Session ID Check when reload

I seek for a code that when the user reload the page to check if the user which the server communicate with is the same user or not to assign him some actions like visitor number or to check if the user vote in my voting before or not.

how would you know? the page would have whatever session is associated with the previous request/response. if the user reloads, the server will get that session ID. If it's still valid, it's valid... if not, a new session is created. There's no way to know that someone else physically reloaded the page.

This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked (check the permissions on the about:permissions page).
Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.

You get an alert about resending POST data if you go back to a page or refresh a page that was previously requested from the server by submitting form data via a (hidden) POST form.<br />
Firefox can only make sure to get the same page by resending that POST form.<br />
Firefox doesn't know what that form data means, so Firefox asks for confirmation before resending that form data as such an action can cause you to repeat an action and buy another item or post a message another time.<br />
A way to prevent this pop-up about resending POST data is not to use the Back button, but to open links on a page requested from a server by sending a form with POST date in a new tab (window) with a middle-click or a Ctrl + left-click.

Pam.conf does not use ldap for password length check when changing passwd

Whereas /etc/default/passwd on the ldap client says passwords must be 8 characters. This is seen with the pam_authtok_check: minimum length from /etc/default/passwd: 8
. It is clearly not using the policy from the directory server but checking locally. So I can login ok using the ldap server for authentication but when I try to change the password it does not use the policy from the server which says I only need a minimum lenght of 6 characters.
I have read that pam_ldap is only supported for directory server 5.2. Because I am running ds6 and with password compatability in ds6 mode maybe this is my problem. Does anyone know of any updated pam_ldap modules for solaris 9?

you can try passwd -r ldap for changing the ldap passwds...

ColdFusion 11 Throws Error Session Variable Undefined, When in fact it is Defined as shown by CFDump.

I've been having a particularly annoying error with ColdFusion 11, and unable to track down the source of this problem.
Basically There are a few variables defined in the session scope we check with isdefined a few lines above to make sure they are defined. Subsequent lines may or may not throw a #variablename# is undefined on random lines.
What can I do to fix this issue? Is this a known bug?

I am doing isDefined checks for relevant variables when neccessary. The problem is not that the code errors out undefined ... it's that the variable is actually defined and errors out undefined.
As a simplified example;
Login.cfm Form supplies form.username and form.password to login_action.cfm then redirects to index.cfm after succesful LDAP authentication. I will not include all lines as it would be too long.

in the wwwroot the Application.cfm handles all errors generated during rendering of the page, which includes generating a cfdump of the session scope.
When I get the Error Log I can see in the cfcatch cfdump the error... Element USER.EMAIL UnDefined in SESSION.

What is causing this strange and irratic behaviour? The problem is so far I cannot replicate the issue. It is intermittant. The issue only started after upgrading to ColdFusion 11. This code has worked flawlessly for years on CF8.

Avconvert: failed to create an Export Session. Check setup.

I get the message "avconvert: failed to create an Export Session. Check setup" when i try to convert an mpeg video to mp4. Any solutions?

here we are 4 months (give or take) and 10.7.1 did not provde a fix. My

While using firefox I am using, private browsing and not remembering any passwords.
When I login to Gmail, the login page shows option to type in my gmail id and then password, and at the bottom, it gives the option of checkbox to remember the password next time. NOW, the problem is that, THIS CHECK box is always TICKED (Checked). I don't want it to be checked at all.

Hi Imran_Afzal, if you know that setting the cookie has no effect after you close your private browsing session, is it really worth finding a hack to clear the checkbox?
I believe in order to do that you would need to use an extension or userscript. However, I haven't searched for one.

UC540 crashes when reloaded

Running into the following problem UC540 crashes when reload command is issued the following message appears: Unexpected exception to CPU: vector 400, PC = 0x0
Tried the following steps:

formatted flash card erased nvram rebuild the uc540 with cca 3.2 used pack 8.6.1
inserted new flash card installed ios uc500-advipservicesk9-mz.151-4.M5
Nothing seems to fix the problems is there anything else i can try?

Session is killed when I go to a new app, HELP!!

I use Tomcat and there I have 1 login App. But there are more webapps in the webapps dir of tomcat. I want to create a session in the login web app and then go to another web app and then check the login and pasword that I entered in the session. But when I go to another web app the Session is empty.
How can I solve this problem? Should I use sessions or maybe something else?

If what you want to share among several webapps on the same server is just the login, you just have to configure the single sign on option (see http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.1-doc/config/host.html#Single%20Sign%20On).
If you want to share more data (some kind of "server session" attributes and not only "webapp session" attribute), I think you have to manage it yourself (using a java.util.Hashtable and the javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionListener for example).

all i have to do is:
i have to create a zip file, and we should secure it with password when creating. and whenever the user wants to open that zip file he should provide correct passowrd otherwise he could not read that file. So, we should check for that also.

Urgent: Gif animation shows only the last frame when reloaded

I use ImageIcon to show gif animations on screen. I want to use only non-looping gif animation files.
Always when I show a gif animation for the first time it runs correctly through all the frames.
However when reloading later the same gif animation only the last frame appears. I want to see all the frames of the animation, not only the last frame.
So for the first showing of the animation this works well:
     icon = new ImageIcon("first_animation.gif");
       label = new JLabel();
       label.setIcon(icon);Then I show another animation and also it works well:
       icon2 = new ImageIcon("second_animation.gif");
       label.setIcon(icon2);Now I would like to show the first animation again but only the last frame of that first animation appears on screen:

How can I reload the first animation again so that it shows all the frames not only the last frame???

Avconvert: failed to create Export Session. Check setup

I'm trying to convert an mpeg file so its readable on my macbook pro, I have OS 10.7.5. I right click the file and select Encode selected video file. For setting I click 1080p. The next window pops up:
acconvert: failed to create an Export Session. Check setup.
What now???

I also have this very same problem. I ctrl click on my selected video file (avi) and select from the menu "encode selected video files". after I click continue from the "encode media" panel I recieve the same error as above, "failed to create an export session".
I too am not sure what to do next.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sequence of check when saving customer/vendor

For customers, I am aware that there are 3 possibilities to check the contents of the entered data before the customer is really saved:
- Settings of field status group
- Message control
- User exit
Can anyone advise me in which order these settings are checked when saving a customer?

No, you can't. BP will always be created first and then a corresponding supplier/customer will be created depending on CVI configurations.
