SET DEFAULT ROW IN MATRIX
Dear All,
we have created matrix through SDK which contains multiple rows.
we want to apply set as default row for the matrix ... How to manage the same.?
The functionlaity is same as set defualt warehouse in Item masterINventory tabwarehouse

Dear SWAPNIL PATIL,
You could add a User Defined Field or a Checkbox column to indicate if the row is default row.
Then add the button like 'Set as Default', when click the Button then set current focused row as default.

Does any one know how to set a default value in matrix column ?. I just want , when an event right click and add row. so i set a default value in a column field for example 'Test'. FYI the matrix is in the UDO.

How to set a row as default row in adf table
Hi,
I have a requirement: when page is launched there are multiple records with different status displayed on the page and i had to make the first record with Status = XXX as default selected row in adf table. How to code it?

We are using Jdev 11g. After received your response, i went through all of your responses in ADF coner and OTN for the related topics (setting detail row) and got some ideas(Specially, i got your detail coding for moving makeCurrent expression into selection listener method into backing bean, etc ) and was ready for coding this function. But our PM changed their mind and we dont need this function. So, I had to move to another area......

Can I make auto layout of Matrix Chart after setting fixed rows/columns ?
I want to make Matrix Chart to auto layout to zooming out a chart of filter.
Matrix Chart's layout is AUTO layout at creating.
Matrix Chart layout can fix specfic rows / columns from layout toolbar.
BUT fixed layout's Matrix Chart does not zoom a chart of filter.

Hi Yoshihiro - at the moment if a specific number of row/columns has been set for small multiples the chart will maintain these proportions even after filtering.
If the chart hasn't had a set row/column dimensions set it will automatically be re-laid out when filtered however. -

Instead of using omatrix.Addrow(1,-1) use like
omatrix.AddRow( RowCount , Position)
RowCount
The number of rows to add (default is 1)
Position
The position of the new rows (0-based; default is -1, meaning append row to the end)
After adding rows in matrix For, sno.

I need to set default values for the field Fiscal Quarter in item level using BADI CRM_CUSTOMER_I_BADI .This Field is created using EEW. The default value is like if the date is nov-2007 the value for this fiscal period is FQ4-2007 .

Item 107 is a matrix (a transposed one), I have no idea what list you mean... I am using item 107, not 112. Item 112 is used only to detect a click on the "Add Record" button, which is the last row of the matrix 112.
I don't see the gender column in the grid and I'm also unsure of the id you have for it "12" - are you sure it's correct ( i usually use Item("columnName") )?
Sorry for the confusion. "12" is the name of the standard column "Password" which we have renamed to store the gender.

Hi all,
I have search report in which, 5 multiselects are there and two select list are there.
some times when we choose the options and press 'GO' button
this kind of error is comming
"Invalid set of rows requested, the source data of the report has been modified."
But after going to another page and comming back it is working properly.
What might be the reason for it?? how to avoid it???

Please anyone could give me suggestion to solve the problem...
First time, when i run the application. the first page is the search page and the report will by-default display.
i am displaying 25 records per page. and when i click the pagination next arrow mark, it is saying "No records found"
but when i click the GO button once again it is comming.
This happens only once that too, only for the 2nd page... when i press next arrow for the next pages (3rd page) it is working fine.
when i run the application in the beginning.(ie when i start to run the application for the first time)

Hi,
Is it feasible to set the rows displayed per page dynamically in the table view result as per the user wants eg : the user wishes to see only 25 records or all the records?
Also what is the maximum limit of rows that can be fetched as per the entry in instanceconfig.xml :
<ResultRowLimit>65000</ResultRowLimit>
Is there a limit for number of rows being displayed in table view?

Removed the check mark and still shows 15 rows per page.Run your report. Set the Rows to 50. Press Go. Select 'Save Report' from the 'magic wheel' menu and next select 'Save as default report settings'.
It is a rather long way, but seems the only one...

Thanks for reply. but the problem is that I am getting data from database and based on some flag I need to select checkbox while page is loading first time.
at that time the table is null as till now it not rendered. and when its rendered it means page is displayed now.
just before display I need to set checkbox as selected.
I don't want to do like this (when user is pressing any command button then only is should update checkbox selection).

MASTER DETAIL - SET DEFAULT VALUES FOR ITEMS
I have a master detail page where on the master I do things like updating the entered_by and entered_date fields
by applying functions to set the item level details and the setting them to read only.
On the detail portion of the page I'd like to do the same but I don't see the details items on the page - only the master items.
The details portion is for comments so I'd like to have the commenter_name and commenter_date set to defined values
when I hit the add row button on the details portion.
Where are the detail items?
I'm using APEX 3.2

When you use master detail form, APEX generate 'Detail portion' as report. So if you edit the page, you may not see actual items for 'detail portion'.
If you want to set any default values or want to format these items, you may need to do as follows
1> Edit 'report' of 'detail portion'
2> Click on report attributes
3> Click on column, you want to set default values
4> Now here, Under 'Tabular Form Element' section you can do this by setting proper values to 'default type' and 'default' fields.

Thank'sFirst, in sap business one open the 'Fattura in uscita' form, then in menu 'View' set 'Informazioni di debug'.
Here you can see the column number corresponding to the fields you want to add in the row.
In your code use this information to insert records in the grid. Here's an example in VB6.

Disable specific Row in Matrix

I have created a matrix with two columns :- Item Code & Qty .If the Qty field is entered then it cannot be changed but i am not able to restrict changing that specific row .Is it possible to disable a single row in matrix .Just like the SAP Forms where once the transaction for specific row is done then it become disable and the remaining rows still become editable..

We can't disable row wise in a matrix. SAP handles that functionality in its default forms, but doesn't exposes the same for UDF's. We can only disable columns in a matrix.
I can perhaps suggest you a work around for your functionality. If the particular row satisfies the conditions for it to be disabled, then, once the user places the focus in the particular cell, then, you can check for the condition in Got_Focus event. If the disabled condition is satisfied, then, you can push the focus to the last line, and give a message telling that the cell cannot be edited.
