According to your description, when you preview the report using Report Viewer Control, you hope it is displayed in middle of the form. If that is the case, please refer to the following steps:
Click and select the report.
Click Format in the Toolbar.
In Format drop down list, select Center In Form, then select Horizontally.

  • "Stuttered" printing in middle of page on psc 2175 all in one

I have been very happy with my 2175 for several years.
Then today I have experienced all kinds of problems.
A lot of noises, best described as Grinding.  Also, the msg "Open door, clear carriage jam then press enter, -- following which I would get a msg to the effect of "Close cartridge Door, etc."
I have went through the procedures (several times) found on the website for trouble shooting the problems including doing the "cleaning procedures", (including cartridges and  paper rollers/wheels doing a through search for any paper jams etc . (none found),doing all the power off- power on -- cycling suggestions.
Right now, I have been able to print without strange noises, But I have "stuttered" printing in the middle of page of any printed document -- a MS Word Letter, or a printed webpage for example .  By "Stuttered" I mean a slight shift and reprint of characters.
The shift is much less than a standard character width on some documents consisting of only 2 or 3 characters.   By middle of page,  I mean the stuttering is confined to about 10 per cent of the page width - and right in the middle.  The Left and right  sides of the printed document appear fine.
Is it time for a new printer?  I hope not.
    Thanks,

Gently clean the encoder strip as described here.  Heed the warnings, the strip is fragile and can be damaged by rough handling.

  • Same set of data should print twice on same page in SAP SCRIPT

    Hi Experts,
I come across a requirement where I need same set of data in sap script should print twice as it is on same page.
and if first page overflow, then same scenario should continue till complete data is printed. Basically main window data should print twice in two blocks on same page.
    E.g.
If I have 10 line item which is to be printed on top window on  first page. Now I want that same 10 lines should be printed in a block below the first block. Data should flow similarly across multiple pages.
Hope my question is pretty clear. I am expecting suitable answers from experts.
    Thanks in advance.

    Vijay

    Hi
I had the same request for a check form in Canada. I solved it by writing the line item output into variables and print these variables in a second window. It was ~10 hours of effort, not a real nice technical solution but it worked.
If you require I can send you a PDF of the sap script form definition. You can contact me at [email protected] Answers can take 1 week or more.

can't increase text size when printing a web page

If you're using IE, click on View, Text Size and then whatever size you'd like.  You'll see the changes on the screen and it should print out the same way.
    Hope that helps.

  • Can't print directly from web pages anymore-what setting needs to be changed?

After doing a recent update for the printer, the program jammed up and I was forced to  uninstall then reinstall the printer. Since doing so, whenever I want to print a doc from a website, I right click to print, and a save page comes up-forcing me to save the document somewhere before I can print. I save to desktop, then can print from there. This is an extra step I never had to do before-could always print from the page. What setting do I need to change?

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
It sounds like the printer is not the "Default".
Print to Printer without First Saving to File
Not nearly as common, slightly possible, is that your browser is not picking up a properly set default printer setting.

