Set Data from a Dynamic Context in ALV

Hi,
I've created an dynamic context and have binded the data. When I want to show this data in an dynamicly table with the following code, it works well.
cl_wd_dynamic_tool=>create_table_from_node( EXPORTING ui_parent      = lo_container
                                                          table_id       = 'DYN_ML_TABLE'
                                                          node           = lo_nd_dyn_ml
                                                RECEIVING table          = lo_table ).
Unfortunately when I want to show the context data in an ALV table with the method set_data I will see the structure, but the binded data are lost.
lo_comp_alv = wd_this->wd_cpuse_usage_alv_dyn_ml( ).
  IF lo_comp_alv->has_active_component( ) IS INITIAL.
    lo_comp_alv->create_component( ).
  ENDIF.
  lo_comp_if_alv = wd_this->wd_cpifc_usage_alv_dyn_ml( ).
  lo_comp_if_alv->set_data( lo_nd_dyn_ml ).
I've tested an manually created context node with this method, and I will see the data.
Could anybody help me?
Best Regards,
Sascha

I created the node with rtti. Now, it works:

  • Looking for a solution or service to export data from a dynamic form into a database

    As the title of this discussion states, I'm looking for a solution or service to export data from a dynamic form into a database to be used for reporting. Creating the dynamic form is not a problem, it's getting it into a database that's more of a nuisance. A dynamic form is needed in order to provide skip logic, hide/reveal, and other similar dynamic features.
    The database hasn't been created, so just looking for the easiest, more effective and dependable solution. The key is being able to run reports off the data later.

    So i set up 2 residential grade routers to test this out. Seems to be working okayish. I believe with directional antenae routers I should achieve what I need.
    As for security I configured each device separately. I set them so only allow the MAC address of the other through wireless. This seems to be the best system for me. Once they are connected even if a MAC is spoofed of the other router it drops automatically because they are always connected. My wired devices get plugged in and recieve an IP from my main network.
    There more testing to be done, but it seems to be working.
    Thanks for your input and suggestions guys. I will be marking this topic as answered.

  • Retrieve data from a dynamic page via loadURL

    Hello.
    I would like to ask you how it is possible to retrieve data
    from a dynamic page (asp classic in my case) using the loadURL
    method.
    I would like to create an html authentication form (with
    username and password fields). The loadURL method should call an
    asp page and then pass to the usual function 'DoIfSucceded' the
    results of the elaboration.
    Of course I'm going to have a switch in the function in order
    to make different actions depending from the results of the asp
    page (authentication succeded or failed).
    I had a look to the examples at this page:
    Adobe
    samples
    Is there anyone who can explain clearly how the results data
    must be written by the asp page and how the success function can
    retrieve them ?
    I thank you in advance for your help.

    loadURL() uses the the XMLHttpRequest Object so if the
    content you return is XML, you have 2 choices for accessing your
    data. You can either access it as a text string via the
    XMLHttpRequest object's responseText property, or as a DOM document
    via the XMLHttpRequest object's responseXML property:
    function MySuccessCallback(req)
    // If my data is XML, I can access the data that was sent
    from the server
    // as DOM elements via the XMLHttpRequest's responseXML
    property.
    var xmlDOM = req.xhRequest.responseXML;
    // OR, you can access the data sent back from the server as
    text via
    // the XMLHttpRequest object's responseText property.
    var xmlAsAString = req.xhRequest.responseText;
    var req = Spry.Utils.loadURL("GET",
    "/app/book.php?id=1&code=54321", true, MySuccessCallback);
    If your serverside script wants to use some other format as a
    response like JSON or plain text, then you can only access the data
    as text via the responseText property.

  • How to transfer data from a dynamic internal table

    Hi All
    I want to transfer data from a dynamic internal table<dyn_table>
    to a non dynamic internal table itab which should have the same structure as <dyn_table>.
    How can this be done?
    Regards,
    Harshit Rungta

    As stated earlier this can be done only through field symbols...
    You cannot create an non dynamic internal table with ANY structure...using DATA statement
    If the strucutre is defined well and good...you can create an non-dynamic internal table...
    If you do not know the structure then the internal table has to be dynamic...and to be generated using field symbols
    DATA: lv_ref TYPE REF TO data.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs_dyn_table> TYPE STANDARD TABLE.
    * You create a dynamic internal table...
    CREATE DATA lv_ref LIKE (your_dynamic_internal_table).
    ASSIGN lv_ref->* TO <fs_dyn_table>.
    Now...do the transfer.
    <fs_dyn_table> = "your_dynamic_internal_Table
    Hope it helps!

  • Can we get the data from two internal tables in ALV.

    hi friends i would like to display the data using two internal tables using alv grid.please guide me.

    Hi,
    ALV would be having a specific layout say :
    MATNR
    MAKTX
    QTY
    Now, if you have two internal tables, then do they have a different structure. If they have different structures, then what kind of ALV layout you expect. The ALV output should be as per the structure of 1st or 2nd internal table.
    If both internal table have same layout, then populate the data from 2nd internal table into 1st internal table and pass the 1st internal table ( it will have data of both internal tables) to ALV.

