Include Sub-Items option in User Default Books

Hi,
I have > 1000 users in my On Demand system and the Default Book parameter on a User is set to a Book say "Sales" instead of "Sales +"
I want to do a data Import to set this from "Sales" to "Sales +". I tried doing an Import using the data Loader and also a Web Service.
but Default Book is still set to "Sales".
The + sign will include the sub-books in the search and this is what I want. the + sign will be set only when the "Include Sub-Items" is checked while selecting a Book.
Is this something that can be done only manually? or is there a way to do it using an Import?
I tried doing this using an Import with Default Book = "Sales +" but the import failed. even when I export the user record the value is exported as "Sales"
Has anyone faced this before?

Thanks for your immediate response.
Ram, we can default GL a/c & cost centre in org structure since client wants to us to keep the option of entering these for every shopping cart.
Sreenivas, I checked the 'copy to clipboard' option & its not there in EBP2 and I feel what you meant as cost centre tab is account assignment tab.
Let me explain you more clearly about this requirement.
Current Scenario
1.Say a user has added 5 items to his SC.
2.User has to enter cost centre & GL code 5 times & then he can order
Required scenrio
1.Say a user has added 5 items to his SC.
2.As per the proposed functionality, user will click on 'Default settings for items' button. Three tabs will appear-->Basic data, Internal note & Delivery Address.
We have to provide a new tab here where in user will default his GL & cost centre for this shopping cart & then order. This will help user to avoid entering GL & cost centre 5 times.
For some reasons our client is not interested in defaulting this data.
Please help in this regard if time permits.

    I figured it out, it was just a matter of setting "alias -tx xlock -allowaccess xlock" in the .profile

    In SAP B1 i think there is no default functionality  for copy to in user defined form. As Parminder said you can use the control button combo and write your own method for populating  data.

I know that's possible to edit userContent.css or userChrome.css, but this concerns only a profile at a time and being in a domain, I would like to set this for all people using Firefox.
    Can it be possible to edit a mozilla.cfg file to get the same result?

    AFAIK then there is no way to do that system wide. You can only do that via userChrome.css or an extension like the Menu Editor per profile .You can install extensions globally, but the user will have to enable them anyway. That is not required for userChrome.css code.

  • Startup items options not found under user name

    I'm sure this has been covered before, but I couldn't find an exact match.
    Under the accounts setup-one of the profiles does not have "Login Items" as an option, only has Password, Picture, and Parental Controls. I have full access as administrator to all accounts. How do I get the Login Items Options to show up?
    On a larger issue, the reason I would like to access the user account login items is to turn on DirectfonfigX for that login, the particular login will not work with a DVI connection. (Display may be set to VGA, I don't recall the exact reason why it does not work with the same DVI connection as normal login user. they are basically the same user profiles, but I can access some software under one user that the other user will not recognize that I have registered my software, or profile settings. But perhaps that is an even larger issue.)

    Just ran a test here--Login Items are only available for the currently logged in account (owner of the keyboard/mouse/display). You'll have to log in as each of those users and set the login items appropriately. Seems that an admin should be able to set these but not so.

    How can I make default personalization options for users, so that those will the default options when the user opens the portal BSP applications. Those will be the standard, at later point of time if they want they can personlalize some other fields, but earlier fields will be the default fields and user cant be able to change them.

    Hi Murthy,
    If you use IMG (crmc_blueprint_c) to customize PCUI appl than you can use the personalization feature. If you select 'Not in List' in the IMG for the field in the fieldgroup structure, than this field by default will not be viewable in the List View and will not be checked as 'Visible' in the Personilzation link. So by not selecting 'Not in List' you are giving that field to be viewable and all other fields are available for users to personalize by default.
    If you have maintained the 'List View' using the CRM Designer, than most likely you would lose the above feature, as SAP Standard code considers the CRM Designer as high level of customization.

    The iMac I use at the university where I work connects to Active Directory for authentication - there are no local user logins (apart from the admin account of course).
    I'd like to know how to set the default items for all user logins. Specifically, I'd like the system to automatically create an alias on the desktop to a shared folder for every new user login, or automatically open that folder in Finder when logged in.
    Though I'm the main user, if I'm not around other people may require access to the stuff I do for the multitude of projects I work on for a department of 30 people, and as everyone else uses a PC and only a few are Mac savvy, I'd like to make it as easy as possible for the poor dears to find the files. (We have a shared network drive where I can put some stuff but unfortunately our allocation is not very big!)

    In SD sales order (VA01) I create line item 10 with sub item 11 such as:
    10     89464988     1 M
    11     99912001     1 PC     10
    If I change the quantity of main item from 1 to e.g. 2 so the quantity of sub item will also be changed to 2.
    Now, Iu2019m looking for a possibility to hold the quantity of sub item to 1.
    In SAPMV45A I cannot find an appropriated user-exit for that.
    How can I set the quantity to 1 in sub item? What exit can be used for that?