  • How To Set Up Your Unsupported Printer

I managed to get my unsupported printer working, and I'd thought I'd share my experience.
This guide will help you achieve:
    Installation of unsupported printers.
Setup of "print services" on network.
A litte background: I have an Okidata C3200n, it's a GDI printer, and relies heavily on the manufacturer dirvers to function correctly on any operating system. Unfortunately for me (and many others) it seems that Okidata has been dragging their feet when it came to publishing drivers in preparation for Lion. They sent out an official announcement (OKI Printer Driver Compatibility with Mac OS X Lion - Revision 1.6) which details expected release dates for various printers. Mine won't be until mid-December, or so. Major bummer there. I use this printer for my daily business in my company, and can't go without it for more than a few days, so waiting until December is clearly not an option.
Having experienced Okidata tech support in the past, and having worked with them to get my printer running on Linux before there was a Linux driver available, I decided to give them a call to see if they would have a work-around, perhaps with some opensource drivers, to tide users over until then. Their response was that I need to down-grade to Snow Leopard, or get a new printer. Some customer support that is. They drag their feet in developing drivers, then ask us to inconvenience ourselves until they get their act together -- not acceptable.
So, having been through this before in Ubuntu, I remember Foomatic CUPS print drivers. This is where the almost pain-less solution comes in. This process does involve some command-line work, but I'll try to spell everything out as clearly as possible here.
Log on to your LION server (or desktop, but in my situation I am setting up a network printer) using your admin account (I use Local Admin, but your setup may vary).
Download Foomatic-RIP and Ghostscript for Mac and install them: http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/openprinting/macosx/foomat ic
    Locate your printer: http://www.openprinting.org/printers
If you printer page lists a driver for download, go ahead and install it. You should be good to go and the driver should be available to use on LION. If your printer lists a Filter (in my case foo2hiperc), continue reading.
Download WGET to your Downloads folder from here: http://www.techtach.org/wget-prebuilt-binary-for-mac-osx-lion.
Download and install Mac Ports from here: Mac Ports for Lion.
Download and install XCode from the AppStore: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/xcode/id448457090?mt=12
Open Terminal and enter the following:
    sudo port install gsed
    cd ~/Downloads
    wget -O foo2zjs.tar.gz http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com/foo2zjs.tar.gz   sdff
    tar zxf foo2zjs.tar.gz
    cd foo2zjs
    make
sudo make install (you may need to enter your admin password at this time, it will prompt you if you do)
    sudo make cups
Now, if everything went well (if you didn't see any error messages), we're all done with command-line. Let's get your printer up and running. Open Safari and browse to http://localhost:631. This is your CUPS printer admin area (why Apple didn't make a full-fledged server admin GUI I have no idea). You may need to authenticate, again with your local admin user.
Click on the Administration tab, then click the Add Printer button.
Choose your printer. If it is not listed, select the appropriate protocol. (I like using IPP.)
If you selected a protocol, enter the destination details here. For example you may need to enter your printer's IP address. Then click Continue.
Now you can name your printer to something readable and friendly, as well as give it a location, if you have multiple printers in different rooms or buildings. Be sure to check "Share this printer." to make it available to all your networked LION client machines. Again, press Continue when ready.
On this screen you will be selecting the driver for your printer. Click the Select Other Manufacturer button, and select the manufacturer of your printer and hit Continue. You will now see a list of updated drivers. One of these should be the foomatic or foo2hiperc driver we just installed. Highlight the corresponding driver for your printer, and click the Add Printer button.
Lo and behold, you now have a networked printer set up on your server. I know what you're thinking now ... you're dreading having to do this on all of the client machines as well, right? Luckily, this is where I think the hidden genius of Apple lies. They know why they dropped support for custom drivers. By using CUPS server on the LION clients as well, they can speak to the server directly in CUPS native language, leaving the server to interpret how it needs to be sent to the printer. GENIUS!
You should now be able to scurry on over to your LION client machine and see the shared printer available to install. It will automatically install itself and the driver it needs without hastle.
I would like to give credit to my brother Sebastian Bronner, who helped me find the right resources. I put these steps together based on the instructions at http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/openprinting/macosx/foomat ic and http://foo2hiperc.rkkda.com/, made available by the OpenSource community.
Please let me know if you have any issues or questions, and if this solution helped you.
    Best of luck,
    ~Mike

Thanks for this - I also have an OKI (a C5500) and this is a Godsend as I would struggle to replace it.
    A couple of comments:
Points 6 and 7 should be switched - MacPorts wouldn't install until XCode was installed. You my also want to expand the XCode instructions to say that the App Store link downloads the installer and that you need to go into Launchpad and run it to fully install XCode.
The gsed installation also popped up and asked me to install Java (through Software Update). I did this and the installation of gsed continued and completed succesfully.
If wget is in the Downloads folder, the command you have to use it in point 8 should be prefaced with ./ as it's the local folder it will run from.
You have an extraneous line right below the wget command (sdff).
Otherwise, this is a really excellent procedure.
    Many thanks,
    Des

  • How to set up department ID printing on Canon IR Advanced C2020

We have a few Mac users (ranging from Leopard to Lion) that need to be able to print to our network printers. When I set them up to print to the Toshiba network printers I get the option of "Print Mode" in the printer options and then I can add their department ID so they can print. However on our Canon printers (IR Advanced C2020) that option doesn't exist and I can't send any print jobs through. I've downloaded and installed the UFR II v2.30 drivers and added the copier successfully. Is this option not available with this style of printer? Am I spinning my tires trying to get this to work?