  • Collect data from a dynamic XML file into multiple internal tables

    I need to convert the XML file into multiple internal tables. I tried many links and posts in SDN but still was facing difficulty in achieving this. Can some one tell me where I am going wrong.
    My XML file is of the following type.It is very complex and the dynamice.
    The following tags occur more than once in the XML file. The "I" and "L" tags and its child tags can occur ones or more than once for each XML file and it is not constant. i.e in one file they can occur 1 time and in another they can occur 100 times.
    "I" and "L" are child tags of <C>
    <I>
           <J>10</J>
             <K>EN</K>
      </I>
    <L>
             <J>20</J>
              <N>BB</N>
      </L>
    Tags <C> and <F> occur only ones for each XML file. <C> is the child tag of "A" and "F" is the child tag of <C>.

    Hi Rammohan,
    Thanks for the effort!
    But I don't need to use GUI upload because my functionality does not require to fetch data from presentation server.
    Moreover, the split command advised by you contains separate fields...f1, f2, f3... and I cannot use it because I have 164 fields.  I will have to split into 164 fields and assign the values back to 164 fields in the work area/header line.
    Moreover I have about 10 such work areas.  so the effort would be ten times the above effort! I want to avoid this! Please help!
    I would be very grateful if you could provide an alternative solution.
    Thanks once again,
    Best Regards,

  • Extracting similar data from a dynamic set of tables

    I want to select common fields from an arbitrary set of tables, adding an extra field that is the table name, and return all of these rows in a single table. I know the steps but I am getting bogged down in the details (being new to Oracle):
    --Create a temporary table.
    --Generate a dynamic SQL statement to grab the data for each table of interest.
    --Execute that query and store the results in the temporary table.
    --Output the entire temporary table and delete it.
    Here is my latest attempt:
    ================
    Create global temporary table myTempTable
         Title varchar2(30),
         IdType number(8),
         Count number(8)
    ) on commit delete rows;
    declare
    sql_stmt VARCHAR2(200);
    tname VARCHAR2(30);
    begin
    for tname in (
    select distinct table_name from sys.ALL_TAB_COLS
              where owner='me' and table_name like '%ASSIGNS'
    loop
    sql_stmt :=
    'insert into myTempTable(Title, IdType, Count) ' ||
         'select '':1'', IdType, count(*) from me.:1 group by IdType';
    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt USING tname;
    end loop;
    select * from myTempTable;
    commit; -- to delete the temp table
    end;

    The error messages are:

  • Returning a result set/record from a dynamic query

    There seems to be plenty of examples for using Native Dynamic Sql to formulate and execute a dynamic query, however there are no examples of returning a result set or records which contain the rows of data that are retrieved by executing the query. Could someone give us an example?

    myCMD.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure
    myCMD.Parameters.Add(New OracleParameter("io_cursor", OracleType.Cursor)).Direction = ParameterDirection.Output
    myCMD.Parameters.Add("n_Empno", OracleType.Number, 4).Value = 123
    Dim myReader As OracleDataReader
    Try
    myCMD.ExecuteNonQuery()
    Catch myex As Exception
    MsgBox(myex.Message)
    End Try
    myReader = myCMD.Parameters("io_cursor").Value
    Dim x, count As Integer
    count = 0
    Do While myReader.Read()
    For x = 0 To myReader.FieldCount - 1
    Console.Write(myReader(x) & " ")
    Next
    Console.WriteLine()
    count += 1
    Loop
    MsgBox(count & " Rows Returned.")
    myReader.Close()
    Oraclecon.Close()
    The above code is working in one of our application; which is using ref cursor as result set and get from procedure. I hope you can found more code by google and/or search in this forum as well; if above code is not useful to you.

  • Capturing data from a dynamic table that span multiple pages

    I created a PDF form that contained a dynamic table that can span across multiple pages. Additional rows in the table can be created by the person filling the form as and when needed.
    The PDF form is distributed to the receipient using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
    However, when the form is "Submitted" back to the originator of the form, only data in the first row of the table is captured in the Response file. All the other rows are left out.
    I would be grateful if anyone can advise me as to how do I or what shall I do to get all the data in all the rows in the table into the Response File?
    Thank you.

    Hi
    Attached are the saved completed PDF-Form and the response file after the completed form has been submitted. I have copied this message to your gMail account.
    Only data in the first row of the table is captured in the Response file.

    When I'm trying to give the key clause in the paranthesis it's giving a syntax error.
    Any clues ?

    TYPES: BEGIN OF line,
             col1 TYPE c,
             col2 TYPE c,
           END OF line.
    DATA: wa TYPE line,
          itab TYPE HASHED TABLE OF line WITH UNIQUE KEY col1,
          key(4) TYPE c VALUE 'COL1'.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS <fs> TYPE ANY TABLE.
    ASSIGN itab TO <fs>.
    READ TABLE <fs> WITH TABLE KEY (key) = 'X' INTO wa.
    The internal table itab is assigned to the generic field symbol <fs>, after which it is possible to address the table key of the field symbol dynamically. However, the static address
    READ TABLE <fs> WITH TABLE KEY col1 = 'X' INTO wa.
    is not possible syntactically, since the field symbol does not adopt the key of table itab until runtime. In the program, the type specification ANY TABLE only indicates that <fs> is a table. If the type had been ANY (or no type had been specified at all), even the specific internal table statement READ TABLE <fs>  would not have been possible from a syntax point of view.

