I want to set the parameter WDTABLENAVIGATION to SCROLLBAR. I cant find it under Application properties.
Thanks

Florian,
Please see [this document|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/7b/fb57412df8091de10000000a155106/frameset.htm] and [this thread|Re: Scrolling in tables using Mouse scroll button;. I'm not sure whether WDTABLENAVIGATION application parameter is available in Web Dynpro Java but it is available in Web Dynpro ABAP for sure.
Hope this helps.

  • How to set application parameter in web dynpro abap?

    Hi experts,
                    Is there any way we can set up our own application parameter (for ex. mode ) of our application. And based on that parameter we can visible/invisible certain elements of view .  so by having only one webdypro application component, and making multiple applications and assigning paramter to each , we can make our application userfriendly.
    Thanks,
    Saurin Shah.

    Hi Saurin,
    For this you will have to use the concept of Component and Application Configuration in WebDynpro. Go through [this tutorial|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b52e13c3-0901-0010-8fa6-d11a51821b7c] to get an idea of how you can go ahead to meet your requirements.

  • Programatically setting column values for table

    hi...
    I am programatically setting column values for table.
    But these values are not getting reflected on table after commit.
    I mean to say,new values are not persisted after commit.
    The code is as follows,It is in Application Module class
    public void createRecord()
    OAViewObject vo = (OAViewObject)this.getOpptyLoeVO1();
    if (!vo.isPreparedForExecution())
    vo.executeQuery();
    Row row = vo.createRow();
    row.setAttribute("Id",new Number(850));
    row.setAttribute("Model","Honda");
    row.setAttribute("Role","Team Lead");
    row.setAttribute("Hours",new Number(35));
    vo.insertRow(row);
    row.setNewRowState(Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED);
    getTransaction().commit();
    Here "Id,Model,Role,Hours" are columns in table .

    Hi,
    is your VO based on an Entity Object?
    If not, you can't update values in the DB using only a View Object!
    If yes, you should control that, in your VO, you have not selected the flag "Read Only" for the EO you want to update.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Set xml element for table

    Hi guys,
    I am new to indesign scripting using applescript.
    my code is shown in below, my problem is can't set xml element for table
    tell application "Adobe InDesign CS6"
            tell active document
                set rootele to associated XML element of story 1
                if rootele = nothing then
                    set rootele to XML element 1
                end if
                tell story 1
                    select text 1
                    set markup tag of selection to "table" -----------------> this is my problem please help me.
                              end tell
            end tell
        end tell
    this code is right or not. please help me.

    The metadata about the table mappings are also stored in the compiled XML Schema document. If you lookup the schema document located at /sys/schemas/.... , you will see that the element with SQLInline=false will have a xdb:defaultTable attribute which provides the name of the table used to store the element.

  • How to set the font for table view contol

    Dear All,
    My requirement is to set Font type = Arial and size=1 for
    Table View control. The same font should be for  header, Rows and footer.
    One way we are achieving it through the Renderer class. Where in we are we are supplying data, colums with html font tags.
    Is there any simple way to fix font fot the entire TableView.
    Thanks
    Markandeya

    An approach I've used is to override the CSS styles by adding code like the following to the top of the JSP page.  It's a bit of a hack, but it did the job.  You will need to find ALL the styles used in a table view, and override the font size.
    <%-- OVERRIDE SOME CSS STYLES SO WE HAVE THE DESIRED TABLE CELL PADDING --%>
    <style>
    <!--
    .sapTbvCellStd {
         PADDING-RIGHT: 2px; PADDING-LEFT: 2px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px
    .sapTbvCellAlt {
         PADDING-RIGHT: 2px; PADDING-LEFT: 2px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px
    //-->
    </style>

    Thanks and Regards

    Hi,
    for changing - did you try the "Content Maintenance" on SLD Homepage? It is Subset: Landscape Description and I guess Class "BC Application Server"
    For adding a second application server - go to the technical system, scroll down and press "Add" secondary application server.
    Good luck, Holger

  • How to set runtime parameter for the entire system

    Hi,
    I have a problem with setting runtime parameters in jre v1.6.0_07. I have an XP computer with multiple users and to use the application eavery user must set the runtime parameter once by going to java control panel -> Java -> Java applet runtime settings -> view. How can i automate this? I have multiple users and there may be more users logging in so manually sending the C:\<userProfileDirectory>\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\deployment.properties file to all profiles is not a solution. Same question here but no solution. Every user must get this parameter when they log in, they may be new users or existing users. The software I'm trying to use is browser based, we don't trigger an exe or something from local to run the software.
    In C:\<userProfileDirectory>\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\deployment.properties file there is a line like this;
    deployment.javapi.jre.1.6.0_07.args=
    This works for a single user. I've read the instructions in [deployment guide|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/deployment/deployment-guide/properties.html] but the properties file we put in C:\WINDOWS\Sun\Java\Deployment does not support ".args=" command. Anyone encountered or have a solution for this problem?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    got solution for this problem? I am also having the same problem.

