i am using below code, but it will not work properly.
the parameters which are available in the hashMap,not passed properly to the updation Page(to the updation Query)
hashParams.put("ItemNumber"+i,vitemNum);
hashParams.put("Count",Count);
multiIter.closeRowSetIterator();
pageContext.setForwardURL("OA.jsp?page=/xxfls/oracle/apps/po/packlist/webui/XxSuppalistcrealistPG",

  • How to set filter for few Setup Objects on Geneneral Foundation?

    Controlling the download of sub-entities:
By default all sub-entities are downloaded. Pass a non-existing value
for the parameter (primary key) of the sub-entity if you don't want to
    download a specific sub-entity.
For example, if you don't want to download the values of a value set,
    then use following input to FLEX_VALUE attribute while setting filter;
    FLEX_VALUE='THIS_IS_A_NON_EXISTING_VALUE_I_DONT_WANT_TO_DOWNLOAD_VALUES'
    VALUE_SET
    Notes:
    - To download '$FLEX$.%' value sets pass '$FLEX$.%' argument.
    - Upload API automatically submits the hierarchy compiler request
    - FLEX_VALUE_SET_NAME is a required argument for download.
You can find the following parameters in Set Filter screen of Value Set Values.
    VALUE_SET has subenities such as VSET_SECURITY_RULE, VSET_ROLLUP_GROUP and VSET_VALUE.
Setting value for attribute FLEX_VALUE_SET_NAME downloads all the subentities. If you want
to restrict the subentities, set appropriate filter at VSET_SECURITY_RULE, VSET_ROLLUP_GROUP
    and VSET_VALUE.
    Parameters:
    VALUE_SET
    | FLEX_VALUE_SET_NAME : Value set name.
    |
    +-VSET_SECURITY_RULE
    | FLEX_VALUE_RULE_NAME : Value set security rule name.
    | PARENT_FLEX_VALUE_LOW : Independent value for the dependent value sets.
    |
    +-VSET_ROLLUP_GROUP
    | HIERARCHY_CODE : Hierarchy (rollup group) code.
    |
    +-VSET_VALUE
PARENT_FLEX_VALUE_LOW : Independent value for the dependent value sets.
    FLEX_VALUE : Flexfield segment value.
    DESC_FLEX
    Notes:
    - Upload API automatically submits the flexfield compiler request
    - Upload API automatically submits the DFV view generator request
    - APPLICATION_SHORT_NAME is a required argument for download.
You can find the following parameters in Set Filter screen of Descriptive Flexfields.
    DESC_FLEX has subenities such as DFF_REF_FIELD, DFF_CONTEXT and DFF_SEGMENT.
Setting value for attributes DESC_FLEX and DESCRIPTIVE_FLEXFIELD_NAME downloads all the subentities.
If you want to restrict the subentities, set appropriate filter at DFF_REF_FIELD, DFF_CONTEXT
    and DFF_SEGMENT.
    Parameters:
    DESC_FLEX
    | APPLICATION_SHORT_NAME : Application Short Name.
    | DESCRIPTIVE_FLEXFIELD_NAME : Descriptive Flexfield Name.
    |
    +-DFF_REF_FIELD
    | DEFAULT_CONTEXT_FIELD_NAME : BLOCK.FIELD reference field name.
    |
    +-DFF_CONTEXT
    | DESCRIPTIVE_FLEX_CONTEXT_CODE : Context Code
    |
    +-DFF_SEGMENT
    END_USER_COLUMN_NAME : Segment Name
    APPLICATION_COLUMN_NAME : Column Name
    KEY_FLEX
    Notes:
    - Upload API automatically submits the flexfield compiler request
    - Upload API automatically submits the KFV view generator request
    - Upload API automatically submits the structure view generator request
    - APPLICATION_SHORT_NAME is a required argument for download.
You can find the following parameters in Set Filter screen of Key Flexfields.
    KEY_FLEX has subenities such as DFF_REF_FIELD, DFF_CONTEXT and DFF_SEGMENT.
Setting value for attributes APPLICATION_SHORT_NAME and ID_FLEX_CODE downloads all the subentities.
If you want to restrict the subentities, set appropriate filter at KFF_FLEX_QUAL, KFF_SEGMENT_QUAL,
    ,KFF_STRUCTURE,KFF_WF_PROCESS,KFF_SH_ALIAS,KFF_CVR_RULE and KFF_SEGMENT.
    Parameters:
    KEY_FLEX
    | APPLICATION_SHORT_NAME : Application Short Name.
    | ID_FLEX_CODE : Key Flexfield Code.
    |
    +-KFF_FLEX_QUAL
    | | SEGMENT_ATTRIBUTE_TYPE : Flexfield Qualifier Name
    | |
    | +-KFF_SEGMENT_QUAL
    | VALUE_ATTRIBUTE_TYPE : Segment Qualifier Name
    |
    +-KFF_STRUCTURE
    | ID_FLEX_STRUCTURE_CODE : Structure Code
    |
    +-KFF_WF_PROCESS
    | WF_ITEM_TYPE : Workflow Item Type
    |
    +-KFF_SH_ALIAS
    | ALIAS_NAME : Shorthand Alias Name
    |
    +-KFF_CVR_RULE
    | FLEX_VALIDATION_RULE_NAME : Cross Val. Rule Name.
    |
    +-KFF_SEGMENT
    SEGMENT_NAME : Segment Name
    APPLICATION_COLUMN_NAME : Column Name
    MENU
You can find the following parameters in Set Filter screen of Menus.
PARENT_MENU_NAME Name of the menu to start downloading at. If this
parameter is specified on its own, that menu and
all its children will be downloaded. If specified
    with FUNCTION_NAME and/or SUB_MENU_NAME, then only
the menu entry with that function and/or submenu name
immediately under the PARENT_MENU_NAME will be
    downloaded.
FUNCTION_NAME Function name to limit download to. If this parameter
is specified then PARENT_MENU_NAME must also be
specified in order to download menus. Specifies
the function on a menu entry immediately under
PARENT_MENU_NAME which will be downloaded; all other
menu entries under PARENT_MENU_NAME will not be
    downloaded.
SUB_MENU_NAME Sub Menu name to limit download to. If this parameter
is specified then PARENT_MENU_NAME must also be
specified in order to download menus. Specifies
the Sub Menu on a menu entry immediately under
PARENT_MENU_NAME which will be downloaded (along with
all its children); all other menu entries under
    PARENT_MENU_NAME will not be downloaded.
MENU_APP_SHORT_NAME Application short name of Menu. The menu on the resp
for this application will be downloaded. If you
pass this parameter, do not pass any of the other
parameters; this parameter is only supported on its
    own.