  • Problem while populating data from database dynamically.

    I am having two combo box
    First one displays list of table Names
    Second one displays list of the corresponding field Names.
    Now when the user selects the table name the corresponding field names appear in the second combo box & now when the user selects the field name then the requirement is to get the data of the corressponding field of the table on the screen on the button click.
    I want to do this thing dynamically through coding.
    My requirement is only the data of those columns that have been queried should appear on the screen whereas other column data should not appear.
    Can any body help me out.

    I'm not sure if you want to populate the combobox dynamically based on any selected data source.
    If so it is kind of tricky, but do-able. You need to write little bit of coding yourself.
    First you need to get the Database metadata. For details see
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/sql/DatabaseMetaData.html
    where you can get the table names.
    Then using the result set metadata of the selected table you can get the column information. For details see
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/sql/ResultSetMetaData.html
    If you want to display the data of selected table and column value (statically filled combo box), then it is easy.
    you can create your own SQL statement based on the selected tabe and column and set it to the rowset dynamically in the code (may be in the method beforerenderresponse).

  • Which adapter to use to download data from site dynamically except file typ

    hi,
    I am to download data dynamically from a secure website to PI server without using file/FTP adapter and send it to any folder using PI.
    (At receiver end i will use file adapter , Please suggest for sender side)
    I will give user name and password to that site through PI.
    Which adapter I should use at sender side?
    At the same time I am to call an predefined RFC to trigger a Function module in SAP system.
    How to do that?
    Please help me out.

  • Fill dynamic internal table with data from another dynamic table

    Hi,
    I have a huge dynamic table with a few columns and need to fill another dynamic table with some of the columns, that are also existing in the other one. I first know at runtime, which fields the smaller table contains.
    Until now, I did it that way:
      LOOP AT <it_tab_structure> ASSIGNING <wa_tab_structure>.
        LOOP AT lt_comp_full INTO ls_comp_full.
          ASSIGN COMPONENT ls_comp_full-name OF STRUCTURE <structure> TO <column>.
          ASSIGN COMPONENT ls_comp_full-name OF STRUCTURE <wa_tab_structure> TO <value>.
          <column> = <value>.
        ENDLOOP.
        APPEND <structure> TO <table>.
      ENDLOOP.
    lt_comp_full contains the columns of the second table, that have to be filled.
    This is taking a very long time, as there can be a lot of columns in the source table and the source table contains at least 100000 records.
    Is there therefore any way to fill the other table faster?
    Thank you & best regards,
    Michael

    Hey Sharath,
    thank you for your answer! Unfortunately I don't have a 7.4 system here, but your example pointed out, that I can also use move-corresponding from one structure to the other, which I thought, was not possible. I'm trying out, if this makes it faster now.
    I'll let you all know, if this made the deal.
    Thank you & best regards,
    Michael & Arne

  • Logic for retreiving the values from a dynamic internal table

    Hi all,
    I have an issue with the logic to fetch data from a dynamic internal table into fields. let me give you guys an example the sy-tfill = 9 (subject to vary). I need to populate the fields.

    Hi,
    this is for printing out the info in a dynamic table,
    it will work likewise to insert data.
    PARAMETERS:
      p_tabnam TYPE tabname DEFAULT 'DB_TABLE_NAME'.
    DATA:
      lv_dref TYPE REF TO data,
      ls_dd03l LIKE dd03l,
      lt_fieldname TYPE TABLE OF fieldname,
      ls_fieldname TYPE fieldname.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS:
      <fs> TYPE STANDARD TABLE,
      <wa_comp> TYPE fieldname,
      <wa_data> TYPE ANY,
      <wa_field> TYPE ANY.
    REFRESH lt_fieldname.
    SELECT * FROM dd03l INTO ls_dd03l
                       WHERE as4local = 'A'
                         AND as4vers  = '0000'
                         AND tabname  = p_tabnam
                       ORDER BY position.
      ls_fieldname = ls_dd03l-fieldname.
      APPEND ls_fieldname TO lt_fieldname.
    ENDSELECT.
    IF NOT ( lt_fieldname[] IS INITIAL ).
      CREATE DATA lv_dref TYPE TABLE OF (p_tabnam).
      ASSIGN lv_dref->* TO <fs>.
      SELECT * FROM (p_tabnam) INTO TABLE <fs>.
      WRITE:
        / 'CONTENTS OF TABLE', p_tabnam.
      LOOP AT <fs> ASSIGNING <wa_data>.
        SKIP.
        WRITE:
          / 'LINE', sy-tabix.
        ULINE.
        LOOP AT lt_fieldname ASSIGNING <wa_comp>.
          ASSIGN COMPONENT sy-tabix OF STRUCTURE <wa_data> TO <wa_field>.
          WRITE:
            / <wa_comp>, <wa_field>.
        ENDLOOP.