  • Error while reading UcdContext [trying to read / set application values for users]

    Hi,
    I am trying to write a program to store user selected values on NW7.3 Portal using "User Content Directory". I can see and read some code snippets on how to set and read the context but I am getting one error after another.
    The error message I am getting is
    "com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.PcdGlContext:service:[email protected]entClassLoader@84507ed@alive incompatible with interface com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.IPcdContext:sap.com/[email protected]der@f46d103@alive ". Code snippet is as given below at the end of the message.
    1) I tried different ways to have a lookup and always gave message as "look up not found" and for pcd:portal_content came up with above error.
    2) Once I read the UCD context, I would like to store some values based on user selection and store them. User may change the values whenever they like and I will be using the values for other purposes in another application.
    3) Has any one successful in setting and reading UCD Context in NW 7.3. Will it be possible to share such sample code as the code snippets at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73ehp1/helpdata/en/4a/8e1bce28e24dd8abd9f4de05e5587d/content.htm are not much of use unless I am able to read the UCD.
    Thanks for your help!
    Regards,
    Raju
    TestingUCD is my test application and the following is code snippet
    InitialContext initialContext = null;
    IPcdContext pcdCtx;
    Hashtable env = new Hashtable();
    env.put(UCD_INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, UCD_INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY);
    env.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, request.getUser());
    env.put(Constants.REQUESTED_ASPECT, IPcdAttribute.PERSISTENCY_ASPECT);
    try{
    initialContext = new InitialContext(env);
    //response.write("Before pcdCtx lookup");
    try {
    pcdCtx = (com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.PcdGlContext) initialContext.lookup("pcd:portal_content");
    } catch(Exception e){
    response.write("Some problem with lookup" + e.getMessage());

    Hi,
    There are quite few differences in the standard code snippet given by SAP Help on UCD and the once that you put above in the question.
    Below is standard snippet.
    Hashtable<Object, Object> env = new Hashtable<Object, Object>();
    env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,
    IPcdContext.UCD_INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY);
    env.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, user);
    InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext(env);
    pcdCtx =  (IPcdContext) ctx.lookup("");
    ============================
    Check the ones highlighted in BOLD and compare them in your code. In your code when ur doing initial lookup you are not using the Correct class type cast for the returned lookup object!
    Your code shows as below:
    pcdCtx = (com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.PcdGlContext) initialContext.lookup("pcd:portal_content");
    But may be it shd have been something like below:
    pcdCtx = (IPcdContext) initialContext.lookup("pcd:portal_content");
    Pls verify and hopefully this resolves your issues around look up.
    Thanks,
    Swapna Priya.

    Can anyone help me on this.
    Thanks,

    Hi Experts,
    I solved it myself.
    The problem was, I have to make the input parameter as exposed. Thats all
    Anyway, thanks for the support.

  • Setting userid parameter for srw.run_report

    Hi,
    I'm using the srw package to run a report from a pl/sql procedure. All the documentation I can find regarding the SRW package says to set the userid parameter to 'userid/password@database' e.g.
    srw.add_parameter(lv_srw_plist,'USERID','userid/password@database')
    However I'm very reluctant to hard code this information in a pl/sql procedure. Is there not any way for the srw package to inherit the userid/password from the user under which the pl/sql procedure is running? Or some other alternative to hard coding this.
    Thanks,
    Toby.

    I'm not using Oracle Forms but it's interesting that you say that Forms can pass the logon details internally. Shame that Oracle won't do that from a database procedure as well. So far the only option I can find is to store the userid and password in a key on the cgicmd.dat file which still means hardcoding the logon details.

  • How to set command timeout for table object?

    I have a report that is generating an error during rendering in a CrystalReportViewer control (v10.5).  The error is "Failed to open a rowset." which appears to be caused by a timeout.  I'm currenlty setting the connection info and location of the sproc programmatically.  How can I set the command timeout as well?  Can I set this via the Attributes collection of the ConnectionInfo object?  (This appears to be a command timeout, not a connection timeout, which I'm already including in the Attributes collection of the ConnectionInfo object and setting at 15 seconds.  I've tried making this as much as 60 seconds but it doesn't change the behavior.)

    The error message includes text that states the timeout was exceeded (in bold below)...

    1)  Is there a Service Pack for CR 10.5???  That is the runtime that is in use - not XI.
    2)  The report viewer app is in version 10.5 (as mentioned in the first post) but the report was created in the designer for version 11.  Before we assume that is a problem - I have other reports created this way that work fine.
    3)  The data source is SQL 2005.
    4)  The connection type is OLE DB - Microsoft OLE DB provider for SQL Server.
    I think the issue is due to corruption in the report file.  I've seen this many times with reports (over the last 10 years).  I've had reports that refuse to work but if I recreate them from scratch the new report works fine.  In fact, I've recreated the data portion of this report (using the same sprocs) and that one works.