Oh never mind.... I figured it out myself helps to read up on the manuals. d'oh. sorry for the bandwidth waste...

  • How to Change Value set Dynamically for a Parameter in Apps?

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to change the value set dynamically for a given Parameter. This goes as, I have a Concurrent Program with 4 parameters. First Parameter is mandatory Business group.Second Parameter is Warehouse. Based up on the First parameter the second parameters LoV's are displayed, the third and fourth parameters value sets are dependent up on the Second parameter value. Parameter 2,3,4 Value sets are Table type. So i Used .$FLEX$.Value_setname to retrive the LOV's
The Requirment now is that if the User doesn't enter the Parameter 2 than the Third Parameter field must be Open and he must be able to enter the Free text. In my case it is an Order Number. If the User enters the paramter 2 value than LOV's for ORder number pertaining to that Warehouse must get displayed. I've figured that this can be possible only if i change the Valuesets Dyanamically. I'm not sure if that is possible or not.
    I have tried :
Using a Dummy Parameter with a new valueset(Transactable Independent) and giving Y and N based up on Warehouse parameter input.
    SELECT (DECODE ( :$FLEX$.WAREHOUSE_NAMES,NULL,'Y','N')) from dual;
    The default type was SQL.
Then in the 3rd Parameter i have used Case function to differentiate Y or N. The third parameter being ORder number, is a table type and derived from Oe_order_headers_all.
In the Query section i tried using dummy parameter value set to retreive the values. I was terribly Unsuccessful in doing so.
Does the above Case exists or is Doable? Please, Help me out if somone had worked on Similar thing or have any idea of standard report/program using it in Oracle.
    Thanks alot for the Help!

You will probably have better luck on the eBusinesSuite forum. This is more of a setup issue when defining your LOV and program parameters than it is a SQL or PL/SQL issue.