The UFR2 driver does support Dept ID printing, providing you have the Mac's printing directly to the C2020. I have added some screen captures for the UFR2 driver to an iR C3380, the same applies to the new ADVANCE C2020.
If you have a document to print, let's say a PDF in Preview, and open the print dialog, you should have a Special Features menu as shown.
If you press the Printer Info button under the copiers picture, this will communicate with the copier and determine that Department ID Management is enabled, as shown. Note also the coins and calculater icon in the bottom left of the copier image.
OK this window which will return you to the Special Features above. But now you will have Job Accounting check box, which will be ticked.
If you press the Settings button, highlighted above with the red box, this will present a window where you can enter the department ID and password for this user, and also select whether you want the ID pop-up window when you print, so that you can change the ID/password if needed.
You are now ready to print to the C2020.

  • I need some help setting up a WiFi printer please

Firstly, apologies for the long post but I’m really struggling with this one.
I live in France and am trying to get wifi printing working on a friend’s Intel iMac (OSX Tiger 10.4.11) connected to a Lexmark X4875 printer. She’s connecting to the internet via Airport using a Livebox router, no problems. I’ve set up the printer to work wifi and that all 'appears' to be successful with the wifi light going to green as it should. I’ve also ‘associated’ the printer with the router by pressing the association button on the Livebox at the time of set-up and the printer is registered with the Livebox with correct MAC id.
So far everything looks like it should work until I go ‘Add Printer’ and the wifi printer is never seen (no problems if connected via USB). I’ve reset the printer erasing all print settings and starting again, done numerous restarts of all devices and still no go.
I should add that I have set up many wifi printers previously and even had this one working previously for over a year - it’s just that she had to get a new Livebox recently and now I can’t get it to work.
I realise that not everybody will be familiar with the Livebox although they are common anywhere Orange operates as an ISP but I’m hoping that someone will have some nugget of information that will help me get this sorted.
Thanks in advance for any advice, Paul.

  • Set document to be seen one page at a time but print four to a page?

I would like to create a pdf (from a PowerPoint presentation) so that when it is viewed on the web it is seen one page at a time but when it is printed it prints four to a page. It is possible to put that in pdf document settings or do I have to rely on users to make the four to a page choice themselves when they print?

File > Properties > Initial View
You can set the initial view
From the Advanced tab in the Properties you can set some Printing Defaults, but in AA9 Pro, I do not see Tiling as an option. (I believe the powers that be at Adobe thought it best to re-name this feature Banner in AA10. Perhaps it's Poster, I've only seen screen shots of AA10 Print dialog. They've sucessfully dumbed it all down in keeping with Microsoft's current philosophies. Increase font size should soon enough be replaced with "Grow Font")

How do I set up my dx7400 printer to iPhone 4s as I have no pc or lap top?

    You don't.
According to Epson ( http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supAdvice.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&type =highlights&noteoid=196563#epson_connect_compatibility ) That printer does not support AirPrint.

    Hello skyblue7777,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you're unable to set as default using the Laserjet P1006. I will do my best to assist you! I would recommend uninstalling the software since you're receiving this type of error message. Please follow this entire HP document on Uninstalling the Printer Software. Make sure you remove this printer is Devices and Printers. Remove the USB cord out of the computer at this point.
Next, please perform a clean boot on your computer by following this Microsoft document here. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program.
Once this is complete, download the full feature software from the HP website here. Choose your correct operating system; Either 32 bit or 64 bit.
Please post your results, as I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great day!
