explain you more clearly about this requirement.
Current Scenario
1.Say a user has added 5 items to his SC.
2.User has to enter cost centre & GL code 5 times & then he can order
Required scenrio
1.Say a user has added 5 items to his SC.
2.As per the proposed functionality, user will click on 'Default settings for items' button. Three tabs will appear-->Basic data, Internal note & Delivery Address.
We have to provide a new tab here where in user will default his GL & cost centre for this shopping cart & then order. This will help user to avoid entering GL & cost centre 5 times.
For some reasons our client is not interested in defaulting this data.
Please help in this regard if time permits.

Problems calling java classe using WSIF in BPEL 10.1.3.3

I am working on a POC for a telecom gaint in Sweden. One of their requirement is to invoke java library.
Inorder to do it, I have followed the below steps:
1. Wrote a wrapper java code to a class in this library.(Attached with this mail)
2. Using JDEV 10.1.3.3 created a wsdl file of WSIF binding type for invoking this wrapper class.(Attached with this mail.)
3. Created the required fascade classes using the SCHEMAC option in command prompt.
4. Placed all the class files including the wrapper class file in %BPELHOME%\bpel\system\classes
5. Created a BPEL process to invoke the wsif wsdl.
However while Invoking the BPEL process I am getting the error"com.collaxa.cube.ws.wsif.providers.java.WSIFOperation_Java@9ecad : Could not invoke 'authenticate'; nested exception is:
     org.collaxa.thirdparty.apache.wsif.WSIFException: No method named 'authenticate' found that match the parts specified"
Can someone tell me how to resolve this issue.
I have to do a presentation on this in 2 days.

Do sub classes get their own copy of base class static members?

I am sub classing a certain classwhich has a static member boolean used for status updating. I have two sub classes, each needing its own static copy of the boolean. Do they get their own copy, or must I redeclare the member in each sub class?

Can we chagne Super class method parameters in Sub class

I created a super class. In that class i created a method. That method is having 4 input parameters and 4 export parameters.
I created a sub class for that super class. I need to use only 2 input parameters in this class rather than 4 parameters. I want to delete 2 Input parameters in the sub class of the super class method. Is it possible.
If possible. can we give an simple code or pseudo code?

Why are protected fields not-accessible from sub-classed inner class?

I ran across a situation at work where we have to sub-class an inner class from a third-party package. So, it looks something like this...

}Now the NewInner class needs to access protected variables in the Outer class, just like the Inner class does. But because NewOut/NewInner are in a different package I get the following error message.
Variable x in class SomePackage.Outer not accessible from inner class NewOuter. NewInner.You can still access those protected variables from the NewOuter class though. So, I can write accessor methods in NewOuter for NewInner to use, but I am wondering why this is. I know that if NewOuter/NewInner are in the same package as Outer/Inner then everything works fine, but does not when they are in different packages.
I have to use JDK1.1.8 for the project so I don't know if there would be a difference in JDK1.2+, but I would think that nothing has changed. Anyway, if you know why Java disallows access as I have detailed please let me know.

Although I don't have the 1.1.8 JDK installed on my system, I was able to compile the following code with the 1.3.1_01 JDK and run it within a Java 1.1.4 environment (the JVM in the MSIE 5.5 browser). Sub Class in applet

I have written an applet that does a mathematical operation on numbers then shows a diagram on the clicking of a button.
On the clicking of the button I removed the previous two panels and repainted the GUI with the diagram, created using a sub class/ The class header and constuctor is shown below for the sub class.
In netbeans, using applet viewer this works.
Yet for some reason when the applet code is used in a web page the main applet comes up fine and is operational but when clicking the diagram button nothing happens.
II would appreciate any help going?

MIGO: Searching batches via classes using search help MCH1 (incl. SH MCH1C)

Hello everyone,
I have a strange issue in MIGO on our Development server, and was wondering if anyone else had ever encountered similar problems.
In MIGO, when we choose "Goods issue", and "Other", we enter the material number, plant and storage location. After pressing ENTER, the "Batch" tab appears allowing us to enter the batch. Now, searching for the batch creates a problem, and here is the process:
1. Press F4 on the "Batch" field - this envokes the Search help procedure.
2. Enter the class and the class type on the next screen and press ENTER. A subscreen appears with the class characteristics.
3. Without filling out any of the characteristics, press "Find in initial class" button.
In the bottom part of the screen, the system creates a split to display the results in a form of ALV list, BUT no results are ever displayed.
Here is another piece of information which might be useful. The version of the DEV installation is ECC 6.0, and the patch level for Logistics and Accounting is SAPKH60009. The patch level of the corresponding IDES system is SAPKH60006, and in the IDES system we have no problems with this search through MIGO.
This tells me that there might be a problem caused by the upgrade - but that's not sure, and that's why I ask if anyone else had run into such an issue.
I am an ABAPer, so I approached this problem first by comparing the search helps of the two versions. The collective SHelp is MCH1, but searching batches via classes uses the elementary SHelp MCH1C. I found some differences in the elementary SHelps' function exits, these are included in the SAP note 1020405, and have no effect on the functionality. I even tried "downgrading", and using the search help from IDES, but still got no results. I decided that this was not causing the problem.
Can anybody suggest what might be the cause of the problem? Our MM people tell me there is no customizing for this process, and that it worked on IDES from the very beginning without any problems.

Xalan XML thru Web Start - how to include other classes

Hello developers,
I have an JAVA Swing application which needs an xml output, it creates an XML file which has to be stored in the clients hard drive. Though i have finished it, the application runs perfectly in the swing, if i deploy it using Java Webstart, the classes are not found,
The classes for xercers and xalan or not understood by webstart, how do i include these classes too. Could any1 throw some light on how to use other classes too in webstart applications.

Depends on the version of the JRE you are supporting. If you are using 1.4 you should be able to get it to work with the classes shipped with it.
If you really want to use the Xerces parser you will have to include the following in your .jnlp file.

<property name="javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory" value="org.apache.xerces.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl"/>
This forces the runtime to use Xerces instead of a locally available XML parser.