Good luck - this is an aggravating issue to work with and I wish I did have the answer for you!

    Regards

    Hi,
if you start report via SE38. program name RFUMSV00 you can read the program documentation. In here it states what is needed:
...In addition, the report provides data for the electronic advance return
for tax on sales/purchases. The administration report for electronic tax
returns (FOT_B2A_ADMIN) then directly sends the return to your relevant
    tax authority.
To use the electronic advance return for tax on sales/purchases, make
the necessary settings in the screen area Posting Parameters under
    Electronic Advance Tax Return.
For more information, see the SAP Library under Financials -> Financial
Accounting (FI) -> Financial Accounting  General Topics -> Taxes
(FI-AP/AR) -> Taxes on Sales/Purchases, Sales Taxes, and Additional
Taxes -> Electronic Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purchases.
Hope this gives you a beginning.

No. CSS is for presentation, but these parameters belong to
    the HTML and
    have to be written there.
BTW: The 'embed' element is invalid HTML. If you care about
    valid markup
and your site doesn't have to be compatible with really old
    browsers
like NN 4 or IE 5.5, then you should use the valid method
    using 'object'

  • Process open items: how to set defaults for the additional selections

    Hi FI experts,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to set defaults for the additional selections in the processing of open items.
I am using transaction F-04 (or F-06 or F-07) to post with clearing.
When processing the open items I can use additional selection parameters. In my case I need to use the document type.  I would like to save this selection as a default but this doesn't seem to be possible.
    1. it is not possible to save a variant for the processing of open items
    2. I can not create a variant transaction (with trx. SHD0) for F-0x since this is only possible for dialog transactions
Do you see another way to store defaults for the additional selections in open item processing?
    Thanks a lot.
    Dimitri

    Hi,
When you create a transaction variant from FB05, then also you will not able to default the value for additional selections variable.  Hence SHD0 is not going to help.
As said above, either you can change the additional selection screen parameters, but here again you can't default the value.  You can only reduce the number of entries on the screen.
Else you can create a custom transaction code by copying the standard.  Even SAP recommends to create custom codes from standard tcode for clearing purposes depending on requirements.
    Please check this link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/EN/41/37b8e7455b11d182b40000e829fbfe/frameset.htm
In the above link, in navigation choose clearing -- Specifications for processing open items
If it is a custom transaction then you can default document number.

  • Set headers for drill-down reports.

    Hi!!!
The problem we have by now is when printing a report, selected characteristis are showed in header as "multiple values" instead of showing the real values that user have choose.
Does anybody knows how to set headers for drill-down reports in order to see selected characteristics?
    Thanks in advance...
    Adela Cambiasso.

    Sorry, me again...
I have found yet they way to show in the header the report parameters, I mean, the selection criterias that user used when execute the report... I was able to show selected characteristics inside de report but not the selection criteria...
Do you know what I have lost? or what to use for this?
    Thanks again.

  • APP-FND-01702 An assignment does not exit for these parameters

    Hi,
I am facing this below error in AP,AR,CM,GL Modules. If any one knows the solution plz revert back ASAP,
I encountered the error message when I created an invoice in AP module:
APP-FND-01702:An assignment does not exist for these parameters and one is mandatory.
Cause:The profile option Sequential Numbering is defined to have
sequential numbering always used. The current set of parameters does not have a sequence assigned.
Acction: Go to the Assign Sequqnces screen and assign a sequenct to the current set of parameters.
    Regards,
    senthil

    Hi Senthil,
this is an issue with the configuration only, when the profile option is Always used system is referring to your Sequential numbering configuration, which seems to be not right / incomplete...Hence verify whether you have defined assignment for all the categories in the modules and re-test the same again ....
You can change the profile option value to Partially used, which will not throw an error, it would only give you a warning ..

  • Only 'EQ' and 'I' allowed for selection parameters

    Hi!
We are generating the list of POs with open GR thru ME2M with selection parameters of WE101 and WE107, however, we encountered an error which states "Only 'EQ' and 'I' allowed for selection parameters."
    What shall we do?

    Hi,
This error will have nothing to do with the selection parameter setting but the variant you are defining for your ME2M transaction.  Can you therefore provide detailed info on how you set it up in your system?
    Cheers,
    HT

  • No value for given parameters error when using command parameters in RDC.