    Hello Kurt,
    in that case you could also try the USEREXIT_CHECK_VBEP. In XVEBP you get the number of the position, that you can read in table xvbap.
    Just but an breakpoint inside the exits and try, which is the best for your case.
    In general, in these old SAPMV45A-Exits you have access to all internal areas and tables that are defined in the program (XBAP, XBEP and so on). That makes it so easy to change - but also so dangerous.

    I have a requirement, where by we need to disable the qty field vbap-kwmeng for input for sub items of the BOM.
    I am planning to use the user exit USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION...in the include MV45AFZZ for sales orders.
    But i need to disable the input only after the BOM Explosion and item category determination in the sales order.
    Can i Use the same exit ?? what additional conditions i need to take into account.
    also we need to disable the delivery quantity field also for the sub items of this sales bom.
    I see that this User exit is not available in delivery procesing.  How to acheive the required functionality in the delivery processing...
    your advice is much appreciated in this matter.

    3.Shipping condition from CMR
    4.Transportation Group from MMR
    5.Weight Group which is optional.

    We are on GRC SP13.
    I have configured User Defaults.
    My Decision table has Request Type and User Default ID entries and User defaults are correctly getting updated in the target system based on the connector tagged to User Default ID.
    My scenario:
    New Account Request Type - User selected ECC role and it has mapped BW roles.
    Now User defaults work only for ECC and not BW
    Hence I have tried changing my BRF+ decision table with Connector and Role Connector both, when i include any of these User defaults itself not working.
    Anyone faced the same issue?
    If I have Connector or Role connector in BRF+ decision table, User Defaults don't work
    Already applied SAP note 2020712 - UAM: User group not provisioned after approval

    Could you please check and confirm if you have user defaults action from the request type..?
    As highlighted in the note "you are using "System" as one of the fields in setting the conditions for User Defaults, then try using the option for Implementing a LOOP in your BRF Rule. This might be needed since "System" field is not available under Request Header attributes, rather it is available as Role Attributes which are called as line-item fields while calling the BRF Rule. So, in such cases LOOP is a suggested solution, rather than using the Decision Table directly. Though within the LOOP, you can still call the Decision Table or implement IF/ELSE conditions."
    Better paste some of the snap shots from your BRF+ configurations.
    If you are sure enough that your config is on right track then raising this concern with SAP might be an option.

    I have a requirement to copy down the ship-to partner from the main item to sub-items during sales order create or change.  Currently I have code in include MV45AFZB within user exit USEREXIT_FILL_VBAP_FROM_HVBAP as follows:

    This isn't working for me.  At one point, I was able to copy the ship-to down to the first sub-item but not any subsequent ones.  I'm sure I need to add some code to another sales order user exit to get this to work, but I'm at a loss at this point.   Has anyone had to do this or something similar before?

    Can you check few more things and tell me?
    - In this exit, does XVBPA and XVBAP contains all the line items. ( main and sub items ).
    - In Sales order creation time, do these table have VBELN populated when this exit triggers.
    - If you modify XVBPA or XVBAP in this exit, do they get overwritten after that.
    Try this code. See if it works.  Let me know if you still have a problem.

    i think the field name is MABNR not MATNR for material number

    ONLY when Google Sync is activated from Address Book, you will see a file created in ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.google.GoogleContactSyncAgent.plist which contains the sync schedule, which by default is 3600seconds (an hour).
    The user can change the sync schedule by editing that file using TextEdit.

    I've noticed that my 2000 contacts where duplicated at least 3 times which then I had 5800 contacts about.
    Is there any way to stop that ?

  • Sub item has to come automatically

    We have a new requirement from our client . When the FG is shipped to  customers, they have to use one label while when they ship to US customers it has to be a different label.
    here the lable is the material..FERT material....
    so when the User enter the main FG material....system should pickup the label material automatically based on the ship to party country...
    for eg...if It is US ship to party, it has to pickup "Mat1" or other than US..it would be "Mat2"....
    but both material should be in the sales order...
    Any idea???

                  This can be solved using free goods configuration.
    1, In free goods configuration, go fieldcatalog maintanence. Add country field.
    2. Create new condtion table copy from standard condition table 010.
    3. Remove customer and add country to that table.
    4. Create new access sequence and assign this new condition table.
    5. Create new proceedure and assign this access sequence.
    6. Assign this proceedure to your sales org.
    Now goto VBN1 enter the country and sales org and give the material and sub item material in exclusive options.
    Same way you give for other coutry.
    Now create sales order. You will get output.