I am trying to create a report using RDC with a parameter in the query, but I keep getting "No value for given parameters" error.  Here is the code I use:
    Dim creport As CRAXDDRT.Report
    Dim appn As CRAXDDRT.Application
    Dim datcmd1 As New ADODB.Command
    Dim adocn As New ADODB.Connection
    Dim sqltext As String
    Dim x As CRAXDDRT.ParameterFieldDefinition
    Set appn = New CRAXDDRT.Application
    Set creport = appn.NewReport
    Set x = creport.ParameterFields.Add("test", 2)
    x.AddCurrentValue 0
sqltext = "SELECT Name FROM TestTable WHERE ID={?test}"
    Set adocn = New ADODB.Connection
    adocn.Open "Provider=SQLOLEDB;Data Source=myDB;UID=xxx;PWD=xxx;"
    Set datcmd1 = New ADODB.Command
    Set datcmd1.ActiveConnection = adocn
    datcmd1.CommandText = sqltext
    creport.Database.AddADOCommand adocn, datcmd1
    creport.SaveAs "test", crDefaultFileFormat
    Set datcmd1 = Nothing
    Set adocn = Nothing
    Set creport = Nothing
    Set appn = Nothing

    Hello, Paul;
If you add your database connection to the command object and put fields on your report without the parameter, do you get the report you expect?
These are version 8/8.5 samples but the code is the same:
    [Note 1|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_erq/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes.do]
    [Note 2|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_erq/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes.do]
Once you have added the database connection follow that with the parameter code.
    [Note 3|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_erq/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes.do]

If you add the parameter and put the field on the report, can you pass the value successfully?

  • Configure a SSRS Data Alert once for all parameters

    Hi,
while BOL mention "[...] If the report is parameterized, you might need to run the report using different parameter values to ensure the data that that you are interested in appears in the report. After the report is open, you click the
New Data Alert option on the Actions menu on the report toolbar to open Data Alert Designer [...]"
is it possible, or is there a work around, to configure a data alert that lists all parameter members?
i.e. I've a report with a parameter that is "Customer" that contains more or less 1000 names. How can I create a single data alert for each Customer? --> i.e if the customer has a payment delay greater than n days?
    Thanks in advance, Davide

    Hi Davide,
Per my understanding that you want to create only one Data Alert for all the parameters in the lists, right?
As you know that if the report is parameterized ,only after the report is open then you can click the New Data Alert option on the Actions menu on the report toolbar to open Data Alert Designer and create the Data alert.
So by design you need to first select the parameter to filter the report and then create the “New Data Alert” . When you choose a data feed, the data from the feed displays in a table with rows and columns in the alert data pane of Data Alert Designer which
is the filtered tables data based on this parameter, that means the current version not support to set only one Data Alert for all parameters at once through the setting of the “New Data Alert” , The parameter values you chose to run the report are saved
in the alert definition and will be used when report is rerun as a step in processing the alert definition. To use different parameter values, you must create a new alert definition.

  • Concurrent Set - use 1st stage parameters into 2nd stage parameters

    Hi all,
We have developed a concurrent set that has two stages:
    1) a concurrent program that generates a text report as the output.
    2) a concurrent program that sends by email whatever is the output of the first one.
The first one, the one that generates the report, takes two date parameters, and the second one, the one that sends the email, takes an email address and an email subject as parameters.
My question is: Would it be possible to print in the emails's subject (parameter of stage 2) the values entered for the parameters in the first stage?
Basicalle what the user wants is to have both the report's title and execution parameters in the email's subject. The report's title is constant and has been already added, but what about the two date parameters?
    Thanks!!
    German

A shared parameter would allow me to use the same value for multiple parameters, but what I need to do here is to reference the previous stage parameters and concatenate them together with a constant report's title.
    Something like this:
    SEQ | Prompt | Type | Value
    40 | Email Subject | Constant | Report's Title - from &date_param1 to &date_param2

    Ignoring the TABLES/CHANGING/EXPORTING argument...
while publishing web service by using rfc where i am unable to set optional for table structure i am able to put optional for import parameters may i know how to set optional for table structure
Why not?  There's no issue with marking a TABLES interface parameter with 'Optional' and publishing the function module or function group as a web service...
